WoW MoP Classic Scholomance Dungeon In Heroic Clearance Guide: These Strategies Can Help You A Lot! - Location, Quests And Bosses

WoW MoP Classic Scholomance Dungeon In Heroic Clearance Guide: These Strategies Can Help You A Lot! - Location, Quests And Bosses

In the recently hotly discussed WoW Mist of Pandaria Classic, Scholomance Dungeon is a reworked, low-level dungeon inherited from previous expansions, but featuring completely different quest and boss mechanics.

Generally speaking, with the right team composition, clearing Scholomance on normal difficulty is easy in half a day. However, on Heroic difficulty, all aspects of the game become more challenging.

WoW MoP Classic Scholomance Dungeon In Heroic Clearance Guide: These Strategies Can Help You A Lot! - Location, Quests And Bosses

Bosses acting as mentors not only teach you values like discipline, resurrection, and retraining through cutscenes, but also boast significantly improved combat moves. Furthermore, some leveling quests require significant time and effort to complete.

With this in mind, this guide will provide a strategy for exploring Scholomance dungeon on Heroic difficulty, covering the dungeon’s location, quest list, and boss encounter tips - all essential for navigating this fraught and challenging dungeon.

Location

According to the lore provided to players in WoW MoP Classic, Scholomance is a necromancy school located on an island southeast of Western Plaguelands, which requires character level 90 or higher and item level 435 or higher.

As with previous expansions, no specific dungeon key is required to enter Scholomance. As long as you gather your team and meet near the junction stone next to the entrance outside the castle, you can enter the dungeon.

WoW MoP Classic Western Plaguelands

In this latest expansion, only by completing the heroic difficulty dungeon can you have the opportunity to complete the corresponding achievements. For Scholomance Heroic, the most important achievement reward is Reins of the Crimson Cloud Serpent, as well as a lot of experience points and WoW MoP Classic Gold.

Quests

In the Heroic Scholomance dungeon, there are two quests for you to complete: The Four Tomes and An End to the Suffering, which are neutral quests available to both Horde and Alliance players. Below are the required tasks for each.

The Four Tomes

After entering Scholomance, you’ll be greeted by a helpful Talking Skull, who is the only NPC in this dungeon that can offer quests. It will provide you with 4 books: In the Shadow of the Light, Kel’Thuzad’s Deep Knowledge, Forbidden Rites and other Rituals Necromantic, and The Dark Grimoire, they are all about the great tomes studied about great necromantic evil.

You need to advance the quest by finding these books. Next is the specific location of each book.

  • In the Shadow of the Light - In the room where Instructor Chillheart lives.
  • Kel’Thuzad’s Deep Knowledge - In the room where Jandice Barov lives.
  • Forbidden Rites and other Rituals Necromantic - In the room in front of Lilian Voss.
  • The Dark Grimoire - In the room where Professor Slate lives.

An End To The Suffering

After you’ve found all the tomes and returned to Talking Skull to deliver the collection, it will offer you the second quest in Scholomance, which requires you to defeat Darkmaster Gandling to unlock the curse contained within the land.

During this process, Talking Skull will follow you until you successfully kill the boss. Then take it to the end of Scholomance Heroic dungeon, and your level is considered complete.

Bosses

Throughout the dungeon, you’ll encounter five bosses in order: Instructor Chillheart, Jandice Barov, Rattlegore, Lilian Voss, and Darkmaster Gandling. Here are some tips and precautions for fighting them.

Instructor Chillheart

The encounter with Instructor Chillheart, the first boss encountered in Scholomance Heroic dungeon, is divided into two phases, each terminating when his physical body dies.

In the first phase, your team will be forced to run against the ice wall it unleashes, which is instantly fatal upon contact. If you manage to escape, be wary of the powerful shadow damage it inflicts, which lasts for ten seconds and is too much for even a tank to withstand.

In addition, during this phase, Instructor Chillheart will continuously inflict frost damage to you and your allies, so before starting the challenge with it, invest as much in-game gold as possible in your frost resistance to reach the maximum value to ensure your endurance.

WoW MoP Classic Instructor Chillheart

When Instructor Chillheart’s physical body dies, the second phase of the confrontation begins. Its phylactery activates, and monsters from the tomes of magic appear to fight you. For example, Anarchist Arcanist creates a magical sphere that explodes on impact, dealing Arcane damage to all players within a 2-yard radius.

Antonidas’ Self-Help Guide deals Fire damage to all players within a 2-yard radius. Additionally, Wander’s Colossal Book of Shadow Puppets fires dark magic bolts at random players, dealing Shadow damage.

The tip I can provide you here is to pull these small monsters as much as possible, that is, use the flexibility of DPS or tanks to increase the distance between the team and them, and keep them outside the 2-yard range as much as possible, which will greatly increase your chances of survival.

Jandice Barov

Next up is Jandice Barov, a mentor who teaches Advanced Illusions and has been lurking in Scholomance for years. She appears gentler than the previous one, but she’s far from it. Your fight with her is divided into a Main Phase and an Intermission Phase, with health points dropping to 66% and 33% respectively.

In Main Phase, it mainly relies on Wondrous Rapidity and Gravity Flux to deal damage to you, but you can cleverly avoid that Arcane damage and Shadow damage by improving your mobility. The real challenge is in Intermission Phase.

During this phase, Jandice will disappear and create a clone of herself with lower health. You’ll need to successfully kill the real boss to return to the main phase. If you damage the wrong boss, it will cast a flashbang, damaging the entire team.

WOW MOP Classic Gold Hot Sale At EZG.com

Typically, the real boss is on the left side of the arena, but this isn’t always the case. Alternatively, while the clone is dodging Whirl of Illusion, you can use the bookshelves in the room to stack line of sight and damage it.

If your team has Death Knights, use Dark Simulacrum to disable their Wondrous Rapidity ability, which deals arcane damage, to maximize your chances of protecting yourself and your allies.

Rattlegore

Compared to the previous two multi-phase boss encounters, fighting Rattlegore is much simpler. Simply upgrade everyone in your party’s Bone Armor and stack it sufficiently to withstand Bone Spike.

For tanks with already strong defenses, if their DPS is lacking in damage, they’ll need to maximize their flexibility to kite. Besides this damage method, Rattlegore also frequently uses fire damage, which is something you should be aware of.

Lilian Voss

Perhaps the most pitiful character in this dungeon’s story is Lilian Voss. She strangled her father for treason and was forced to wreak havoc, ultimately spending the rest of her life in the dark corridors of Scholomance.

The encounter phases are divided into three stages. When her health is at 60%, the first stage ends. The second stage ends when her soul health reaches 1%. The third stage contains the same mechanics as the first stage.

Darkmaster Gandling

The final boss you face is Darkmaster Gandling, the backbone of the entire Scholomance, and therefore presents a greater challenge. Although it’s a single-stage fight, he periodically teleports a random member to one of six Study Rooms, where they face the same monsters.

If you’re a tank, you’ll need to kill the monsters quickly to unlock the door and protect your team’s DPS or healers from being killed by the monsters. In these study rooms, Darkmaster will imprison the former test subject in a nearby room and inflict Explosive Pain.

After removing Explosive Pain effect from the new test subject, he unleashes a magical energy explosion, dealing 20 Shadow damage to the former test subject within an 8-yard radius. Furthermore, during the fight, the boss will summon a group of Failed Students to attack you in a group.

In these situations, you can only avoid taking significant damage by dodging or moving as much as possible, or pick up Empty Polyformic Acid Vials to store potions to maintain your health and complete the dungeon’s achievements.

These are the current methods and strategies for clearing Scholomance Dungeon on Heroic difficulty in WoW MoP Classic. Hopefully, with the help of this guide, you can complete it quickly and claim the reward of a fascinating mount. Also, be sure to collect as many Honor and Justice Points as possible to redeem them for better gear later on. Happy gaming!

WoW MoP Classic Windwalker Monk Specialization Guide: How To Increase Damage Effectiveness? - Races, Talents, And Professions

WoW MoP Classic Windwalker Monk Specialization Guide: How To Increase Damage Effectiveness? - Races, Talents, And Professions

In this week’s player-selected list of the best DPS in WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 1, it’s surprising to find that the previously little-known Windwalker Monk specialization has quietly made it into the top three and has become a staple in many raid-intensive groups.

If you’re looking for a DPS with strong combat capabilities and excellent survivability, Windwalker Monk may be the perfect choice for your current game. However, before you begin exploring its capabilities, it’s essential to learn more about the various options currently available for this specialization, including races, talents, and professions.

WoW MoP Classic Windwalker Monk Specialization Guide: How To Increase Damage Effectiveness? - Races, Talents, And Professions

Specialization Overview

Before we delve into the available options, let’s first take a look at Windwalker Monk, a specialization with tremendous potential. Thanks to its stackable cleave ability, this specialization offers a significant advantage against single-target enemies in raids.

Furthermore, Windwalker Monk can unleash a well-timed slashing attack, making it incredibly effective in destroying groups of enemies. And its Tigereye Brew ability is stackable too, allowing you to fine-tune when to use its cooldown and achieve sustained damage.

These impressive abilities, combined with its high mobility, make Windwalker Monk one of the most popular and sought-after DPS characters among players.

Of course, Windwalker Monk does have some drawbacks. For example, its early burst damage isn’t sufficient in some boss encounters, as it only reaches significant damage potential in the mid and late-game after reaching a certain number of stacks.

It is also a pity that this specialization can use only one of the single attack or area attack at a time, and cannot be used at the same time. This will result in the inability to quickly clear them and obtain more WoW MoP Classic Gold when fighting against bosses or enemies that summon small minions to cause additional damage.

Race Options

Since the racial selection in WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic doesn’t impact specialization as much as in previous expansions, you can choose any race for your Windwalker Monk, as long as you choose your faction.

However, given the lore revealed in this new expansion, Pandaren race is the ancestor of Monk class, so the best choice here is undoubtedly Pandaren. Below are some recommended racial options and their specific effectiveness.

Pandaren

While Pandaren lacks powerful active racial, Epicurean passive racial can easily double the stat gains from Well Fed, and the effectiveness of this racial increases with higher-level recipes, up to a maximum of 300 Agility per build.

As long as you maintain a healthy Windwalker Monk’s health and maintain the benefits of other gear, this Agility will provide you with consistent flexibility. Another racial worth noting is Quaking Palm, which disorients enemies for 4 seconds after casting, making it very useful in PvP.

Orc

In fact, Orcs have been a popular race choice for Monks for several expansions, thanks to their powerful Blood Fury ability, which allows you to optimize the cooldown based on your preferred attack power. And don’t forget Axe Specialization, which grants you an additional 1% proficiency with your axe or fist weapon, a significant bonus.

Human

Humans are an excellent race choice for Alliance players because their Will to Survive perk effectively reduces the duration of stuns in PvP, giving you a greater advantage in combat.

Talents & Glyph Options

Next up are the crucial talents and glyphs for Windwalker Monk. Since players currently primarily use this for single-target combat, the recommendations here are tailored to that playstyle.

WOW MOP Classic Gold Hot Sale At EZG.com

If you’re looking to develop a stronger DPS for group damage, you can also add other talents and improve them as much as possible. Below are recommended talent options for levels 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90, as well as Major and Minor glyph choices.

  • Level 15: Celerity, Tiger’s Lust And Momentum
  • Level 30: Chi Wave, Zen Sphere And Chi Burst
  • Level 45: Power Strikes, Ascension And Chi Brew
  • Level 60: Ring of Peace, Charging Ox Wave And Leg Sweep
  • Level 75: Healing Elixirs, Dampen Harm And Diffuse Magic
  • Level 90: Rushing Jade Wind, Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger And Chi Torpedo

Major

  • Glyph Of Spinning Crane Kick
  • Glyph Of Touch Of Karma
  • Glyph Of Zen Flight

Minor

  • Glyph Of Blackout Kick
  • Glyph Of Water Roll
  • Glyph Of Zen Meditation

Professions

The final section introduces the professions you can choose for your Windwalker Monk. Like races, these professions have little impact on your character’s in-game performance, so you can choose based on your preferences.

However, we recommend prioritizing Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, and Tailoring, as these are three professions that offer significant benefits in MoP Classic. Here are the effects they have.

Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing, which provides additional gear slots, is the one you should focus on the most. This allows you to equip more bracers or gloves in your specialization, achieving greater defensive capabilities, which are often lacking for DPS players.

WoW MoP Classic Blacksmithing

Jewelcrafting

This profession arguably offers the most lucrative potential of these recommended options. Serpent’s Eyes provides not only significantly increases your agility, but also fetches a high price on Auction House, allowing you to sell them for a significant amount of in-game gold.

Tayloring

While the excellent items crafted by Tailoring profession cannot be assembled, Swordguard Embroidery it provides is invaluable to Windwalker Monk, significantly improving their melee abilities and reducing their cooldowns.

These are the best races, talents, glyphs, and professions for Windwalker Monk in WoW MoP Classic. The properties and effects of these options may change after the end of Phase 1 or after the release of the next new content (raids and dungeons), so please check the latest updates. Happy gaming!

WoW MoP Classic Justice Points Detailed Guide: How To Earn And Use This Essential Currency?

WoW MoP Classic Justice Points Detailed Guide: How To Earn And Use This Essential Currency?

Although PvE in World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria Classic doesn’t offer the same level of challenge as PvP, this battle mode offers a variety of currencies that are essential for your exploration, including Justice Points, Valor Points, and August Stone Fragments, which is one new currency type introduced with Celestial Dungeons.

Of these currencies, Justice Points are the most important, as they can be used to obtain Heirlooms, which grant bonus experience points and valuable gear. Best of all, with the release of new content like Throne of Thunder and Phase 3, this essential currency can be used to obtain epic gear of even higher rarity.

WoW MoP Classic Justice Points Detailed Guide: How To Earn And Use This Essential Currency?

Given the importance of Justice Points, this guide will detail how to earn and use them in WoW MoP Classic, allowing you to easily complete all in-game PvE and PvP quests and advance your exploration progress. It’s worth noting that the maximum number of Justice Points you can store in-game is 4,000.

Farming Methods

Similar to previous WoW Classic expansions, you can earn Justice Points by completing dungeons and raids in Mists of Pandaria expansion. After reaching the level cap of 90, you can earn this currency by running Scenarios or farming bosses in Heroic Dungeons.

It’s important to note that you must meet the required character and item levels to access Heroic Dungeons and higher-level challenges. However, since you are eager to farm Justice Points frequently, it’s important to focus on damage and survivability while also investing some WoW MoP Classic Gold to reduce your ability cooldowns and achieve consistent damage.

Here’s how many Justice Points each source can earn you in-game, from least to most:

  • Greater Cache of Treasures In Scenarios: 50 (assuming they don’t contain gear)
  • Random Regular Dungeons: 60
  • Bosses In Heroic Dungeon: 100

While the total cap on Justice Points is 4,000, there’s no cap on how many you can earn each week, so you’ll want to make sure to spend some before major patches like new raids or new stages to ensure you have enough room to store the currency for future in-game content.

Additionally, you can exchange Valor Points and August Stone Fragments, as well as Honor Points for a certain amount of Justice Points at the corresponding vendors. However, directly exchanging them for the more valuable gear is more important for Phase 1, where you need to improve your game level and character strength.

Uses

Now that you know how to farm Justice Points, let’s move on to their specific uses. The first thing we’ll introduce is exchanging them for items of varying levels at Justice Points Gear Vendors, which is one of the most common uses. Here is a list of the item levels each component has.

  • Rare Armor & Weapons: Item Level 346
  • Some Epic Items: Item Level 359 & 378
  • Some Rare Items: Item Level 458
  • Every Heirloom Weapon & Armor

According to the current list of gear that can be exchanged for Justice Points listed by the developers, the number of each component required is between 1,250 and 2,200, which is very easy to achieve for players who have been exploring since the release of the main game. New players can farm as much as possible through some of the methods introduced above.

In addition, you need to know the location of each Justice Points Gear Vendor. Remember, they are faction-neutral and can be interacted with by both Horde and Alliance players.

  • 1. Commander Oxheart: Niuzao Temple in Townlong Steppes
  • 2. Ambersmith Zikk: Klaxxi’vess in Dread Wastes
  • 3. Jaluu the Generous: Mogu’shan Palace in Vale of Eternal Blossoms
  • 4. Rushi the Fox: Shado-Pan Garrison in Townlong Steppes
  • 5. Sage Whiteheart: Shrine of Seven Stars in Vale of Eternal Blossoms
  • 6. Sage Lotusbloom: Shrine of Two Moons in Vale of Eternal Blossoms

In addition to regular PvP gear, Heirlooms are also a type of item that is worth exchanging for Justice Points, including Chests, Shoulders, Weapons, and Trinkets.

With the help of these heirlooms, you can collect more experience points faster, and each item will give you different attribute gains, making it easier for your character to grow and cope with various challenges and tasks.

The most important thing is that you can only use this currency to upgrade these precious items from level 80 to 85, and different types of items require different points.

  • Armor Heirloom: 870
  • 1H - Weapon Heirloom: 870
  • Main Hand - Weapon Heirloom: 1090
  • 2H - Weapon Heirloom: 1400

However, they are basically most effective when you are around level 85-90, so you should redeem them as early as possible in the game and place them in your inventory for emergency use.

WOW MOP Classic Gold Hot Sale At EZG.com

Below is the location of each Heirloom Vendor. Again, they are all neutral, regardless of whether you are a Horde or Alliance player.

  • 1. Larisse Pembraux: Old Town in Stormwind City
  • 2. Zulna: Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar
  • 3. Dame Evniki Kapsalis: Argent Tournament in Icecrown
  • 4. Enchanter Isian: Dalaran
  • 5. Enchanter Erodin: Dalaran
  • 6. Brammold Deepmine: Dalaran

Beyond these two common uses, you can also exchange 375 Justice Points for 250 Honor Points, which can be redeemed for Honor gear pieces that provide additional stat boosts to your character, making them particularly useful in the mid-to-late game.

Furthermore, 600 Justice Points can be exchanged for Motes of Harmony, each ten can be crafted into a Spirit of Harmony, which can be redeemed for Golden Lotus Reputation Points, unlocking even greater rewards and benefits.

This concludes the current guide to farming and using Justice Points in WoW MoP Classic. Hopefully, both longtime fans of the expansion and new players drawn to the game for its exciting content will be able to earn more useful rewards from this primary currency and have the best possible gaming experience. Happy gaming!

WoW MoP Classic 2 Biggest Complaints From Players: Is There Any Way To Save This Expansion?

WoW MoP Classic 2 Biggest Complaints From Players: Is There Any Way To Save This Expansion?

It’s been over three weeks since the release of World of Warcraft’s new expansion, Mists of Pandaria Classic. Players are already midway through Phase 1, which is already actively being explored. According to the developer’s roadmap, the next phase is even likely to be released by the end of this month.

Based on the current trajectory of the gaming industry, Mists of Pandaria Classic should be a rising star. Unfortunately, despite the developer’s deliberate delays in releasing the game’s first raid and a new dungeon, player reaction to the expansion remains extremely negative.

WoW MoP Classic 2 Biggest Complaints From Players: Is There Any Way To Save This Expansion?

Current Situation

Based on player feedback across major gaming platforms and within the community, many people who initially tried Mists of Pandaria Classic for its new expansion and intriguing storyline have abandoned it after a few weeks (an average of two weeks), turning to more established games like Old School Runescape or Turtle WoW.

This situation is detrimental to both players and developers: players can’t find more effective allies for teamwork-intensive tasks like completing raids and clearing dungeons; and developers can’t generate corresponding revenue from attracting new players.

Based on the current comments, here are two complaints that players have repeatedly mentioned, and some feasible solutions have been proposed. Although there is no guarantee that the developers will see and respond in time, it is also very good to act as a megaphone for the players.

Complaint 1: Excessive Grinding

The primary complaint from players is that grinding and farming in the game are extremely cumbersome and require excessive effort, whether it’s gear, experience points, or Mists of Pandaria Classic gold. While this process was necessary during Phase 1, especially before the release of Mogu’shan Vaults, it was simply too difficult.

While the explorable content in Throne of Thunder, Siege of Orgrimmar, and Timeless Isle is very compelling, the character levels required are prohibitively high. At levels 85-90, players can’t earn enough experience and gold to improve their character’s level and power in a single run, often requiring four or five resets to advance a level.

Under these circumstances, even high-level players who are adept at farming XP and understanding the rules of the game can become exhausted by the endless grind. Even the incredibly rich loot offered by Celestial Dungeons, which just launched two days ago, can’t rekindle their interest in exploration.

This can even lead to a vicious cycle - players become frustrated by their inability to defeat bosses or complete dungeons, prompting developers to quickly release new content, but its difficulty remains high, significantly hindering the exploration of players who actively level up their alt-characters and grind for gear to share with their main accounts.

WoW MoP Classic Celestial Dungeons

While adjustments to the game’s difficulty will undoubtedly occur in WoW Classic MoP patch 5.3 or later, the overall number of active players will probably be significantly reduced by that time. Therefore, developers can consider providing players with cumulative experience bonuses for each level gained in subsequent content, which can be used to level up their characters.

Or, improve the quality or quantity of rewards offered for each accessible content. For example, in Celestial Dungeons, add more PvP gear and a large amount of in-game gold. This allows players to increase their specialization skills after successfully completing a dungeon, allowing them to quickly enter PvP content and earn more rewards, thus making their grind feel worthwhile.

As for regular player farming for Reputation Points, Valor Points, and Profession levels, it’s best to reduce its difficulty by patch 5.2 or before Heart of Fear raid launches. This will alleviate the pain of grinding for gear in the early game, increase interest in the new content, and make exploring it less of a chore.

Complaint 2: Too Many Bugs

Another complaint from player reviews is the constant occurrence of various game lags and crashes during exploration. This is unacceptable for a game with over 20 years of development history and a firm foundation of excellent original expansions.

Furthermore, since the release of WoW Classic Mists of Pandaria, the developers have been releasing hotfixes two or three times a week, each covering various areas such as classes, raids, dungeons, quests, and quality of life. While these updates are perfectly normal for MMOs, the frequency is exceptionally high.

Not only does this make many aspects of the game unfamiliar to players who have limited time to explore Pandaria after a long hiatus, but it also hinders players who log in daily and work hard to improve their characters, making it difficult to accurately formulate strategies, like farming MoP Classic gold, which is detrimental to player retention.

WOW MOP Classic Gold Hot Sale At EZG.com

Although this is a common problem for all games released by this developer, and it is difficult to solve all in-game problems at once, it is still sincerely suggested that the developer can shut down the game before all players enter Phase 2 or Phase 3, and solve all the current complaints in the first patch after the server is launched, just like POE, but it cannot not update new leagues like it for nearly a year.

These are the two most common player complaints about WoW MoP Classic, along with some suggestions for developers. While developing and releasing a game is no easy feat, it’s unbelievable that a developer with such extensive experience and experience could produce a game that fails to satisfy both new players and longtime fans. Anyway, happy gaming!

WoW MoP Classic Shado-Pan Monastery Dungeon Details: How To Complete It Successfully? - Challenges & Quests

WoW MoP Classic Shado-Pan Monastery Dungeon Details: How To Complete It Successfully? - Challenges & Quests

In Mists of Pandaria Classic, the latest installment in WoW Classic series, six new dungeons are available for regular exploration. Each offers highly engaging gameplay and has received widespread acclaim from players. Shado-Pan Monastery Dungeon is one of them.

Compared to other dungeons, Shado-Pan Monastery’s interior design is quite simple, consisting of three buildings, each with its own sub-map and boss. Between buildings, you can use ground mounts to reduce exploration time.

Despite its straightforward design, the dungeon’s monsters range from a minimum level of 87 to a maximum of 89, making the encounters incredibly challenging. Players have even called this dungeon the perfect stepping stone to reaching the character level cap and unlocking endgame content.

WoW MoP Classic Shado-Pan Monastery Dungeon Details: How To Complete It Successfully? - Challenges & Quests

Therefore, before embarking on your exploration, it’s essential to review the challenges and quests within Shado-Pan Monastery, as well as the precautions to take into account. This will help you navigate the dungeon more smoothly and effortlessly.

Overview

Shado-Pan Monastery Dungeon is located on the northwest peak of Kun-Lai Summit in northern Pandaria. It requires an item level of 393 in Normal mode and 435 or higher in Heroic mode.

Quest List

Shado-Pan Monastery only contains three quests: Into the Monastery, The Path to Respect Lies in Violence, and Lord of the Shado-Pan. Below are the specific instructions and steps for completing each quest.

Into The Monastery

This quest is the first and easiest quest you encounter upon entering the dungeon. Simply enter Shado-Pan Monastery and speak to Ban Bearheart at the entrance to complete it.

Completing this quest will reward you with 16,200 experience, 25 reputation with Shado-Pan, some WoW MoP Classic Gold, and coins.

The Path To Respect Lies In Violence

In this quest, you must defeat one of the dungeon’s most significant bosses, Sha of Violence. It feeds on the brutality of Horde and Alliance and is wreaking havoc on the monks who stand in its way throughout the monastery.

In addition to the standard rewards of MoP in-game gold, experience, and reputation, this quest also rewards each class with a different armor-type item, which can be placed in Waist slot.

Lord Of The Shado-Pan

This quest, encountered during the final stages of your Shado-Pan Monastery exploration, pits you against Taran Zhu, formerly one of the most pragmatic and powerful leaders of Shado-Pan faction, but tainted by Sha of Hatred, he has become vengeful towards all life.

Your final mission in this battle is to defeat Taran Zhu and purge him of Sha of Violence, thereby changing his perspective on everything and everyone around him and allowing him to once again protect his beloved home.

Compared to the first two missions, the final mission rewards you with significantly more gold, experience, and reputation points. Therefore, if you’re aiming to clear this dungeon in one go, consider focusing on Taran Zhu to improve your specialization, such as defensive or offensive abilities.

Boss List

In fact, in addition to the bosses from the two missions just mentioned, Shado-Pan Monastery offers two more bosses: Gu Cloudstrike and Master Snowdrift.

Their combat mechanics remain the same across Normal and Heroic modes, with only health and damage increased. Therefore, we’ll introduce the combat moves each boss possesses to give you an edge.

Gu Cloudstrike

Before Sha’s escape, Gu Cloudstrike was a trainer assigned to Shado-Pan faction to train its elite spellcasters. Unfortunately, this once-gentle and reserved Pandaren focused too much on unleashing his incredible power, with disastrous consequences.

The battle against this boss is divided into three stages: First, Gu summons an Azure Serpent that deals extra damage to the player, deals 25 nature damage to a random nearby player, and deals 34 nature damage to all players within 5 yards of the target.

In the second stage, Gu Cloudstrike enters a meditative state, becoming immune to all damage. Azure Serpent will then be your main source of damage. It then casts Magnetic Shroud on each player, absorbing 41 points of healing from you and dealing 3 Nature damage every 1 second.

If you run out of healing, Magnetic Shroud is forcibly removed, and allies within 20 yards receive 20 points of healing divided by the healing of the raid’s number of players. Additionally, while airborne, the Azure Serpent will unleash Lightning Breath in a 45-degree cone in front of him, dealing 25 nature damage every 0.5 seconds for a total of 2 seconds.

Defeating Azure Serpent will return Gu Cloudstrike to the battlefield, periodically dealing large amounts of nature damage to nearby enemies. The damage rate is proportional to the amount of damage lost by the boss. This attack lasts until its health is depleted.

Master Snowdrift

Like the previous boss, you must first deal with some of Master Snowdrift’s disciples before officially confronting him, as only the victors will be able to fight him. Similarly, the fight with this martial arts master is divided into three phases.

Initially, Master Snowdrift will use his fists to deal 33 Fire damage to each player struck, and then perform a spin kick to create a tornado that deals 44 Physical damage and has a knockback effect.

In its second phase, the boss begins dealing elemental damage: it throws a Ball of Fire at you, dealing 61 fire damage to all players in its path. Then, in its third phase, Master Snowdrift unleashes its grappling and counterattack abilities.

WOW MOP Classic Gold Hot Sale At EZG.com

For example, Tornado Slam inflicts 60% of the player’s maximum health in physical damage to the player it grabs. And while in Parry Stance, the boss also uses Quivering Palm, dealing 22 points of physical damage and stunning players in melee range for 2 seconds.

As you can see from these combat moves, Master Snowdrift is a boss with a wide range of damage types. Therefore, it’s worthwhile to increase your character’s multi-defense abilities before facing it, regardless of Classic MoP gold it costs.

Sha Of Violence

The next two bosses in this mission have no phased encounters. Sha of Violence will alternate between dealing Shadow and weapon damage over 4-5 moves.

However, it’s important to note that this boss frequently uses crowd control moves, so ensure your Specializations are highly flexible during the encounter, as you risk losing significant health from a single crowd control.

Also, be especially wary of this boss’s Sha Spike, which deals 17 points of Shadow damage and knocks you back. Most importantly, when the spike returns to the ground, it releases a surge of volatile energy that continuously attacks all players for 30 seconds.

Taran Zhu

Taran Zhu boss fight features a unique mechanic: Hatred. Because Sha of Hatred possesses this boss, its hatred builds up as the boss takes damage. When it reaches full, it unleashes Haze of Hate, trapping you and your allies in it. This ability can only be dispelled with Meditate.

Besides this mechanic, Taran Zhu’s damage abilities are primarily Shadow and Poison-related. The only ability of concern is Grip of Hate, which significantly reduces the distance to all players within 60 yards and inflicts continuous melee damage. To avoid its effects, stay as far away from the boss as possible and be mindful of your positioning.
