ARC Raiders Expedition 2 Reset Build Guide: Best 86-Point Skill Tree for Fast Loot & Survival

ARC Raiders Expedition 2 has finally begun, which means all your items and previous skill trees will be cleared. This guide will guide you on how to maximize your existing skill points and gain powerful looting and survivability capabilities in the new round of Expedition.

Mar 03, 2026 Author: EZG

ARC Raiders Expedition 2 has started on March 1st. Has your character been reset? Whether you are a veteran player who has invested hundreds of hours, or a returning player returning to Rust Belt, resetting requires rebuilding Skill tree and starting exciting looting competitions.

If you have completed two Expeditions, you should now have an additional 11 Expedition Skill Points, plus daily upgrade skill points, for up to 86 skill points to use. How you distribute those initial points will determine how quickly you get back on your feet.ARC Raiders Expedition Reset Build Guide: Best 76-Point Skill Tree for Fast Loot & Survival

This guide will break down one of the most efficient and balanced Skill Tree Builds in the current version.

Mobility

First of all, the first thing we invest points in is Mobility, which will determine most of our performance in the game. The points required to invest are as follows:

  • Nimble Climber +5
  • Marathon Runner +5
  • Youthful Lungs +5
  • Carry the Momentum +1
  • Effortless Roll +5
  • Crawl Before You Walk +1
  • Vigorous Vault +1

The initial strategy after the reset is simple: speed is an advantage. You need to search for supplies faster, move locations faster, and evacuate faster than other players.

Therefore, you can invest 3 points in Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs in the early stages. If you have extra points in the later stage, you can upgrade them to full level, so that you can move around the map more smoothly.

Endurance is also crucial. The map is vast, combat is unpredictable, and efficient looting requires constant movement. Increasing the upper limit of endurance and recovery speed allows you to shuttle between target points quickly and safely. Effortless Roll can greatly improve mobility and endurance efficiency in combat.

In PvE areas, efficient dodge is crucial. Vigorous Vaulter prevents the climbing speed from being reduced when fatigued. In a high-pressure fight or escape scenario, this could be the difference between life and death.

The skill points to avoid lightning are Slip and Slide, Sturdy Ankles, and Calming Stroll. These skills have long been proven to be of little use, so don't waste your precious skill points here.

Survival

After the initial investment in mobility skills, you can move onto Survival Skill tree. Here, your upgrade speed will be greatly increased, and the points required are as follows:

  • Agile Croucher +3
  • Looter's Instinct +5
  • Revitalizing Squat +3
  • In-Round Crafting +1
  • Silent Scavenger +3
  • Suffer in Silence +1
  • Broad Shoulders +5
  • Looter's Luck +5
  • Traveling Tinker +1
  • Stubborn Mule +5
  • Three Deep Breaths +1
  • One Raider's Scraps +1
  • Security Breach +1

Looter's Instinct is crucial. It discovers loot inside containers faster, reducing wait time when searching. Paired with increased mobility and stamina, this skill allows you to quickly clear loot areas and rotate positions efficiently.

In-Round Crafting is particularly important in the early stages of the game, especially after the team is destroyed when equipment is most scarce. Its ability to craft necessities on the ground improves survivability and reduces reliance on luck in evacuation.

Broad Shoulders can increase weight. Looter's Luck provides an additional chance of finding ARC Raiders items while looting. Traveling Tinker unlocks more wilderness crafting options. The stacking of these skills will allow you to search for more items, carry more items, and extract more resources, thus forming a virtuous cycle.

Stubborn Mule reduces the stamina penalty for carrying too much weight. This is very powerful in the current Expedition. Being able to move with a load ensures a safer evacuation and a greater profit.

Recent updates have significantly enhanced Security Lockers. They now offer richer loot, including weapons, coins, and blueprints. To unlock these lockers, you must click Security Breach.ARC Raiders Security Lockers

Unlocking Security Breach requires investing 36 points in Survival, so we can also click on One Raider's Scraps and Three Deep Breaths. Once Security Breach is unlocked, it will become one of the most profitable skills in the game. It allows you to continue to obtain high-value containers, which is very beneficial for quickly restoring the number of blueprints after a reset.

Conditioning

The points required for Conditioning are as follows:

  • Used to the Weight +5
  • Gentle Pressure +5
  • Proficient Pryer +5
  • Unburdened Roll +1
  • A Little Extra +1
  • Loaded Arms +1
  • Blast-Born +5
  • Fight or Flight +5

Proficient Pryer needs to be filled up, it can reduce the time required to break doors and boxes. Coupled with Looter's Instinct, the looting efficiency can be significantly improved.

Loaded Arms has direct synergy with Broad Shoulders and Stubborn Mule. Together, they create a set of equipment that can efficiently search for supplies while maintaining combat effectiveness.

Finally, it is recommended that you max out Blast-Born directly. It can effectively reduce the auditory interference caused by explosions. This is very practical in PvE because the explosion sound will cover up the auditory cues. Fight or Flight can improve your survivability at critical moments and is very useful before any occasion.

If you are mainly into multiplayer games or are keen on PvP, you can also invest in:

  • Downed But Determined+1
  • Turtle Crawl+1

These skills can increase mobility and team survivability when downed. However, for most players after Expedition 2 reset, prioritizing improving search efficiency will lead to faster long-term development.

Final Configuration

The final Skill tree build is as follows:

  • Survival: 35 Points
  • Mobility: 23 Points
  • Conditioning: 28 Points

This configuration mainly focuses on fast movement and high experience gain. During Expedition 2 period, speed, endurance, and load management determine whether you can become the best in the game.

As ARC Raiders environment evolves and balance updates arrive, this Skill tree build may need some adjustments. But for now, this should be one of the best builds in the game. Good luck with your Expedition!
