In ARC Raiders, weapons are crucial for survival, especially when fighting against ARC or other Raiders. At the start of the game, you might only have some basic free gear, but as the game progresses, you'll acquire more and better weapons and Blueprints. At this point, you'll need to start choosing: which weapon is the best? What are their strengths and weaknesses?
This guide ranks some of the most commonly used and powerful firearms in ARC Raiders, including those introduced after Flashpoint update, from S to B tiers for your reference.
ARC Raiders offers many weapons, some ideal for fighting ARC, while others are better suited for eliminating enemies. We've considered the overall performance of all weapons to create the following ranking.
Tier S Weapons
Anvil
- Rarity: Uncommon
- Ammo Type: Heavy
- Firing Mode: Single-action
- ARC Armor Penetration: High
While Anvil isn't exactly a top-tier epic or legendary weapon, it's a favorite among ARC Raiders players. Although Tier 1 Anvil has a relatively slow rate of fire and magazine capacity, with the right upgrades and attachments, it can become a weapon comparable to legendary weapons.
Dolabra
- Rarity: Legendary
- Ammo Type: Energy Clip
- Firing Mode: Semi-automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: High
This gun was released with Flashpoint update, but it quickly became a new mainstream weapon in ARC Raiders. It features both close-range and mid-range firing modes, allowing players to dominate ARC and other Raiders. If you don't already have this gun, acquire it as soon as possible, as it may be nerfed later.
Renegade
- Rarity: Rare
- Ammo Type: Medium
- Firing Mode: Lever-action
- ARC Armor Penetration: Medium
This rifle is highly popular in both PvP and PvE combat, performing exceptionally well in various battle scenarios. To achieve its best performance, you'll need to upgrade Renegade to its maximum potential using ARC Raiders Materials and add necessary weapon attachments.
Tempest
- Rarity: Epic
- Ammo Type: Medium
- Firing Mode: Full-auto
- ARC Armor Penetration: Moderate
Tempest is the strongest Assault Rifle in ARC Raiders' lineup, boasting extremely high rate of fire and accuracy, easily defeating opponents. Currently, no other rifle can replace it.
Tier A Weapon
Bobcat
- Rarity: Epic
- Ammo Type: Light
- Firing Mode: Full-auto
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Weak
If only PvE mode is considered, Bobcat is definitely an S-tier weapon. However, defeating other Raiders with Bobcat in PvP takes time, and its lower accuracy ultimately relegates it to A-tier rating.
Canto
- Rarity: Rare
- Ammo Type: Medium
- Firing Mode: Full Auto
- ARC Armor Penetration: Medium
Canto was added to the game alongside Dolabra in Flashpoint update, so this new SMG didn't initially attract much attention. However, Canto boasts a top rate of fire, making it an ideal choice for close-quarters combat after Bobcat. If players can't acquire Bobcat in time, Canto can compensate for this, despite its significant recoil.
Equalizer
- Rarity: Legendary
- Ammo Type: Energy Clip
- Firing Mode: Full Auto
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very High
Few weapons among ARC Raiders possess extremely high ARC armor penetration, and Equalizer is one of them. It can easily penetrate ARC enemies, but it's less effective in PvP, has a slow rate of fire, and cannot be upgraded.
Hullcracker
- Rarity: Epic
- Ammo Type: Launcher Ammo
- Fire Mode: Pump-Action
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Strong
Hullcracker has been nerfed repeatedly, but it remains one of the game's killer weapons, and you can use it to defeat the new ARC - Vaporizer. Its only drawback is its inconsistency in PvP.
Jupiter
- Rarity: Legendary
- Ammo Type: Energy Clip
- Fire Mode: Bolt-Action
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Strong
Jupiter has been upgraded and is now a Tier A weapon in ARC Raiders tier. It's very effective against ARC enemies, but still not a mainstream choice in PvP.
Vulcano
- Rarity: Epic
- Ammo Type: Shotgun Ammo
- Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Weak
Vulcano deals amazing damage in close-quarters combat, but performs poorly in long-range combat. However, it's effective against ARCs, making it a strong overall Tier A weapon.
Tier B Weapons
Burletta
- Rarity: Uncommon
- Ammo Type: Light Ammo
- Firing Mode: Single Shot
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Weak
Burletta is slightly weaker against ARC, but remains a good choice in PvP combat. With proper modifications and upgrades, it can achieve decent damage output, stable performance, and range.
Ferro
- Rarity: Common
- Ammo Type: Heavy Ammo
- Firing Mode: Folding
- ARC Armor Penetration: Strong
Ferro is a veteran weapon among ARC Raiders. It's inexpensive, suitable for mid-to-long-range combat, and provides strong ARC armor penetration. However, its slow rate of fire, small magazine capacity, and long reload time put Raiders at a disadvantage in close-quarters combat.
Il Toro
- Rarity: Uncommon
- Ammo Type: Shotgun Ammo
- Firing Mode: Pump-action
- ARC Armor Penetration: Weak
This weapon was once very popular, belonging to S-tier, but has been significantly nerfed. It still has a loyal following and is used in close-quarters PvP combat.
Stitcher
- Rarity: Common
- Ammo Type: Light Ammo
- Firing Mode: Fully Automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Very Weak
Stitcher is the second most common weapon after Ferro. While players may find it difficult to handle at first, it becomes quite useful in practice.
Torrente
- Rarity: Rare
- Ammo Type: Medium Ammo
- Firing Mode: Fully Automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Medium
Torrente is the only Light Machine Gun in ARC Raiders. It boasts a large magazine capacity and high rate of fire, but its accuracy is low.
Venator
- Rarity: Rare
- Ammo Type: Medium
- Firing Mode: Semi-automatic
- ARC Armor Penetration: Medium
Venator was once arguably the strongest gun in the game, but after being nerfed, it now only ranks in Tier B. Its advantage is that it can fire two bullets at once.
This concludes the ranking of some guns in ARC Raiders. Hopefully, you can obtain S-tier weapon you desire.
