Diablo 4 Season 14 Endgame Loop Explained: Farm Superior Lair Keys Like a Pro

What changes did Season 14 of Death Awakening bring to items? | Mythic Uniques 3.0

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, which launched on June 30, 2026, Mythic Uniques underwent a radical change - it's no longer a rarity, but a craftable item attribute.

This means that after Patch 3.1.0, all Uniques in Diablo 4 can acquire the Mythic attribute through the Horadric Cube or the Jeweler, gaining approximately a 30% increase in Unique Power.

So, has the value of existing Mythic Uniques decreased? Of course not. They will exist in D4 Season 14 and subsequent seasons as the more prestigious Iconic Mythic Items.

While crafted Mythic Uniques and Iconic Mythic Items cannot be directly traded between players, EZG.com offers professional boosting service for crafting or farming Mythic Uniques.

By teaming up with our professional players and providing the corresponding crafting materials/Lair Bosses Keys, you can easily acquire high-value gear and effortlessly explore Season 14!

Runes & Runewords in D4 Lord of Hatred DLC

In Diablo 4 1st expansion, runes are items that can be placed in a dual-slot system, consisting of a Rune of Ritual and a Rune of Invocation. These runes combine to form Runewords, which interact to provide corresponding buffs.

These specific items are among the loot you receive upon your first successful challenge of a campaign boss. Alternatively, you can craft a random rune from excess runes at Jeweler, a process that costs 4,000 gold.

To obtain a specific rune, you can disenchant items that already contained runes at Jeweler, but this is extremely expensive and generally not considered a reliable source. In view of this, you can buy directly from EZG.com, where you can find a wide variety of runes at affordable prices, making it your ideal choice.

However, it's important to note that only players who own Vessel of Hatred DLC or Lord of Hatred expansion can properly enjoy Runes deliveries.

Get all useful Diablo 4 S14 Talismans ready from EZG.com to quickly create the best build!

As Diablo 4 Season 14 (Season of Death Awakening) comes to a close and Season 14 approaches, the existing item system has undergone a significant leap forward. A new feature has been added to the item slots placed on character builds: Talismans. These slots can hold Seals and Charms to enhance existing affixes and powers.

Like regular buff-providing items, the higher the rarity of a Seal, the greater its effectiveness, the more affixes it contains, and the more Charm slots it provides, thus enabling the build to progress faster in the game. Unfortunately, not all Talismans have a high drop rate.

In situations where farming is the only way to obtain low- to medium-quality items, EZG.com will save you from this predicament. It offers a huge selection of Diablo 4 Talismans for sale, with various affixes and abilities. Most importantly, we ship quickly and will never slow you down.

Buy D4 Horadric Gems from EZG.com for Quick Endgame Exploration!

With the release of Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred expansion, numerous new endgame events and features have been added to the already saturated game content. Among them, the return of Horadric Cube has delighted all players, as it further deepens the item crafting system throughout the game.

This feature allows you to create a type of item called Horadric Gems, which can be socketed into weapons or other build options. These are divided into Horadric Gems and Flawless Horadric Gems, granting you a fixed damage multiplier and making the game's endgame meta more geared towards specific elemental builds.

  • Amethyst: Shadow Damage Multiplier.
  • Emerald: Poison Damage Multiplier.
  • Ruby: Fire and Holy Damage Multiplier.
  • Sapphire: Cold Damage Multiplier.
  • Topaz: Lightning Damage Multiplier.
  • Skull: Physical Damage Multiplier.
  • Diamond: All Damage Multiplier.

Unlike regular socketable items, Horadric Gems cannot be obtained through normal drops. Instead, they must be crafted using a specific Amalgamation Recipe within Horadric Cube. Therefore, they are generally more difficult to obtain than regular Gems and Jewelry. If you want to speed up your endgame progress, you might want to visit EZG.com.

We have a very large selection of Horadric Gems and Flawless Horadric Gems for sale, with plenty of options available; shipping is extremely fast, so it won't delay your gameplay; they're very affordable, definitely worth comparing prices from other vendors; and they're completely safe, with no possibility of being banned.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Demon Hunter and Fresh Start: What Could Blizzard Reveal at BlizzCon 2026?

Diablo 4 Season 15 Demon Hunter and Fresh Start: What Could Blizzard Reveal at BlizzCon 2026?

Diablo 4 has clearly stated that what players see on PTR is only a part of Season 15, and the rest will be revealed at BlizzCon 2026 on September 12-13. The community has also begun re-examining unexplained details in the game, trying to find out what Blizzard is still hiding.

Two of the most attention-grabbing directions are Demon Hunter and Fresh Start. The former stems from the sudden appearance of Hand Crossbow in the game data, while the latter is directly related to Rebirth introduced in Season 15.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Demon Hunter and Fresh Start: What Could Blizzard Reveal at BlizzCon 2026?

Next, EZG.com will take you through these two discussions closely related to Diablo 4 Season 15, what clues are worth noting, and whether they might actually be answered at BlizzCon.

Demon Hunter

Crossbows have appeared in Diablo 4 loot filter data. However, this weapon is currently neither equipable nor obtainable normally, so it's impossible to use it to kill demons in Sanctuary. The community quickly began speculating whether it corresponded to some unannounced event, with Demon Hunter being the most popular answer.

The reason isn't hard to understand. Players familiar with Diablo 3 know that hand crossbow is practically one of Demon Hunter's signature weapons. Dual-wielding crossbows, ranged firepower, high mobility, and skills like Sentry and Trap all contribute to the class's classic gameplay.

Moreover, Diablo 4 Season 15 itself already brought obvious nostalgia elements, adding nine Legacy Uniques to the new season, including Leoric's Crown, Nemesis Bracers, Stone of Jordan, Squirt's Blouse, Arioc's Needle, Henri's Perquisition, In-Geom, The Furnace, and Messerschmidt's Reaver.

If the official plan is to announce a classic Diablo 3 class at BlizzCon, Demon Hunter is undoubtedly the most likely choice to generate discussion.

The recently announced collaboration with The Witcher has added further fuel to this speculation. Geralt did indeed use Crossbow in The Witcher 3, and Blizzard has already announced Diablo 4 cosmetic related to Geralt. Coincidentally, Blizzard and CD Projekt Red have indicated that their collaboration will bring more information at BlizzCon.

However, the real issue is that Rogue has already taken up some design space for Demon Hunter. Rogue can use Bow and Crossbow, and possesses ranged attacks, traps, shadow abilities, and high mobility. If Demon Hunter is simply another Dexterity ranged class, it could easily become another version of Rogue.

Therefore, if Diablo 4 Season 15 is to truly incorporate Demon Hunter, it must establish a core gameplay mechanic absent from Rogue. Sentry, Turrets, sustained ranged firepower, and large-scale Projectile Damage are all natural directions.

Especially Sentry; if it becomes a core mechanic in Demon Hunter, allowing you to continuously output damage and control the battlefield by deploying mechanical devices, it will differentiate it from Rogue.

Of course, Hand Crossbow might be an early clue to Demon Hunter, or it might just be part of a future Rogue weapon expansion, or even simply abandoned development content. It's too early to consider it evidence of Demon Hunter before the official announcement of Season 15.

Fresh Start

Another noteworthy discussion in Diablo 4 Season 15 is Fresh Start. The most appealing aspect of Diablo comes from the progression process during the early stages. The first usable Rare item, the first Legendary item that truly changes your build, and the gold you accumulate at the beginning will all become valuable again in a completely new Progression Environment.

However, once an account has accumulated resources over many years, ordinary equipment quickly loses its value. Seasons are the most mature reset mechanism in Diablo 4, but they have a fixed cycle. If you suddenly want to relive the early game experience a month after the start of a season, you have to wait for the next season.

Diablo 4 Season 15 Fresh Start

Diablo 4 Season 15 Rebirth allows you to bring your existing Eternal Character into Seasonal Realm, retaining class, name, appearance, and other character attributes, and then restarting your Seasonal Progression from Level 1.

This design further blurs the lines between Seasonal and Eternal; character identity can continue, but progress can be restarted. Since Season 15 already allows players to actively reset character progress, why can't Eternal Realm provide a true fresh start?

Currently, when we create a new Eternal Character, it still exists within a Realm environment that has been developed over many years. Diablo 4 Items, gold, and other realm progressions already exist. You can, of course, choose not to use these resources, but the game system doesn't truly isolate them.

Diablo 4 Season 14 SSF also offers a possible solution. SSF characters have independent stash, paragon, and progression pools, indicating that Blizzard can create relatively independent progression environments for characters.

Changing Fresh Start Eternal is quite simple; you just need a truly independent character progression. The simplest solution is to add a No Inheritance option during character creation. Once selected, the character starts at Level 1 and cannot inherit existing Gold, Materials, Stash, or Realm Progression.

Currently, Diablo 4 has not announced such a mode. For Season 15, Fresh Start remains a community-proposed concept, but Rebirth and the previous SSF have made this idea seem less unrealistic.

Whether Hand Crossbow is truly related to Demon Hunter, whether Rebirth will further develop into a more complete character reset mechanism, and whether Fresh Start will become a new option for Eternal Realms all await further information from Diablo 4's official team.

One thing is certain: Diablo 4 Season 15 presentation isn't the entire story. If the developers want to deliver a real surprise at BlizzCon 2026, then Demon Hunter, new seasonal content, endgame changes, and even a completely new character system could be the answer.

Diablo 4 Season 15: 6 Legacy Uniques That Could Completely Change the Meta

Diablo 4 Season 15: 6 Legacy Uniques That Could Completely Change the Meta

Diablo 4 Season 15 will launch on September 15, 2026. According to official announcements, a series of beloved Legacy Uniques will return, but not all items are worth taking up valuable inventory space.

This article will introduce Six Legacy Uniques worth acquiring in Diablo 4 Season 15, items that could potentially change the game's landscape.

Diablo 4 Season 15: 6 Legacy Uniques That Could Completely Change the Meta

Leoric's Crown

Leoric's Crown, a Unique from Diablo 3, is usable by any class. I believe that after its rework, it will become one of the most powerful Diablo 4 Legacy Uniques for the following reasons:

While it occupies a Helm slot, the system treats it as Jewelry. This means that gems socketed into it will enjoy jewelry-specific bonuses.

Most importantly, the new Abyssal Splinter gems provide 35% attack speed and 35% critical strike chance when socketed normally. When socketed into Leoric's Crown, these two attributes are increased to 70%. If you find Mythic version, these two attributes will be even higher - up to 81%.

In Diablo 4, very few helmets offer attack speed bonuses, and a 70-81% critical strike chance is incredibly high in the game's attribute bonus system. Therefore, if I believe this item has the potential to define a new season, I encourage you to try and acquire it; you'll be pleasantly surprised by the rewards.

Squirt's Blouse

This high-risk, high-reward Unique is a remake of Squirt's Necklace from Diablo 3 and will make a strong comeback in Diablo 4 Season 15.

Squirt's Blouse increases damage taken by up to 50% when you are not taking damage, but also increases damage dealt by up to 50%[x]. This effect resets upon losing health. Mythic version increases the damage bonus to 65%[x].

In short, this is gear best suited for the late game. Early game, the defensive loss is too significant, and you might not have enough shield duration to sustain it. However, once you're well-equipped and start challenging high-tier Pit or Tormented bosses, this item becomes one of the best offensive gear options.

While sacrificing the chest armor's defensive stats is regrettable, 50-65% multiplicative damage bonus is almost always worth it.

In-geom

In-geom is a powerful weapon from Diablo 3, making a strong comeback in Diablo 4 Season 15. It completely changes how you manage your character's skill cooldowns. Let's take a closer look.

This weapon reduces your cooldown skills by a fixed number of seconds, approximately 8-13 seconds depending on the version. Generally, Diablo 4's cooldown reduction cap is 75%, but this fixed reduction completely ignores that cap.

If you have a skill with a 10-second cooldown and 50% cooldown reduction, the actual cooldown time is only 5 seconds. Once you have In-geom, you get an extra 10 seconds off, allowing for more efficient chaining of skills.

I think this weapon is perfect for speed runs and any build that relies on ultimate skills or long-cooldown skills. So, if you're planning to build such a build in Season 15, this item is essential, and players should plan ahead.

The Furnace

The Furnace, also from Diablo 3, is returning in Diablo 4 Season 15 due to its popularity. Unique's effect is quite simple: it increases damage dealt to elites and bosses by up to 200%[x].

Besides that, I think its primary purpose isn't clearing mobs, but rather for pushing. In high-tier Pit runs, you often need to keep some mobs alive so they can act as damage channels (e.g., Rain of Arrows splitting, Shatter procs, or Azrael interactions).

The Furnace allows you to precisely focus your power on what truly matters: those tough targets that genuinely threaten your victory. For players aiming for higher rankings, this weapon is undoubtedly a top-tier choice.

Stone of Jordan

Stone of Jordan originates from Diablo 2. Blizzard has officially confirmed that this Legacy Unique will be permanently added to Diablo 4, not just Season 15. While retaining the core functionality of the classic SoJ (Stone of Jordan), it has been adjusted to fit the current gear system.

This ring's core focus is on enhancing survivability, rather than simply increasing damage output. It grants +2 to all your skills and sets your maximum resistances to your highest single resistance. Additionally, you deal a small amount of extra damage equal to the elemental type.

If you have stacked a significant amount of fire resistance, this ring will immediately set all your other resistances to the same level. This greatly enhances your defensive capabilities, especially in high-difficulty dungeons where resistance disparities can easily lead to instant death. Therefore, for players with poor survivability, this ring might be a lifesaver.

Ariox's Needle

This is a 2H Polearm from Diablo 3. It has a chance to trigger Critical Strike - essentially a critical strike on top of a critical strike. If you have a 50% critical strike chance, each attack has a 50% chance to deal 100%[x] additional damage.

In addition, it has a chance to deal poison damage, which is extremely useful for elemental synergy. I think it's perfect for Damage-over-Time (DoT) builds and any build that can't naturally stack critical strike chance.

That concludes this article about some useful Legacy Uniques returning in Diablo 4 Season 15. If you want more detailed information, follow EZG Facebook. We'll also be hosting occasional Season 15 giveaways to help you quickly accumulate resources and get ahead of others.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Endgame: Can You Reach High Torment Without Lord of Hatred Expansion?

Diablo 4 Season 14 Endgame: Can You Reach High Torment Without Lord of Hatred Expansion?

As Diablo 4 Season 14 nears its end, players are increasingly facing issues related to final progression.

Recently, a player raised a question in the community: his character has reached Paragon 190, collected all Mythic Uniques needed for his build, all Masterworking, and equipped with Greater Affixes.

However, due to not unlocking expansion, he finds himself stuck on Torment 8 difficulty. While he can barely survive on Torment 9, his damage output makes it feel unmanageable.

He's not alone in this problem; the underlying question is: without expansion, does Diablo 4 experience truly end there?

Diablo 4 Season 14 Endgame: Can You Reach High Torment Without Lord of Hatred Expansion?

Season 14's Content

Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, launched on June 30th, bringing Pandemonium Ruptures, Mythic Uniques 3.0, Corrupted Reaper, Towers and Leaderboards, Solo Self Found, and a new seasonal progression system.

The season content isn't exclusive to expansion, as players who haven't unlocked expansion can participate in most of Season 14's content and experience the same character progression.

Therefore, for players primarily focused on leveling up characters, experimenting with different builds, completing season objectives, farming gear, and occasionally tackling higher Torment Difficulties, even playing the noumenon Diablo 4 version will suffice.

A prime example is Mythic Uniques 3.0 system, which allows players to upgrade Uniques to Mythic Uniques using Pandemonium Fragments and base Unique Items through the season system.

Therefore, even without expansion, players aren't playing an empty shell. The real problem lies later.

The Problem

Based on player descriptions in community feedback, it's clear their gear and other configurations are almost all at endgame level. The biggest obstacle in Season 14 is how to continue progressing through higher Torment difficulties.

This reveals a crucial hidden fact in Diablo 4: gear upgrades and system upgrades are entirely different concepts. In other words, you can continuously improve item quality, Masterworking level, and affixes, almost to the limit. But an endgame build may still have higher potential hidden beneath the existing systems.

This is where Diablo 4 expansion begin to play a role.

The current Diablo 4 ecosystem includes content only available in Lord of Hatred expansions, such as War Plans, Horadric Cube, Talisman, and the new expansion classes, listed separately from permanent updates available in the noumenon.

For casual players, these systems seem like extra game content, while for endgame players, they are more like extra tools.

High Torment Difficulty Isn't DLC-Exclusive

This is crucial for players struggling to progress through Diablo 4 Season 14's endgame.

When Blizzard expanded Torment difficulty from four levels to twelve, the new difficulty structure was added as permanent content updates, not as a DLC-exclusive feature.

Therefore, owning expansion isn't a prerequisite for reaching T9 and higher difficulties.

In fact, higher Torment difficulties demand increasingly stronger character capabilities, but also offer richer rewards. The difference between barely surviving and efficiently completing levels is significant for map clearing and game progress.

This is why players who theoretically can reach higher Torment difficulties still feel they've hit a plateau.

The Actual Role of DLC

The main role Diablo 4's DLC plays in addressing the aforementioned issues isn't merely more content, but rather providing players with more ways to build gear and enhance character strength.

Talisman

Talisman system in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred expansion primarily involves adding additional affixes, abilities, and set bonuses using Seals and Charms.

Seals unlock Charm slots; more powerful Seals provide stronger effects and additional slots. Set Charms provide additional bonuses when multiple compatible Charms are equipped.

For players simply wanting to complete Diablo 4 Season 14, Talisman system may not significantly alter the gameplay experience. However, it's an important and usable mechanic for players looking to further enhance their damage cap, survivability, and skill effects in the late game.

Horadric Cube

Horadric Cube is another important feature.

Blizzard describes it as an expansion that allows the transformation, customization, and creation of different types of equipment and crafting materials.

It can also modify affixes, reset certain item attributes, upgrade items, and interact with Runes and Mythic Uniques crafting systems.

This is fundamentally different from simply adding another dungeon. Horadric Cube changed how players handled unwanted equipment, giving them more ways to reuse items and materials for crafting and upgrading other gear, instead of simply dismantling, selling, or discarding them.

Furthermore, besides Talisman and Horadric Cube, Diablo 4's DLC added Runes, War Plans, and additional exclusive classes, features unavailable to players who only owned the base game.

For players who have invested hundreds of hours in Diablo 4, these additions will create two completely different gaming experiences.

Is Diablo 4 Without DLC Actually Incomplete?

In fact, there's no strict yes or no answer to this question, as the experience is entirely different for players with different goals.

Casual players might feel that even without unlocking expansion, the content of Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening is already quite complete for them, as their goal is simply to experience the season's story, level up their characters, and occasionally grind for endgame content; the noumenon is perfectly adequate for their needs.

However, for players focused on conquering the high-Torment endgame content, the answer becomes more complex. Once the goal shifts from What can I play? to How far can I level up my character?, the value of expansion becomes crucial.

For these players, DLC serves as a tool to further optimize their characters, push their limits, and achieve the remaining objectives.

Therefore, the answer to this question depends solely on your player type and your expectations for Diablo 4 Season 14.

Addressing the current community's stagnation at T9 in the endgame, EZG has added a free giveaway shortcut in the top navigation bar of its homepage to help players increase their chances of obtaining the necessary Mythic Uniques to break through their build ceiling.

In summary, while the noumenon of Diablo 4 provides character progression, the effective methods are limited, whereas the systems included in expansion fundamentally change the way characters progress.

For players who want to experience all the endgame content, DLC can indeed provide a more complete experience, but if you only want to experience Season 14 content, expansion is optional.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Thorns Build Needs a Rework: Players Want Splintering Damage to Revive the Forgotten Playstyle

Diablo 4 Season 14 Thorns Build Needs a Rework: Players Want Splintering Damage to Revive the Forgotten Playstyle

Diablo 4 Season 14 has brought players numerous significant system changes so far, including new season content, adjustments to Mythic Uniques, and class balance updates.

Among all class builds, while Thorns builds remain one of the most distinctive playstyles in the game, since the start of the season, a large number of players have felt that the mechanics still lack the depth to compete with other mainstream builds.

The most requested feature from the community is Splintering Damage build within Thorns, which has been eagerly awaited.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Thorns Build Needs a Rework: Players Want Splintering Damage to Revive the Forgotten Playstyle

Current Status of Thorns in Season 14

Thorns has always been one of the most unique mechanics in Diablo 4. Unlike traditional pure damage builds that rely on spellcasting skills or maximizing critical strike chance, Thorns builds allow players to convert enemy attacks into counterattacks.

This unique mechanic, combining offense and defense, makes Thorns builds highly attractive to players who enjoy different combat rhythms.

Thorns players no longer need to constantly chase enemies and strictly manage skill usage resources as before. Instead, they can focus more on providing effective survival tools when enemies attack, while punishing those who try to attack them.

However, with Diablo 4 introducing a more robust progression system and more complex build interactions, many players feel that Thorns build in Season of Death Awakening is starting to feel outdated.

Diablo 4 Season 14 has continuously adjusted the energy sources related to Thorns. For example, previous balance adjustments increased several Thorn values, including Paragon node adjustments and Spiritborn-related bonuses, indicating that the developers are still actively monitoring this mechanic.

But for players who love Thorns, simply increasing damage numbers is not enough. A more important question is whether Thorns' mechanic should transcend being a passive reaction to enemy attacks?

The Biggest Problem

The traditional Thorns build has a fatal weakness: players cannot fully control the timing of damage triggers.

Unlike Whirlwind, Bone Spear, or Lightning Storm, Thorns require an enemy to attack the player first to trigger. This causes several problems:

1. Limited Player Control

Typical damage-dealing builds in Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening allow players to decide when to attack enemies, which enemies to attack, and how to maximize their damage output window.

However, Thorn's build works differently. Players must wait for enemies to attack first, meaning that this build's damage output depends partly on the monster's attack, rather than your Diablo 4 Items and skills.

While this mechanic increases your counterattack damage against a large number of high-difficulty enemies, your damage rhythm becomes very weak against bosses or slower-moving enemies.

2. Weak Growth Potential

Currently, the strongest builds in Diablo 4 Season 14 typically possess the following interaction mechanics:

  • Damage Multipliers
  • Status Effects
  • Crowd Control
  • Resource Management
  • Skill Rotation

The traditional Thorns build lacks these interaction mechanics. This deficiency makes it feel more like an independent system than a complete combat system, meaning it lacks a growth system.

This is why some players believe Thorns builds need a redesign, rather than simply a numerical increase.

Diablo 4 Splintering Damage

Thorns Splintering Damage

Thorns Splintering Damage is not an official mechanic in Diablo 4 Season 14, but an innovative gameplay element developed by the player community based on Thorns mechanic, aiming to improve the future development of Thorns builds.

The core design principle of this gameplay is that Thorns should inflict continuous effects on enemies, not just instant counterattack damage. In this new damage system, when enemies are attacked by Thorns, they gain a new Splinter effect.

This fundamentally changes the mechanics of Thorns. Previously, Thorns only damaged enemies when they attacked you. Splintering Damage, however, causes enemies to suffer increasingly severe damage penalties over time when they attack you.

How Splintering Damage Could Improve Thorns?

1. Converting Thorns Damage into Damage Over Time

In Splintering Damage system, Thorns damage doesn't disappear immediately after dealing counterattack damage. Instead, it leaves behind splinters after each trigger, continuously dealing damage to enemies.

2. Crowd Control

Another advantage of Splintering Damage is that it grants Thorns stronger battlefield control capabilities.

The more Thorns stacked, the better the control effect on enemies. It not only slows down enemy movement speed but also reduces their attack speed, creating more offensive opportunities for the player.

For Thorns-focused builds, Thorns will no longer be a passive defensive mechanism but rather a complete playstyle.

3. Expanding Damage Range

One of the biggest challenges facing Thorns build is its difficulty in efficiently clearing large groups of monsters.Splintering Damage addresses this by allowing Thorns effects to spread. For example, if an enemy accumulates too many shards, Thorns' effect will erupt or spread, dealing additional damage to nearby enemies.

This mechanism gives Thorns builds an advantage in some of the densely packed monster dungeons in Diablo 4 Season 14.

Future Development

The problems with Thorns can be traced back to Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening and even Season 13, but the official patch notes, such as Patch 3.2.0 PTR, have not yet revealed any adjustments to Thorns system or gameplay diversity.

Even so, judging from the frequent adjustments and changes made by the official team this season, Diablo 4's seasonal updates are increasingly focused on expanding build options through new item systems, balance adjustments, and class adjustments.

In response to the growing calls from the player community regarding Thorns mechanics and Splintering Damage, the most likely improvements in Diablo 4 will be the addition of new Diablo 4 Unique Items, new Legendary Aspects, and Paragon improvements.

EZG will also be monitoring these changes and updates. Furthermore, to facilitate smoother build construction and map clearing for players, we've provided quick access to a free resource giveaway at the top of the homepage navigation bar.

Click to access the giveaway and follow EZG Facebook to participate in discussions about Thorns gameplay and receive occasional free Diablo 4 resources.

Get EZG Facebook Diablo 4 Giveaways

In short, the adjustments aim not only to address the fatal weaknesses of Thorns' mechanic but also to create more reasons for players to actively build around it. Thorns will no longer simply reflect enemy damage but will evolve into a system based on stacking effects, sustained pressure, and battlefield control.

The proposals for Thorns and Splintering Damage represent the expectations of many players for future updates to Diablo 4, and there is still much room for improvement in the official team's efforts to diversify the build mechanics.

Geralt of The Witcher 3 Is Coming To Diablo 4 And This May Be Only The Beginning

Geralt of The Witcher 3 Is Coming To Diablo 4 And This May Be Only The Beginning

Blizzard Entertainment and CD Projekt RED have proclaimed a collaboration. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered will be released on Battle.net this year, and this collaboration will extend directly to Diablo 4. A Geralt-themed skin has been confirmed for release later.

Currently, Diablo 4 is still in Season 14 Death Awakening. Pandemonium Ruptures, Mythic Uniques 3.0, and other content remain the focus of the current season, and the developers are still continuously adjusting this update through patches. The timing of announcing Witcher collaboration is somewhat delicate.

According to the current schedule, Witcher 3 Remastered will be released on Battle.net at the end of September, by which time Season 14 will be nearing its end. Therefore, this collaboration may seamlessly connect with the update cycle around Season 15.

Geralt of The Witcher 3 Is Coming To Diablo 4 And This May Be Only The Beginning

Geralt is coming to Diablo 4

A Geralt-themed skin has been confirmed for this collaboration.

Once the new expansion Songs of the Past becomes available for pre-order on Battle.net, getting this will automatically grant you this Diablo 4 collaboration skin. If you miss the pre-order, don't worry, you can still unlock the skin after the expansion's official release in 2027.

However, the skin's full design hasn't been officially revealed yet, and its corresponding class is currently unknown. But considering the two series' settings, Geralt wouldn't feel out of place in Diablo 4.

Witchers in The Witcher 3 universe are a group of people who specialize in dealing with monsters, curses, and various supernatural troubles.

Geralt's iconic elements - Silver Sword, Leather Armor, Witcher Medallion, and Potions - fit seamlessly into Diablo's dark and bloody world. Putting Geralt in Sanctuary would almost feel like he's just taking on quests in a different location.

Of course, what we see now is only the first step in this collaboration. The good news is that both sides have confirmed they will announce more information at BlizzCon 2026, including further details on Geralt skin and future collaborations between CD Projekt RED and Blizzard.

Season 14 or Season 15?

Currently, Diablo 4 is still in Season 14, and Geralt collaboration was announced during this period, so it's open to either a later part of the season or a move into Season 15.

If I had to guess, I'd give Season 14 a smaller chance, but I wouldn't rule it out completely. This season started on June 30th and is still ongoing, with Pandemonium Ruptures, Mythic Uniques 3.0, and Solo Self Found still being adjusted.

More importantly, Season 14 already included an Overwatch collaboration at the start, including free Reliquary rewards, dyes, and store skins. Blizzard wouldn't find it particularly abrupt to schedule another Witcher 3 collaboration later in the season.

Personally, I think Season 15 is the more likely timing for this collaboration. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered will launch on Battle.net on September 29th, and both sides will continue to showcase Geralt skin and future collaboration content during BlizzCon 2026.

By the time the promotion truly begins, Season 14 will be in its later stages, naturally bringing the timing closer to the next season. If Blizzard wants to save this collaboration for the next update cycle, it would be natural for Geralt skin to launch around the same time as Season 15.

If you're already preparing for The Witcher 3 collaboration , you can also buy Diablo 4 Items from EZG.com to spend less time rebuilding your gear once the new content arrives.

Witcher 3 Launches on Battle.net

This collaboration will also officially bring The Witcher 3 to Battle.net. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered will be released on September 29th, simultaneously launching on other platforms.

Remastered will continue to upgrade the graphics, performance, and gameplay experience, and will also include Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.

For players preparing to start a new game, or those who haven't fully experienced The Witcher 3 before, this collaboration brings back almost all the existing main content.

Even more exciting is that CD Projekt RED has confirmed there will be new content coming soon: Songs of the Past will be released in 2027, and Geralt will embark on a new journey once again.

This time, the story takes place in Letten. This place retains its rich rural traditions and folklore, appearing quite peaceful on the surface, but harboring a long-dormant secret beneath.

Geralt will encounter a group of enemies he hasn't seen before, and his story choices will affect the fate of this land, as well as his relationship with an important friend.

It's quite rare for The Witcher 3 to receive a Remastered and a brand new expansion so many years after its release.

Diablo 4 Collaboration The Witcher 3 Geralt

Later Collaboration

CD Projekt RED has clearly stated that The Witcher 3's release on Battle.net is just the beginning of their collaboration.

Currently, the only publicly revealed Diablo 4 content is Geralt-themed skin, but both parties have confirmed that they will continue to reveal collaboration details at BlizzCon 2026. Considering that the next Diablo 4 season is fast approaching, it remains to be seen whether other collaboration content will appear besides this skin.

At least based on the information released so far, this collaboration clearly doesn't intend to stop at just a cosmetic item.

With more Witcher collaboration details still to come at BlizzCon 2026, follow EZG Facebook for the latest updates and Player's Choice Giveaways, and tag your friends or followers to join the discussion.

For Diablo 4 players, Geralt is confirmed as the first Witcher to arrive in Sanctuary. As for when he will officially appear and whether he will be included in Season 15, we'll have to wait for BlizzCon 2026 to find out.

However, one thing is certain - Sanctuary has no shortage of monsters; Geralt won't be bored.
