Arc Raiders January 2026 Weapon Tier List: Best Easy-to-Get Guns After Update 1.11.0
Following the release of Arc Raiders' long-awaited January Update 1.11.0, which nerfed Kettle and Trigger 'Nade, two weapons capable of dealing extremely high damage, discussions within the community regarding currently available high-powered weapons have intensified.
In preparation for the major update that will be released soon, players are looking for a weapon that is both easy to obtain and has a powerful combat effect, which will be an important helper in completing all challenges and trials.
Thanks to this, this guide lists the weapon options you can try in January 2026, not only because the crafting materials and blueprints are very easy to find, but also because they are highly usable.
Evaluation Criteria
To ensure fairness, EZG.com will first introduce some criteria for selecting these best weapons. In general, the weapon must have a relatively high return on investment; for example, the reward of a weapon that is extremely difficult to obtain will certainly be greater than that of a free one.
Furthermore, since players in Arc Raiders nowadays have different preferences for game content, we will evaluate these weapons accordingly based on the needs of different exploration styles. Finally, here are the factors we considered when ranking the weapons currently in the game:
- PvP Effectiveness: Its performance in PvP is characterized by its speed of use, range, and short reload time.
- PvE Effectiveness: Its performance in PvE includes armor penetration, precise aiming, knockback effect, and ammo saving.
- Crafting Cost: The availability of the materials, blueprints, and accessories that make up the weapon; their prices at NPC vendors; and the probability of obtaining them in the game.
- Difficulty of Build: The difficulty of selecting the components that maximize combat effectiveness to create a complete build depends on the complexity.
In addition to the factors mentioned above, we will also collect feedback from players in the community regarding specific weapons, since the ultimate users of these weapons are the players themselves. Now let's get into ARC Raiders January 2026 Weapon Tier List that this guide has been prepared for you!
S-Tier
In this tier, you'll find the most worthwhile weapon options to try in the current game content, each suited to a different playstyle.
Ferro: Battle Rifle, Heavy Ammo
First, let me introduce this free basic bolt-action rifle. Its heavy ammunition is extremely lethal against Arc enemies like The Queen, capable of accurate headshots and easy hits to weak points.
However, what truly impressed the judges at EZG.com was Ferro's extremely low production cost; both its Arc Raiders blueprints and the necessary materials were readily available.
Kettle: Assault Rifle, Light Ammo
Did Kettle appear in S tier of weapons surprise you? Don't be surprised, because the nerfs to it in January Update 1.11.0 mainly eliminated cheating by allowing some players to bypass its rate of fire limit using macros, rather than affecting the weapon's combat effectiveness.
Similarly, due to its extremely high aiming accuracy and high firepower output, the Kettle is also a suitable weapon for efficiently farming coins and experience points in various Arc bots. Meanwhile, its build cost is very low; it only requires selecting an accessory that significantly reduces recoil.
Anvil: Pistol, Heavy Ammo
Compared to the two larger rifles, this compact pistol is more suitable for carrying around, and it performs very well in both PvE and PvE modes. Although many players criticize its ability to only fire single shots at enemies, its considerable damage output perfectly compensates for this shortcoming.
After testing, it was found that as long as you build a fairly complete structure around it, you can easily shatter the armor of Arc enemies, and even get headshots in PvP. Most importantly, Anvil has a long enough range to allow you to deal this effective damage from a safe distance.
A-Tier
In this tier, some weapons require time to find their blueprints, while others are only good for medium-level challenges due to their lower damage output. Overall, however, it's still a worthwhile Arc Raiders item option to try.
Stitcher: SMG, Light Ammo
If you prefer the exhilarating thrill of close-quarters combat, then Stitcher is definitely worth a try. It allows you to tear enemies apart at close range with precise bursts of fire, enabling you to quickly complete levels and loot rewards.
However, due to its high recoil, Stitcher cannot be a common weapon for novice players. Only those players with superb recoil control and a wide variety of grips or stocks can effectively maximize its power.
Burletta: Pistol, Light Ammo
Based on the data provided by the developers, Burletta seems like a perfect weapon: it is both offensive and defensive, has balanced performance, and a very good rate of fire, making it capable of completing most PvP missions.
However, it has a fatal flaw: insufficient damage output. It cannot penetrate the shields of Arc enemies, nor can it achieve a one-shot headshot kill. Therefore, players in the community often jokingly call it “beautiful trash.” It’s fine for everyday use, but it won’t let you survive in higher-difficulty conflicts.
Equalizer: Special, Energy Clips
The last A-tier weapon option available to you is Equalizer, crafted from loot obtained from encounters with The Queen. While it is effective at destroying enemy armor and has a long range, its effectiveness is completely disproportionate to how easy it was acquired.
Logically, a weapon rewarded by a boss should easily allow you to fight other real players of similar difficulty. However, Equalizer is different. Its extremely slow rate of fire makes it easy for your PvP opponents to dodge and pose a threat to you. So, you can try it if you only play PvE, but forget about PvP.
These are some of the weapon options available in Arc Raiders as of the release of January Update 1.11.0. With the end of Cold Snap, players are increasingly looking forward to the next major update that will bring more new game content. Let’s wait and see!
WoW TBC Classic Pre-Patch Guide: What to Do Before the Dark Portal Opens
WoW TBC Classic Anniversary pre-patch went live on January 13th, bringing significant changes to the game, including the addition of Blood Elves and Draenei, a brand-new Jewelcrafting profession, and buffs or nerfs to some classes.
During this three-week transition period, you’ll need to do a lot to prepare for Dark Portal’s launch on February 5th. Regardless of your class, here’s a recommended activity list to help you quickly get up to speed with the new content.
List Contents
- Level your desired character to 60.
- Grind and hoard as much gold as possible to prepare for unlocking Flight at level 70.
- Raise your profession skill to 300, or free up a skill slot if you plan to learn Jewelcrafting on an existing character.
- If you’re leveling Jewelcrafting, start collecting materials needed to craft blueprints.
- Collect as much profession gear as possible to upgrade your newly leveled character.
- If you’re leveling a completely new character like Paladin or Shaman, spend time crafting equipment for them every 5-6 levels (purchase Plate/Mail armor as needed after level 40).
- Save enough gold to obtain Riding/Ourneyman Riding (or materials needed for the level 60 Warlock/Paladin quests).
- Complete Winterspring questline to obtain High Chief’s Trinket.
- After level 55, consider participating in Blasted Lands pre-patch event.
Additional Information
Regarding why you should do these items, here’s some additional information.
Regarding the first item on the list, you can also level your character to 58 before WoW TBC Classic pre-patch goes live, but this requires a lot of gold. I only recommend this method if you have ample gold and want to skip the leveling process.
However you choose to level up, make sure your character reaches level 60 before TBC arrives. Many valuable activities and quests revolve around level 60 after the pre-patch opens; for example, the newly added Jewelcrafting is only unlocked at level 60.
In addition, ensure all your professions are fully upgraded. During the pre-patch, WoW added important and useful features/modes to each profession, including some good ways to make money.
Jewelcrafting is the most profitable profession. Currently, red, yellow, and blue gems are in high demand, and you can profit by reselling them; you can also mine and sell the raw gem materials. In short, farming some items beforehand will make the leveling process much easier.
If you plan to create entirely new characters like Blood Elves or Draenei and have decided which professions you want to learn, farm the necessary items as early as possible. Otherwise, prices will skyrocket later, and demand will be high. Upgrading your profession skills now will save you a lot of trouble.
It’s also recommended crafting a new set of gear for your new character every 5-6 levels. While this may seem expensive, it’s actually the most cost-effective and time-efficient path. Every stat increase from gear significantly impacts damage, healing, and survivability. This means you can kill monsters faster with less resource consumption. Regularly upgrading your gear also makes it easier to find groups, greatly aiding in dungeon leveling.
If you don’t have enough gold, prioritize acquiring weapons and then farm gear while queuing for dungeons to compensate. If you’re worried about long queue times, consider playing a Tank or Healer to speed up the queue.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Riding is an essential skill in WoW TBC. Currently, a basic Riding costs 33 gold and 25 silver, while a mount costs 9 gold and 50 silver. Paladins/Warlocks and other classes can be purchased directly from trainers for 95 silver.
However, this only covers the basic Riding cost. Ourneyman Riding requires 700 gold, Expert Riding requires 900 gold, and the top-tier Artisan Riding requires 5200 gold. This means you’ll need a significant amount of gold to achieve decent riding skill, not to mention the later flying mechanics. In short, saving gold before the official release of TBC is always a good idea.
Additionally, during WoW TBC Classic Anniversary pre-patch, players can obtain High Chief’s Trinket through Winterspring questline. This Trinket isn’t difficult to acquire but is extremely powerful. If your early-game gear is lacking, High Chief’s Trinket is perfect, as it increases attack damage and healing.
The last item on the list is about Blasted Lands pre-patch event. This event allows you to complete numerous boss kills, resource trading, and other quests quickly acquiring transitional gear. However, you don’t need to do all the quests; just select those that are useful to you.
Overall, TBC Classic Anniversary pre-patch is not a period to rush blindly into leveling, but rather a critical preparation phase that rewards planning and efficiency. Players who take the time to stockpile gold, finalize professions, secure key gear upgrades, and familiarize themselves with new systems will enter Outland with a significant advantage over those who skip this stage.
Even small preparations - such as upgrading riding skills, crafting interim gear, or completing a few high-value questlines - can have a lasting impact on your leveling speed and overall experience once the Dark Portal opens.
The gap between a prepared character and an unprepared one becomes very apparent during the first few days of TBC, especially when competition for quests, dungeon groups, and resources is at its peak.
In short, treat the pre-patch as an investment. The effort you put in now will save you time, gold, and frustration later, allowing you to fully enjoy everything Burning Crusade has to offer from day one.
Monopoly Go January 19-26 Tycoon Racers and Golden Blitz Event Will Active! - Get Ready for Big Rewards!
Monopoly Go players, are you still regretting the recently concluded partner event and Sticker Boom flash event? Don’t be! The events and rewards coming next week will exceed your expectations.
According to leaks, Monopoly Go will be launching a Race event and a Golden Blitz event next week. One offers you more sticker rewards, and the other gives you the opportunity to trade for stickers. In short, these two will provide you with the best gaming experience next week!
Whether you’re a die-hard fan of this classic board game or not, it’s essential to check out EZG.com for event details and gameplay strategies before each event starts, as it always offers the most comprehensive guide. This time is no exception.
Tycoon Racers Event (January 22 to January 26)
First, let’s take a look at this Race event, which offers numerous rewards. According to the developers’ announcement when releasing Harry Potter GO sticker album, this event may themed Hogwarts Racers, and will reward you with collectibles featuring this Mysterious House.
This race event is scheduled to activate on Monopoly Go on January 22nd and last for four days, ending on January 26th. The first day is the team formation phase, the following three days are the competition phase, and the number of medals earned on the final day is doubled!
The rules of this event remain unchanged. You can choose to play on a team or solo after the event starts. But no matter which mode you choose, your ultimate goal will not change: use the flag tokens you earn to drive your car around the board and strive to get a top-four finish.
Generally, completing all races requires about 300-400 flag tokens, so whether you are exploring solo or in a team, you should try to get as many flags as possible from solo banner events or tournament events after the race event starts in order to make continuous progress.
Starting from the second day, the system will rank teams/individuals based on the distance traveled by their race cars at the end of each day. The first place team will receive 10 medals, the second place team will receive 8 medals, the third place team will receive 6 medals, and the fourth place team will receive 4 medals. The number of medals will be doubled on the last day.
If your car doesn’t achieve the above rankings, don’t worry. Reaching certain lap counts, such as 2, 4, 6, or 10 laps, will also provide you with generous rewards, including large amounts of cash, free dice, and sticker packs. Note that after obtaining the card pack, do not rush to open it. You should wait for Sticker Boom flash event, which will launch on the 22nd, to open and double your Monopoly Go cards.
Milestone Rewards
While the developers haven’t explicitly announced the specific rewards for this Tycoon Racers event, based on past patterns, we can reasonably infer that the rewards will include: collectibles such as special board tokens and special emotes; various sticker packs of varying value; and Swap Packs, etc. Specific details will be released by the developers.
Gameplay Strategy
After a brief introduction to this Tycoon Racers Event, which will be available on Monopoly Go on January 22, here are some gameplay strategies for you.
Firstly, during the team up phase, if you prefer to play solo, then immediately start collecting flag tokens after activation; however, if you want to play in a team and win more rewards, be sure to carefully choose your teammates, preferably friends in real life who are familiar with the game rules.
Of course, you can also look for players with similar goals in player communities or on social media, but this is very risky and you can easily encounter scams. Therefore, you can take advantage of EZG.com, which has Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers Event Slots for sale that guarantee you first place in every race, saving you all the trouble.
Back to the competition phase. While your flag tokens are easier to obtain than dice, you shouldn’t abuse the multiplier. You need to save as many flags as possible for the final day, when both lap rewards and medal rewards will be maximized. Additionally, collect all the flag tokens in Monopoly Go, and some are also hidden in Quick Wins and Shop Gifts.
Golden Blitz Event (TBD)
Less than a week after the last Golden Blitz, Monopoly Go is about to start a new one. Although many players in the community expressed their dislike for the excessively frequent updates, the developers continued to do as they pleased, indulging in their own self-amusement.
However, as the most loyal game assistant, here will not discuss the developers’ various awful behaviors, but rather try to provide all players with as many details as possible about this Golden Blitz. Unfortunately, the specific time of the release was not found in the various leaked information.
However, based on the release patterns of the previous leaks, it can be reasonably inferred that it was officially released on January 19th and would continue for 24 hours.
At this stage, the only confirmed names of the tradable stickers are: one is Ageing Potion from Set 16; the other is Hog’s Head from Set 18. The former is a 5-star gold sticker, and the latter is a 4-star gold sticker. During the event, you will have 5 opportunities to trade these with other players, which is separate from the 5 standard stickers.
EZG.com doesn’t offer any gameplay strategies for this trading event, but it still reminds you to choose trustworthy players to trade Monopoly Go stickers. For unfamiliar players, you can directly view their account’s net worth or collection list, which can indicate whether they are active in the game.
Alternatively, if you are still not comfortable with this, you can buy these two cards directly from EZG.com, which offers numerous security guarantees and has received many positive reviews on Trustpilot. Most importantly, they offer fast shipping and pose no risk to your account, making them the best choice for successfully collecting Harry Potter GO sticker album.
The above details Tycoon Racers Event and Golden Blitz Event that will be activated in Monopoly Go next week, along with some gameplay strategies. In comparison, all players are hoping for more frequent race events and a greater number of tradable stickers in Golden Blitz. Hopefully, the developers will hear these sentiments. Enjoy the game!
ARC Raiders 2026 Content Leaked by Developers: New Maps, Weapons & Matchmaking
Since its release, ARC Raiders has created a sensation in the gaming world with its captivating content and unique PvPvE gameplay. As 2026 progresses, fans are eagerly anticipating new content.
The game studio has consistently aimed to create a long-term online service with a clear creative vision, hoping to deliver a more intense and exciting experience. Through recent official staff interviews and community events, ARC Raiders is gradually unveiling its 2026 plans for players.
By compiling all the latest information, let's take a look at the new content that ARC Raiders might release in 2026, and how you should prepare for the next phase of the game.
Cold Snap Data
Many players expressed their satisfaction with the recently concluded Cold Snap event, particularly the new map. Therefore, Cold Snap is more than just a holiday event; it's a proof-of-concept for future content design.
According to published statistics:
- 95 million snowballs thrown;
- Over 10,000 ARC units were defeated by snowballs;
- 3.5 million knockdowns due to cold exposure;
- 1 million Candleberry feasts served.
These numbers are significant because they demonstrate players' willingness to try unconventional game mechanics, especially cold-related ones. This also strongly confirms the studio's new goal: future maps will not only look different but also offer drastically different gameplay.
In future games, environmental mechanics (such as temperature, visibility, and terrain hazards) will become permanent design pillars, not one-off events.
New Game Content
1. New Maps
According to official information, ARC Raiders is about to launch a series of brand-new maps, expected to change the way we play the game. The team is dedicated to creating maps of varying sizes and densities, ensuring each new map is fresh and vibrant.
Currently, Spaceport is the largest map, measuring approximately 1.6 km x 1.4 km. Future maps will not just be "bigger," but will be even more meticulously designed. Here's what we can expect:
- Unique weather conditions (storms, low visibility, extreme cold/heat);
- Locally specific enemy spawn points;
- A loot system that rewards specific map knowledge.
Just as Shredder currently only appears on Stella Montis map, other enemies in the future will likely be locked to specific areas, enhancing the uniqueness of each map.
These changes will make each map more than just a battlefield; they'll feel like a vibrant new world.
2. Matchmaking and combat changes
The studio will continuously adjust the game's matchmaking system, making it not solely based on skill or gear, but rather on a player's level of aggression.
The system will track a player's aggression during gameplay. If you engage in combat early in the game, the matchmaking system will reflect this behavior, pairing you with equally aggressive players.
It all depends on how you interact with the world around you and whether you actively participate in PvP or PvE combat.
This matchmaking system will be entirely dependent on a player's in-game behavior and playstyle. The goal is to encourage players to think more strategically about their actions, knowing that aggressive behavior may lead to more intense challenges.
The matchmaking system will continue to improve, with the developers constantly adjusting and optimizing it based on player feedback and data to ensure the best possible matchmaking experience.
Regardless of your skill level or equipment, you can enjoy the game.
3. Weapon balance and usage strategies
The fact that high-rarity weapons are as easily damaged as low-level equipment has long been a point of contention among players. Based on player and community feedback, the developers may re-evaluate weapon durability to ensure that high-level weapons are commensurate with their rarity.
Therefore, linking weapon durability to rarity is likely to be a key focus of future weapon adjustments.
Furthermore, they will adjust weapons and items in the game. The new content for ARC Raiders isn't simply about introducing entirely new weapons and items, but rather about encouraging players to use existing tools (such as ziplines, mines, and traps) in new ways to adapt to environmental changes, thereby altering the effectiveness of items.
For example, ziplines will be used extensively in maps with open views, while mines may be more valuable in narrower, denser environments.
4. Combating RMT accounts
Another aspect is strengthening player account security in future updates. Recently, many players have reported a proliferation of RMT accounts in the game, especially on PC version of ARC Raiders. Many players have reported receiving friend requests from suspicious accounts, which are likely associated with RMT activities.
The studio is actively combating these issues to ensure a safe gaming environment for players. If you encounter any suspicious behavior or accounts in the game, please report them to the official team.
2026 Game Roadmap
It has been confirmed that the 2026 content for ARC Raiders will not be released as a single large expansion pack. Instead, new game content will be released in batches throughout the year, including:
- Multiple new maps
- New ARC Raiders items and weapons
- New ARC enemy types
- New objectives and mission structure
This pacing suggests a seasonal or episodic model, with each update unique yet independent, maintaining game balance and clarity.
Importantly, player behavior will directly influence future game design decisions. How players engage in PvP, acquire loot, and employ extraction strategies will determine how new ARC Raiders content is released.
Therefore, players can look forward to the brand-new content of 2026, where ARC Raiders will present a completely fresh look.
For those players willing to embrace new content, the future holds challenges!
Governor of Poker 3: How to Get More Chips? | Events, Rewards, and Smart Strategies
Governor of Poker 3 is a wild west-themed poker game that includes various gameplay modes such as card games, blackjack, slots, and dice games. In this game, you can play with friends or participate in exciting online tournaments, experiencing endless fun in poker competition.
In this game, each player needs a certain number of chips to enter a game, and the game also distributes additional free chips every few hours. The goal of the game is to win by using the best hand or forcing others to fold, thus winning chips or rewards from other players.
Governor of Poker 3 can be described as a poker game that combines luck, strategy, and psychological warfare. If you seize the opportunity and use the right strategy, your chances of winning will be very high.
Furthermore, the larger your GOP 3 chips are, the more rewards you will win in the end. Using power-ups will also increase your chances of winning. Therefore, how to obtain more chips and power-ups is a question every player is thinking about. Below are some common reward types in the game, which can help you increase your probability of winning.
Reward Types
- Chips and Coins: In-game items used for participation.
- Fragments: Combining fragments unlocks special items, cosmetics, or characters.
- Special Items: Provide significant in-game benefits, such as extra spins or skill upgrades.
- Leaderboard Rewards: Some missions track top-performing players, providing extra chips or exclusive collectibles to those ranked higher.
Weekly Collection Events
In addition to daily login rewards, Governor of Poker 3 hosts weekly limited-time collection events to help players acquire more chips, experience points, and exclusive items, sometimes even unlocking unique characters. Mastering these events can significantly accelerate game progress and enhance the gaming experience.
Here are some common weekly events in the game:
- Collect Chips or Cards: Win a certain number of chips or complete specific card combinations in poker games.
- Complete a Certain Number of Games: Play N rounds in modes such as Ultimate Governor or standard poker tables.
These events are usually designed to keep players engaged, so they’re not too difficult. With persistence, you can basically get all the rewards.
Limited-Time Collection Events
Limited-time event rewards are significantly more difficult to obtain and are much rarer and more exclusive. Players can acquire crowns, rare skins, or high-value boosters through limited-time events. These events typically only take place during holidays, anniversaries, or seasonal sales, and usually last only two to three days, making the competition much fiercer.
Tasks include:
- Winning a certain number of chips during the event.
- Completing special game modes under time pressure.
- Collecting event-exclusive cards or items on the table in different modes.
Because these events are short-lived, timing is crucial. During the event, you need to invest a significant amount of time and effort in the event tasks to maximize your rewards after the event ends.
Quick Completion Strategies:
- Plan ahead: Understand all task requirements before the event starts to avoid wasting time.
- Choose the right game mode: Efficient game modes often allow players to complete multiple objectives simultaneously, such as Ultimate Governor and mini-events.
- Use power-ups wisely: Chips multipliers, extra spins, and experience boosters can double your chips and experience, effectively reducing the time required to complete tasks.
- Play in segments: Don’t try to complete all tasks at once; this will only exhaust you and cause you to lose more chips. Allocate your game time wisely, ensuring each game is played with full energy for greater efficiency.
- Stack objectives: Look for opportunities to earn multiple collectibles in a single game or bet; this is the fastest way to earn rewards.
Additionally, keep an eye out for event-specific rewards, such as earning extra shards for completing specific hand combinations. These smaller tasks are often not difficult but can help you gain a greater advantage in limited-time events.
Success Tips
To earn more collectibles and rewards in Governor of Poker3, the first thing to do is log in daily. In addition to the extra chips and fragments awarded every few hours in the game, there are also daily login rewards. These small bonuses will accumulate, giving you more chips to use in the game.
Alternatively, you can buy GOP 3 chips from EZG.com, which is a quick and safe way to acquire many chips.
Secondly, focus on missions that offer the highest rewards. Don’t try to do every mission; doing so only wastes chips and time. Assess your skill level and focus your efforts on missions where you are most likely to win, while avoiding overspending chips. A conservative betting strategy is safer and more likely to maximize your returns than a risky all-in bet.
Furthermore, since GOP 3 missions are generally similar, you can repeatedly learn from common game patterns in past missions, develop detailed game strategies, and predict potential collectibles to prepare for the next limited-time event.
Weekly and limited-time collectible missions are the fastest way to level up in Governor of Poker 3. By planning ahead, employing strategy, and focusing on efficiency, you’ll continuously accumulate chips and maximize every reward, making each game worthwhile.
Whether you’re fighting for chips, special rewards, or simply enjoying the psychological thrill of playing against other players, GoP3 will let you experience the charm of personalized poker. Try it out now!
Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.4.0D Detailed Explanation: Numerous Fixes and Improvements for Better Experience
Just a few days ago, Path of Exile 2 released its first major patch since the new league - Patch 0.4.0D. This patch brings players a series of game experience optimizations, bug fixes, and balance adjustments.
This patch focuses on refining existing mechanics, particularly adjustments to Fate of the Vaal league, while also fixing several bugs encountered by players. Although these may seem like minor changes, they can significantly impact the gameplay experience.
Therefore, I will detail the main changes in Patch 0.4.0D and analyze their impact on the game experience.
Fate of the Vaal League changes & improvements
Fate of the Vaal league received a series of game experience optimization updates, designed to simplify gameplay and fix some bugs encountered by players in Temple of Atziri.
These changes primarily focus on improving room layouts and interactions, as well as enhancing the player experience in temples and boss battles.
Temple respawn mechanism
One of the most significant changes in POE 2 0.4.0d patch update is the addition of a temple respawn mechanism. Players who die in a fight against Architect or Atziri boss will no longer be able to return to the fight but will respawn in a new instance.
Furthermore, much of the content within the instance will be removed, similar to the game map mechanism. This change significantly reduces player frustration, especially for those aiming for high-difficulty challenges or challenge modes.
Layout adjustments
The developers have made some adjustments to the layout of temple rooms. Hovering the mouse over a room now displays clearer upgrade information.
In addition, temples now require players to place at least one room to open, ensuring players don't accidentally enter a temple without a properly configured layout. Players can bypass this restriction by holding down the control key and clicking "Run Temple" button; gamepad users will receive a confirmation prompt.
In addition, user feedback on the temple map has been added, displaying when rooms are completed or inaccessible, and updating room upgrade information. These changes are designed to help guide new players while providing a more intuitive gaming experience for veteran players.
Temple bug fixes
Several bugs have been fixed in the temples, including some monsters not displaying their effects correctly and Transcendent Limb remaining after death. There was also an issue where non-temple owners could see dropped Temple Medallions but could not interact with them.
However, despite the official fixes, the problem of excessive monster density in rooms persists. Sometimes monsters will block the door, potentially trapping players in rooms full of enemies, forcing them to fight their way out or risk death.
While monsters sometimes avoid each other, this issue remains very frustrating in high-level temple challenges.
General changes and updates
Patch 0.4.0D also introduces several general changes affecting character progression, skill mechanics, and item management. Here are some key highlights:
Character panel update
The in-game character panel now displays data on attributes such as armor and energy shield, giving you a more intuitive understanding of your defensive capabilities.
This new feature allows for more fine-tuning of your build, tailored to different endgame and mob-hunting scenarios.
Passive Skill Tree update
The passive skill tree has undergone a major update. You no longer need to use Distilled Emotion to view the skills required for specific talents.
You can now directly view key nodes in the passive tree by hovering your mouse over them, eliminating the need to consult external guides or cheat sheets.
Boss and monster balance adjustments
Several bosses in Trial of Chaos have had their damage adjusted. Bahlak and The Sky Seer's damage has been reduced, while Uxmal's damage has been increased.
This change is undoubtedly good news for hardcore players, as Bahlak has always been one of the more difficult bosses, especially in high-risk, hardcore challenges.
In addition, the damage of all Quadrilla monster variants has been increased, adding to the challenge. On the other hand, the reduced damage of Voronas and Morvak makes them less challenging for players.
Spectral Fire and Fantasmal Arrow updates
Spectral Fire now calculates its area of effect and damage based on the player's attributes, which should make the damage output more balanced with other damage abilities.
Fantasmal Arrow no longer targets the ground, resolving several range issues players encountered when using its additional projectiles and barrage mechanics. Damage from projectile builds should then be improved.
New Augment Socketing UI
A useful update to Augment Socketing interface has been made. When you socket an Augment affix into an item, it will now display a unique icon representing that Augment, instead of the previous generic rune image.
This change makes it visually easier to distinguish specific Augments that have been socketed.
Bug Fixes
This patch also includes numerous bug fixes, many of which will improve overall stability and gameplay for PC and console players. We only need to focus on the fixes that will significantly impact gameplay:
Fracturing Orb drop buffs
The studio fixed a bug that prevented Immured Fury from spawning, making it easier for players to farm Fracturing Orbs.
The price of Fracturing Orbs is expected to drop, which is bad news for players who previously hoarded PoE 2 currency.
Abyss Atlas Tree fixes
The issue where nodes in Abyss Atlas Passive Skills that affected Depths Chance but not Boss Depths Chance has been fixed.
Previously, nodes that were supposed to increase the spawn rate of Amanamu and Ulaman Abyss Monsters inadvertently increased the spawn rate of other factions as well.
Many players previously exploited this bug to farm large amounts of high-value resources; after the patch update, these players will need to find new farming methods.
Movement speed boost fixed
Previously, Amanamu's Gaze and Queen of the Forest had an issue preventing the movement speed boost from working, causing many players to equip these items without receiving the speed bonus.
Now fixed, many speed-focused builds can use these items again. However, note that if you equip both simultaneously, the speed-blocking bug will still occur.
Overall, while this Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.4.0d doesn't bring any entirely new content, the numerous game optimizations and bug fixes should significantly improve the player experience upon returning to the game.
Whether you're challenging temples, optimizing your builds, or simply exploring the world of PoE 2, this patch offers valuable improvements. Hunt hard, exiles!
