Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Reveals Season 2 on 115 Day | New Zombies Maps, Modes, and Major Updates

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 2 will launch on February 5th. The developers released key details for this season on January 15th, including a new Zombies mode and brand-new maps.

Jan 16, 2026 Author: EZG

January 15th has arrived once again, and for veteran Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 players who have experienced Zombies, this is 115 Day! On this day, the developers finally unveiled the mystery of Black Ops 7 Season 2, announcing some important new content for the new season.

It’s worth noting that BO7’s Season 1 didn’t receive very good reviews. Poor single-player mode and unbalanced matchmaking in multiplayer mode, among other issues, forced many loyal players to switch to other similar FPS games. Therefore, following the release of Reloaded last week, the developers began working intensively on the new content for Season 2 and fixing some long-standing bugs, hoping to turn things around.Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Reveals Season 2 on 115 Day | New Zombies Maps, Modes, and Major Updates

In the latest preview of Season 2 content, the developers will prepare a completely new Zombies experience for players. To keep players engaged, Black Ops 7 will also introduce a new survival map, weekly challenges, and new game modes.

New Content

Astra Malorum map will be the first of five turn-based maps in Season 2. In this map, players will engage in a zombie boss battle within a temple set against a Martian backdrop. The game mode, called Mars Survival, will see player squads continue their fight against O.S.C.A.R., completing a series of milestone missions to earn Caltheris-inspired rewards.

This map is arguably one of the unique zombie boss arenas in Call of Duty series. O.S.C.A.R., featured in a Season 1 Easter egg mission, possesses formidable attack power and is virtually immortal. Therefore, it’s easy to predict how rich and expansive the last mission of this map will be. We eagerly anticipate the intense clashes between players and this boss in the new season.

If you want to quickly complete missions and defeat O.S.C.A.R. in Season 2, you can buy CoD Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies from EZG.com to quickly upgrade your weapons and improve your monster-hunting skills.

Regarding weapons, players will obtain LGM-1 Wonder Weapon in Mystery Box. The developers also revealed that each map’s Mystery Box in Season 2 will contain Sturmwolf 45 SMG and Hawker HX Sniper Rifle, and promised to add new weapons with each major season launch and Reloaded release.

Furthermore, Black Ops 7’s Zombies mode will feature the new permanent Cursed Survival gameplay. This mode will launch with four maps: Vandon Farm, Exit 115, Zarya Cosmodrome, and Mars, with more maps to be added later.Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Astra Malorum

In Cursed Survival, players will face even more severe survival challenges: starting with only one pistol, limited HUD display, and only a limited number of Relics, they must withstand wave after wave of zombie attacks. This mode also adopts a best-of-three (BO3) scoring system, which is expected to be very popular with players.

After completing 100 rounds on any map in Cursed Survival, players will receive XP bonuses, more GobbleGums, and a brand-new Relic-based cosmetic item. The item is rumored to be a golden fork that can be attached to a weapon.Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Starting Room Zombies

Also, Black Ops 7 Season 2 will permanently add Starting Room Zombies mode. In this mode, players will be trapped in the starting areas of Ashes of the Damned or Astra Malorum, facing a pure survival challenge with limited resources. This mode was highly praised in Season 1, and its performance in Season 2 is highly anticipated.

Fixes and Optimizations

In addition to adding new maps and game modes, the developers have also made several fixes. In Season 2, players who obtain Full Power boosters will have a reduced cost for their next battleground upgrade, but it will not be lower than the initial cost.

Furthermore, the developers have listened to player feedback and will add separate toggles for badges and notifications in the interface settings. In addition, they plan to add a new user interface setting in a future update to toggle the display or hiding of the loot pickup widget, convenient for players who don’t need to view loot information.

Quad Feed

To celebrate 115 Day, the developers will also be launching a Quad Feed over the next five days to help players earn many rewards and weapon levels, preparing for the upcoming Season 2. This includes the following:

  • 2X GobbleGum Earn Rate
  • 2X Level XP
  • 2X Weapon XP
  • 2X Battle Pass XP

This event is currently underway and will end on January 20, 2026.

This concludes the currently known content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2. It seems that Season 2’s playability is significantly improved compared to Season 1, indicating that the developers are putting effort into polishing the game.

However, the developers haven’t yet addressed the long-criticized single-player mode and weapon optimizations. A detailed video introducing Season 2, expected to be released next week, will probably provide some answers. Hopefully, players will see positive changes in the game in the new season.

Finally, happy 115 Day to all Black Ops 7 Zombies players!

Diablo 4 Season 11 Tower Review: A Fresh Endgame or Just The Pit 2.0?

Diablo 4 Season 11 introduced Tower content, and players have been enthusiastically trying it out and striving to climb the leaderboards.

This new endgame system has elicited polarized reactions from players. Some embraced it, while others felt it was merely a rehash of the already tiresome The Pit.

Therefore, we'll delve into Tower mechanics, comparing it to The Pit and highlighting areas for improvement.

What exactly is Tower?

Tower is a brand-new endgame system introduced in Season 11, allowing players to engage in a series of increasingly difficult battles. Players must defeat enemies to fill a progress bar before finally challenging the boss.

Tower provides a platform for players to test the strength of their character builds in a more structured and competitive environment. While there are still many areas for improvement, the recent update has enabled gameplay and leaderboards.

However, it's currently in Beta, and the system doesn't include loot rewards yet, but promises cosmetic rewards for top players, especially the top 1% on the leaderboard. Therefore, Tower currently focuses more on competitive gameplay and character build optimization.

Advantages and Disadvantages

After playing Tower for a while, this endgame mode has its highlights, but also some shortcomings.

Advantages:

  • Competitive Build Testing: Allows players to test their character builds and evaluate their performance in endgame content;
  • Rich Tiles and Map Layout: Features unique visual effects and monster distribution, making the game experience fresher;
  • Introduction of Pylon Mechanism: Players can activate Pylon to gain temporary buffs;
  • Leaderboards: The introduction of leaderboards brings sufficient competitiveness to the game.

Disadvantages:

  • Lack of Rewards: One of the biggest drawbacks of Tower mode is the lack of rewards;
  • Difficulty Imbalance: Players find the difficulty increases dramatically once they reach higher levels, making the challenge seem insurmountable;
  • Monotonous and Boring: While visually rich and varied, the overall experience remains somewhat monotonous and boring.

Differences between The Pit and Tower

At first glance, Diablo 4's Tower seems very similar to The Pit, a popular endgame event that has been a part of the game for a long time.

Both modes focus on defeating waves of enemies before finally challenging a boss. However, there are some subtle differences in design and mechanics.

Visual Design and Map Layout

Tower uses a variety of different tiles and map layouts, providing players with a relatively fresh visual experience compared to the relatively repetitive The Pit.

The monster density in Tower mode also differs from The Pit; veteran players who have spent countless hours in Diablo 4 should notice these differences. The Pit's layout is relatively static, while Tower mode offers a more dynamic experience through its environment and monster placement.

Game Mechanics

The core gameplay of both endgame modes involves players accumulating energy by defeating enemies; reaching a certain peak triggers a boss fight.

However, Tower introduces Pylons, which players can strategically activate to advance the game. These Pylons can boost attributes like attack speed or damage reduction, features absent in The Pit.

Game Objectives

In The Pit, the goal per match is to unlock higher tiers and upgrade Glyphs. In Tower, the goal is to achieve the best possible score within a limited 10-minute time limit to climb the leaderboard.

Rewards and Progression

Currently, Tower mode is still in testing. While the developers plan to release cosmetic rewards later, players haven't yet received any substantial rewards. The Pit, on the other hand, provides rewards based on player progress.

Tower currently offers no rewards; it's purely a test build for ranking, which may lead players to question whether the mode is worth the long-term investment.

Player feedback

A significant number of Diablo 4 players believe that Tower mode is merely an upgraded version of The Pit mode with added features. They think leaderboards could be directly integrated into The Pit mode.

Players have already spent a considerable amount of time in The Pit, leveling up and competing for the best gear. If the developers truly want to completely overhaul the game's endgame system, why not improve the existing The Pit system instead of introducing a completely new mode?

Introducing leaderboards and cosmetic rewards directly into The Pit content would retain the core endgame mechanics while providing players with the competitive rewards they crave.

Of course, this is just the opinion of some players. Perhaps the developers have their own reasons for not simply overhauling The Pit and instead introducing a new mode. After all, it's currently in the testing phase, and the studio is still making adjustments.

Another issue is that Tower seems primarily designed to cater to competitive players, neglecting casual players. This has caused dissatisfaction among many casual players, who haven't found much engagement in this mode.

Some players have expressed feeling they simply can't compete with those well-equipped players, the gear gap resulting in a drastically different gaming experience. This disappoints players who lack the time or resources to farm Mythic gear.

Improvement suggestions

Make Tower unique

Many players complain that the current Tower feels like The Pit with a different name, lacking a theme and unique gameplay, and failing to truly give players the experience of "climbing upwards in a tower."

Perhaps the developers could design a unique map, making each floor more visually distinctive. Combined with visual effects that switch between different floors, the overall structure would feel more like a real "climb," rather than repetitive rooms.

Add substantial rewards

Currently, Tower lacks tangible rewards, leading many players to feel unmotivated, thinking it's just about killing monsters and completing timers.

It's suggested that the developers add fixed rewards, such as Diablo 4 items, experience points, or rare equipment for reaching certain floors, thus incentivizing players to continue challenging themselves.

A more reasonable dynamic mechanism

Currently, Tower's design uses a fixed 10-minute time limit. Some players have requested additional time rewards, such as kill combo bonuses, dynamically adding a small amount of time upon achieving specific goals.

This would allow aggressive and highly skilled plays to receive real immediate rewards, rather than relying solely on the original time pressure.

Overall, Diablo 4 Season 11's Tower mode has brought a sense of novelty to players, but still has many shortcomings. This endgame system still has significant room for improvement, and hopefully, the official release will bring us enough surprises. Stay tuned!

ARC Raiders Remaining Issues and New Map Leaks after Patch 1.11.0

ARC Raiders seems to have had a rough start to the year. It's only January 2026, and numerous issues have already surfaced, from the widely publicized player cheating problem to the recent emergence of map vulnerabilities and cracked versions of the game. These issues threaten the integrity of the game.

Fortunately, the official team has been working diligently to resolve these issues, and patch 1.11.0 was released on January 13th to fix some vulnerabilities. However, some problems remain unresolved, and the studio is still adjusting the game's balance.

Therefore, based on the previously updated patch 1.11.0, I will discuss the issues that ARC Raiders developers still need to address and potential future updates.

Issues

1. Cheating and Vulnerability Fixes

One of the most pressing concerns for ARC Raiders players remains the increasingly rampant cheating and vulnerability exploitation in the game.

The recent unbanning of popular streamer Tfue has sparked widespread criticism from players regarding the developers' handling of cheating accusations. Many players questioned whether the official stance on streamer cheating was too lenient.

While Patch 1.11.0 resolved Keycard Exploit issue, the most significant boundary-crossing vulnerabilities remain, particularly on Damn Battlegrounds and Stella Montis maps, where many players continue to exploit these vulnerabilities for unfair advantages.

Therefore, cheating and vulnerabilities remain a key focus for the developers. It is hoped that the next update to ARC Raiders will strengthen anti-cheat measures, find a long-term solution, and develop a more robust cheat detection system.

2. Fixing Cracked Versions

Around the time of Patch 1.11.0's release, cracked versions of ARC Raiders suddenly appeared online and spread rapidly.

These pirated versions allowed players to bypass the game's security measures, enabling them to play without restrictions and without fear of being banned. This is a serious problem because cheaters using these hacked versions can easily switch between different accounts without any consequences.

Fortunately, the studio has noticed the issue and has begun working on a fix. While some may consider hacked versions a minor problem, its impact is far-reaching. It undermines the integrity of the legitimate game, hinders fair competition, and disrupts the overall player experience.

Hopefully, the official team can resolve this issue properly. Currently, they not only have to combat bugs and cheaters but also deal with piracy of the game, which is quite incredible.

3. Trophy and Achievement Issues

Another issue is that some ARC Raiders players are unable to unlock trophies and achievements. They report that despite completing certain game milestones, their achievements and trophies remain locked, which is very frustrating, especially for perfectionists.

However, some players have already contacted ARC Raiders community manager, requesting that they fix the trophy issue. The development team acknowledged the bug and stated that they are actively working on a fix.

New Content

Besides the game balance issues that ARC Raiders needs to address, some new game content has already been leaked.

1. New Map

The only thing that might excite players right now is the leak of a new map. Previously, some players speculated that the new map was Toxic Swamp, but it appeared in next week's Trials, so it's likely not a new map, but rather a new game environment.

According to leaked concept art, the new map seems to be related to a volcano, with some players saying the map's name is Volcano Rise. If you look closely, you'll find a crater on the actual game map.

In the leaked concept art, we can also see a crater on the right side, very similar. Perhaps this is just a coincidence, but you can also see a steep mountain in the background, making me quite inclined to believe the new map is indeed a volcano.

This new map should provide players with new areas to explore and exciting new combat opportunities. If the leak is true, this will be a major update for ARC Raiders, bringing players entirely new terrain and challenges.

2. Weapon Changes

In a recent interview with Virgil Watkins, Design Director at ARC Raiders, he shared insights on weapon balance, stating that the goal of weapon balance in the game is to ensure that no weapon is overpowered and that each weapon offers a unique advantage depending on the situation.

One issue many players have previously pointed out is the performance of high-tier weapons. Some players feel that high-tier weapons like Tempest and Bobcat don't offer a significant advantage over lower-tier weapons like Stitcher.

In this interview, Virgil also highlighted these two weapons, stating that if player feedback is underestimated, adjustments are needed.

Therefore, we can reasonably speculate that Tempest and Bobcat might be buffed in the next update, or perhaps more weapons will receive buffs. In my opinion, Tempest is currently fine, but Bobcat needs a slight increase in magazine capacity.

If all goes well, and the weapon balance adjustments in ARC Raiders are successful, we may see changes to the tiers or performance of some weapons, providing players with more opportunities to experiment with different equipment combinations.

Overall, whether fixing existing issues or developing new content, the studio has consistently moved forward, with developers eager to create a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for all players. While updates may sometimes seem slow, the team is always working behind the scenes to find new solutions.

Perhaps we can wait patiently and look forward to the next ARC Raiders update bringing us even more exciting content.

Why Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Is Losing Players Fast? | Sales Slump, Competition, and a Series at Risk

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was highly anticipated when it launched in November 2025, especially after the positive reception of previous installments like Black Ops 6. However, unfortunately, players were dissatisfied with the game, resulting in an unprecedented sales slump.

This is undoubtedly a heavy blow to CoD series, which had consistently ranked among the top FPS games for the past few years. This sudden decline provides an opportunity for competing titles in the same genre.

Especially with ARC Raiders currently enjoying great success, players who migrate to other games may not return. If the upcoming season cannot reverse the downward trend, it is predictable that the series will continue to lose players, leading to a bleak future.

Current Data

Less than three months after its release, CoD BO7's performance is far inferior to previous installments. As of now, its 24-hour peak is only 38,974 players, and it has fallen to 38th place on Steam charts, a stark contrast to the series' previous peak of 500,000 concurrent players.

Furthermore, compared to similar games, it's significantly weaker. For example, ARC Raider's peak 24-hour player count was 336,175, ranking 4th on Steam charts. Battlefield 6's peak 24-hour player count was 85,082. Even during the Christmas and New Year holiday gaming peak, the number of players for the series, including Black Ops 6/7, declined. In such a competitive market, Black Ops 7's prospects are truly worrying.

Besides the gaming platform, console sales are also dismal. The developers of Black Ops 7 pointed out that console sales are currently at an all-time low. According to available information, Xbox sales alone have dropped by 70%, making 2025 the company's worst year on record.

Why is this?

According to the developers, the sharp decline in sales is because of fierce competition from titles like Battlefield 6, but it's clearly not just that. Besides the fact that similar games have divided some players, Black Ops 7's content itself also has significant problems.

For example, the lack of a single-player mode and the large amount of AI-generated content have caused many players to lose interest in the game. The overwhelmingly negative reviews on social media have further deterred many players.

It's worth noting that Call of Duty series has long been a must-play for FPS games. However, the gaming industry is constantly evolving; today's hit game may be tomorrow's history. The unchanging gameplay has already bored players, while games like Battlefield 6 offer realistic environments and immersive gunfights, something Black Ops 7 and its Zombies mode cannot match.

Furthermore, the developers' constant use of old maps to try to evoke nostalgia feels perfunctory. Leaving aside whether these maps are even compatible with the pace of modern gaming, this nostalgia tactic might be acceptable once or twice, but consistently using inferior content instead of focusing on developing new maps and modes only makes it seem like the developers have run out of ideas, and playing this game is a waste of time.

Not to mention the numerous poorly made AI scenes throughout the game. This not-so-cheap AAA title blatantly presents players with greasy-looking AI graphics, which is a real waste of the time and effort players have invested.

While ARC Raider, another FPS game, also features AI enemies and other AI assistance, it never presents AI creations directly to players in such an open manner. There are only two explanations for this behavior: either the game's artists went on strike, or the developers think players are clueless about art - either way, it's quite absurd.

Fans have been exceptionally harsh in their reviews of this game, with a large number of negative reviews causing its user rating on player platforms to plummet to the lowest in the series. As a result, well-received new titles like ARC Raiders have attracted the attention of most players, drawing potential new players away from Call of Duty series.

Furthermore, free-to-play shooters like Marvel's Rivals and Fortnite have further eroded the game’s potential player base, especially those dissatisfied with Black Ops 7's high price and numerous limitations. While Black Ops 7 was one of the best-selling games of 2025, its sales were far lower than Black Ops 6, clearly reflecting misunderstanding between the game and its target audience.

The failure of Black Ops 7 will undoubtedly increase the pressure on all game developers, especially for a major title from a well-known series. To make matters worse, the next season is expected to compete with the new season of Battlefield 6.

However, based on currently available information, Black Ops 7 Season 2 will have a much larger content volume than Season 1, including new zombie maps and ranked modes, making it highly anticipated.

Given the superior standards that most AAA games face today, mishaps in Black Ops series could be more damaging than ever, as they could ultimately affect the series' fate: whether to continue, innovate, or end it altogether.

Hopefully, Black Ops 7 Season 2 will fully respect player feedback, showing less perfunctoriness and more sincerity. Only then will lost players gradually return.

ARC Raiders January Update 1.11.0 Brings Major Weapon Nerfs and Bug Fixes | Here's What Changed

Amidst the anticipation of all players, ARC Raiders has released its latest update: January Update 1.11.0, which significantly weakens two currently dominant weapons, fixes a bug, and addresses a visual issue. Not only that, the developers have prepared two cosmetic items for all players to claim.

After the patch was released, all players were excited because they had been suffering from the cheating methods used by some players and the excessive damage of some weapons, and desperately needed this extreme nerf. Of course, there is also a lot of anticipation for the third major update that will be released soon.

These topics have sparked a lot of discussion in various player communities and social media. Have you participated? If not, or have missed it, don't worry, because EZG.com, as your most loyal game assistant, will help you gather all the details and comments about Arc Raiders 1.11.0 patch.

Kettle Nerf

First, let's look at the most controversial changes to Kettle weapon: the rate of fire has been reduced from 600 to 450, which is mainly to counteract the competitive imbalance caused by some players using macro commands to exceed the rate of fire limit.

Although the rate of fire doesn't appear to be significantly reduced based on the figures provided by the developers - it wasn't directly halved - feelings from some players' tests indicate that the firing lag is much more pronounced than before, and even automatic weapons are not immune to this nerf.

Trigger 'Nade Nerf

Compared to the reasons for Kettle's nerf, the reason for Trigger 'Nade's nerf is very simple: it was too strong in PvP, causing players to only choose this grenade instead of other types. In view of this, the developers have greatly reduced its practicality as a grenade that can detonate in the air to cause massive damage, but its effectiveness as a sticky bomb remains unchanged.

The specific changes to this Nade include: some adjustments to the Damage falloff - damage is higher near the center of the explosion and lower at a distance; and the detonation delay for this weapon option has been increased from 0.7 seconds to 1.5 seconds, giving players more reaction time while also increasing the difficulty of detonating it in the air.

This will make future players less afraid of opponents using Trigger 'Nade' in PvP, and they can compete with it using other Arc Raiders items, such as Smoke Grenade or Seeker Grenade. Of course, if you are the wielder of this weapon, you will need to further refine the accuracy of your throwing and explosion event calculations.

Keycard Exploit Fixed

In previous gameplay, some players discovered that by disconnecting and reconnecting to the network, Keycards wouldn't disappear after use but would remain in their inventory.

This gave them more opportunities to endlessly farm high-drop-rate locations, significantly disrupting the game's balance. Due to the high level of discussion within the community, the developers took action.

According to Update 1.11.0, the developers have fixed this bug to restore the best balance to all players. However, it must be stated that cheating posts using the same method to duplicate key cards are now popular again in the community, and the discussion volume is quite high.

Hopefully, ARC Raiders will completely fix these two keycard vulnerabilities before the next major update is released, and impose the strictest bans on players who have used or are currently using these vulnerabilities, as a warning to others.

Visual Resolved

The next patch will reduce the lighting intensity in Stella Montis Night Raid to allow players to focus more on the beams of other players' flashlights and the sounds of their movements. Meanwhile, the sound effects and visuals of the map will be improved.

To be honest, this quality of life improvement is very useful for solo exploration, as any movement around you indicates the presence of enemies; however, for duo or trio exploration, the light and noise emitted by your teammates can become obstacles to your ability to pinpoint enemy locations, so its implementation may require more practice.

New Abyss Cosmetic Set

Having discussed the important gameplay mechanics and the improvements to the in-game quality of life in Arc Raiders, let's take a look at the new cosmetic set that was casually mentioned at the beginning of the patch: Abyss set. Although it was highly anticipated by players, it was actually not very good-looking.

The outdated color scheme and the disharmonious combination of the top and bottom made it a target of criticism, with some players even creating funny and humorous memes based on the outfit in the community. However, what players find most unacceptable is that this game has never offered any extensive customization options, making it completely incomparable to The Finals from the same developer.

Free Raider Tool Skin

Finally, let’s look at some relatively good news: To celebrate the fact that over 12 million players have joined ARC Raiders since its release, the developers have prepared a prestigious Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool skin for all players in this off-season.

If you logged into your game account between the game’s release and 23:59 CET on January 13th, you will automatically receive this tool skin in the game content after this update is released. It is compatible with all platforms, including Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox.

The above is a detailed explanation of all the content included in the current ARC Raiders January Update 1.11.0, as well as players’ opinions on it. Ultimately, the developers are still working on game balance adjustments in this patch, so all players are eagerly anticipating the next major update that will bring even more fresh gameplay content, such as the leaked Toxic Swamp. Enjoy the game!

Diablo 4 Season 11 Leap Quake Barbarian Build | Helping You Quickly Clear Endgame

In Diablo 4 Season 11, when it comes to the fastest character builds in PvP, players often think of Spiritborn and Sorcerer. However, the build I'm about to introduce isn't theirs, but rather Barbarian.

We call this build Frog Leap Quake Barbarian, and it's currently one of the fastest speed-farming builds in Season 11. Especially after optimization, this build's mobility and speed not only rival, but in some situations surpass, Sorcerer, while maintaining Barbarian class's inherent resilience and damage output.

Next, I'll provide a detailed overview of this build and its suitable scenarios.

Core Mechanics

The core of this build lies in the continuous use of Leap ability. Thanks to Season 11 gear changes and the addition of unique pants, Leap has no cooldown.

Therefore, you can freely use this ability on the battlefield, dealing considerable damage with each hit, while also triggering melee and earthquake effects, allowing for instant map traversal and wall vaulting.

Combined with Fury management and Barbarian survival skills and defensive gear, you can continuously use Leap, ignoring enemy control effects and tanking damage. Sometimes you don't even need to use Hammer of the Ancients.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Below are the advantages and disadvantages of this build, which you can use as a reference to decide if it's suitable for you.

Advantages:

  • Extremely fast map movement speed;
  • Almost invincible when properly configured;
  • Excellent AoE clearing ability;
  • Powerful boss damage;
  • Extremely smooth and fun gameplay experience.

Disadvantages:

  • Requires a large amount of Mythic gear to reach its full potential;
  • Feels resource-intensive when gear is insufficient;
  • Requires continuous Fury status to achieve invincibility.

Skill Setup

Core Skills

  • Leap: Continuously used for damage output, movement, and initiating attacks;
  • Hammer of the Ancients: Used against high-level bosses; with sufficient gear affixes, it can deal billions of damage;
  • War Cry: Provides additional damage;
  • Rallying Cry: Increases movement speed;
  • Challenging Shout: Increases health and damage reduction.

Ultimate Skill

For your ultimate skill, you can choose one of the following two:

  • Call of the Ancients: More suitable for novice players, easier to maintain Fury sustain, while providing additional attack speed and stability;
  • Wrath of the Berserker: Offers higher burst damage and faster map clearing speed at higher gear levels.

For most players, I still recommend choosing Hammer of the Ancients as your ultimate skill.

Key Gear

The following is the core gear build for Frog Leap Quake Barbarian:

  • Harlequin Crest (Helm): Provides cooldown reduction and extremely high defense;
  • Mantle of the Mountain’s Fury (Chest): Increases HOTA level, significantly boosting damage;
  • Aspect of Earthquakes (Gloves): Increases HOTA level, damage critical strike chance, and attack speed;
  • Chainscourged Mail (Pants): Core gear, permanently grants Leap ability and provides melee skill bonus;
  • Aspect of Metamorphosis (Boots): Grants a brief Unstoppable state when dodging;
  • Melted Heart of Selig (Amulet): Increases movement speed;
  • Bold Chieftain's Aspect (Ring 1): Reduces Shout ability cooldown;
  • Ring of Starless Skies (Ring 2): Significantly increases attack speed, critical strike chance, and resource acquisition.

Next, here are the weapons needed to build this set:

  • Aspect of Ancestral Force
  • Ramaladni's Magnum Opus
  • The Grandfather
  • Sabre of Tsasgal

Paragon Boards and Glyphs

Paragon attributes are flexible and varied. Here are some highly recommended Paragon Boards and their corresponding Glyphs:

  • Starting Board (Marshal): Reduces cooldowns after shout usage;
  • Carnage (Crusher): Increases damage output;
  • Blood Rage (Challenger): Grants additional bonuses to all normal nodes within range;
  • Weapon Master (Might): Grants additional bonuses to all magic nodes within range, while also increasing weapon damage;
  • Flawless Technique (Warth): Increases critical hit damage from core skills and generates additional Fury.

Mercenary

You need to hire Subo as your main mercenary. You can unlock him by completing A Feather on the Scale Quest. Subo can automatically scout the surrounding area, letting you know where monsters are in advance, thus increasing your farming speed.

For a secondary mercenary, choose Varyana. Unlocked after completing Slayer's Retribution Quest, her role is the opposite of Subo's; she actively charges into battle to help you farm monsters, making you faster and more powerful.

Suitable Scenarios for this Build

This build isn't designed for beginners leveling up, but rather a fast late-game farming build. Its power increases as you acquire Mythic uniques throughout the game.

You can use Frog Leap Quake Barbarian in the following combat scenarios:

  • Torment 4 speed farming
  • Helltides
  • Whispers Quest
  • Dungeon blasting
  • The Pit

If you need to challenge The Pit at level 120 and above, it's best to equip Melted Heart of Selig, which acts like a mana shield, converting damage taken into resource deduction. You can use it to significantly increase your defense in endgame content.

Leap Quake Barbarian is also suitable for farming the lower levels of The Tower in Diablo 4, but adjustments will be needed if you want to challenge higher levels.

This concludes the detailed information on Speed Barbarian build in Diablo 4 Season 11. If you're tired of slow-paced classes or want a truly powerful build, then Leap Quake Barbarian is definitely the ideal choice.

It's not only efficient but also incredibly fun; I'm sure you'll love it!

ARC Raiders Expedition 2 Is Coming | What You Must Collect Before You Reset Everything

The next round of ARC Raiders' Expedition is scheduled to begin on February 17th this year. Players level 20 and above can participate, and upon completion, you will receive additional skill points and exclusive rewards.

However, participating in this event means giving up your current level and quest progress, including blueprints and valuable weapons you've collected. Completing an Expedition will grant your character permanent rewards and temporary advantages that last until the next expedition. So it's still worth a try.

This guide will introduce the current participation requirements for Expedition 2 and how to obtain the required items.

Participation Requirements

Before participating in Expedition, you need to collect the necessary items to be eligible to enter.

It's important to note that if you have never participated in an Expedition or have not completed the first phase, you will still be in Expedition 1. You need to collect all Expedition 1 items to start Expedition 2.

In addition, most items collected in Expedition cannot be obtained through crafting or recycling. Therefore, players must leave Speranza and search for these items in specific areas. Similar to the previous Expedition mission, this time players need to complete five phases of collection, but the developers have changed several key items and focused the search area on Stella Montis.

Phase 1

This phase mainly guides players to develop basic recycling and trading habits with merchants. The specific ARC Raiders items required are as follows:

  • Metal Parts x150
  • Plastic Parts x200
  • ARC Alloy x80
  • Steel Springs x15

Phase 1 will use items you find throughout the game. Metal Parts and Plastic Parts can be obtained through scavenging, as well as from abandoned cabinets, metal crates, and car engines. If you can't find them, you can trade with Celeste using seeds or obtain them from Scrappy.

The easiest way to obtain ARC Alloy is to attack any ARC Enemies in ARC Raiders. They have a very high chance of dropping ARC Alloy after being defeated, allowing you to acquire a large quantity of this item in a short time.

Phase 2

Phase 2 differs from Expedition 1. In this phase, players need to collect Cooling Coils instead of Cooling Fans. Because the collected items are heavier, it's recommended to travel light and avoid carrying heavy weapons to prevent affecting speed and stamina. Here are the items you'll need for this phase:

  • Durable Cloth x35
  • Wires x25
  • Electrical Components x20
  • Cooling Coils x4

Durable Cloth and Wires are common; you'll usually find them in residential areas, offices, and industrial areas. The best map to search for Electrical Components is Dam Battlegrounds; you can also craft them in Refiner using Plastic Parts x8 and Rubber Parts x4.

Cooling Coils are the hardest to collect. They are usually found in lockers and industrial containers, and their drop rate is higher during Night Raids, which is when you can search for them.

Phase 3

The third phase is no longer simply about collecting items. In this phase, you'll need to explore various maps in ARC Raiders to find Exodus loot points. Here are the items you'll need for this phase:

  • Light Bulbs x4
  • Batteries x30
  • Shredder Gyros x10
  • Exodus Module x1 (Exodus)

Dam Battlegrounds has a fixed car spawn point containing two Light Bulbs. Go early to avoid others taking them first. Battery drops are random; you can exchange 5 seeds for 10 Batteries daily from Celeste.

Shredder Gyros only appear in Shredders. You must destroy and loot them to obtain the items you want. Shredders are extremely powerful, so always fight from behind cover.

Exodus Modules only exist in Exodus loot points. They may appear in Spaceports, but the most efficient place to obtain them is the Assembly in Stella Montis.

Phase 4

Workshop on Stella Montis is the core location of Phase 4. Here, you can recraft your acquired common items and Exodus Modules into the items you need. The following items are required for this phase:

  • Frequency Modulation Boxes x5 (Exodus)
  • Advanced Electrical Component x5
  • Ion Sputters x3 (Exodus)
  • Leaper Pulse Units x3

You'll need to find and destroy Leapers to obtain these Ion Sputters. They are quite common in maps like Spaceport and Dam Battlegrounds; a few Blaze Grenades can easily destroy them.

Phase 5

The final phase requires you to sell your items and earn coins. Here are the types of items you need to sell and the number of coins required:

  • Sell 200,000 coins worth of Combat Items
  • Sell 100,000 coins worth of Survival Items
  • Sell 150,000 coins worth of Provisions
  • Sell 300,000 coins worth of Materials

Once you have completed all five phases, you are eligible to participate in Expedition. If you decide not to participate, your current Expedition phase and all completed steps will remain unchanged, allowing you to change your plans at any time.

Other

In addition to introducing the five phases of Expedition 2, this guide provides a suggestedExodus item search route for your reference.

Step 1

Enter Stella Montis and equip a custom loadout with a Safe Pocket to ensure your loot isn't stolen by other invaders. Also, prioritize increasing your movement speed and stamina in your build.

Step 2

If you respawn near Workshop, that's ideal. If not, use Adrenaline Shots to quickly reach your destination and start searching every container.

Step 3

Prioritize searching closed chests, drawers, and cabinets. Key Expedition items such as Exodus Modules, Frequency Modulation Boxes, and Ion Sputters should be placed in the standard search area.

Step 4

Put your highest-value Exodus item into Safe Pocket first, then collect as many other items as possible. Sell any extra items to prepare for Phase Five.

That's all the currently known information and strategies for Expedition 2. Many players have already collected all the items and are ready to enter Expedition. We look forward to your joining us!
