This guide will detail how to defeat three specific mini-bosses in Chapter 5 of Black Myth Wukong to obtain Samadhi Fire Crystals needed to craft Blazing Karma, one of the most powerful pieces of equipment in the late to mid-game Legendary Staff.
Players can craft Staff of Blazing Karma in Chapter 5 of Black Myth Wukong. This weapon is one of the most powerful pieces of equipment in the late to mid-game. However, to craft this staff, players need to collect three Samadhi Fire Crystals. These materials can only be obtained by defeating three specific mini-bosses in Chapter 5.
Samadhi Fire Crystals can be obtained by defeating Flint Chief, Flint Vanguard, and Mother Of Flamlings. Each boss will drop a Samadhi Fire Crystal along with Black Myth Wukong Items. These enemies all use a fire attack. It is recommended that players wear armor with Burn Resistance and carry or craft Body-Cooling Powder to deal with these fire attacks.
Flint Chief is the first boss to drop a Samadhi Fire Crystal. Start at Valley Entrance shrine in Furnace Valley. Follow the main path until you see a large lava waterfall. Then continue along this path until you find a small stone bridge spanning a small lava channel. Wear Fireproof Mantle and head into the lava and turn left under the rock channel.
Once across the stone bridge, continue along the lava until you see a small stream of lava falling from above. In front of the lava flow is a Fire Date tree. As you pass this tree, Flint Chief will begin to form in front of you. This boss relies primarily on brute force and his arms to attack. Focus on destroying his arms with upgraded weapons and armor.
The player will need to first pass a large Iron Ball. This Iron Ball will move up and down, but just avoid it and move along the side of the road from one safe area to another. Eventually, you’ll see a cutscene where the large Iron Ball is destroyed and a new path opens up to Cooling Slope area. This area can be reached by starting from either Ashen Pass III or Fallen Furnace Crater shrine.
Whichever shrine you choose, return along the path that Iron Ball originally took. A gigantic wall will block an area along the way, but once Plantain Fan is removed and Iron Ball is removed, this wall of fire will no longer be there. Coming from Ashen Pass III, you will turn right where the wall of fire used to be, and coming from Fallen Furnace Crater, you will turn left.
Follow the slope until you see a group of grey rocks sticking out from the black rocks. When you get close to these rocks, Flint Vanguard will appear. Avoid staying near Flint Vanguard for too long, as it will slam its upper body into the ground, causing a huge lava explosion. Fireproof Mantle can resist the lava damage here to a certain extent.
After defeating Flint Vanguard, follow the right side of the open area and you will encounter some fire-based rock enemies before encountering several flames. Try to get Flame Ore from Flamlings. Continue forward and place four Flame Ores in the area with orange flashes on the ground to summon Mother of Flamlings.
The fight with Mother of Flamlings is relatively easy. When her health is low, she will summon a circle of small Flamlings to attack you with Flame Ore. Clear the small Flamlings quickly and the fight with Mother of Flamlings will become easy. After defeating her, you will get the final Samadhi Fire Crystal.
Hopefully, this guide will help you complete this challenge smoothly and enjoy the game.
Once you enter the endgame phase in Last Epoch, not only will the game mechanics become more complex and difficult, you will also encounter more dangerous bosses. Sometimes these bosses are even closely related to each other - you must defeat one to find the next higher-level boss.
Take Harbinger Of Hatred as an example. Only by defeating him can you move on to challenge the pinnacle boss Aberroth, but to unlock the encounter with Harbinger Of Hatred, you need to kill the final boss Rahyeh in The Black Sun timeline. Based on this, we will give you a priority to introduce you to how to defeat this “intermediary” boss.
Of course, as we have already mentioned, you must defeat Rahyeh first, and then the probability of Harbinger Of Hatred appearing is related to your Corruption level. Corruption is a special mechanic in Monolith of Fate system. The more Corruption you have, the more dangerous the enemies you encounter will be, but they will also provide more rewards.
Harbinger of Hatred begins appearing when you have 100 corruptions, and a new difficulty level unlocks for every 25 corruptions (up to a cap of 300 corruptions). To get as much Last Epoch Gold as possible from Harbinger of Hatred, as well as other rewards, you’ll need to clear the normal versions of the timelines Spirits of Fire, The Last Ruin, and The Age of Winter.
Before you start fighting Harbinger of Hatred, you must defeat Rahyeh, The Black Sun in the same fight, as it can be tricky to deal with both bosses at once. Harbinger of Hatred is a tanky boss that defends itself by absorbing damage and negating your AOE attacks, so you’ll need to be on the move and fully aware of its attack patterns to defeat it.
The boss’s weakness is that there’s a vulnerable gap between two powerful attacks, which is when you can deal with damage. Here are all of its attacks and how to deal with them.
The boss will use this skill to form a cone-shaped ground slam that will cause physical damage to you. When this skill is activated, the boss will raise the hammer, which can be used as a sign to sidestep to avoid the attack.
This skill has a larger range of slams and will be accompanied by a red warning, which will cause severe physical damage to you. The way to deal with it is to quickly move out of the red warning area to avoid the attack.
Harbinger Of Hatred and its echoes use this skill to launch a series of slams at you, sending out physical and void damage lines. You need to place yourself between the echo lines as much as possible to avoid the related damage.
The boss will launch three consecutive weapon swings, which will bring powerful ground slams. To avoid this attack, you must stay away from the boss during the combo and re-engage after the last slam.
This skill allows the boss to summon lingering orbs that deal void damage when they come into contact with you. To avoid them, you must keep moving and avoid hitting these orbs.
When this skill is activated, the boss will open a portal and smash it through with his hammer, dealing physical and void damage to you. Therefore, when the portal appears, you must immediately move away from the portal to avoid the attack.
Harbinger Of Hatred will rush forward with this skill and deal physical and void damage to you. The damage caused by this boss skill can be dodged laterally.
The boss will use this skill to deploy orbs that will shoot void projectiles at you in a straight line. To avoid this attack, you need to stay as far away from the line of fire of the turrets deployed by the boss as possible.
After understanding Harbinger Of Hatred’s combat skills, you also need to equip reliable gear and modifiers to make your Last Epoch character more powerful in order to easily deal with this boss. I believe you have already discovered that this boss mainly causes physical and void damage, so the following types of gear and modifiers will be more targeted:
Gear:
Echo Modifiers:
After defeating Harbinger Of Hatred, in addition to basic gold or XP, you will also get some unique items, and rewards related to Forgotten Knight Faction, including:

Legendary third baseman Scott Rolen was inducted into Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023. On April 25, MLB The Show 25 released a new program, Rolen & The Reds Program, with Scott Rolen theme to commemorate Scott Rolen’s career with Reds.
99 OVR Scott Rolen was also added to the game on April 23. He is a reward for Legends and Flashbacks Collection.
Although Rolen & The Reds Program rewards do not include MLB The Show 25 Stubs, the three cards included in the rewards are all very valuable!
This card is a silver card from Last Ride series, and is played as a center fielder. Jim Edmonds can play as a hitter, but his attributes are not high. Jim Edmonds is ranked 49th among all center fielders as a center fielder. With 9 Quirks, he is even better than some Diamond cards in some cases.
87 OVR Scott Rolen is a weaker version of 99 OVR Scott Rolen, but still a powerful card. The difference from 99 OVR Scott Rolen is that 87 OVR Scott Rolen comes from Reds.
This card can be used as a hitter, but it is not his strong point. 87 OVR Scott Rolen has a Fielding data of 81, and Arm Strength and Arm Accuracy are both above 80. And with 6 Quirks, this card becomes the 16th ranked third baseman.
90 OVR Johnny Cueto also comes from Reds, and he is a starting pitcher. Johnny Cueto played as a pitcher for Reds from 2008 to 2015. As a rookie, Johnny Cueto led Reds to victory against Arizona Diamondbacks. His performance was not stable in the following years, but he gradually regained his winning touch in 2014 and 2015.
90 OVR Johnny Cueto ranks 13th among starting pitchers. Here are his pitching statistics:
These data are already very good among pitchers, but unfortunately this card does not have any Quirks, otherwise his ranking can continue to rise.
It is not so hard to complete this program. Players from several teams are not difficult to get rewards. If you are short of a player from a certain team, you only need to spend a dozen stubs to get a player you need. In addition, you can put players from Phillies, Cardinals, Blue Jays and Reds into the same team, so you can complete the progress of 4 tasks at the same time.
In addition, as long as you use players from these teams, you can increase Team Affinity progress and get Jolt Vouchers. Jolt Voucher is one of the requirements to get 99 OVR Scott Rolen. Here are all the requirements for 99 OVR Scott Rolen.
For most players, it is still very difficult to meet all the requirements of 99 OVR Scott Rolen. For example, 6 Cornerstone cards require you to complete all Cornerstone Programs in March and April. Perhaps only some loyal fans of this series can quickly get this paper card.
For other players, getting this card now will consume a lot of stubs. It is recommended to wait for a month or two, when you gradually meet all the conditions, and then you can get this card.
The above is all about Rolen & The Reds Program. The difficulty of this program is not high, and the reward cards are also very valuable. It is highly recommended that you complete this program.
MLB The Show 25’s Last Ride Program is a program for the last season of several legendary baseball players. The players to be commemorated in Last Ride Program are Mike Mussina, who chose to retire after achieving 20 wins in a single season in 2008, and David Ortiz, who still ranked first in the league in slugging percentage and overall offensive index before retirement.
Last Ride Program is similar to other programs. You still need to complete tasks and accumulate points to unlock rewards. Besides the regular XP and stubs rewards, this time the rewards also include 87 OVR Last Ride Mike Mussina and 88 OVR Last Ride David Ortiz.
Mike Mussina is a leading right-handed pitcher for Yankees. Mike Mussina throws many different kinds of pitches. His four-seam fastball dropped to 84-88 mph (about 135-142 km) at the end of his career. His actual pitches include two-seam fastballs, forkballs, sliders, changeups, curveballs, etc., and the snap curveball, which is considered his best pitch. He would use the angle of his elbow to conceal the pitch during the game. For example, he would deliberately lower his side hand position to cover up the low starting position when throwing a rising ball.
As his condition declined near retirement, this is also reflected in his card. His H/9 and K/9 attributes are not high, but his other data are still at a good level. He currently ranks 22nd among all starting pitchers, which is a very good card.
David Ortiz is a first baseman or designated hitter for Red Sox, nicknamed Big Papi. He set the record for the most home runs hit by all hitters in the last year of their careers in major league history. He is a member of the 500 home run club and was inducted into Hall of Fame when he first became eligible.
In addition to the above achievements, he is most remembered by Boston fans for his many key hits, especially in the playoffs. During his time with Red Sox, his OPS in the playoffs was as high as 0.969.
David Ortiz is a left-handed hitter. His contact attributes are good for both sides, and his right hand power is very strong, but this is not the actual strength of David Ortiz. He also has 7 Quirks, which greatly increases the upper limit of this card. Currently, 88 OVR David Ortiz ranks ninth among first basemen.
You need to complete 6 Moments and 4 Missions to reach 50 points to unlock 88 OVR Last Ride David Ortiz.
The difficulty of this mission is to gain PXP with a Last Ride Series batter, as it seems that there are not many batters in Last Ride Series, and if you fail to complete this mission, you will only have 45 points and cannot unlock David Ortiz.
MLB 25 certainly won't give you an impossible mission. Adrian Beltre, 79 OVR, is a third baseman who can also hit, and he can help with this last task, and Athletics' Joe Morgan also meets the requirements with his overall rating of 64. However, neither card can be obtained through stub trading.
87 OVR Last Ride Mike Mussina and 88 OVR Last Ride David Ortiz are both valuable cards, and the subsequent Last Ride series will add more cards. Collecting them in advance will help you complete various programs.
This April is definitely a very busy month for ARPG enthusiasts. At the beginning of the month, Path of Exile 2 released a new league Dawn Of The Hunt in advance, and at the end of the month, Diablo Season 8 will be launched. Between them, the most eye-catching is undoubtedly the arrival of Last Epoch Season 2 Tombs Of The Erased.
As a MMORPG officially released last year, although Last Epoch is not very perfect in all aspects, it brings you a brand new gaming experience based on its unique game world view. In the new Season 2, the game maintains this tradition and adds a series of new mechanisms related to it to further enrich the endgame content of the game.
These mechanisms are centered on a new faction called The Woven, which brings you many challenges and opportunities to gain new powers by making you believe in Weaver unconditionally. For example, you can add more goodies to Woven Echoes in Monolith of Fate by developing Weaver Tree, making it easier to earn Last Epoch Gold in battle.
Based on this, we will mainly introduce you to the relevant information of Woven Echoes so that you can use it to your advantage after fully understanding this new mechanism.
In more popular terms, Woven Echoes are like a general term for those smaller tasks, each of which can be inserted into your Monolith of Fate timeline as a project. Different Woven Echoes represent different challenges with different rewards.
In Season 2, to insert Woven Echoes to complete the corresponding tasks, you first need to erase a Cemetery of the Erased - this is your own Echo type that will appear in the timeline. After that, go to the end of the cemetery to activate Altar to the Weaver, which will list your exclusive timeline, and then you can insert all your Woven Echoes to add them as explorable Echoes. Each time you complete a Woven Echoes for the first time, you will earn one point for Weaver Tree.
There are currently two ways to get Woven Echoes in Last Epoch Season 2. The mainstream method is to go to Silk Haven to find Masque and exchange your existing Memory Amber directly for Woven Echoes. The stock of Woven Echoes that Masque can provide depends on your ranking in The Woven - the higher the ranking, the more Woven Echoes.
Memory Amber is a special currency that only applies to The Woven system. Its main function is to exchange Woven Echoes and increase your The Woven reputation ranks. You can farm it by completing the corresponding quests or dungeons in Season 2.
Another way to get Woven Echoes is to kill enemies in Cemeteries and Tombs of the Erased through quests and challenges, as well as random enemies outside of these dungeons. The advantage of this method is that it is more direct and saves more Memory Amber, but the disadvantage is that you cannot get a specific Woven Echo.
It is worth noting that if you can unlock certain nodes in Weaver Tree, the corresponding sources will have a higher chance of dropping Woven Echoes for you. For example, unlocking Necropolis of the Weaver node will allow you to get more Woven Echoes after killing rare enemies in Tombs and Cemeteries.
There are 36 Woven Echoes to collect in Last Epoch Season 2, each with its own unique challenges and rewards. In order to improve your collection efficiency, we have listed the ones worth completing first:
If you haven’t started collecting Woven Echoes yet, be sure to follow the information we provide as soon as possible, which will be useful for you to complete Last Epoch Season 2 endgame!
Cornerstone Captains system in MLB The Show 24 can improve the strength of players with lower total ratings. In MLB The Show 25, this system has been changed to Cornerstone Evolution. Even ordinary cards have a chance to be evolved.
Cornerstone Evolution and FC series player evolutions sound similar, but they are actually very different. You can think of these evolution as a small battle pass, which will provide MLB The Show 25 packs and stubs, and the latter reward of Cornerstone Evolution is the player’s Cornerstone card.
Cornerstone Evolution usually appears in Inning Program. The current one is 2nd Inning Program. The players that can be evolved are:
The players who can be evolved are all 80 OVR, and their Cornerstone cards are all 87 OVR.
In addition, in 1st Inning Program in March, the cards that can be evolved are:
These cards are originally 79 OVR, and the evolved cards are 85 OVR.
Currently, the cards that can be evolved can only be done in the corresponding Inning Program. If you missed their Cornerstone Evolution, you can’t evolve them again.
Complete five moments (25 points - 5 points each)
80 OVR Tony Clark Missions:
Stat Missions:
80 OVR Tony Clark is a 2nd Inning XP Path reward that cannot be obtained through MLB The Show 25 Stubs trade. Tony Clark is a first baseman with 6 Quirks, while 87 OVR Cornerstone Tony Clark has a boost in hitting, making him a good switch-hitter.
80 OVR Tony Clark is a Veteran hitter, and you can also choose 84 OVR Rafael Palmeiro and 79 OVR Adam Dunn, 87 OVR Gary Sheffield.
Complete five moments (25 points - 5 points each)
80 OVR J.D. Martinez Missions:
Stat Missions:
80 OVR J.D. Martinez is also from 2nd Inning XP Path. He is a Tigers left fielder who evolves into a Red Sox player. 87 OVR J.D. Martinez is a very good hitter, but his vision attribute is low.
Contributor series has many good hitters, such as 88 OVR Adrian Beltre, who now needs about 40,000 stubs, 87 OVR Terry Pendleton and 88 OVR Mike Napoli. They can all help you complete Stat Missions effectively.
Complete five moments (25 points - 5 points each)
80 OVR Bruce Sutter Missions:
Stat Missions:
80 OVR Bruce Sutter is a Cardinals closer from Veteran Series, while 87 OVR Bruce Sutter is a Cubs pitcher. The evolved Bruce Sutter has all his pitching attributes improved, making this card the ninth-best player pitcher currently.
To complete Stat Missions, you need a Veteran Series pitcher. Besides 80 OVR Bruce Sutter, you can also choose 79 OVR Joe Kelly, 86 OVR Liam Hendriks, and 90 OVR Johan Santana.
Once 2nd Inning Program ends, you can no longer obtain these three Cornerstone cards, so it is recommended that you complete these missions as quickly as possible. Among them, 87 OVR Bruce Sutter is the most valuable card in my opinion.
With the update of Last Epoch Season 2, some new content has been added to the game, and many classes have been adjusted. It’s time to start a new journey! If you are really looking for a build that can make you play the game easily, Skeletal Necromancer endgame build is a build that can make you have a good time in the game.
This build mainly relies on summons and ice spells. It can increase damage by providing amplification for the summons. It is very efficient in killing monsters and farming gold. And this build is not very dependent on equipment, but good equipment can make its damage reach a higher level.
Pros
Cons
This build is an endgame build, so it is assumed that you have reached level 70. The following skills are required for the build:
This skill is a core skill, and your other skills mainly rely on improving this skill to build. You need Archmage to allow you to summon a skeleton mage and then use Frost Lich to ensure that you summon an ice mage.
The following are the nodes required for this skill:
Dread Shade is also a skill to enhance Summon Skeletal Mage. After activating this skill, your summons will lose a certain amount of health per second, but the damage will be increased.
The following are the nodes required for this skill:
Infernal Shade can provide buffs to Summon Skeletal Mage, increasing the casting speed and movement speed of Skeletal Mage, and can also reduce the cooldown of Summon Skeletal Mage.
The following are the nodes required for this skill:
Chaos Bolts can cause area damage and also add new power to Skeletal Mage. Revolution node can increase the damage and casting speed of Skeletal Mage.
The following are the nodes required for this skill:
Transplant is the ultimate skill, which consumes 13% of health to release, and can create an explosion that causes physical damage to surrounding enemies.
The following are the nodes required for this skill:
The above are the general skills required for Skeletal Necromancer endgame build. If you think there is a better skill combination, you can use Last Epoch Gold to reset the skills and add more points.
This build does not rely heavily on legendary items and unique items, but good equipment can increase your tolerance. The following are some equipment suitable for this build:
Most of the above items are unique items. If conditions permit, you can upgrade them to legendary equipment. Some of them are dropped through echo rewards, but the chance is not high. You can wait until you have enough gold before trying to change your equipment.
Before you get these equipments, you can use normal equipment instead. Here are some useful affixes:
Offensive Affixes
Defensive Affixes
Although this build is simple to play, it does not mean that you don’t need to operate. After you summon Skeletal Mage, you still need to release other skills to provide it with buffs.
The general way to use the skills is as follows:
When you are farming the map, don’t let Skeletal Mage leave you too far, let it clean up the monsters around, and use Transplant to escape when necessary.
When you are dealing with the boss, leave all the offensive tasks to Skeletal Mage, and you only need to focus on avoiding the boss’s attacks. Use Transplant to avoid the boss’s attacks when you can’t avoid them.
The above are the skills required for Skeletal Necromancer endgame build. It requires almost no operation, but it can still clean up monsters and minions very efficiently. It is the best choice for lazy-man players.
