Anvil is one of the most powerful Hand Cannons in ARC Raiders. While its rate of fire is relatively slow, it boasts extremely high damage and powerful armor penetration, providing satisfying results in both PvE and PvP, making it highly sought after by players.
Despite its popularity, the drop rate of Anvil blueprint and the weapon itself remains very low, requiring players to go to great lengths to obtain it.

To build Anvil at any time, you first need to learn how to acquire its blueprint. Below, I will explain in detail how to obtain Anvil Blueprint in ARC Raiders.
How to obtain the blueprint?
Finding the blueprint requires patience and a well-planned raid strategy. Weapon blueprints will randomly appear in various corners of the raid area, making every container and every defeated enemy a potential treasure trove.
While Anvil Blueprints don't have a fixed spawn location, player feedback suggests the following two locations have a slightly higher drop rate:
Dam Battlegrounds: Highway Gap
The first is below the highway in Dam Battlegrounds. This is a very hidden location, specifically between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge.
You can use the zipline or Snap Hook to reach the gap. Raider containers frequently spawn there, and with luck, you might find an Anvil Blueprint on your first try.
You'll also encounter many containers to loot along the way; don't miss them. Even without a blueprint, you might find a decent weapon.
Buried City: Marano Station
The second location is Marano Station on Buried City map. This is a relatively secluded spot that usually contains several high-rarity loot containers, with a high probability of finding an Anvil Blueprint.
However, be aware that most containers are hidden inside doors that need to be broken down, which will create considerable noise when you break through, especially in such a secluded environment.
Therefore, be vigilant about your surroundings when looting to avoid being attacked by other raiders.
Spaceport: Raider Cache
Another location is Raider Cache between Water Tower and Arrival Building on Spaceport map. These chests contain high-quality loot, and with luck, you might even find Anvil Blueprints.
When you reach the area between these two buildings, you'll hear the distinctive ticking sound of the chests. Approach carefully and quickly to loot, being mindful of your safety.
These are some of the more likely locations for Anvil Blueprints to spawn in ARC Raiders. In addition, keep an eye out for containers that yield high-quality loot during raids, as they may spawn blueprints.
Alternatively, you can also directly buy ARC Raiders Anvil Blueprint at EZG, saving you a lot of trouble. This site provides everything you need in the game, including other rare blueprints.
Farming strategies
Besides knowing the blueprint spawn locations, you also need to learn six techniques to increase your chances of obtaining blueprints;
- Night Raids and Electromagnetic Storms: It's well known that the probability of finding blueprints increases in these two situations;
- Repeated Looting: Since blueprint drops are random, repeatedly farming the same map and the same area will increase your success rate over time.
Crafting Anvil
Once you successfully obtain Anvil Blueprint, you can start learning how to craft it. Here are the materials needed to craft Anvil:
- 5 Mechanical Components
- 6 Simple Gun Parts
Its crafting materials are easier to obtain than other rare weapons.
You can look for areas marked with a gear symbol on the map; these places have a high probability of yielding Mechanical Components. Alternatively, you can defeat ARC enemies like Bastions and Leapers; Mechanical Components can also be found in their wreckage.
Simple Gun Parts can be obtained by recycling discarded or unusable weapons, or by defeating small ARC enemies such as Wasps, Hornets, and Turrets. These enemies also have a chance to drop Simple Gun Parts.
Once you have all the necessary materials, you can craft Anvil in Gunsmith 1 at any time.
Upgrades
After crafting Anvil I, consider upgrading it in a higher-level Gunsmith to improve handling, rate of fire, and durability. Here is his upgrade path:
- Anvil II: 3 Mechanical Components, 1 Simple Gun Part
- Anvil III: 4 Mechanical Components, 1 Heavy Gun Part
- Anvil IV: 4 Mechanical Components, 1 Heavy Gun Part
Most of the materials are the same as those needed for crafting; the only difference is Heavy Gun Part. Here are some of the best locations to find Heavy Gun Parts:
- Launch Tower in Spaceport
- Lobby in Stella Montis
- Control Tower in Dam Battlegrounds
- Security Lockers (Any Map)
The upgraded and optimized Anvil not only counters large, heavily armored ARC enemies but also gains significant burst damage, giving you an advantage against both large and small raiders.
Anvil Blueprints are relatively rare; it's normal not to find one in one or two raids. Don't be discouraged. Be patient, utilize the unique map environment, and search repeatedly; you will definitely find it.
Dear raiders, I wish you success in finding it on your first try!
