AION 2 Assassin PvE Build Guide: Skills, Stigma, Macro, and DPS Rotation

Learn the best AION 2 Assassin PvE build, including Early and Mid Game skills, Stigma priorities, Macro setup, Heart Gore upgrades, Back Attack positioning, and DPS rotation.

Sep 27, 2026 Author: EZG Views: 14

Assassin has high burst damage in AION 2 PvE, but it also relies heavily on positioning and skill rhythm.

Early Game mainly focuses on the continuous output of Quick Slice and Savage Roar. After entering Level 45, the frequency of use of Heart Gore and Insignia Explosion will increase significantly.

This profession needs to master two things most: reasonable arrangement of Burst Buffs such as Illusive Clone and Swift Contract, and maintaining Back Attack position behind the boss as much as possible.

AION 2 Assassin PvE Build Guide: Skills, Stigma, Macro, and DPS Rotation

Assassin PvE Core Mechanics

The burst buff of Aion 2 Assassin has a short duration, and the early Cooldown Speed is not high, so it is best to turn it on at a stage when the boss can stably output, to avoid wasting the duration because of the mechanism.

Positioning is equally important. Several abilities and Passive gain extra benefits from attacking from behind, while Shadowstrike, Infiltrate, and Flash Slice can help Assassin quickly reposition himself to keep boss uptime high.

Early Game Core Skills

Assassin's four main skills in the early stages of A2 are Quick Slice, Savage Roar, Insignia Explosion, and Heart Gore.

Quick Slice is a three-stage attack without Cooldown that restores MP. Early Game can select HP Absorb damage-related Specialty, which will later also assume the role of Animation Cancel and reduce Insignia Explosion Cooldown.

Savage Roar is also a three-stage attack, but consumes MP. It is recommended to choose -20% MP Consumption and +20% Skill Speed. To put it simply, Quick Slice is responsible for returning MP, and Savage Roar is responsible for consuming MP. The two constitute the main continuous output in the early stages.

Insignia Explosion increases damage based on the number of Insignia stacks on the target, up to 5 stacks utilized. Early Game: You can choose to keep 2 layers of Insignia's Specialty after the explosion to shorten the next round of stacking time.

Heart Gore requires a Critical Hit before it can be used. The early Cooldown is long, and HP Absorb and Multi-hit are recommended; it will only become a high-frequency output skill after entering Mid Game and unlocking the key Specialty.

Ambush, Whirlwind Slice have lower priority for regular PvE. Storm Rampage is mainly used in Boss Stagger stage, and after mid-term upgrade, it can also be used to reduce Cooldown of other skills.

When resources are limited in Early Game, you can prioritize investing AION 2 Kinah and other upgrade resources into Quick Slice, Savage Roar, Insignia Explosion, and Heart Gore to avoid consuming too many resources prematurely on low-priority skills.

Mobility and Back Attack

Aion 2's Shadowstrike and Infiltrate both allow Assassin to quickly move behind the boss. Infiltrate recommends adding a 10-meter range, and Shadowstrike can choose to gain 20% Crit Damage and a Specialty lasting 10 seconds after use. Both can be upgraded to Level 8 first.

Flash Slice can be used as an additional means of displacement; Defiance is responsible for removing Control Effect, and can also restore 20% HP after Level 8.

Early Game Stigma and Passive

In the early stage of A2, Stigma mainly used Illusive Clone, Swift Contract and Triniel's Dagger.

Illusive Clone can remove Heart Gore's Cooldown and is Assassin's core Burst Buff; Swift Contract provides 20% Combat Speed and is usually turned on at the same time as Illusive Clone.

Passive prioritizes Exploit Weakness and Rear Smite. The former provides Crit, extra attack, and Insignia related effects, while the latter enhances PvE Damage and Back Attack Damage.

AION 2 Stigma Build

Early Game Macro

In the early stage, Macro can be used: Insignia Explosion → Heart Gore → Savage Roar

In Aion 2 actual combat, hold down Macro Key and manually intersperse Quick Slice to restore MP and perform Animation Cancel. The current version has adjusted Skill Cancel Timing of some Assassin skills, so skills such as Savage Roar and Heart Gore need to readjust to the cancellation rhythm.

Movement Skill and Burst Buff are recommended to continue manual control to avoid losing control of position or burst timing due to Macro.

Key Points for Upgrading

The most important node in Mid Game is Heart Gore Level 16. The related Specialty allows Heart Gore to reset its own Cooldown after dealing a Critical Hit, so the value of Crit Chance is significantly increased.

Quick Slice Level 16 is also important, not only to get a more stable Crit effect but also to reduce Insignia Explosion Cooldown. Insignia Explosion itself reduces Cooldown from 10 seconds to 7 seconds.

After entering Mid Game, skill enhancements, equipment adjustments, and other development items will continue to consume AION 2 Kinah, so it is best to complete the core upgrades around Heart Gore, Quick Slice, and Insignia Explosion first.

Flash Slice can be upgraded to Level 12 for a second chance at use. After Storm Rampage Level 16, each hit can reduce Cooldown of other skills, which is more suitable for use when Boss Stagger and the core buff is on Cooldown.

Mid Game Stigma and Passive

Add Savage Fang mid-game, which quickly provides 5 stacks of Insignia.

Stigma's recommended upgrade order: Triniel's Dagger Lv.10 → Illusive Clone Lv.20 → Swift Contract → Savage Fang

Triniel's Dagger Lv.10 can reduce the current skill Cooldown; Illusive Clone Lv.20 will extend Burst Window, so it has a high priority.

Mid Game Passive mainly focuses on Exploit Weakness, Rear Smite, Assault Stance and Impact Hit, continuing to strengthen Crit, Back Attack, Critical Damage and Double Hit respectively.

If AION 2 Kinah and training resources are temporarily insufficient, you can complete these core Passive and Stigma first, and then consider completing skills that have less impact on the current PvE Rotation.

Mid Game Macro and Rotation

After entering Mid Game, just add Savage Fang to the front of the original Macro: Savage Fang → Insignia Explosion → Heart Gore → Savage Roar

For a complete start, you can follow: Illusive Clone + Swift Contract → Shadowstrike → Triniel's Dagger → Macro

Start by activating the two Burst Buffs, then use Shadowstrike to move behind the boss and get Crit Damage, then use Triniel's Dagger to lower Cooldown, then enter Macro.

After that, I mainly maintained the back position through Shadowstrike, Infiltrate and Flash Slice, and continued to manually intersperse Quick Slice.

When Aion 2 boss enters Stagger and Illusive Clone and Swift Contract are in Cooldown, you can use high-level Storm Rampage to speed up recovery.

Finally, you can turn on Boss Orientation Indicator in settings and set the direction to Back. This makes it easier to judge the position of the boss's back after turning or moving, which is very helpful for maintaining Back Attack.
