As time passed, veteran players stopped paying special attention to the series, and community discussions focused more on Live Series, the latest packs, and newly released popular cards.

However, those free acquisition methods are now largely gone. Currently, obtaining tradable Spring Breakout cards mainly relies on existing stock in MLB 26 trading market.

This differs from series like Trade Deadlines and All-Star Games. The latter frequently reappear in various packs, quickly replenishing stock after shortages, making sustained price increases less likely.

Not to mention, most players' attention isn't currently focused on Spring Breakout. Compared to those popular investment cards that have been repeatedly discussed in the community, Spring Breakout currently offers ample room for investment.

Investment Risks

The continued rise in Spring Breakout's value hinges on one clear premise: the official release must not spike new supply.

If subsequent events include Spring Breakout Pack, or if these cards enter permanent reward pools like Ultra Pack, their original scarcity will be diminished.

As the market shifts from primarily consuming old inventory to a continuous influx of new cards, the price ceiling naturally needs to be reassessed.

Therefore, this type of investment is not suitable for putting all your MLB The Show 26 Stubs into one go. Similarly, don't use the previous high of around 70K as your target price this time.

A safer approach is to spread your investment across multiple cards instead of going too heavily into one. This way, you can sell in batches as prices rise. For example, recoup some costs with 20K, sell some more with 30K, and if it continues to rise to 40K or 50K, then manage the remaining inventory based on market conditions.

Low Attention

In Diamond Dynasty, many investment opportunities don't wait for anyone. By the time most players realize a particular series is profitable, the market price has often already risen, and entering at that point offers less profit potential.

Spring Breakout presents an excellent investment opportunity now. Many MLB 26 players still treat it as old news from April, and Konnor Griffin Program is long over; they rarely pay attention to this series anymore.

The market doesn't care about the novelty of the content; it only cares about two things: how much inventory is currently available, and how much demand will follow. Right now, the flash sale has just pushed back a batch of cards that could have sold for tens of thousands of stubs to around 10,000.

As long as new Spring Breakout Packs aren't continuously released, the inventory increased by this flash sale will be gradually absorbed by the market. When demand for later collections really picks up and players start chasing this series again, the supply shortage is likely to return.
