WOW Classic ERA: Some Problems Have Been Fixed - Imbalance Issues

WOW Classic ERA has always faced the problem of imbalance in characters and configurations. Although it has been improved and corrected recently, it has not touched the core mechanism. This article is a relevant introduction.

Oct 08, 2024 Author: EZG

It is surprising that some updates have been made to WOW Classic ERA realms, including some changes developed for Season of Discovery and for Classic Era as well.

This article will mainly introduce these changes, which aimed to WOW Classic ERA even better. However, some players are not satisfied, considering that this change does not touch the real gameplay of the game.

WOW Classic ERA: Some Problems Have Been Fixed - Imbalance Issues

Details Of Changes

World of Warcraft Classic ERA has long had some imbalance issues, such as Alliance players are not available to use Might of Stormwind buff, which serves as a comparable buff to Horde’s Warchief’s Blessing while other players could. While Alliance players can gain more benefits by using WoW Classic ERA Gold, what really matters is the question of fairness.

Therefore, in the recent changes, the developers have made relevant improvements.

First, Alliance players can now access Might of Stormwind.

Second, Druids are available to train and perform pole arms.

Finally, the waiting time for the application of Rallying Cry of Dragonslayer and Warchief’s Blessing has been shortened from one hour to one minute.

The unbalanced elements in Classic Era have been corrected relatively well. Some issues about quality of life have also received positive feedback and corrections.

UI Changes In WoW Classic ERA

Recreating Classic experiences while running on the modern World of Warcraft code has always been one of the important challenges faced by Classic version team. The important change the developers made is the ability to integrate with Battle.net service at the most basic level, which means that UI elements can be introduced for update.

Regarding Guild UI of Classic Era, it not only improves the management system of the entire Guild, but gives players a better gaming experience. The developers said they will continue to get feedback, discuss other options for Guild UI, and take player feedback seriously.

But it is worth mentioning that most players believe that Classic team actually has little intention to bring changes that affect the gameplay to WoW Classic ERA. All improvements only involve the surface. Some players even said that WoW Classic ERA is already dead in name only. Compared with the updates of other versions, the updates and improvements to WoW Classic ERA are indeed only on the surface.

The above are the relevant imbalance issues and improvements about WoW Classic ERA and the reviews about it. Thanks for reading.

Diablo 4's Frozen Cyclone Barbarian Finally Became the Monster It Was Meant to Be in Patch 3.1.1a

With the adjustments in Diablo 4 Patch 3.1.1a and the gradual unlocking of Unique gear skills, Barbarian's Frozen Cyclone build has made a long-awaited and powerful comeback.

This build has now been proven to reach level 144. Its core strategy is very simple: first, control enemies using various freezing methods, then unleash devastating damage with a whirlwind attack and the full Rune effect.

It doesn't just rely on sheer numerical superiority; it utilizes control chains and damage mechanics to create an incredibly powerful loop.

Core Gameplay

The core logic of this build revolves around "freezing."

Many Barbarian builds in past Diablo 4 relied more on Berserking, heavy attacks, or single-hit bursts, but this Season of Death Awakening Frozen build is completely different. It uses a high Luck hit chance, Freeze affix, and gear effects to frequently freeze enemies. Once a freeze is triggered, all subsequent damage is maximized.

This build's advantages are even more pronounced in boss fights. Whenever the boss is knocked back, frozen, or enters a stunned state, it takes a significant amount of extra damage.

The truly insane aspect of this build is its ability to continuously generate freeze triggers. Through runes and various freeze-related effects, you can continuously enhance freeze efficiency, keeping the boss almost constantly under control.

However, a crucial detail needs attention: as in previous seasons, the last control effect on Season 14 boss must be "Freeze."

The last skill used to control the boss cannot be a Challenging Shout or a kiting skill, otherwise the full freeze benefit may not be triggered. However, because of the build's high hit chance, freezes usually naturally overwrite each other in actual combat.

Furthermore, because your maximum life is very low, the life recovery effect of a single attack becomes incredibly powerful. With sufficiently high recovery affixes, a single attack can even restore over 600 life, instantly restoring you to full health.

The entire combat process becomes: lose health - attack to recover health - full health - trigger increased damage - consume life again. This cycle seems extremely dangerous, but it's actually the reason for the build's explosive damage.

Paragon Board Selection

This Diablo 4 Season 14 build's Paragon Board focuses on maximizing damage output and resource rotation.

Core choices include Blood Rage, Flawless Technique, Carnage, Warbringer, Exploit, and Imbiber, along with Marshal.

Marshal is crucial here because it helps reduce skill cooldowns, making key skill rotations smoother. Cooldown reduction is essential, especially for maintaining long-term Wrath of the Berserker uptime.

The final Glyph can be adjusted based on personal preference.

If you prefer consistent damage output, you can choose Imbiber. While powerful, this choice requires careful attention to its mechanics. Using Imbiber requires constantly consuming potions to maintain your health within a specific cycle.

This build is a typical low-life playstyle, so your life will constantly decrease, then be quickly restored to full using "Restore Life on Attack" affix, allowing you to continue enjoying Imbiber's bonuses.

If you don't like this playstyle, you can switch to Might Glyph, sacrificing some burst damage for a more stable experience.

Gear Requirements

This build has high gear requirements; a random set of Diablo 4 Items won't be enough to achieve its full potential. The most important factor is having "Restore Life on Attack" affix. This attribute is usually found in Azurewrath and is crucial for the entire low-life build.

Core gear choices include Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty, Rage of Harrogath, Gohr's Devastating Grips, and The Grandfather.

Rage of Harrogath is particularly important, as it helps you maintain a permanent Berserking state, which is almost essential for this build.

Gohr's Devastating Grips primarily handle resource generation, ensuring Whirlwind maintains consistent damage output. Combined with Battle-Mad Aspect, it further optimizes Fruy management, resulting in a more stable skill rotation.

Since this Diablo 4 Season 14 Frost build primarily uses The Grandfather as its weapon, some critical strike-related attributes can be moved to ring slots, reducing reliance on traditional heavy attack setups. While still retaining the heavy attack system, the overall damage structure is more flexible.

Additionally, Azurewrath and Ramaladni's Magnum Opus are also core equipment. Both are highly suitable for this build, especially the "life regeneration per attack" attribute; having it on one piece of equipment significantly improves the overall rotation stability.

Attribute Focus

The most common mistake with this build is stacking the wrong control attributes. Remember, this build requires a freeze chance. Not a root chance, not a stun chance, but a specific freeze chance. The entire build's damage increase is built upon freeze triggers.

If your freeze chance is insufficient, you can even forgo some critical strike chance enhancement and prioritize increasing freeze probability. Many Diablo 4 players believe critical strike chance is always a priority, but in this Season of Death Awakening Frost build, freeze trigger frequency is the true factor determining your damage ceiling.

Another crucial detail is that the critical strike chance attribute on The Grandfather must be Master-enhanced. Without critical strike chance enhancement, your overall damage rotation will significantly decrease.

If your amulet and gloves already have sufficient critical strike chance, you can consider enhancing critical strike damage. However, from a final endgame perspective, Master-enhanced critical strike chance remains a more stable choice.

Skill Configuration

For skills, this build uses: Whirlwind, War Cry, Challenging Shout, Rallying Cry, Warth of the Berserker, and Iron Skin. Whirlwind is the most important.

Currently, Weapon Expertise has some issues, preventing certain weapon types from functioning properly; therefore, a 2H Sword must be used.

While Whirlwind can be paired with hammers, axes, or polearms, Whirlwind upgrades for these weapons currently have a bug, making their actual benefits far less than sword specialization. Therefore, two-handed swords are ultimately recommended.

Two-handed swords not only increase overall damage output but also help reduce skill cooldowns, making it easier to maintain permanent uptime for Wrath of the Berserker.

Cooldown reduction is crucial for this build.Only a smooth skill rotation can ensure uninterrupted Berserking and maintain peak Whirlwind damage output.

Of course, if you want to know more about Diablo 4 news, follow EZG Facebook. We'll be giving away giveaways from time to time and updating relevant game news here.

This build has already successfully cleared level 144, undoubtedly making it one of the strongest builds for pushing Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening Barbarian levels. This playstyle is not only powerful but also visually stunning - watching the boss freeze and then instantly disappear in a whirlwind is the reason for the resurgence of Frozen Barbarian build.

Madden NFL 27 vs Madden NFL 26: Every Major Gameplay, Franchise and Feature Change Explained

Every summer, football game enthusiasts focus on the latest installment in EA Sports' Madden NFL series, and this year, they're bringing us Madden 27.

Based on available information, Madden 27 introduces a host of new mechanics compared to Madden 26. So, what are the differences between the two games? Many players are curious about this.

This article will comprehensively compare NFL 27 and NFL 26 from four perspectives.

Key Gameplay

Madden 27 has made significant changes to both its defensive and offensive mechanics, while also adjusting the game's feel and pace:

Defense

The biggest weakness of Madden 26 was its defense - a weak pass rush and sluggish second-line reactions, leading to high-scoring games. Therefore, Madden 27 focuses on improving this aspect of its gameplay.

First, the game introduces a brand-new Smart Zones system. Defensive players no longer simply guard the center of the zone but actively seek out opportunities, reacting more realistically to receivers entering the zone.

Second, the double-team logic has been rewritten. In NFL 26, double-teams sometimes failed; NFL 27 employs a more reasonable double-team logic.

Third, NFL 27 offers in-depth customizable defensive adjustments, allowing players to preset countermeasures for different formations.

Offense

Madden 27 introduces several new offensive mechanics that players need to master, features absent in Madden 26:

First, Timing-Based Catching. The game adds a shot meter similar to NBA 2K, requiring players to press and release button instant they catch ball, with timing determining the success or failure of catch - green indicates a perfect catch.

Second, Dynamic Meter Mini-Game. Addressing Hawks' infamous "push-the-back" tactic, the game includes a dynamic meter mini-game where both offense and defense can strategize before tip-off.

Third, Dynamic Substitutions. Players can now substitute players mid-match, eliminating the need to force fatigued players to play the entire game.

Feel and Pace

A major highlight of Madden 26 was its improved overall game pace, resulting in a better feel for the game. However, Madden 27 seems to have reverted to a slower pace – several previewers have pointed out that the game's tempo is slower, making the gameplay less fluid.

Given that Madden 27 and College Football 27 share many gameplay systems, this pace adjustment might be intended to reflect the stylistic differences between the two games, but some players feel it has become disconnected from the offensive pace of NFL series.

Franchise Mode

In addition to numerous new mechanics in game modes, Madden 27 also adds a significant number of gameplay elements and mechanics to Franchise Mode:

Persona Engine

The official description states that Persona Engine gives each player a unique Persona DNA, encompassing 65 different personality types that determine a player's motivation, behavior, and reactions to management decisions.

This means that players will no longer be as homogenized as in Madden 26 and previous titles. Events - such as star players going on strike - will no longer be randomly triggered, but rather determined by Persona Engine based on player personality and other factors.

Contract and Free Agent System

Meanwhile, Madden 27's contract system has undergone its largest overhaul ever.

In terms of contract types, the game adds Guaranteed Contracts; in terms of contract terms, it adds Void Years, Incentives, and No-Trade Clauses; in terms of contract structure, it adds custom contract structures, etc.

The free agent system has also been greatly expanded:

First, contract renewals and negotiations. Contract renewals in NFL 27 can be conducted earlier in season, and the negotiation process has changed from a single round in NFL 26 to multiple rounds.

Second, Free Agent Frenzy. This is a new real-time offseason event that allows all teams to compete for top free agents within 12 hours, simulating intense pace of real NFL free agent market.

Third, all real NFL rules, including Restricted Free Agents, Transition Tags, and UDFA Bidding Period, are implemented.

Coaching Staff and News System

In coaching staff system, Madden 27 introduces Real Coordinators for the first time and adds a new prototype coach who transitioned from college to pro.

In news system, game adds a brand-new News Center and News Ticker. News Ticker continuously updates league news across various interfaces in Franchise mode.

Bug Fixes

In addition to gameplay and mechanic updates, the developers have fixed several bugs from Madden 26 in Madden 27. For example, the bug where Super Sim data would inflate abnormally due to certain playbooks has been fixed;

CPU trading activity bug has also been fixed in the game - players complained that CPU hardly traded in NFL 26, but in NFL 27, CPU does indeed trade; the injury reserve list bug has also finally been fixed, so players no longer need to worry about this bug.

However, some players who participated in Madden 27 test reported new bugs, such as the temporary inability to adjust defensive settings. The developers promised to fix these bugs in the official release.

This concludes the comparison between Madden NFL 27 and Madden NFL 26. Overall, Madden NFL 27 represents a significant improvement over its predecessor in many aspects and is a worthwhile game to play.

GTA 6 Easter Eggs Explained: Are GTA Online Cayo Perico Secrets Really Hidden Clues?

The recently released GTA Online update, Cayo Perico Heist, has become a new hotspot for players searching for clues to GTA 6. While the update is essentially just a new heist mission, players have discovered numerous hidden hints and Easter eggs that seem to originate from GTA 6, making them almost impossible to ignore.

Although Rockstar hasn't officially confirmed these Easter eggs, many fans believe they are not just simple decorations but carefully designed details that may reveal Rockstar's development direction for Grand Theft Auto 6.

EZG will now introduce these Easter eggs and what new content they bring to GTA 6.

Interactive Gameplay

One of the coolest things in this GTA Online update isn't actually an Easter egg, but a game mechanic. In one of the preparatory missions, you'll encounter a locked container guarded by enemies. After taking them out, you can break the padlocks, open the container yourself, and climb inside to collect the target item.

This sounds simple, but you might recognize this mechanic as something that first appeared in a leaked GTA 6 gameplay demo in 2022. Back then, Jason could shoot or break locks on containers, opening them with a unique animation and allowing players to loot the items inside. This mechanic was also added to GTA 5 in 2023, likely a test by Rockstar for GTA 6.

Now, Rockstar has quietly brought this system to GTA Online. It's a small detail, but it definitely makes mission interactivity far more than simply walking past glowing markers. Whether this is simply because both games use the same technology, or Rockstar wants you to familiarize yourself with these mechanics before Grand Theft Auto 6 launches, it's a very interesting addition.

HUD

Besides the interactive mechanics, players have noticed another leaked detail. In previously leaked GTA 6 videos, HUD doesn't immediately appear when Jason enters certain vehicles, but only after the character actually starts driving. This design makes the driving experience more cinematic and reduces UI's impact on immersion.

While GTA Online hasn't fully replicated this system yet, the new Cayo Perico mission clearly places more emphasis on environmental exploration and scene interaction, rather than relying heavily on HUD cues. This may be the future trend of GTA 6 HUD optimization.

Trust Artwork

In this update, the largest GTA 6 Easter egg is an artwork called Trust. On the surface, it's just an ordinary painting hanging in the gallery, but players quickly noticed a connection to a classic scene from the first GTA 6 trailer.

In Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, Lucia asked Jason a crucial question: Trust? Jason then gave the same answer. This simple dialogue became a significant symbol of the relationship between the two protagonists, showcasing their complex partnership.

Now, Rockstar has added a painting called Trust to GTA Online, depicting a man and a woman sitting in a restaurant surrounded by money and robbery-related elements.

Even more coincidentally, this painting may also correspond to Diner Robbery Gameplay leaked in 2022. In the leaked footage, Jason and Lucia are robbing a restaurant together, and the character placement and seen layout in this artwork bear similarities to the leaked content.

Of course, Rockstar hasn't confirmed the true meaning of these artworks, but considering the title, theme, and release months before GTA 6, it's clearly deliberate. Rockstar obviously didn't just randomly hang the artworks on the wall. Many of them appear to have been created specifically for this heist.

Real-world artworks inspire some paintings, while others are entirely original. This alone makes exploring the gallery exciting, as you'll constantly wonder whether what you're seeing is simple decoration or a hidden teaser for Grand Theft Auto 6.

Assets Shared

Besides the artwork, a new NPC has also sparked considerable discussion. In GTA Online, an NPC wears clothing with Vice City logo. On its own, this doesn't say much, as Rockstar has frequently used Vice City-related elements in the past.

Players discovered that the necklace worn by this NPC is remarkably similar to the one worn by Kyle Hampton in GTA 6. While the quality in GTA Online is slightly lower, the overall design is almost identical.

Furthermore, some Towel Models in GTA Online are very close to versions seen in GTA 6 promotional materials and leaked videos. The shapes, creases, and overall designs are highly similar.

This aligns with player speculation about Rockstar's development methods: some assets completed in Grand Theft Auto 6 may be gradually being ported to GTA Online. Since both games use Rockstar's own engine, sharing some clothing, props, and accessories is not surprising.

Not All are Easter Eggs

However, not all speculations about GTA 6 are credible. Previously, some players believed that a painting in GTA Online secretly displayed a Grand Theft Auto 6 map, claiming that its shapes correspond to Leonidas, Vice City, Keys, and even other areas.

However, this theory was quickly challenged after comparison with actual maps. In fact, if forced to find a correspondence, almost any pattern could be interpreted as a map shape. This is the result of the community's over-analysis of every detail by Rockstar, rather than genuine clues left by the developers.

As the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 draws closer, Rockstar will likely continue to add more similar content through GTA Online. This is undoubtedly the best channel for Rockstar to test new mechanics, showcase hidden details, and generate player anticipation. Perhaps before the official launch, we can experience some of the design direction of GTA 6 through GTA Online.

If you are interested in Grand Theft Auto VI, please check out EZG GTA 6 Store. We can provide the essential game resources to help you become one of the first players to dominate the city with top-tier gear.

While there is still much speculation surrounding all Easter eggs, it is undeniable that Rockstar is continuously raising player expectations for the next generation of games through GTA Online. As the official release of GTA 6 gets closer, more hidden details will be discovered by players in the future.

Don't Start SpiritVale Until You Read This - Best Weapons, Classes And Early Progression

If you're reading this, you're probably about to embark on your adventure in SpiritVale. Unlike many other MMORPGs, you'll be transported directly to the charming town of Nearis upon entering the game, with almost no tutorials or questlines, encouraging you to explore on your own.

Therefore, your early success depends heavily on your understanding of the weapon, combat, and class upgrade core systems. This article will guide you through making the best choices to ensure a smooth early game experience in SpiritVale. Let's take a look.

Getting Started

After creating your character, you'll arrive in Nearis, the game's main hub. Here you'll encounter some important NPCs, such as the blacksmith and warehouse manager, who upgrade equipment.

Your primary objective is to cross the portal to Sunny Meadow in the north, teeming with level 1-5 monsters and ideal for farming initial equipment.

In the early stages of SpiritVale, your primary focus should be collecting the complete starter set (chest armor, leg armor, and boots). This set provides numerous valuable early-game bonuses, such as health and mana regeneration, increased movement speed.

Additionally, keep an eye out for Potions and Golden Hoops, as they increase your attack damage and maximum mana. Don't worry if certain gear doesn't drop while farming.

Each map drops a crafting material called Flux. You can use this material on the crafting NPC, which appears in most maps, to craft any missing gear using SpiritVale Gold.

Best Starting Gear for Each Class

SpiritVale features seven basic classes, which you can choose to accord to your preference. However, selecting the right weapon can significantly increase your leveling speed.

Each class has recommended weapons that enhance a character's core skill. This article is ready for you, and the details are as follows:

Warrior

Skull Hawker is the most suitable equipment for Warriors, significantly increasing the power of Whirlwind skill, making this class an excellent choice for farming monsters. Skull Hawker is not difficult to obtain; it can be farmed in Goblin Village.

Knight

Knight and Relic Trident are a perfect match. Relic Trident increases the damage of Piercing Flurry skill and reduces its cooldown. You can find this item in Mystic Lake.

Rogue

Stiletto, which drops in Lake Field, is the best choice for Rogues because it increases Blade Dance damage.

Scout

Scouts have slightly more options; you can choose to accord to your preference. Oak Bow, which drops in Bunny Woods, increases the single-target damage of Strafe, while Stormburst Crossbow is more suitable for area-of-effect damage, significantly increasing the damage of Arrow Shower skil and reducing its cooldown.

Acolyte

Grimoire of Binding Light in Festering Woods is an excellent choice for Acolyte, as it increases the damage of Holy Light spells.

Summoner

Rune Smasher found in Mystic Lake is your best choice, as it significantly enhances the skill effects of Summoner Banishment Field and Suppression Field.

Mage

Hellfire Staff found in Windy Desert North, is one of the best weapons for Mages in the early stages of SpiritVale. It provides additional traditional effects to Fireball skill, making it one of the most powerful items during character leveling.

All the weapons mentioned above can be upgraded later, but this may require a large amount of gold. If you are short on funds, you can buy SpiritVale Gold from EZG.com, which provides the fastest and easiest way to obtain funds.

Elemental System

SpiritVale's combat system is based on the principle of elemental advantage, which is essentially rock-paper-scissors. Each player, monster, and attack has a corresponding elemental attribute, and exploiting their weaknesses is the key to victory. Using the correct elemental attribute can increase damage by up to 125%, while using a counter-element will reduce it to 75%.

The general elemental counter cycle is: Earth > Wind > Water > Fire > Earth. Regarding special elements: Holy counters Poison, Shadow, and Undead, while Shadow counters Neutral, Holy, and Undead. Learning and utilizing these counter relationships will help you defeat enemies faster.

Class Advancement

Each basic class in SpiritVale can advance to a more powerful new class after reaching level 50. Advancement simply requires speaking with the corresponding class's Master; no quests or materials are required.

Warrior → Berserker

Berserker is an advanced Warrior class, specializing in high-risk, high-reward melee attacks, mastering critical hits and area-of-effect attacks. You can find Master in Windy Desert area.

Knight → Paladin

Paladin is an advanced Knight class, the ultimate tank and raid protector, possessing holy damage, healing, and defensive support abilities. You can find Master in Sanctum of Light.

Mage → Wizard

Wizard is an advanced Mage class, specializing in fire, ice, lightning, and earth elemental magic, possessing extremely fast map clearing speed and excellent gold farming capabilities. You can find Master in Mystic Lake 2.

Summoner → Necromancer

Necromancer is an advanced Summoner class, capable of commanding undead minions and weakening enemies through damage over time effects. You can find Master in Festering Woods 2.

Rogue → Shinobi

Shinobi is an advanced Rogue class, possessing incredible speed and extremely high poison attack damage, a highly agile warrior. You can find Master in SpiritVale Underground Cavern.

Scout → Gunslinger

Gunslinger is an advanced Scout class, capable of ranged physical damage output and possessing exceptional mobility. Master can be found in Fire Zone of Windy Desert North.

Acolyte → Priest

Priest is an advanced Acolyte class and a premier healer and support class in SpiritVale, providing crucial healing, buffs, and protection to the party. Master can be found in Wafer's Landing.

This concludes the beginner's guide to SpiritVale, covering everything you need to know before starting the game. Hopefully, this article will be helpful and help you succeed in the game.

ARC Raiders Players Want PvE, Better Anti-Cheat, and More Content: Is Embark Listening?

ARC Raiders is currently facing a surge of community discussion, with players hoping for improvements in several areas, including expedition issues, anti-cheat measures, and the possibility of a future PvE mode.

While the development team is working hard to fix bugs, players are also questioning whether the current content will provide enough momentum before Frozen Trail. Meanwhile, the recent release of a PvE mode in Embark's other game, The Finals, has also sparked new discussions among players.

Most players believe ARC Raiders has great potential, but future updates need to deliver a more meaningful experience. EZG will now introduce the latest hot topics among players.

Expedition Issues

ARC Raiders development team has released a new response regarding an Expedition system issue. Previously, some players encountered an anomaly: after completing a Damage Challenge, the system would automatically register them for Departures, even if they did not actively choose to join.

According to ARC Raiders development team, they have begun addressing the issue and will roll back affected players. The official statement indicates they wish to take a more cautious approach to restore the status of players whose registration behavior was abnormal to normal.

This fix will be implemented in multiple phases to ensure more players can successfully check their expedition status. For players who have already been automatically registered, ARC Raiders recommends promptly checking the in-game Expedition page to verify the accuracy of the displayed information.

If your issue persists, you should contact Support Team as soon as possible for further assistance from ARC Raiders development team.

While the fix was timely, the community considers the timing of the problem somewhat awkward, as there are only a few days left before the official Expedition registration deadline. Some players are concerned that if their account status is not restored in time, it may affect their subsequent choices.

Besides the technical issues, the current Expedition content in ARC Raiders has also become a focus of community discussion. Some players believe that the current Expedition lacks sufficient novelty for long-term active players.

While players who consistently play ARC Raiders daily might be willing to complete related objectives, the motivation for participation isn't as high as one might expect for casual players who simultaneously enjoy multiple games. Currently, players are hoping the development team will dedicate more time to optimizing the game experience and announce more comprehensive event plans in advance.

The Finals Adds PvE Mode

Embark's other game, The Finals, recently added AI-driven PvE gameplay, sparking considerable discussion among ARC Raiders players. Many hope a similar mode will appear in ARC Raiders.

In The Finals, players can fight against AI-controlled bots. The new Cash Grab mode offers a different experience from traditional PvP. Some players believe that adding this AI gameplay to ARC Raiders could be a significant addition to the game.

However, the two games have distinct focuses. The Finals is a more competitive FPS, while ARC Raiders emphasizes PvPvE, survival exploration, and player interaction. Therefore, whether to add a PvE mode still needs to be considered based on the overall direction of the game.

Currently, Embark has not confirmed that ARC Raiders will launch a standalone PvE mode, but The Finals' attempt undoubtedly showed players more possibilities.

Anti-Cheat System

Faced with persistent cheating in ARC Raiders, Embark recently launched the new BattlEye anti-cheat and stated that it is continuously improving the game's cheat detection mechanism. However, players still feel that the official changes are insufficient.

You may still encounter obvious anomalies in ARC Raiders, such as opponents knowing your location, equipment information, or even accurately predicting the location of nearby Raiders. The current anti-cheat measures for ARC Raiders seem ineffective.

Previously, Embark announced a ban wave targeting ARC Raiders Items duplication exploits. However, the specific number of bans and the conditions for banning are unclear, and no compensation has been received, leading many players to question the efficiency and transparency of the official anti-cheat system.

Player Feedback

In addition, the community continues to report various issues with ARC Raiders. Some players believe Seek Grenades currently suffer from tracking anomalies, sometimes failing to lock onto the true target and instead being attracted by other objects within buildings.

Players also hope that ARC Raiders will further adjust various weapon mechanics, optimize bugs, and provide more stable equipment performance.

Many players also point out that ARC Raiders' greatest appeal still lies in player interaction. Many enjoy encountering unfamiliar Raiders in the game, exploring the map together, collecting resources, and facing ARC enemy's side-by-side. This relaxed, cooperative atmosphere is an experience difficult to find in other games.

The community believes ARC Raiders currently has a solid foundation, but a single misstep could have serious consequences. Therefore, how the development team handles subsequent updates will determine the game's long-term popularity.

If you want to learn more about the latest ARC Raiders news, follow EZG Facebook. We also have limited-time giveaways where lucky players can receive free ARC Raiders items.

ARC Raiders is still in a phase of continuous adjustments, and players hope to see a more stable update schedule, richer game content, and a clearer development direction in the future. With Frozen Trail coming in October, players are hoping that ARC Raiders will continue to optimize matchmaking, gameplay mechanics, and event design to allow Extraction Shooter to truly realize its potential.

NBA 2K27 Badge System Could Stay the Same, But Badge Value Needs

Before each new NBA 2K game is announced, Badge system becomes one of the most discussed topics among players. After all, for today's 2K players, creating a player template is no longer just about ratings; Badges, animations, and attribute thresholds all influence the last choice.

It's highly unlikely that Badge system in NBA 2K27 will undergo a major overhaul. 2K has already completed a significant reduction in Badges over the past few years, moving from stacking dozens of Badges in the early days to retaining only the core Badges that truly affect the game. This direction is very clear.

However, there is currently no official information regarding Badge system in NBA 2K27. The following analysis is based on my experience playing NBA 2K26 and my understanding of the changes in 2K Build system, and does not represent any inside information.

Number of Badges Will Not Increase

In the past few entries, 2K series has been adjusting the number of Badges. The reason is simple: with more and more Badges, it becomes difficult for players to judge which ones are truly important.

Some badges look powerful, but the difference is barely noticeable in actual gameplay. Other badges have impressive names, but their stats completely overshadowed their effectiveness. For the development team, these badges have limited value.

I think 2K has realized this problem. Rather than adding a dozen new badges and subjecting players to more complex choices, they prefer to retain a few core badges. This facilitates balance and makes it easier for players to understand their build direction.

Therefore, I expect the number of badges in NBA 2K27 to remain largely unchanged, likely using the framework of NBA 2K26 with minor adjustments to some badge effects.

The real problem is quite obvious: the presence of badges in the game environment.

Value of Shooting Badges Has Been Weakened

Speaking of badges, we must discuss shooting.

One of the biggest features of NBA 2K26 was its relatively relaxed shooting environment. Many players could score consistently even without particularly powerful shooting badges. This has directly led to a decline in the perceived value of many shooting badges.

Badges like Deadeye, Set Shot Specialist, Shifty Shooter, and Mini Marksman, which should theoretically improve shooting consistency, often feel completely insignificant to players in practice.

I believe this is one of the biggest problems with 2K26 Badge system. When a player with a shooting stat of around 85 can easily make numerous open shots and even difficult shots without top-tier badges, then the badges naturally lose their appeal.

Currently, I think the only truly valuable shooting badge is Limitless Range. The reason is simple: it changes the shooting range, and this improvement is immediately noticeable to players.

If NBA 2K27 increases the difficulty of shooting, making release timing and attribute differences important again, then the value of shooting badges might return. However, if the game continues in its current state, most shooting badges will remain somewhat underwhelming.

Posterizer May Continue to Be a Controversial Badge

One of the most regrettable badges in NBA 2K26 for me is Posterizer.

Players who enjoy driving to the basket know that finishing is a skill. Knowing when to use a Euro step, when to do a reverse layup, when to force a takeoff, and when to choose between left and right hands for a dunk - all of these require experience. And what driving players truly enjoy is this process of judgment.

However, NBA 2K26's dynamic dunk bar affects this. Often, players have clearly executed the correct driving route and found the right opportunity, but the dunk bar's fluctuations lead to inconsistent results. This turns dunking from a skill-based activity into a matter of luck.

Even more problematic is that the differences between Posterizer levels don't meet player expectations.

Theoretically, there should be a significant difference between Bronze, Gold, and Legendary levels, but in actual gameplay, if your driving and dunking attributes are already high enough, the improvement from different badge levels isn't noticeable.

This is why many players are starting to question whether spending a lot of resources to pursue Legendary Posterizer is worthwhile.

If NBA 2K27 wants to improve its finishing system, the focus should be on the dunking mechanics themselves, rather than continuing to enhance Badge stats.

Attribute Values are More Important than Badges

My biggest takeaway from playing 2K these past few years is that attributes are becoming increasingly important.

Previously, many players would first consider how many Legendary Badges they could acquire when creating a template. But now, everyone is gradually realizing that the impact of high attributes is very significant. Take Physical Finisher Badge, for example. It was indeed very effective in NBA 2K26; the difference between Bronze and Gold, and between Gold and Legendary, was noticeable.

But consider it: why is it effective?

Because players who can obtain advanced Physical Finishers already have very high Strength attributes. A Strength of 90+ with a Badge performs completely differently from a Strength of 75+ with a Legendary Badge. This shows that, often, Badges are simply additional enhancements built upon existing attributes.

The same applies to Layup Badges. When players need 97 or even 99 points in driving layups to obtain the advanced Layup Mixmaster, the real determinant of performance is still that 99 attribute. Badges can be icing on the cake, but attributes are the foundation. I believe this is the most important point for players to consider when building in NBA 2K27.

My Prediction

My biggest prediction for NBA 2K27 is that Badge system won't change much.

2K is now more focused on optimizing game mechanics than adding more complex content. The real concern for players has shifted from "Are there new badges?" to "Are these badges actually useful?"

The strength of many badges may only be determined after the game's official release, through data testing by a professional team over several seasons. Their data will be more reliable than simply looking at the badge descriptions.

Therefore, if I were to give NBA 2K27 players some advice in advance, it would be to not be too distracted by legendary badges when building. Consider attributes first, then animations, and finally badge combinations.

After all, in recent 2K entries, what truly determines a player's strength has always been their overall ability, not how many legends are listed in Badge section.

As NBA 2K27 builds become more complex, saving time on upgrades will be important. Players who want to quickly test different templates and optimize their builds can pre-order NBA 2K27 MT from EZG.com to get the resources needed without wasting time on long grinds.

With Badge effects continuing to depend on attributes and gameplay mechanics, players should focus on how much impact each Badge actually provides instead of simply chasing higher Badge levels.
