MLB The Show 25 May Player OVR Changes: How Many Players Got A Boost?

MLB The Show 25 made adjustments to the OVR of a large number of players in the early May update, with many players receiving an increase or decrease of 1 or 2 points. The value of the players who received an increase increased significantly.

May 08, 2025 Author: EZG

In the early May update of MLB The Show 25, numerous players’ OVRs changed. Many players received a 1-3 point increase or decrease. Players with increased ratings also saw a significant increase in value on the free market, allowing players who own these players to earn some stubs.

90 OVR Or Above Players

  • Aaron Judge (Yankees): 92 OVR, up 2 points
  • Fernando Tatis Jr. (Padres): 92 OVR, up 4 points

After these two cards received a rating increase, their value on the free market has greatly increased. Fernando Tatis Jr. was around 66,000 Stubs on April 28, and now you need 144,000 MLB The Show 25 Stubs to trade for him. Players who have extra Fernando Tatis Jr. will definitely make a lot of stubs.

MLB 25 Stubs Hot Sale At EZG.com

There are quite a few players between 80 and 84 OVR, and they are also the main components of the player’s team. The biggest improvement is Hunter Brown, who got a huge 6-point increase, instantly upgrading from 76 points to 82 points, and his value has also doubled several times. You now need about 2000 stubs to unlock him.

There are quite a few players left, and the value of players below 80 OVR will not fluctuate much even if the points change, so the following content is not counted.

Dune Awakening Melee Swordmaster Build: What Weapons And Skills Are Needed?

The combat in Dune Awakening can be mainly divided into melee and ranged, both of which are very powerful combat methods, but because of the existence of Holtzman shields, a little balance is made, so ranged attacks are not completely dominant in this game.

The reason for choosing melee is that Holtzman shields cannot block slow objects, so you can use melee to do the most damage. And some characters’ skills are very helpful for melee, so whether in PVP or PVE, melee is worth trying, and the following is a build based on Swordmaster’s skills.

Melee Swordmaster Equipment

  • Weapon: Halleck’s Pick (Tier 6 Long Blades)
  • Secondary Weapon: Adept Disruptor Pistol (Tier 5 Sidearms)
  • Tools: Power Pack MK5

Armor: Syndicate Helmet, Syndicate Chestplate, Syndicate Boots, Syndicate Gauntlets, Syndicate Pants

Most of equipment for this build is actually very easy to get. The one that is more difficult to get is Halleck’s Pick. Its schematic of this unique item can only be found in Deep Desert. Before you get it, you can exchange Dune Awakening Solari for a Tier 5 long sword in the market, such as Kharet Viper, and this weapon can inflict poison on the enemy, which is a wonderful effect.

Mentat’s skills are not needed here, but if it is a ranged build, it may be needed. In battle, you need to flexibly use the three abilities of Crippling Strike, Inspiration and Knee Charge, which can close the distance with the opponent and quickly destroy the enemy’s balance.

Melee Attack Tips

Melee attacks have 4 types of attacks: light attack, thrust attack, heavy attack and slow blade attack. The first two have the advantage of fast attack speed, but the damage caused by the attack is not high. The latter two attacks are very slow to attack and the damage is very high, usually 4 to 8 times the damage of light attacks. Your specific damage depends on your weapon and the armor provided by the opponent’s Dune Awakening items. This mainly shows that you need to try to hit the enemy with your slow blade attack and heavy attack in the melee.

If you want the heavy attack to hit the opponent, you must make the opponent unbalanced. Under the protection of Holtzman shield, the opponent is usually not so easy to unbalance. You need to hit the opponent three times to make him shake. If your opponent has a passive skill that can reduce the damage of balance, then he can withstand more attacks.

You must strictly manage your stamina in combat and be sure to avoid frequent sprints and meaningless attacks. Learn to conserve a certain amount of stamina in case you cannot dash in a critical moment.

The above is the basic information of the melee Swordmaster build. Melee is not as easy to master as firearms, but once you can master this offensive method, you may be more efficient in dealing with your opponents than ranged ones.

College Football 26 Dynasty Mode Guide: What Are The Differences Between It And Its Predecessor?

Compared to College Football 25, CFB 26 has made some changes in the gameplay, allowing players to more formally simulate the various changes in college football. Players need to think about how to recruit players, how to arrange tactics, and which players to arrange to appear.

The biggest changes made by College Football 26 are Dynasty mode. This mode revolves around the recruitment gameplay, and you set various conditions for players based on the assets of the university to build your team.

Coach

A big change in NCAA 26 is the coaching aspect. In this mode, you can choose to create a custom coach or choose an existing coach. Compared with College Football 25, the preset coaches of EA CFB 26 are all based on real coaches. There are 300 such coaches in total, and these coaches have different coaching abilities, tactical tendencies, and tactical planning. Unfortunately, some coaches are not included in College Football 26:

  • Bill Belichick (North Carolina)
  • Mark Carney (Kent State)
  • Mario Cristobal (Miami)
  • Trent Dilfer (UAB)
  • Jason Eck (New Mexico)
  • Kirk Ferentz (Iowa)
  • Tyson Helton (Western Kentucky)
  • Charles Kelly (Jacksonville State)
  • Bronco Mendenhall (Utah State)
  • Frank Reich (Stanford)
  • Deion Sanders (Colorado)
  • Bryant Vincent (ULM)

After you create your coach, you will compete against other coaches. No coach is perfect, so you will definitely have a chance to win them.

Coach Development

Coaches also have a growth system, and you can unlock more skills by upgrading your coach. The level cap of coaches has been increased from 50 to 100 compared to NCAA 25. You need College Football 26 coins to unlock the abilities of your coach and continue to add points to his skills. Level 1 coaches only have 25 coins and can only unlock one ability.

Here are the coach abilities in NCAA 26:

  • CEO
  • Program Builder
  • Recruiter (initial selection)
  • Tactician (initial selection)
  • Motivator (initial selection)
  • Architect
  • Strategist
  • Talent Developer

After you invest enough EA CFB 26 coins in one category, you can start unlocking other skills. College Football 26 has made some balances in the coach’s skills, and coaches with higher returns will also face more risks.

Coach Carousel

Coordinators are also an important part of team development, and now you can be notified when coordinators have job changes. You can arrange training plans based on the promotion or job change of your coordinators and other teams. And in Program Builder, you also have three new options to decide whether to keep your coordinator on the team or replace a new coordinator.

Player Recruiting

In terms of player recruitment, you can choose in the trade portal whether to recruit young high school players for development or to change your lineup every offseason. But you have to meet the expectations of the players.

Recruiting players is not based on NCAA 26 coins you have, but on whether your promise can attract players, and if you cannot meet their expectations after recruiting players, they will leave.

The main judgment for players to find players is the star and overall rating of the players, and the star rating of College Football 26 will be affected by the player’s grade and position. For example, when the overall rating is the same, the star rating of a freshman may be higher than that of a senior player, which differs from College Football 25, which is completely based on OVR.

After you meet the expectations of the players and successfully recruit them, you must give the recruited players enough playing time, otherwise some five-star rookies and quarterbacks will leave.

Recruiting Requirements

In College Football 26, players will take more factors into consideration when choosing a school. If the players are close to your school, it will be easier to recruit them.

You can also recruit other schools or even players from other countries, but that will take up a lot of your time.

Player Expectations

In NACC 25, the player’s expectations were constant, but in EA CFB 26, in order to show a more realistic player mentality, when a player has made enough progress in a season, he will raise his expectations. If your team is not big enough to meet his requirements, he will leave your team and look for a better college team.

Career Health

Another innovative point of EA CFB 26 is the addition of Career Health to players. When your players join in the game, they will suffer some wear and tear damage. And they can use Career Health pool to repair this part of the damage. Once this pool is exhausted, your player will remain injured and enter the injury list, and you cannot send him out. Only until the next season can this pool be replenished.

If your player’s health is empty at the end of the season, his Career Health pool will be reduced next season. Frequent use of a player will affect his career, so you need to make excellent decisions.

The above are the general changes in College Football 26 Dynasty mode. Compared with the previous game, it has made more detailed adjustments, all of which are to allow you to create more brilliant moments in the game.

Dune Awakening Patch 1.1.0.17 Review: Did This Change Kill The PvP Gameplay?

Two weeks after Dune Awakening went live, the game has received its first major patch, which has made timely changes to many player feedback issues and greatly optimized the current end-game experience.

This change mainly involves Deep Desert, turning almost half of the area into a PVE area. Are players satisfied with this change? Let’s have a look below.

Deep Desert

The biggest change is the change to the PVP area, which is Deep Desert. Before the update, the best equipment that players could get in the PVE area was only around T5, and Dune Awakening items required to make T5 equipment also needed to be got from Deep Desert area.

In Patch 1.1.0.17, the PVP area in Deep Desert was reduced by about half, and now the PvE area has been adjusted to the entire southern half of Deep Desert map, from area E2 to area A will now become a PVE area. You can now explore or build bases in these areas without worrying about being besieged by other players.

Control Points and Shipwrecks in PVE areas will still be a small PVP area, so if you encounter other players here, you must be vigilant.

PVE players can now come here almost safely to collect level 6 materials, and the richest areas are still in PVP areas. You can find spice fields and Control Points in PVP areas.

Here are the changes to resource points in Deep Desert:

  • The number of medium spice fields has been reduced from 8 to 5.
  • The number of small spice fields has been increased from 20 to 22.
  • The number of resource nodes in Deep Desert PvE section has been reduced.
  • The respawn time of Titanium and Stravidium has been increased to 45 minutes.

Although the resources in Deep Desert that have become PVE areas are less than before, it is still much better than blocking PVE players from Deep Desert area.

Is This A Pleasant Change?

PVE Players

First of all, this is definitely a good thing for PVE players. PVE players are basically single players. There are only two reasons which they don’t join in PVP: they don’t like PVP content, and they are worried that their weapons and equipment are too backward to beat PVP players.

The number of PVE enthusiasts in Dune Awakening is significantly higher than that of PVP. According to the published data, global players have consumed over than 120 million building parts, manufactured 517,000 ornithopters, and collected 6.11 billion grams of spices. The total area surveyed by players reached 25,529,505 square kilometers, 56,253 milliliters of blood were extracted from enemies, 66,000 players died in sandstorms, 816,000 died in sandworm attacks, and 628,000 died in Deep Desert.

This update allows most PVE players to get better materials, equipment and unique item schematics. They only need to take a little more time than PVP players to get top-level Dune Awakening items.

PvE players with top gear can now go to the PvP area to steal some materials from time to time. However, players who plan to do this must remember that your ornithopter must be at least T5, and you’d better prepare a spare ornithopter in your base, or at least prepare more parts, because you may be shot down by other players at any time.

PVP Players

Many PvP players have complained about this change, thinking that this change will ruin the content of PvP, but in fact, when the change officially takes effect, almost no one complains about this.

Because shrinking the PvP area is also a good thing for PvP players. In the previous Deep Desert PvP area was too large, and you could not meet large-scale PvP players in most areas, and this update compressed the PvP area, making it easier for PvP players to meet each other and then have a random battle.

Although such changes are worthy of recognition, the problem of cheating players rampant in the game is still serious, making it difficult for PvP enthusiasts to get a good gaming experience. Just adding a few PVE areas will not completely solve this problem. Further measures are still needed to combat cheating and improve the gaming environment.

Other Changes

In addition to the changes to the PVP area, there are some adjustments to optimize the gameplay, which will also affect PVP combat.

Rocket Launcher Module will cause your ornithopter to slow down, Scout Ornithopters will slow down by 20% and Assault Ornithopters will slow down by 10%. This is a good thing for single players who drive Scout Ornithopters to PVP areas to steal resources, so it is difficult for PVP players’ Ornithopters to catch up with him.

The second is that if you jump directly from the ornithopter, it will automatically land instead of gliding away. This is to prevent players who suddenly disconnect from the line from losing their ornithopters.

In short, these are some adjustments to optimize the gameplay. However, although this patch was very successful, the combat part of the game was not good enough so far. Whether it is the long-range design or the melee knife combat, it is not very smooth. This is also the reason players prefer PVE content, so I hope that the game can continue to optimize the combat feel.

WoW MoP Classic Changes: How Is It Different From 13 Years Ago?

For most WoW players, Mists Of Pandaria is always in their top three expansions. It was released in 2012 and brought a new race, Pandaren, and a new class, Monk.

The time spent exploring Pandaria is undoubtedly one of the best moments of the game. And 13 years later, World Of WarCraft Mists of Pandaria Classic is about to be released, and if you have played it or heard of it, you can relive your old times in it.

But of course, WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic is not exactly the same as the 2012 version. After all, although it is still the same company, the develope people are completely different. Let’s take a look at its new changes.

Date

World Of WarCraft Mists of Pandaria Classic will be officially released on July 21, when it will replace the current version and allow players to return and explore the world shrouded in fog and mystery, Pandaria.

Different Start

Unlike the freshness and excitement that Mists of Pandaria brought to players when it was first released, after many years, players have already known all the content of Mists of Pandaria and will no longer feel fresh. The developers naturally understand this, so they provide many services that can be obtained without WoW Classic MoP gold:

  • Level 85: As long as you defeat Balnazaar in the current season, you can upgrade your character directly to level 85 in MoP, and this also applies to Pandaren monks.
  • Free mount: After playing the initial area with Pandaren, you can get the mount, Shaohao’s Sage Serpent. (It will be added to your modern World of WarCraft account)

Flying Improvements

In the original version, you had to get your characters to level 90 to get the ability to fly, but in Mists Of Pandaria Classic, you only need to redeem Tome of Four Winds Fight in the store with MoP Classic gold after one of your classes reaches level 90, and then transfer this item to your other lower-level characters to make them fly as well.

Another good news is that you will level up very quickly in MoP Classic, so your main class will reach level 90 very quickly.

Legendary Quest

Legendary quests in the original game were a bit tedious because you had to participate in raid boss battles to get sigils, now you can collect sigils in Celestial dungeons, which is definitely much faster than before.

No Flex Raiding

Flex Raiding means that you can participate in raids with any size between 10 and 25 people, and its difficulty will also change dynamically. In Mists of Pandaria, you can only participate in the raid with a fixed 10 or 25 people, which requires players to find a reliable partner.

Faster Story Progress

The duration of Cataclysm Classic is shorter than the original Cataclysm. It took players more than a year to welcome Mists of Pandaria, so the progress of MoP will definitely be accelerated. The original version lasted for two years. Now that the production pressure is saved, the story progress of Mists of Pandaria Classic may be compressed to less than a year.

Reputation

The reputation system of Mists of Pandaria is its downfall, and it has been complained by players because it is too bloated and cumbersome. You have to do a lot of boring things for reputation.

In Mists of Pandaria Classic, the developers intend to streamline this system. Players can get a residence at the beginning without waiting for several months. After one of your characters reaches the maximum reputation level, your other characters will gain reputation faster.

Pre-Patch

The pre-patch for Mists Of Pandaria Classic is even bigger than the one for Mists Of Pandaria. It will add a pet system and allow you to upgrade your Pandaren monk to level 85 before the release on July 21, allowing you to dominate this season right from the start.

New Celestial Dungeon

Celestial dungeons are more difficult than normal dungeons. You will even encounter bosses in the raid. Of course, Mists Of Pandaria Classic gold and equipment you can get are much richer than in normal dungeons, and his is undoubtedly a new challenge.

No More Raid Finder

This feature removal will undoubtedly increase the difficulty of the raid. Only players who really understand the raid can pass it. This is undoubtedly very unfriendly news for casual players, but successfully completing the raid can also bring more sense of achievement.

PVP

PVP will add more gladiators, and you can get rewards more easily. On the other hand, PVE items will be restricted to PVP, which undoubtedly improves the fairness of PVP.

World Of WarCraft Mists Of Pandaria Class is one of the most classic expansion packs in the history of WOW, and it still enjoys an excellent reputation among players. Whether you have ever been a player of World Of WarCraft or not, Pandaria is worth your visit and exploration.

91 OVR Topps Now Colton Gordon

  • H/9: 83
  • K/9: 88
  • BB/9: 92
  • HR/9: 81
  • Pitch Clutch: 90
  • Control: 89
  • Velocity: 76
  • Break: 90

Colton Gordon will make his major league debut as a starting pitcher for Astros on May 14, 2025. He had an up-and-down month in June. He had a great performance on June 6, which gave him his first win in MLB 25, and he also had a great performance against Twins on June 13, but the left-hander’s performance in the next game against Athletics was a little worse.

As a starting pitcher, 91 OVR Colton Gordon currently ranks 44th in MLB 25. His statistics are very balanced, except for a slightly slower speed. Other than that, Colton Gordon is not far behind the top pitchers.

91 OVR Topps Now Jac Caglianone

  • Contact Right: 101
  • Contact Left: 84
  • Power Right: 92
  • Power Left: 90
  • Vision: 70
  • Discipline: 67

  • Bunt: 35
  • Drag Bunt: 25

Jac Caglianone just entered MLB on June 2 of this year, becoming an outfielder and first baseman for Kansas City Royals. He has hit two home runs in his at-bats in June, and in the same game, which undoubtedly proves his value.

Jac Caglianone’s attributes are very good. He has no shortcomings in both contact and power, but judging from his record of hitting two home runs, his power attribute should obviously be higher.

93 OVR Spotlight Series Hunter Goodman

  • Contact Right: 102
  • Contact Left: 88
  • Power Right: 107
  • Power Left: 90
  • Vision: 67
  • Discipline: 32
  • Clutch: 105
  • Bunt: 35
  • Drag Bunt: 25
  • Durability: 95

Hunter Goodman is not an MLB rookie. He has already made his debut in the major leagues in 2023. He is currently a catcher and first baseman for Rockies. Hunter Goodman has been in hot form this month, reversing Rockies’ decline, and many fans think he should play in All-Star Game.

Hunter Goodman ranks seventh in MLB 25. He can also play as a left and right outfielder and first baseman. This flexible position selection makes his value far higher than most players who need MLB The Show 25 stubs. His right hand has strong contact and power, allowing him to successfully hit home runs in the game.

CoD Black Ops 6 Season 4 Reloaded Preview: It Is Worth Looking Forward To New Modes, Weapons And Maps!

It has been over than 20 days since the update of CoD Black Ops 6 Season 4, and we will soon usher in the mid-term update of Season 4.

Although the changes brought by each mid-season update will not be as many as the season update, there are still many exciting contents. The new content of this Season 4 includes new modes, new maps and new equipment.

Date

The mid-season update of CoD Black Ops 6 Season 4, according to the pass, may be around June 26, and the specific time is around 9 am Pacific time/12 pm Eastern time/5 pm British Summer Time.

New Weapons

The two weapons previously previewed in season 4 will finally appear in the next update. They are the melee weapon Pickaxe and Olympia Shotgun.

As a melee weapon, the pickaxe can kill with one shot, but has a medium attack speed, which is obviously similar to the cleaver. If you want to understand the difference between them, you can try using them in CoD Black Ops 6 Bot Lobbies.

Olympia Shotgun was a very deadly weapon in Black Ops 3. It can almost kill with one shot at close range, but it must be reloaded frequently. Some players question whether it can be as good as in Black Ops 3. This is unclear, but the developers have retained its barrel and stock attachments, but there are no optical sights, muzzles, under barrels, rear grips, laser guns or ammunition modifications, and It is a bit strange that it is classified as a special weapon.

Zombie Mode

Many players are looking forward to a brand new map in Season 4 Reloaded, but the developers have confirmed that the new map is the content of Season 5. The new content of the next update will have two new activities and two limited-time activities.

  • King of the Dead (June 26-July 3): Players earn points by killing the logo zombie mode in the first week.
  • Master of Grief (July 10-17): After this mode is launched, players need to collect Essence in Grief.

Finally, Players will get the rewards which are according to the points ranking, but the developer has not announced the specific rewards. In addition, the developer confirmed that Grief mode is not a limited-time mode, and there will be more patches to make it more interesting.

Starting Room LTM

One of the two limited-time modes, players will enter the starting room of Moon mode in Black Ops 1. Players can only move on a part of this map and try to survive the zombies.

Abomination Challenge LTM

Players will come to Liberty Falls (a warped version) to challenge the very powerful Super Abomination. If your weapon level is not high enough, then your damage to it will also be reduced. You may have to use COD BO6 Redeem Codes to speed up your weapon upgrades.

Multiplayer Mode

Season 4 Reloaded will add two maps, Eclipse and Fringe. Fringe is a map from Call of Duty Black Ops 3, while Eclipse is a brand new map.

Warzone Mode

Season 4 Reloaded will add Resurgence Rank, which will exist at the same time as Verdansk Rank. There will also be two limited-time modes:

  • Havoc Royale Limited-time Mode: 44 players in a 15-minute chaotic battle in a limited area of Verdansk
  • Resurgence Casual Mode: basically the same as Resurgence mode, but there will be robots in the lobby.

Players need to gain experience in Zombies mode, Multiplayer mode, and Warzone mode to unlock milestone rewards. There are a total of 16 rewards and players need to get 622,000 XP to unlock all rewards.
