ARC Raiders Patch 1.12.0 Only Fixes Bugs | Players Desperately Need New Content!

ARC Raiders patch 1.12.0 was released on January 20th, but it wasn't the major update players were eagerly anticipating. The official update only fixed some bugs in the game, including item duplication and map boundary crossing vulnerabilities.

Jan 23, 2026 Author: EZG

ARC Raiders' official team acted quickly; shortly after patch 1.11.0, they released patch 1.12.0 on January 20th. While the patch size wasn't large, it addressed several issues players had been complaining about.

This update focused on fixing a series of problems and optimizing the game experience, aiming to maintain competitive fairness and reduce the exploitation of bugs. Although this update didn't introduce any new large maps or content, it at least improved the game environment.

ARC Raiders Patch 1.12.0 Only Fixes Bugs | Players Desperately Need New Content!

Next, I will detail the specific content of this patch update, its impact on the game, and some issues the studio will continue to address.

Patch update content

The most important content of this 1.12 patch is the fixing of a series of bugs and the introduction of Store rotation feature.

Item and ammo duplication bug

Some players exploited a bug to continuously duplicate items and ammo, which was one of the main reasons for disrupting the game's competitive balance.

This allowed cheaters to gain an unfair advantage in resource-limited dungeons, as they could acquire powerful equipment or rare items almost infinitely. This was utterly shameless for players who relied on legitimate raids to acquire loot.

The official 1.12.0 patch completely fixed these exploits, ensuring that every player must legally collect and manage resources.

The goal is to promote fairer PvP and PvEvP battles and reduce unnecessary economic inflation caused by exploits during loot and item upgrades.

"Behind the Wall" damage explosion

Previously, many players reported on social media that some enemy players could damage them through walls or geometry, possibly due to game glitches or cheats.

Regardless, being inexplicably defeated by unseen players is incredibly frustrating and ruins a player's entire day.

This patch fixes this issue on multiple maps and ensures fair combat within players' line of sight. It completely eliminates kills and frustration caused by unfair line of sight, forcing players to fight only within their field of vision.

Boundary glitch on Stella Montis Map

One of the most criticized issues in FARC Raiders was the ability for players to leave the game area and attack enemies from outside the boundaries on PvP-heavy Stella Montis map.

This glitch made combat extremely unfair and was a long-standing point of contention within the community. Now, this problem has finally been resolved. Patch 1.12.0 fixes several out-of-bounds locations and related geometric glitches on the map.

This fix improves the integrity of the Stella Montis map and enhances the fairness of competitive matches. Players will no longer be able to exploit this glitch to appear next to you and kill you.

Store Rotation feature launched

In addition to fixing the glitch, this update also introduces a new store rotation system, refreshing ARC Raiders items that players can redeem or unlock in the in-game store, including Fiero Outfit Set.

This change doesn't directly affect game mechanics, but one of Arc Raiders' online service models involves rotating cosmetic and equipment items, and these new store items will keep the player experience fresh.

Issues remaining after patch update

While the studio has made some progress on game content, some issues still exist.

Although the patch fixed many bugs on Stella Montis map, some players have reported that they can still find ways to leave the game area on other maps (such as Spaceport).

This indicates that bug fixing for Arc Raiders is still ongoing, and the boundary crossing issue has not been completely resolved.

Besides bugs, players will still encounter issues unrelated to this patch, such as occasional crashes, map boundary crossings on other maps, or interface anomalies. This shows that game stability remains the official priority.

Future update plans

Arc Raiders has a long road ahead. There haven't been any major updates in January 2026, and players have been eagerly awaiting new content.

However, based on the developers' responses and roadmap, we can still have high hopes.

New map

As we predicted before, Arc Raiders will indeed be getting a volcano-themed map in the future. The developers stated they are currently working hard on the map and believe it will be released soon.

ARC enemies

In addition to the map, new ARC enemies are also expected to be introduced to the game; after all, a new map requires new challenges and guardians.

Furthermore, the development team will also modify some existing ARC enemies, creating variants that will make them more difficult to deal with.

Skill tree

The skill tree system may also receive an update, as players have consistently reported that some skill nodes in the game are essentially wasted and rarely used.

Perhaps these neglected skill nodes will be enhanced or modified in future updates, or they might be removed altogether.

In any case, the developers have consistently stated they will be developing new content, and players' initial excitement has turned into indifference; they don't want to hear empty promises and just want a genuine content update.

While ARC Raiders 1.12.0 patch wasn't the completely new change players were eagerly anticipating, it at least fixed some annoying bugs and maintained some semblance of peace in the game.

Making only small changes isn't sustainable. Let's hope the studio can deliver a truly groundbreaking update next time.
