Raiders of ARC Raiders, a new week has begun, which means another round of weekly trials is about to begin. Although these Trials haven't received great reviews in recent weeks, with countless negative comments, this is, after all, a unique feature of the game and is unlikely to change easily.
However, the good news is that in just one more week, on February 24th, the latest Shrouded Sky Update will be released, which will contain a wealth of new content for you to explore. Prior to this, you still need to complete this week's trial and claim all the rewards.
To help you complete all the trial tasks faster and prepare for the next update, EZG.com, your best gaming partner, will provide you with specific solutions and precautions for each task in Week 17 to facilitate your exploration.
Trial Mission List
Compared to the trials in Week 16, this week's missions are a level higher in difficulty, and the combat risks you'll face are also greater. Here are the names of each mission:
- Damage Wasps
- Download Information inside The Bunker
- Damage Queens or Matriarchs
- Destroy Ticks
- Open ARC Probes
It's worth noting that for Arc enemies like Wasps, Queens, or Matriarchs, you only need to inflict damage on them; however, Ticks require you to completely eliminate them, which carries less risk, so you don't need to worry too much.
For the other two command-based missions, simply be wary of the raiders lurking nearby, also there to complete the trial. They will be the biggest obstacle to your success. Below, we'll introduce these missions one by one.
Damage Wasps
While Wasps are a bit harder to kill as small flying Arc enemies than ticks and pops, they are no problem at all if you follow the plan provided in this guide.
First, you need to understand that the difficulty of killing these flying enemies increases over time. Therefore, in the early stages of their appearance, you need to find their weaknesses and choose the corresponding weapons to damage them.
As we all know, the main weakness of these flying Arc enemies is their thrusters, so you need to use a long-range weapon to strike them accurately. Many players are more inclined to prepare these types of weapons to enter raids in order to complete the trials, but if you die in them, you will suffer heavy losses.
So, it is highly recommended that you look for maps equipped with ranged weapons and find them by looting or picking them up. This way, you won't suffer any losses even if you die before completing the mission.
Once you see Wasps appear, maintain a low profile and snipe them from a safe distance at a higher vantage point, as they have difficulty tracking enemies at the same or higher altitude. Finally, focus your fire on their blades, and they will fall to the ground.
Download Information inside The Bunker
These types of directive tasks were the most time-consuming in previous trials, and Week 17 is no exception. It is recommended that you complete them last, but you can also complete them while you are at it if you want to scavenge more valuable Arc Raiders Items from Hidden Bunker.
This mission specifically takes place on Spaceport map and requires waiting for Hidden Bunker condition to activate. Once everything is ready, you need to locate the four antennas and activate them all to open Hidden Bunker door. There will be a terminal involved; you can interact with it and download data.
By the way, if any member of the squad downloads data, the entire squad's trial progress will be included. So teaming up can help you advance the trial faster and successfully defend against attacks from other raiders.
Damage Queens or Matriarchs
To complete this task, you need to enter a map containing these two super bosses, with a higher probability of them appearing in the Stella Montis or Spaceport area. Unlike the damage Wasps just now, these two enemies can no longer be defended against with free loadouts. Instead, you need to bring a more powerful loadout and try to kill them as a team.
Please remember that while completely defeating the Queen or Chieftain will certainly reward you with a huge amount of ARC Raiders Items and other loot, this trial only requires dealing damage. You can still earn stars even if you don't completely eliminate the boss.
Destroy Ticks
Returning to the topic of small enemy kills, you can now use some free loadouts to deliver a fatal blow, as long as you aim for weak points and avoid being surrounded.
Ideally, you should take down these enemies one by one in one-on-one combat. If you are outnumbered, find the nearest retreat point, leave, and start a new raid.
Open ARC Probes
Although the developer's task description says that you only need to walk around finding these kinds of loot, it's not that simple in reality. You also need to pay close attention to Prospecting Probes event, which will increase the probability of probes appearing.
During this process, listen carefully to the prompts emitted by the probes, and once you find one, make sure there are no threats around before destroying it to complete the mission and collect the loot.
This concludes the detailed explanation of all the trials in ARC Raiders Week 17. Shared Watch event is still in full swing, and we hope that the rewards you earn by completing all the trials will allow you to earn the highest prizes in this event. Enjoy the game!
