Compared to the previous arena, it has a 50% larger geographical range, which allows for greater elevation changes and additional cover, giving players more opportunities for flanking attacks.

According to the descriptions of players who have experienced it and the trailer released by the developers, Verdant Court will contain ancient ruins, waterfalls, and weathered statues. The style of these buildings is very similar to that of Monarch’s Bluffs region, full of mysterious and natural style.

Not only that, the gameplay has also been changed in Verdant Court: in the early rounds, you will feel that this is a long-range combat method; but as the battle progresses and the game area shrinks, your combat method will gradually become close combat.

In some interviews and announcements, the developer stated that the addition of this super-large arena will greatly balance the player’s switching of combat strategies between the wide field of view of long-range combat and dense cover, as well as the transition feeling of escalating tension as the round progresses.

New Artifacts

Season 9 still has some new and remade Artifacts added to the game, which can be used by different classes:

• Fishing for Fame - Catching some rare fish or completing corresponding fishing tasks can provide you with exclusive accessories or furniture.

Completing daily or weekly Medley Faire tasks will earn you Summer Tokens, which can be used to redeem special skins, emotes, housing items, and consumables at the event vendors.

Expeditions Unleashed

This is a new world boss event for this season. You need to kill the corresponding boss at a specific time to obtain valuable loot. The current schedule is as follows:

• Empress Week: Sept 9–15
• Mammoth Mahantaram: Oct 7–13

Boost Events

Similarly, Boost Events are also the main content of this season update, which will give you some special boosts during the specified time:

• Double Refining XP: Aug 19–25
