Artale: This Old School Server Will Take You Back To The Classic MapleStory Journey!

Artale is an Old School server that rebuilds MapleStory Worlds, where players can create their own games using MapleStory assets. Here we will talk about some of the changes and noteworthy features of MapleStory Artale.

Nov 19, 2024 Author: EZG

Adventurers, the long-awaited Old School MapleStory is finally back! As the first server to rebuild the old school, Artale is online in MapleStory Worlds, where you can create your own game using MapleStory resources.

However, it differs slightly from ordinary old school servers. It is not just a simple reproduction of Old School MapleStory, because there will be some surprising changes!

Artale: This Old School Server Will Take You Back To The Classic MapleStory Journey!

New Changes

Since this is a game completely rebuilt using the game creator of MapleStory Worlds, the physics effects in the game may be slightly different. For example, when your character falls from a certain height and the map needs to keep up, you will notice this, and UI also looks slightly different.

In addition, the creator of this server tried to eliminate some annoyances of Old School MapleStory. For example, Assassin and Archer will not start to regularly attack monsters that are too close, and your pet will never go hungry.

Free Market

It is worth mentioning that the fun Free Market is back! But since only 50 players can be online in one instance of the game, there are no shops set up. Instead, the game uses an Auction House, just like modern MapleStory. In Free Market, you can also visit a cash shop, where you can support the server.

Increased EXP Rate

After entering Artale, you will notice that leveling in this server is a little faster than you remember, because they have slightly increased EXP rate. There is double EXP from level 1 to level 70, and 1.5 times EXP from level 71 to level 100. But the drop rate of Artale Mesos remains the same.

And of course there is the nostalgic Party Quest. Currently, there are Moon Bunny PQ or Henesys PQ and Kerning PQ. The rewards for PQ have also been increased, and you will get double EXP through PQ. Therefore, this is also a good leveling option, in my opinion!

Party Quest

For Party Quest in Artale server, the global soft launch has already made quite a lot of content available! Victoria Island, Orbis, El Nath, Dead Mine, Ludibrium, and Zipangu are all there. Zakum and Papulatus are both coming later. They have been slightly modified to make the fights more exciting.

Grinding Tips

Even with the double EXP, grinding is still slow. However, it’s more fun than a 30 minute cutscene when creating Explorers now. If you’re also grinding on Artale MapleStory at a lower level, I recommend going to the hidden map on the way to Mushmom. It’s small, and there are a lot of Orange Mushrooms here, making it a perfect grinding spot for this level. If you’re lucky, you even have a chance to find a Scroll here.

If you want to make your grinding more efficient, you can find a Work Glove and some Gloves for Attack Scrolls. You can also invest in Artale Mesos to get an Icarus Cape, so you can move a little faster.

Final Thoughts

Currently, Artale is the first and only old school server officially released on MapleStory Worlds. There are a lot of people waiting for MapleLand, which is currently very popular in MapleStory Worlds Korea, because it is just a 1-to-1 copy of Old School MapleStory without any additional changes. We just rely on the development teams of these games to port the games to the global version of MapleStory Worlds.

But until now, there is no confirmation that the team is working on a global release for MapleStory Worlds. So for now we will use Artale, and it also touches on the nostalgia point.

Another cool thing coming to Artale MapleStory Worlds is mobile cross-platform play. When you are craving for some Orange Mushroom on your way to work, you can also play Artale on your mobile phone. It has not been released yet, but at least it is coming soon!

In short, this Artale server gives players the opportunity to relive the classic nostalgic adventure of Old School MapleStory, and on this basis, it adds new changes to the game, eliminating the annoyances of players in the old school server. Do you think this MapleStory Artale is worth trying? See you next time!

Best Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening Build? Chaos Storm Druid Dominates Leveling and Endgame

Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening officially launches tomorrow. After a series of adjustments and nerfs, which build is the best choice for the new season? Barbarian? It is certainly powerful; even with nerfs to its core skills, its endgame viability remains high.

However, today I want to introduce a build that is not only powerful in the endgame but also allows you to pull ahead during the early-game progression phase, balancing map-clearing speed with efficient mob farming: Chaos Storm Druid.

In practical testing, this build handles Tier 5 boss fights with ease and is suitable for almost every game mode in Season 14 without requiring any Diablo 4 Mythic Uniques. Below, we will detail the configuration of Chaos Storm Druid build.

Core Skills

Chaos Storm Druid revolves around channeling the primary skill, Lightning Storm, to deal sustained, wide-area damage. The radius of Lightning Storm expands based on stacks of Ferocity, which are generated via Lucky Hit processes.

Its primary skills include:

1. Lightning Storm

The build's core offensive skill, capable of efficiently clearing maps through massive area-of-effect damage.

2. Wind Shear

Provides resource generation for Chaos Storm Druid. Upon hitting enemies, it grants a barrier based on a percentage of your maximum health and provides a movement speed bonus.

3. Wolves

Summons two wolves to attack enemies. Hits grant Fortify (boosting defense), but the most important feature is the passive buff providing a 40% attack speed increase-highly beneficial for players in the early stages of the season when character levels and gear quality are still low.

4. Earthen Bulwark

A core defensive skill with a short cooldown; it provides a powerful barrier and grants Unstoppable status.

5. Poison Creeper

A high-burst damage and crowd-control skill. It immobilizes enemies in a large area and applies Poisoned status, triggering mechanics that deal increased damage to poisoned targets.

6. Cataclysm

This is Ultimate skill for Chaos Storm Druid and boasts exceptional crowd-control capabilities. Upon activation, it unleashes a massive storm that deals immense burst damage; in the endgame, once your gear is fully optimized, it can even clear entire screens of enemies with a single cast.

Spirit Boons

Spirit Boons are a core passive system unique to Druid and a fundamental component of Chaos Storm Druid build. Selecting the right Spirits will provide your character with significant boosts to critical hit chance and damage output.

1. Eagle

For Eagle Spirit, choose Scythe Talons. Following the adjustments in Diablo 4 Season 14, this provides a 10% bonus to your critical hit chance.

2. Deer

For Deer Spirit, select Gift of the Stag. This directly increases your Maximum Spirit by 30 points; since Lightning Storm consumes a large amount of Spirit in the early game, Gift of the Stag helps mitigate this issue.

3. Wolf

For Wolf Spirit, choose Calamity. Its primary effect is extending the duration of Chaos Storm Druid's Ultimate skill, Cataclysm.

Items & Aspects

Equipping the right Aspects is equally important. To ensure Chaos Storm Druid maximizes its damage output and shores up any weaknesses during Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening, I have recommended an optimal Aspect for each gear slot.

1. Helmet

I recommend using Overcharged Aspect. It applies Vulnerable status to enemies and increases the damage dealt to Vulnerable targets.

2. Chest Armor

Use Aspect of Tempering Blows. It grants a substantial amount of Fortify and increases your health regeneration rate while Fortified.

3. Gloves

Aspect of the Followed Path. Skills cast while in Human Form deal 45%–60% increased damage (calculated as an independent multiplier).

4. Pants

Aspect of Might. This is a versatile defensive Aspect that provides a 20% damage reduction after you cast a skill, bolstering Chaos Storm Druid's survivability.

5. Boots

For boots, you can equip Great Storm Aspect. Its core function relies on Lucky Hit; as mentioned earlier, it allows you to stack Ferocity. Additionally, it reduces incoming damage by 15%. While primarily a utility Aspect, it also serves a defensive purpose.

6. Weapon

This is the most critical component. I recommend Aspect of the Expectant, as it is one of the few Aspects in Diablo 4 that provides a massive independent multiplicative damage bonus to your primary offensive skill. The damage boost can stack up to 30%, which is key to Chaos Storm Druid's ability to clear screens with a single button press in the late game.

Runewords and Gems

For Chaos Storm Druid in Diablo 4 Season 14, I recommend Ahu + Que and Yul + Yax Runeword combinations. These allow you to boost clear speed through frequent skill casting during the early game, when your gear level and raw damage output might not yet be optimal.

Gem requirements are not strict in the early game-where the focus is on clearing and leveling speed-but slotting a Sapphire into your pants is highly recommended to amplify the build's damage. For jewelry, use Emeralds, Rubies, or Topazes; for weapons, use a Topaz or a Diamond to boost the damage of all your skills.

Items

Regarding the gear I haven't specifically detailed yet: as mentioned earlier, this build has no rigid gear-level requirements. You simply need items that match your character level and synergize with Chaos Storm playstyle-such as Unsung Ascetic's Wraps, Duran's Ring, and Airidah's Inexorable Will.

Duran's Ring, in particular, is a new Mythic Unique in Diablo 4 Season 14 that is exceptionally well-suited for Chaos Storm Druid (providing a permanent 92% independent multiplicative damage boost).

You can craft it yourself by gathering the base item and upgrade materials, or-once the season launches - buy Diablo 4 Duran's Ring from EZG.com for a safe, fast, and cost-effective option, especially early in the season.

As for Glyphs and Paragon Boards, choose Fulminate and Thunderstruck.

The former grants +5 Dexterity and +2% Lightning damage within the skill radius, along with a 12% damage boost against enemies, significantly enhancing Chaos Storm Druid's lightning capabilities. The latter provides a 5% Critical Strike Chance and additional skill damage bonuses.

With this setup, you can effectively handle monsters up to T5 difficulty right from the early game. If you have any questions, feel free to follow EZG Facebook, where we also host free giveaways for in-game resources.

In short, this Chaos Storm Druid build is undeniably a T0 setup for clearing content in Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening; it does not rely on specific gear or resource management, yet-thanks solely to its inherent mechanics and configuration-it delivers the kind of power typically reserved for endgame-caliber builds.

WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3: Who Should Get Warglaive of Azzinoth First, Warrior or Rogue?

The allocation of Warglaive of Azzinoth has always been one of the most contentious topics within guilds. Since the opening of PTR for WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3, Warglaive has remained a subject of heated debate. Almost every guild grapples with the question whether to prioritize Warriors or Rogues.

This issue involves various factors, including class scaling, raid utility, gear stats, AoE capabilities, and progression in future phases. When considering the overall benefit to the raid team, Warriors actually hold a higher priority than Rogues.

Of course, there is a fundamental caveat: in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3, the player is always more important than the class. If one member performs poorly with DPS far below average, while another consistently delivers solid results, Warglaive should naturally go to the latter, rather than being awarded based solely on class.

Damage Output

When looking strictly at single-target DPS against a target dummy, Warriors and Rogues are quite close; however, Warriors maintain a slight overall advantage. Their single-target damage on most bosses is marginally higher than that of Rogues, and this performance gap becomes even more pronounced among high-level players.

In Phase 3 The Black Temple, Warriors not only boast higher single-target DPS but also provide powerful raid-wide AoE capabilities, making their overall value higher.

Hit Mechanics

In Phase 3, Rogues face significant gear constraints regarding Hit rating. Because dual-wielding classes have a 28% hit cap for off-hand attacks, Rogues must invest heavily in gear and gems to stack Hit rating and ensure their auto-attacks consistently land.

Since auto-attacks are a Rogue's primary source of damage - and also trigger numerous talent effects and energy regeneration - Hit rating is absolutely critical for them.

In contrast, Warriors benefit from the unique mechanics of Heroic Strike and Cleave. These abilities alter how auto-attacks are calculated in TBC Classic; consequently, Warriors do not need to chase high auto-attack hit rates like Rogues do, needing only to meet the hit requirements for their special abilities.

As a result, Warriors can allocate more of their gear budget to pure DPS states - such as Armor Penetration and Critical Strike - rather than wasting it on Hit rating. With Tier 6 content in WoW BCC Anniversary Phase 3, armor penetration began appearing frequently on gear, marking the period of a Warrior's most rapid power scaling.

Since nearly all of a warrior's damage is physical, armor penetration directly boosts their total output. In contrast, Rogues must still prioritize meeting hit rating requirements, meaning their overall scaling potential lags significantly behind that of Warriors.

Trash Clearing

When discussing Warglaives of Azzinoth, many players focus solely on boss damage while overlooking the fact that trash mobs consume the bulk of a raid's time. Mount Hyjal consists almost entirely of trash encounters, and Black Temple also features a very high density of mobs - some of which are far more challenging than many bosses.

This is precisely where Warriors demonstrate their greatest advantage. Against multiple targets, Warriors utilize abilities like Cleave, Whirlwind, and Sweeping Strikes to easily outpace Rogues by nearly 1,000 DPS, making them arguably the strongest melee AoE class in TBC Classic.

Rogues, on the other hand, possess only one true AoE ability: Blade Flurry. While it lasts 15 seconds, it comes with a lengthy two-minute cooldown. Beyond that, Rogues lack consistent multi-target damage capabilities, relegating them mostly to the role of high-performing single-target damage dealers.

Giving Warglaives to a Warrior not only boosts boss damage but, more importantly, significantly improves the raid's efficiency in clearing trash. For speed-running groups, saving a few seconds on each trash pack can shave ten to twenty minutes off the total dungeon run time - a benefit far more valuable than finishing a boss fight a few seconds faster.

Benefits

The true power of Warglaives lies not just in their high base stats, but in their legendary set bonus. This effect periodically grants a massive Haste boost lasting 10 seconds - an effect even stronger than a Haste Potion and one of the most powerful buffs in TBC.

Some argue that Rogues benefit more from Haste, but that is not the case. Rogues rely on an energy system; while increased attack speed boosts off-hand attacks and triggers Combat Potency more frequently, their overall output remains ultimately limited by energy regeneration rates.

Warriors operate differently. They use Rage as a resource, and that Rage is generated directly through auto-attacks. Faster attacks generate rage more quickly, enabling the use of abilities like Heroic Strike and Cleave more frequently, which helps the team clear content and farm WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Gold more efficiently.

PvP Advantages

Many TBC Classic Anniversary players advocate for Rogues to receive Warglaive of Azzinoth first, often citing their superior PvP capabilities. However, from a raid team's perspective, this is not a valid reason to determine loot priority.

A PvE team's primary concern is raid efficiency, not whether a specific member can use Warglaive to boost their Arena ranking. Unless the guild is PvP-focused, PvP utility does not directly enhance the team's overall performance, making it an insufficient basis for Warglaive allocation.

Guild Allocation Strategies

For most TBC guilds, the most sensible approach is to announce allocation rules in advance rather than making ad-hoc decisions after the item drops.

Guilds must also consider member retention. In the past, players have left for stronger guilds after obtaining Warglaive of Azzinoth; therefore, teams should assess whether a member is worth long-term investment to avoid losing such a legendary item.

If you would like to stay updated on the latest news regarding WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3, please follow EZG Facebook; we will post all the latest updates promptly.

When considering single-target DPS, gear scaling, armor penetration benefits, rage mechanics, Haste effects, and raid-wide AoE efficiency in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3 The Black Temple, Warriors are generally better suited than Rogues to be the top priority for Warglaive of Azzinoth.

Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.5: Market Shift Shows Players Are Losing Divine Orbs on the Wrong Amulet Base

In PoE 2 Patch 0.5, the crafting craze surrounding "Added Skill Level" amulets has resulted in an anomalous market structure.

The market price for Cast on Critical base - which entails higher crafting costs and more complex procedures - is nearly double that of Archmage base; yet, in terms of actual compatibility and affix efficiency, the latter holds the advantage.

This price inversion is not merely a simple market fluctuation but the result of the interplay between community information dissemination and prevailing crafting habits.

An analysis of high-end gear trade records, affix weight tables, and crafting costs reveals that many players are paying a significant premium for gear with a lower theoretical maximum output.

Conflict Between Build Archetype and Affixes

Mechanic Mismatch

The core issue with using Cast on Critical as an amulet base is the disruption of its synergy with Dialla's Desire. When Cast on Critical is socketed in an amulet, the skill no longer consumes Spirit; consequently, the 90% Spirit cost multiplier and 5% Quality bonus provided by Dialla's Desire are rendered completely ineffective.

In a standard PoE 2 Return of the Ancients build, a Cast on Critical gem with 23% Quality - combined with Dialla's Desire and chest-piece runes - can reduce Spirit cost from 100 to approximately 76, saving about 24 Spirit. With the amulet-based setup, however, this benefit is entirely lost.

In contrast, Archmage builds derive full benefits simply by socketing the gem into the gear, incurring no such efficiency loss.

Affix Configuration Mismatch

As a Lightning skill, Archmage can benefit from stacking "+1 Lightning Skill Level" and "+2 All Spell Skill Levels" to achieve a total +3 skill level boost.

Conversely, "+3 All Skill Levels" provided by the amulet would be more effectively utilized by skills that lack other reliable sources of level bonuses - such as those within Charge Regulation system. Substituting the spell damage modifier with a mana percentage modifier in Cast on Critical setup further illustrates a shift in modifier utilization efficiency.

The 50% bonus from Caster Catalysts is applied to a non-core modifier, whereas the spell damage modifier has a lower weight than "mana percentage" - making it easier to roll. Structurally, this creates a further mismatch.

Anointment Allocation Issues

Zarokh's Gift serves as a general-purpose anointment suitable for various Energy Shield (ES) helmets, whereas Dominion or Invocated Efficiency are more specific to caster-oriented builds.

In PoE 2 Return of the Ancients market, a common practice involves applying Zarokh's Gift to amulets and Invocated Efficiency to helmets.

Essentially, this allocation uses a general-purpose anointment to lock in an amulet that is already caster-focused, while placing a caster-specific anointment on an ES helmet that could otherwise appeal to a broader range of classes.

From a market liquidity perspective, swapping these configurations could significantly expand the helmet's potential buyer base without sacrificing stat benefits.

Crafting Process Costs

Redundancy in Upfront Resource Investment

The current "fracture-then-craft" workflow in PoE 2 Return of the Ancients involves a significant issue regarding upfront resource consumption.

To obtain 50% Caster quality, the average cost involves approximately 9 base items, 72 Vault Catalyzing Infusers, and around 300 Chaos Orbs - an initial investment totaling roughly the value of 50 Path of Exile 2 Divine Orbs - yet the subsequent success rate for fracturing is only about one-third.

This means that before actual crafting begins, players have already consumed resources equivalent to nearly a quarter of a Mirror's value; this investment yields no direct stat improvements and serves solely to lock in key modifiers.

Modifier Weights

The modifier weight table in PoE 2 Patch 0.5 indicates that T1 mana percentage is Prefix with the highest weight on an item level 82 base - and is also a modifier exclusive to that item level.

Consequently, provided one has a base item with 50 Spirit, it is possible to use Orbs of Alteration to directly target a dual-prefix combination of T1 mana percentage and T1 flat mana.

Because T1 Mana is exclusive within this tier range - while other prefixes carry lower weights - the subsequent whittling process (gradually stripping away unwanted modifiers) becomes far more predictable.

This crafting path structurally bypasses the "fracturing" step, thereby eliminating the substantial costs associated with repeatedly preparing base items.

Stat Ceiling Potential

Crafting paths that do not rely on fracturing also offer a higher potential ceiling for endgame stats. Ideally, a piece of gear could simultaneously feature a combination of 220+ flat Mana, 10% increased Mana, +6 to Skill Levels, and 51% Cast Speed.

In contrast, the fracturing path requires locking in the modifier structure early on; consequently, Sanctifying phase can only affect a maximum of three modifiers, theoretically lowering the ultimate stat ceiling. This disparity manifests not only in economic efficiency but also directly affects the absolute quality limit of the gear.

Market Lag and Information Transmission

As an ARPG heavily reliant on community collaboration, the dissemination of high-end crafting strategies in PoE 2 is characterized by information concentration and significant latency. Once a strategy - even one that could potentially be proven suboptimal - gains widespread adoption, the market responds via price signals; however, this feedback often lags behind the actual investment of resources.

There is a distinct time gap as signals travel from the market to players and back again through player behavior. During this window, vast resources are often committed based on decision-making criteria that may already be obsolete.

If you'd like to stay updated on PoE 2, feel free to follow EZG Facebook. We post the latest news there first and host occasional giveaways.

The inverted pricing observed in PoE 2 amulet market following Return of the Ancients is essentially the result of an imbalance between the dissemination and the validation of crafting strategies.

Continued reliance on a single, experience-based approach - while ignoring the mathematical fundamentals of modifier structures and processing costs - will inevitably compromise decision-making efficiency.

Returning to the underlying mechanics of modifier weights and crafting costs is a crucial prerequisite for optimizing crafting decisions in PoE 2.

MLB The Show 26 Best Lineup Explained: Why Switch Hitters Are Essential?

While building the strongest lineup in MLB The Show 26 is undoubtedly appealing, it's crucial to understand that the strongest lineup is not static. With the continuous release of new cards, the game environment constantly evolves, meaning a dominant lineup this week might be slightly different a month later.

However, the core strategic value of an switch lineup remains a constant element in the competitive landscape.

Therefore, the positive impact of having a lineup entirely composed of switch hitters permeates almost every aspect of the game, from individual hitting opportunities to lineup building and match strategy.

This article will explain why having an switch hitters lineup is so important in MLB 26 and provide relevant player recommendations.

Value

Having an switch hitter is essential in any lineup. Its prevalence is primarily due to the shrinking PCI mechanic in MLB The Show 26. At higher difficulties like Hall of Fame and Legends, your PCI shrinks significantly, making hitting much more difficult.

In addition, your PCI shrinks further when facing a pitcher on the same side, putting you at a significant disadvantage. This often leads to frustrating results, such as being dominated by the same-side pitcher or receiving frequent low outside sliders.

switch hitters almost always allow you to hit from the side with the matchup advantage, maintaining a larger effective hitting distance and a more forgiving swing window. This reduces the impact of the shortened PCI, making your offense more consistent.

This strategic advantage also forces your opponents to adjust. A lineup composed entirely of switch hitters prevents them from using a strong left-handed specialist to counter your strong left-hander, or vice versa. This makes it difficult for them to make choices, forcing them to pitch from unfavorable positions, thus disrupting their bullpen management and late-game strategy.

Positive Impacts

The value of switch hitters in MLB The Show 26 extends far beyond a single hit. Building a team around them brings a range of positive impacts to your overall lineup.

Bench Optimization

It saves bench resources. In a traditional lineup, you might need to occupy multiple bench spots to field pinch hitters to counter the opponent's specialist hitters.

An switch lineup eliminates most of the need for bench players, allowing you to reserve your bench for true specialists: extremely fast pinchrunners, defensive stalwarts (suitable for late-game substitutions), or players for specific situations.

Consistency

The biggest advantage of switch hitters is the consistency they bring to your offense. The goal isn't to hit home runs every time, but to build a consistent, reliable, and difficult-to-crush offensive team. By reducing mismatch disadvantages, you can maintain a consistent hitting rhythm from the first pitch to the last, putting continuous pressure on the opposing pitcher.

Psychological and Strategic Pressure

Facing an switch lineup, your opponent will experience immense psychological pressure. This forces them to rethink every pitch, no longer relying on their preferred all-purpose pitch to hit to one side of the strike zone. They must constantly adjust, leading to mental fatigue and errors in nine innings.

Furthermore, this will prevent your opponent from establishing a comfortable rhythm. In a typical game, a pitcher might have confidence in a left-handed batter and pitch in a certain order. But against an switch batter, this pitching order may completely fail.

This constant need to adjust and adapt can frustrate your opponent, causing them to make poor pitch selections or even abandon their original MLB 26 game strategy altogether. You control the game, and that control itself is a powerful weapon.

Player Recommendations

While the game is constantly being updated, certain cards have become the cornerstone of any top switch batter lineup. Below are some switch batters recommended in this article that are worth spending MLB The Show 26 Stubs on for your reference.

1. Ketel Marte

He is widely considered the most versatile switch batter in the game, and this is no exaggeration. His swing is incredibly fluid, and his attributes combine batting average, power, and speed. What truly sets him apart is his positional flexibility - he can play second base, shortstop, or center field, allowing you to build a lineup around him.

2. Victor Martinez (99 OVR)

When you need that game-winning shot, V-Mart is the player you want to put at bat. His 99 overall rating card makes him a perfect hitting machine, providing top-tier batting averages and incredible power with both feet. He's the perfect fourth batter or designated hitter, making opponents pay for any mistakes.

3. Carlos Santana's Captain Card

This is the key to transforming a good lineup into a great one. The captain enhancement system in MLB The Show 26 is crucial. Santana is a formidable hitter, and his captain card significantly boosts the batting percentage and power of all your switch players. This synergy elevates the performance of every player in your lineup, turning what would otherwise be fly balls into home runs.

However, to build a complete team, you might need some players who bring more dimension. Elly De La Cruz is an incredibly athletic player who brings top-tier speed, power, and game-changing defense to the shortstop position.

Cole Carrigg is an underrated all-rounder who can play multiple positions, especially center field, where he can bring tremendous value to the team. Players like Jose Ramirez, Chase Headley, and Jorge Polanco are excellent options for the corner or backup positions, ensuring there are no weak links in the lineup.

If you want to know more, follow EZG Facebook, where there are occasional giveaways, so join us!

That's all for this article. In short, switch hitters dominate in MLB 26 because they provide unparalleled control and consistency, especially at the highest difficulty levels. This strategy can transform frustrating games into more controllable and predictable offensive performances, allowing you to climb the rankings ladder more effectively.

GTA 6 PS5 vs Xbox Pre-Orders: Is the 8:1 Sales Gap Actually True?

Grand Theft Auto VI has been mired in controversy almost daily in recent times. Hot on the heels of the revelation that the physical edition is merely a code in a box - prompting many players to say they would rather obtain the digital version - a new dispute has emerged regarding the game’s pre-order figures.

When GTA 6 pre-orders officially opened on August 25, a rapidly circulating statistic ignited discussion across the gaming community. Reports at the time claimed that PS5 pre-orders for GTA 6 were outpacing Xbox pre-orders by a ratio of 8 to 1. This figure spread like wildfire across major gaming outlets, leading many players to believe it proved PlayStation was completely crushing Xbox platform.

On the surface, such figures didn’t seem surprising. After all, PlayStation currently boasts a larger player base and has been actively promoting Grand Theft Auto VI, so many people readily accepted the claim.

Source of Data Questioned

However, it soon emerged that PS5 pre-orders are eight times higher than Xbox figure wasn’t as straightforward as the headlines suggested. Media reports revealed that the data actually stemmed from IGN’s internal affiliate link click statistics, rather than official, verified pre-order sales figures.

The data tracked how many times players clicked on GTA 6 links, not the number of orders where payment was actually completed. Yet, this crucial detail was overlooked by almost everyone who shared the story.

From social media platforms to various gaming outlets, 8:1 ratio was cited directly, leading many players to mistakenly believe that sales performance for Xbox version of Grand Theft Auto VI was dismal. Some media outlets even ran headlines claiming PS5 was completely crushing Xbox, causing the narrative to snowball rapidly.

Xbox Responds

Faced with mounting public pressure, Xbox took the rare step of publicly addressing the controversy. Media outlets reported receiving an official statement from a Xbox spokesperson.

The statement clarified that these figures did not represent actual GTA 6 pre-order data; furthermore, the company noted that it had achieved record-breaking pre-order results. They urged people to wait for genuine data rather than relying solely on link click counts.

For many players, this marked a rare instance of Xbox proactively stepping forward to address online speculation of this nature. In the past, when faced with negative discussions regarding Xbox, the company often chose to remain silent; this time, however, they explicitly stated that these figures do not reflect actual sales performance.

Xbox emphasized that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI on Xbox platform have also set records, dispelling the notion that there is no demand for Xbox version. PlayStation’s lead does not imply poor sales for Xbox.

In fact, even if PlayStation ultimately outsells Xbox, it does not mean Xbox is performing poorly. PlayStation currently boasts a larger installed user base, and combined with Sony’s sustained marketing efforts, it is entirely natural for PS5 version to lead in sales.

However, this is a completely different matter from Xbox failing to sell units. Official statements indicate that GTA 6 pre-orders on Xbox are also at record-breaking levels. If PlayStation’s figures are higher, it simply demonstrates that the overall market scale for Grand Theft Auto VI far exceeds expectations, rather than indicating Xbox failure.

Many prominent GTA 6 content creators have also stated their intention to play the game on Xbox; while there is currently no news regarding a PC version, this has not dampened the enthusiasm of Xbox players.

It is worth noting that this controversy surrounding GTA 6 pre-orders comes at a difficult time for Xbox. Microsoft recently announced another price hike for Xbox consoles, alongside news of studio closures, leaving Xbox community in a somewhat somber mood.

Consequently, when reports emerged that PS5 pre-orders were eight times higher than those for Xbox, many players naturally viewed this as yet another major blow to the platform. However, Xbox maintains that much of the recent discourse regarding GTA 6 sales is essentially a media storm fueled by flawed data.

There will undoubtedly be more attention-grabbing topics concerning Xbox in the coming weeks; while some criticisms may be valid, this instance is not one of them.

Digital Versions

Another key factor driving the rapid growth of Grand Theft Auto VI pre-order figures is that an increasing number of players are bypassing physical copies altogether. Previous reports indicated that neither PlayStation nor Xbox version of GTA 6 would include a traditional game disc; instead, the so-called physical edition is merely a box containing a digital download code.

For many GTA 6 players, since the full game requires an online download regardless, there is little point in making a trip to a retail store just to acquire a plastic case containing only a code.

As a result, a vast number of players have opted to pre-order the digital version directly, further fueling digital sales growth across both platforms. If the game case lacks even the map that traditionally came with GTA titles, the so-called physical edition is essentially nothing more than an empty box.

Note

Although pre-orders for the digital version of GTA 6 are already open, there is absolutely no need to pre-order months in advance, as digital games do not run out of stock. Many players prefer to wait until the week - or even the day - before release to place their pre-orders; this allows them to keep their options open should the publisher announce new editions or additional bonuses.

Additionally, PlayStation players who pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI on PS5 may receive a one-month trial of GTA+ membership in certain regions. However, remember to cancel the auto-renewal in time; otherwise, the system may automatically charge you the monthly fee once the trial ends.

If you are interested in Grand Theft Auto VI, please check out EZG GTA 6 Store. We can provide the essential game resources to help you become one of the first players to dominate the city with top-tier gear.

Overall, the controversy surrounding GTA 6 pre-order figures appears to be a misunderstanding stemming from differences in how the data is tallied. SAND: Raiders of Sophie: Extraction Shooter Core Gameplay, Trampler Combat System & Expedition Preparation Explained

When you first enter SAND: Raiders of Sophie, you'll immediately feel its complexity. It's an extraction shooter, but it also incorporates open-world exploration elements, resulting in an overall experience that feels like a hybrid of Rust, Dune Awakening, Arc Raiders, and Sea of Thieves, offering a very interesting and unique gameplay.

However, because the content is so vast, and the game itself doesn't provide a good tutorial, many mechanics require you to figure them out yourself.

This guide will help you grasp the basics of SAND: Raiders of Sophie, successfully complete your first expedition, bring back some decent loot, and even win a battle or two in the desert.

Expedition Preparation

Character creation in SAND: Raiders of Sophie is relatively simple; you can choose just one of several randomly generated appearances. If you fail early or run out of resources, you can recreate your character and get a new set of starting resources, which is crucial for beginners.

Before officially embarking on your expedition, you need to do expedition planning. First, the basic equipment setup: a set of armor, two weapons, and corresponding ammunition, each gun using unique ammunition. You'll also need to carry food and energy supplies, such as canned goods and energy rods; this is the most basic survival setup in SAND: Raiders of Sophie.

You also need to pay attention to Trampler, your main base in SAND: Raiders of Sophie. It serves as both an exploration tool and a loot storage. It can be equipped with different types of turrets, including an 80mm heavy cannon, a 40mm sustained fire cannon, and a 70mm shotgun turret.

80mm is for heavy ammunition, 40mm can fire continuously, and 70mm is suitable for close combat and infantry fighting. New players are usually recommended to combine 80mm and 40mm to ensure both close and long-range firepower. You can upgrade Trampler Tech Tree using SAND Raiders of Sophie Crown to gain more customization options.

After entering combat or an expedition, you'll also need to choose between storm drive and voyage modes. The former has time limits and a shrinking area, while the latter is more flexible but can drag on for a very long time, ranging from a quick 20-minute raid to unexpectedly lasting three hours.

Landing and Exploration

Upon entering SAND: Raiders of Sophie map, you'll be dropped into a random location in the desert, possibly surrounded by other players. Trampler will be your core unit; you'll need to drive it to explore ruins, towns, and other rich resource points.

The looting mechanism in SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a bit different. You'll find green boxes scattered throughout the map, which are the major source of loot. You need to carry these boxes directly to the storage area. All loot must be placed in the ship's hold or on designated shelves; otherwise, it won't be retained during extraction.

In addition, Trampler contains the captain's quarters, where you can store food and spare equipment. If you die, you can quickly revive using the food in the quarters. This means that food is not only for resource recovery but also part of the revival mechanism.

Core Gameplay

Controlling Tramplers is one of the core gameplay elements of SAND: Raiders of Sophie. You can control forward movement and steering using WASD keys, and lateral movement using Q and E keys. The fuel system is equally important; the interface displays remaining fuel and speed status. Inserting fuel rods not only replenishes fuel but also temporarily increases speed, which is very effective for escaping pursuers.

While moving, you need to constantly observe the horizon and scan for enemies using binoculars. Combat in SAND: Raiders of Sophie is not just about shooting; it's a vehicle-based combat system. Different turrets have different uses, and the core objective of combat is usually to destroy the enemy vehicle's reactor. Destroying it not only completely destroys the ship but also prevents enemy characters from respawning.

But the combat doesn't stop there. Even if Trampler is destroyed, enemy players may still survive, so you need to enter the ship's cabins to fight for control, and even capture the terminal to directly seize enemy vehicles.

During combat in SAND: Raiders of Sophie, you also need to constantly repair the ship's structure. Your character has a multi-functional tool for repairing legs, piping, and electrical systems. Damaged legs reduce mobility, so attacking or protecting the legs is a tactical priority.

Evacuation

The evacuation phase of SAND: Raiders of Sophie is equally risky. You need to reach the evacuation point and activate the radio. The entire evacuation process is lengthy, during which other players may intervene to contest the evacuation point or supplies. You must also be aware of a crucial mechanic: your character's evacuation is separate from Trampler's evacuation.

If only Trampler evacuates while your character remains, your equipment may still be lost. Upon successful evacuation, you will retain all unused equipment and loot, and the total value of this expedition will be calculated.

Overall, SAND: Raiders of Sophie is an extremely rich but challenging game to learn. There is still much to discover and learn. It's not just about shooting or survival, but a complete experience combining driving, combat, resource management, and the risks of evacuation. For players willing to invest time, the depth of this desert world far exceeds what is initially perceived.
