Today we'll talk about some cool weapon attachments in ARC Raider that can't be crafted, such as Kinetic Converter, Horizontal Grip, Silencer 3, and Anvil Splitter. Currently, they cannot be crafted, and may never be.
Therefore, these items are among the rarest in ARC Raider, meaning you'd better stockpile some for future use, equipping them on your weapons only when you need them to fight other ARCs or other Raiders. Let's take a look at some information about these rare attachments in ARC Raider.
Rarity Ranking
Based on drop rate and difficulty of scavenging, the rarity is ranked as follows:
Silencer 3 is the rarest, extremely difficult to find. Kinetic Converter, Horizontal Grip, and Anvil Splitter are relatively common, with similar drop rates. Because of the nerf to Rocketeer, Anvil Splitter's usefulness has decreased, and some players will simply give it to others.
So, are there specific drop routes or locations for these rare attachments? Most maps have some good spots where these accessories drop, with a higher drop rate. Let's take a look.
From Buried City Map
We'll start with Buried City Map. There are indeed some areas with a higher drop rate than usual, but it seems that most containers that generate accessories can drop them. So, if you open a container and there's an accessory inside, it might also contain a Kinetic Converter. However, we're still testing this theory. We need to try a few more times. Perhaps only specific containers will drop Kinetic Converters.
Specific results still need extensive testing to be determined, but for now, I can say with certainty that some buildings have a very high probability of dropping these items. First is ARC Tower, where you're more likely to get Kinetic Converters, Horizontal Grips, Anvil Splitter, and a large number of other rare items.
Next is Plaza Rosa, which has many residential containers, meaning you have a higher chance of getting these accessories every time you raid. Many people have reported finding accessories here.
Many players say the item drop rate in Spaceport is also high. There are many containers there, and if you get a zipline or a snap hook, climb onto the roof, and then go down the stairs, there are several lockers there where you might find high-level attachments.
Of course, it's worth noting that you won't get them every time; these are still random drops. This won't happen often, but if you do many raids, you'll gradually accumulate these attachments over time.
From Dam Battlegrounds Map
Next, let's look at Dam Battlegrounds Map, which I think is the most interesting map. The developers recently added some new containers in Control Tower, and now they also have a chance to drop attachments, which is really exciting. Many players have gotten the items they wanted here.
But this isn't the only place where attachments drop. These ARC Raider attachments also spawn in the outer areas. You can climb to the top of Control Tower and then jump down the ladder to reach them; these outer areas also have a high chance of dropping these attachments.
Meanwhile, interestingly, if you raid Control Tower during the day, it will spawn two Tier 3 weapons. Sometimes they'll spawn outside Tower Key Room, so even without a key, you can climb onto the platform and potentially get one or even two Tier 3 weapons. However, most of the time they'll spawn inside the room, so keep that in mind.
Another great loot spot on Dam Battlegrounds Map is Dam Staff Room, but in my experience, the daytime drop rate isn't ideal. I personally recommend raiding at night; with luck, you might even get a Tier 3 weapon that you rarely see otherwise.
If you're looking for a keyless room on Dam Battlegrounds Map, Hydroponic Dome is a good option. I recommend searching its west side, where there are many destroyed containers, a great place to find attachments.
From Blue Gate Map
There might also be some spawn points on Blue Gate Map, such as Maintenance Wing or Ruined Homestead. We're still testing these. If you have experience reading this guide, feel free to share it with other players in the community.
From Scrappy
Besides, don't forget your Scrappy. It can also help you get Kinetic Converter, Horizontal Grip, Silencer 3, and Anvil Splitter, though the drop rate is very low. You'd better feed your Scrappy Agave, as I haven't seen any evidence that it comes from other foods; currently, these rare items only drop from Agave.
Drop Rate
Some players are curious about the drop rates during daytime raids, nighttime raids, and storms or other severe weather conditions.
I personally don't know if the drop rate is higher during nighttime raids or storms. While theoretically it should be higher, testing it is extremely difficult. And I haven't seen any evidence that the drop rate is higher during nighttime raids or storms. Figuring this out would require scavenging the same container thousands of times in these weather conditions.
So perhaps we could do a community experiment to study this. The data would certainly be much easier to obtain, but in my experience, these items are more commonly found during the day. So don't be afraid to try during the day. Many players have found the items they want during the day; it's just a matter of probability.
This concludes the article about ARC Raider weapon attachments. Hopefully, it will help you obtain these rare items more easily. If you have better methods, please share them.
