Diablo 4 Season 9 Sins Of The Horadrim Content Prediction: Is Season 9 Worth Waiting?

Diablo 4 Season 9 Sins Of The Horadrim will be announced in the campfire chat on May 22. The plot of Season 9 may be related to Horadric Cube and Brotherhood of the Horadrim.

May 20, 2025 Author: EZG

It’s time to look up from the endless farming of gold and Spectral Ash in Season 8, and turn your eyes to Season 9. The developers have confirmed that Season 8 will be shorter than usual, and PTR of Season 9 will come sooner.

Diablo 4 Campfire Chat will be held at 11 pm PDT on May 22, which is about 10 pm Central Time in the United States. The developers will reveal to players about the content, plans and next ideas for Season 9.

Known Season 9 Content

Diablo 4 Season 9 Sins Of The Horadrim Content Prediction: Is Season 9 Worth Waiting?

Before the announcement of Season 8, the developers of Diablo 4 announced the roadmap for 2025. This roadmap starts from Season 7 and continues to Season 11. However, the plan map is too simple, which caused dissatisfaction among players.

However, we finally learned some of the content about Season 9 in advance. First, let’s review the content of season 9 in the roadmap:

Seasonal 9 Content

  • Horadric powers
  • Dungeon escalation
  • Earnable pet

Permanent additions

  • New Nightmare Dungeons activities
  • Console keyboard and mouse support
  • And more

Date

Although Season 8 has only been running for less than a month, there are only about 40 days left until its end. You’ll notice that Season 8 ran a shorter time frame, just 60 days in total, while Diablo IV Season 9 will return to a more normal run time with the following tentative release dates:

  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 10am PT
  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 1pm ET
  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 6pm BST
  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 7pm CET
  • Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 3am AEST

There is no confirmed end date for Season 9, but it is expected to end in mid-September.

Theme

The theme for Season 9 is Sins of the Horadrim, with Season Powers being Horadric powers. The word “Horadrim” comes from Brotherhood of the Horadrim, an organization founded by Archangel Tyrael, whose main purpose is to fight against the three Prime Evils Diablo, Mephisto and Baal who were exiled to the human world.

Horadric powers may come from Horadric Cube, which is not created by Brotherhood of the Horadrim, but from a higher power.

The Horadric Cube can transform one item into another. Perhaps in Season 9, players can transform their powers into a new power, or add a new way to craft items.

In Diablo 2, Horadric Cube can transform specific items into materials for another item, and this process does not require the use of gold. This may allow players to transform their unique items that they do not need into unique items that they truly need.

Nightmare Dungeons

Another important change in Season 9 is the change to the dungeons. This change is like the boss change in Season 8, part of it is a seasonal change, and part of it is a permanent change.

The developers claim that players will experience a very different dungeon in Season 9, and it has been revealed that the new dungeon will select affixes before entering to increase the difficulty and rewards such as Diablo 4 gold and items. This is indeed interesting, but it is hard to be called a big change, and perhaps the dungeons will have more changes.

Reliquaries

Season 9 will also replace Battle Pass with Reliquaries. Reliquaries divide the rewards into different categories. After unlocking one category, players need to collect tokens to unlock all the rewards in this category.

Controller Support

Season 9 will add keyboard and mouse support for consoles, which will make the game experience better for console players.

Predicted Content For Season 9

The developers of Diablo 4 did hide some content, and the developers confirmed that they are reworking the character’s skill tree. Given their work rate, players may have to wait until Season 10 or even 11 to officially play this content. But maybe they will release some of the skill reworks they have already made in Season 9.

The standard adjustment before each season is to adjust the unique items, Legendary Aspects and class skills to weaken the most op build in the previous season. Then the developers will introduce some new unique items for each class to enhance the build they want players to play.

But since the theme power of Season 9 is Horadric powers, maybe the developers will introduce a series of new equipment in Season 9 and put them in dungeons.

Some players say that Path of Exile 2 is more fun than Diablo 4, while others say that they think the game of Last Epoch is better. For games of the same type, this comparison is normal and helps the game become better.

POE 2 and Last Epoch are not perfect either, at least they can only run on PC at present. And no matter what changes Season 9 can bring to Diablo 4, these changes will lead it in a better direction. Maybe in Season 9 or Season 10, players will think Diablo 4 is better than them.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Masterwork Farming: How To Farm Them Efficiently?

Diablo 4 season 8 has been online for more than a month, and the latest season introduced new seasonal mechanics, systems and equipment, as well as updates to existing systems and quality of life improvements. Many fans are pleasantly surprised. I will discuss masterwork materials and how to farm them efficiently to get rewards. If you are struggling with this, then read this guide in detail!

Nightmare Dungeons

Nightmare Dungeons are one of the main sources for obtaining Obducite. Other materials may also drop, but Obducite is the most important. It is one of the key materials required to obtain Masterworking.

In this activity, Obducite is obtained from multiple sources, the most common of which is killing elites. However, the problem that may arise from this is that if you move too fast, you can actually skip the Obducite dropped from Elite, because there is a delay in popping out of the activity when Elite is killed, which means that the best way to complete this activity is actually to slow down. Therefore, this also makes some builds difficult to play because they move too fast.

It is also important to note that if you do not have Sigil Powder to unlock Nightmare Dungeons, you can delete some of Infernal Hordes keys and Tribute keys, but do not forget to protect your Tribute like I did, including the two Tributes of Radiances.

Infernal Hordes

It is a low-level activity in Diablo 4. It is both useful and useless in obtaining Masterworking materials. Why? Because it is mainly used to obtain Occult Gems.

When you are in an activity and start fighting against enemies, if the progress bar is filled, an activity will be refreshed in one of the four locations in the arena. These activities are: Aether Elite, Aether Mass, Soulspire, Hellborne and Aether Lords. Among them, the latter two activities will only refresh specific boons when selected. When you complete a round of attacks, the game will have three boons. At this time, you need to choose the most effective boon according to our strategy. If the player wants to get more Obducite, then you can choose Hellborne. If the player chooses to keep Obducite, then you can choose Aether Lords.

One thing to note if you are doing Infernal Hordes is to not pick the Summon Lords boon. It will actually kill you because you can now spawn five activities instead of four.

When Aether Lords spawn from the Summon boon, monster spawning is also paused until they die. This breaks up Hellborne's constant spawning of new activities. This doesn't seem to work with normal boons though.

For whatever reason, Aether Lords don't stop monsters from spawning. Once you've finished the activity, you'll go kill the boss and get three treasure chests. These treasure chests will spawn build materials and Diablo 4 gold.

Tribute Runs

Tributes in the game are used to change your loot drops. They can be used to farm very specific items such as resources, crafting materials, legendary loot, and runes. But we're mainly focusing on Harmony, Titan and Refinement here. It's important to note that the rarer the tribute, the more time you lose at the start of the run.

In this activity, we have to use limited time to quickly reach the last floor, kill the boss, gain more time, and speed up the game progress.

The common strategy is to click all the torches and complete the corresponding tasks when you reach the first floor. And so on, but it should be noted that when you reach the fourth floor, it means that you need to spend more time. At this time, if you are fighting in a team, you can divide the work and cooperate, and everyone can get rewards after completion.

But since it is a team battle, you can't enter the next floor in this environment. Therefore, I suggest that players fight alone or only choose people they know. After all, it is very difficult to fully coordinate everyone's progress and cooperation.

Helltide

Helltide, in simple terms, is to run around, cultivate monsters, get cinders, spend cinders, and get items. But you can't die in the middle. If you die, 50% of the cinders will be lost. Their main use is to obtain Forgotten Souls and boss materials.

Here, there are many ways to get cinders and other materials. I recommend finding a route that allows you to cycle through the activities. Each route drops seven Forgotten Souls, so try to find Hellspires and Soulspires as well. These activities give the same amount of Cinders as Blood Maiden activities without spending any materials, as long as you are strong enough and can stay in the circle.

Boss Farming

You need to participate in trades to get materials in order to rotate bosses and get Forgotten Souls. Players will encounter different levels of bosses in this season, namely five Initiate Lair Bosses, three Greater Lair Bosses, and Exalted Lair Bosses-Belial. The five Initiate Lair Bosses are Grigoire, Beast In The Ice, Varshan, Lord Zir and Urivar. You will get more materials from them than any other boss during this period, because the developers want you to enjoy their newest boss, although it happens that Urivar has the lowest drop rate of Forgotten Souls.

Then there is Belial, who is the best target for Forgotten Souls because he will give you a lot of loot and Mythics and the most Masterworking materials. When killing the initial boss, there is a 10% chance that Belial will appear, and killing him will reward you with 7,200 reputation points.

The biggest reason why boss farming is an efficient way to farm has to do with reputation. Every time you kill an initial boss, you will gain 4,800-12,000 reputation points. You will also gain Spectral Ash, a material used to increase Boss Powers.

The reputation gained from ash plus the reputation gained from natural kills allow you to exchange for treasure chests, each of which drops an average of 37 souls and many other loot. Therefore, if you can kill bosses efficiently, you can harvest 2,000 souls per hour, while the second player who does not involve killing bosses can only harvest 500 souls per hour.

Conclusion

The above are the five masterwork activities and their specific farming methods. The master activities are Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, Tribute Runs, Helltide, and Boss Farming. If you find this guide helpful, then please try it!

Diablo 4 Season 8 Full Endgame Process: How To Make Your Character Grow Fast? - 8 Things

Regardless of the season, the most important part of Diablo 4 is in the endgame. Only in this stage can your attributes, gear, glyphs, and Boss Powers hugely improve.

But how should players smoothly enter the endgame? What do players need to do in the endgame to get improved? Here’s how to get to the endgame difficulty and improve yourself.

1. Choose Specific Builds

When you focus on a skill or play style in Diablo IV and build your character around it, your character will become more powerful.

After you reach the maximum level, it’s best to first focus on choosing the right endgame builds for your character, and then you can use gold to reset skills, aim for Legendary Items or Aspects, and set a farming goal for Mythic Uniques.

In fact, you can prepare multiple builds, because you can save up to 5 builds in The Armory. The Armory can store the following:

  • Equipment
  • Active and Passive Skills
  • Paragon Boards, Glyphs, and Nodes
  • You can prepare multiple builds for your character to deal with different situations, such as farming items, fighting bosses, etc

2. Pit Of The Artificers

Pit of the Artificers is an end-game activity that can only be unlocked when your character reaches level 60. It is related to many progression systems. You can enter Pit of the Artificers after you complete quest.

Increase Your Glyph Levels

The power of a Glyph is linked to its level. The best option for the player is to increase the level of Glyph as much as possible. Completing Pit of the Artificers level will give the player the opportunity to increase Glyph level. The higher the level of Pit of the Artificers, the higher the level of Glyph, and the higher the success rate of increasing Glyph.

When a Glyph is upgraded from level 45 to level 46, it becomes a Legendary Glyph, and Gem Fragments are required to upgrade to this stage.

Unlock Higher Torment Difficulties

Diablo 4 gold, experience points, and loot quality depend on the difficulty you are currently in. Completing level 20 Pit of the Artificers will unlock Torment I difficulty, and higher levels of Pit of the Artificers will unlock higher difficulties of Torment.

Some unique items will only appear in Torment IV, so you need to get the highest level of Pit of the Artificers as possible to reach Torment IV as soon as possible.

  • Tier 20: Unlocks Torment I
  • Tier 35: Unlocks Torment II
  • Tier 50: Unlocks Torment III
  • Tier 65: Unlocks Torment IV

Increase Paragon Levels

Paragon system provides continuous attribute growth for your character. They are divided into different types of nodes, and they will provide you with better and better bonuses as you progress higher in The Pit.

You should try to ignore the normal nodes and aim for Legendary Node. Although you can reset all nodes with gold, the more times you reset, the more gold you need.

3. Masterwork Your Gear

After you reach level 60, you will collect Obducites in activities such as Nightmare Dungeons and Helltide. They are one of materials for Masterworking your equipment.

Masterworking is a special equipment crafting system in endgame. Unlike the regular upgrade system, upgrading equipment to Masterworking does not improve the basic attributes of the equipment, but only increases the affixes on the equipment by 5% per level.

4. Infernal Hordes

Infernal Hordes is a special rogue-like dungeon launched in Season 5. You need the Infernal Compass to enter it. In Infernal Hordes, you can choose Infernal Offers with both positive and negative effects. These effects will increase the number of monsters or damage, but also increase the amount of Burning Aether you get.

Burning Aether can be opened by opening Spoils of Hell chests. The treasure chests are divided into Spoils of Greater Equipment, Spoils of Materials and Spoils of Gold, and you can get unique equipment, materials and gold, respectively.

5. Kurast Undercity

Only players with DLC can enter Kurast Undercity. This is a special copy. You can use Tributes to modify the affixes of the dungeon to make it more difficult, but the rewards after successful completion will also be more generous.

Kurast Undercity has a time limit, and once the time is up, you will be automatically sent out of the dungeon.

6. Helltide

Helltide has been a staple since its launch and remains one of the best loot-earning activities to date. It remains the best raw loot-earning activity in the game, and you can get most of the resources you need from gold, materials, elixirs, and even unique gear in this activity, some of which only appear in Helltide.

Helltide will appear randomly around Sanctuary, and each time it lasts about an hour.

7. Apparition Incursions

Apparition Incursions is Season event in Season 8, and it also marks the return of Belial, a returning villain from Diablo series.

Apparition Incursions are an important source of XP for players, and are also the main way to get Boss Powers, Spectral Ashes, and Unveiler’s Oath Reputation. The number of Spectral Ashes is relatively small at low difficulties, so it is recommended to farm Spectral Ashes after reaching Torment 4.

Here are Apparition Bosses:

  • Allek
  • Beastmaster
  • Blackmailer
  • Flesh Reaper
  • Hatred’s Embrace
  • Kirma
  • Outlaw Sharpshooter
  • Sinerat
  • Skerg
  • Torusk

8. Season Journey

Each chapter of Season Journey offers different rewards. The Greater Lair Cache provides a lot of boss materials, which can give players a head start at the beginning of the season.

In particular, completing the higher-level Season Journey will reward players with Resplendent Spark, which is one of materials for Mythic Unique.

Each endgame activity in Diablo 4 has unique rewards. You can choose the rewards that can directly improve your build and then come to Torment IV as soon as possible.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Speed Leveling: You May Need These Tips!

Regardless of which season you are in Diablo 4, the developers strongly encourage players to use a new character in each new season, so that if you don’t create a new season character, you will not be able to experience the new content of the new season.

But this does not mean that all players are willing and able to complete this challenge, so how to level up efficiently and meaningfully will be the first problem you encounter after entering the current latest Season 8.

Not only that, when you first enter D4 S8, you can only complete most of the seasonal tasks and challenges provided to you alone, which will make you more isolated and unable to rely on the power of the team to help you through the difficulties.

In view of this, this guide will introduce you to some strategies and tips in the current Diablo 4 Season 8 Belial’s Return that can help you reduce the time required for the leveling process as much as possible, so that you can smoothly pass this boring and grinding stage and enter the more interesting endgame content.

Complete Seasonal Missions As Early As Possible

Although each new season of D4 brings some seasonal themes and seasonal missions to players, the fact that they can provide you with a lot of experience points and loot will not change, so the first step to fast leveling is to complete all the current season missions.

Not only that, some of the exploration gains and mechanisms provided to you by this season will appear in this season mission, so after you complete the corresponding exploration with your new character, you will have a preliminary understanding of the theme and interesting mechanisms to be conveyed by the entire season, so as to facilitate the subsequent progress.

Of course, relying solely on the experience points provided by the seasonal missions will not allow you to reach the maximum level faster than regular exploration, so you also need the help of the following strategies.

Choose A Strong Leveling Build

Since you are in the leveling phase of Diablo 4, you should choose a leveling build for your character accordingly, which generally has high group clearing and damage capabilities to cope with the situation of efficiently farming experience points and in-game currency.

But please note that you should choose those top-level but low-level leveling builds, because this type of build does not rely too much on items that require a lot of Diablo 4 Gold to upgrade to achieve maximum effectiveness.

There are many excellent leveling builds in the current player community and social platforms, and you can choose the one that suits you best based on your play style. However, please note that the specific effectiveness of the build will be strengthened or weakened according to the release of the seasonal patch. Please pay attention to it in time.

Getting To Right Difficulty

If you already have a build, which is strong in both survivability and damage, you can choose Hard Difficulty as it gives you a 75% experience boost.

Of course, if your build is strong enough and your combat skills are good enough, you can challenge higher difficulty game content, and the experience you can get for leveling up will be higher.

Since your build’s capabilities are largely determined by the gear you choose for it, if you are lucky enough to get some really good Unique Items or Legendary Aspects during your exploration, it’s a good idea to try to increase your challenge difficulty.

Explore More World Events

While completing Season 8’s seasonal quests, you can also go to Helltides and Tree of Whispers and collect the bounties they provide you, which will give you a lot of experience points and D4 gold coins.

According to some players’ actual tests, it is very easy to reach level 30 and above in a few hours by alternating between seasonal quests and exploring Helltides. Most importantly, the other loot provided by these two activities, such as materials or gear, will make your later exploration easier.

However, it is important to remind you that you should save your Aberrant Cinders as much as possible in Helltides to open more Tortured Gifts. In addition, kill as many enemies as possible during the run to increase your Threat meter so that you can fight Hellborne mini-boss as soon as possible and get all the loot he provides.

Don’t forget to use Elixirs frequently during this process, as they can improve your combat effectiveness and the amount of experience you receive at the end.

You’ll find Nightmare Dungeon sigils and Tributes in Helltide chests and Whisper catches that unlock Nightmare Dungeons and Kurast Undercity, and these world events are also great sources of experience to farm, especially if keys have some modifiers to match.

Cleaning Strongholds

When you reach level 40 and above, you may find that your leveling process becomes more difficult. So you may need to use the task of cleaning Strongholds to help you get the experience points provided to you in a spurt: a large number of enemies here will provide you with a lot of experience points after death.

The above are some strategies and tips for you to quickly level in Diablo 4 Season 8. Hopefully, with their help, you can get through this annoying grinding process more quickly and feel the big changes that the developers have made to the endgame content of this game as soon as possible. I wish you a happy game!

Diablo 4 Season 8 released Patch 2.2.1 on all platforms on May 14, fixing some previous issues and improving the skills of some classes, creating a more fair competitive environment for players. This update will bring new content and experience to players.

Diablo 4 Season 8 has been released for some time, and players have mixed reviews on the game. Since its launch, the developers have made some content adjustments to the game. Patch 2.2.1 released on May 14th brought great changes to the game.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Mythic Uniques: How To Get It By Farming Bosses?

Diablo 4 Season 8 Belial’s Return has been online for a while, and I believe many players have already experienced the game. Players in the game search for rare unique items everywhere, but their low drop rate makes this difficult.

Mythic Unique items are pinnacle loot in the game, and their unique effects can allow you to redefine your builds. So, today, this guide will explain how to quickly get it by farming Bosses.

Helltide

Blood Maiden

First, farm Helltide at the highest difficulty you can afford, because Tortured Gifts given to you after running this event will contain some Mythic Uniques, which need to be exchanged for Aberrant Cinders you collect during exploration.

So how to get Aberrant Cinders? You can get them by defeating the bosses in Helltide Events, and the most worthwhile one to farm is Blood Maiden. You need to use Baneful Hearts to summon her.

Baneful Hearts can be obtained from World Bosses and some other enemies in Helltide. When you defeat Blood Maiden, you will get a large number of Aberrant Cinders and a certain amount of Exquisite Blood.

Exquisite Blood is used to open Lord Zir’s Hoard, in which there is a high probability that Unique items we need will drop.

The amount of Exquisite Blood you get depends on how many Baleful Hearts you spent to summon Blood Maiden. If you don't donate Baneful Hearts, you will only get two Exquisite Blood. After that, you will get six more Exquisite Blood for each additional Baneful Heart you donate.

So, if you donate all three Baneful Hearts, you will get 20 Exquisite Blood. Your goal is to donate Baneful Hearts you get from Helltide to summon Blood Maiden.

In essence, you are exchanging these Hearts for Blood. You need to get a total of 80 Exquisite Blood, which generally takes about an hour or two to complete.

Tortured Gifts

After completing Helltide event, you will get back a large amount of Aberrant Cinders. So, you can exchange them for Tortured Gifts. Tortured Gifts contain all kinds of things, including Uniques we need.

It should be noted that if you die during Helltide event, your Aberrant Cinders will be reduced by half. Additionally, your Aberrant Cinders will be cleared after the current event ends.

Seasonal Events

After completing the main quest, you can also do some side quests, such as Apparition Incursion. Because when this event ends you will get rich rewards, including Diablo 4 Gold and Lair Boss Key. You can use it to upgrade the boss power and make yourself stronger.

Alternatively, you can go to Kurast Undercity, where you can get some Tributes after completing the entire quest line. Open the portal in Kurast Undercity and offer these tributes to Spirit Brazier. These tributes allow you to lock in specific rewards, and at the same time, can greatly increase your chances of getting Uniques.

I would like to remind you that the rewards in United Tributes mode are higher than those in Resolute mode. Here, there is a 90% chance of getting Mythic Uniques each time you farm a boss.

Lair Boss

The materials you get above are enough to loot a Beast in the Ice and some items that reach a certain rarity level but have no corresponding effects, etc. In addition, when we kill these bosses, we can only get Lair Boss Key of level 2, which includes Supreme Belial, and Mini Belial that is randomly generated after looting other bosses.

In total, we can loot more than 50 bosses in this 2-hour monster farming time.

In addition, when you defeat Lord Zir for the second time, Unique items will drop. But you will be surprised to find that this time the item has a better cooldown reduction effect. The probability of getting it this way is 4%, and you can get two Uniques after killing about 50 bosses.

Exalted Lair Boss Belial is also a boss that can farm it, because it allows you to choose a target loot pool. After defeating it, you can choose from Duriel, Harbinger of Hatred, and Andariel as your unboxing rewards. This method also has a very high chance of dropping Uniques.

In addition to it, defeating Lair Bosses such as Urivar, Harbinger of Hatred, etc. also has a chance to get it. When you defeat Lair Boss for the first time, you will get Uniques from pool.

The above is how to get it by farming Bosses. Of course, you can also try other methods, such as using Resplendent Spark to make it. No matter which method, it is difficult to get such rare items. I hope this article can only help you.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Rushing Claw Spiritborn Build: The Build Helps You Accumulate Gold Quickly!

Diablo 4 needs gold at all times, especially when players come to the endgame, re-roll affixes for weapons, or make elixirs or forge legendary ancestor equipment, all of which require gold. Therefore, preparing a farming gold build is necessary for every class.

Rushing Claw Spiritborn build is a very suitable endgame build for farming gold. It has powerful attacks and fast movement speed, and can kill many enemies efficiently and safely.

Pros And Cons

Pros

  • High damage and fast attack speed
  • Great mobility
  • Can exert control on groups of monsters

Cons

  • Very weak when dealing with single enemies

Skills

  • Counterattack: Dodge all direct attacks for 3 to 6 seconds after activating the skill.
