Arc Raiders Patch 1.29.0 introduces a new merchant. Trade Queen Reactors for permanent Stash Expansions. Farm Queen by breaking legs with Ferro and Brillata, avoid PvP, extract fast with Raider Hatch Key. Low risk, huge storage gains. This guide summarizes the free stash trick.

Arc Raiders introduced a brand-new merchant system in Patch 1.29.0, a change that fundamentally restructures the long-term progression path for players.

The new merchant no longer relies solely on combat rank or currency accumulation. Instead, specific high-value components are the new currency for unlocking permanent Stash Expansions, Expedition Vault slots, and rare BluePrints.

Among these, Queen Reactor, as the most efficient medium of exchange, has become a key resource for quickly leveling up a merchant. Addressing the conflict between equipment costs and risk control faced by many players, a farming strategy centered on low investment and high tolerance for error has been validated. This Insane Arc Raiders Patch 1.29.0 Trick Gives You Free Stash Slots in Minutes

Queen Reactor

In the new merchant trading interface of Patch 1.29.0, the payment weight for different components varies significantly. A single Queen Reactor has a payment value of approximately 11k, a similar value for Matriarch Reactor, while even a set of three Bastion Reactors only yields 9k.

This means that to complete the same 200k total payment required for a Stash Expansion, only 18 to 19 slots are needed with Queen Reactor, while over 66 are needed with Bastion Reactor.

From the perspectives of time investment and inventory space usage, Arc Raiders Queen Reactor is the most efficient choice.

The first useful upgrade offered by the new merchant is Stash Expansion, which adds 12 slots each time, allowing for multiple completions. This directly alleviates the most prominent storage pressure in the early game.

Following this is Expedition Vault feature, which, after upgrading, allows players to carry up to five Blueprints or items into the next expedition with a complete reset.

For players who need to repeatedly farm cores, Expedition Vault slots can retain key weapons or shields, significantly reducing the reset cost of subsequent map runs.

Therefore, it is recommended to prioritize using Queen Reactor for Stash Expansion, and then switch to unlocking Expedition Vault feature once sufficient storage capacity is available.

Equipment Configuration

The following is some equipment configuration required to implement this guide.

Weapon Selection

The primary weapon is Ferro, which deals effective damage to Queen's legs without any attachments. Ammo consumption should be kept between 100 and 120 rounds.

The secondary weapon is Brillata 1. Upgrading this weapon is not recommended, as it only increases reload speed without increasing damage.

Its primary role is to counter ambushes from other players, especially when they attempt to steal Queen's loot. It is recommended to equip Brillata with an Extended Light Mag Level 2 to improve sustained firepower. Prepare approximately 200 ammo rounds.

Other Item Configuration

For protection, prepare one Green Shield and five spare Shields, as some of Queen's attacks will directly shatter Shield, necessitating frequent replacements.

Medical items include two to three Bandages and two to three Herbal Bandages, sufficient to handle non-lethal damage. The three Adrenaline Shots are for quickly reaching Queen's spawn point to secure key loot.

In addition, Raider Hatch Key is an essential extraction tool, ensuring a quick escape from the battlefield after acquiring the core, avoiding being ambushed by other players.

Risk Mitigation

This setup has an extremely low total cost. Both Ferro and Brillata are basic models, and Ammo and healing item consumption are manageable. The basic tactical principles are:

Do not actively seek player-versus-player combat; use Brillata only to deter attackers trying to steal loot.

Do not be greedy for extra loot; once you have acquired a sufficient number of Arc Raiders Queen Reactors, immediately extract.

Maintain movement and slide to avoid being hit by Queen's high-damage attacks.

This gear setup has been proven to be highly forgiving in practice; even if knocked down multiple times, the losses are negligible because of the lack of high-value equipment.

Efficient Item Farming Tactics

Upon entering the battlefield, immediately determine Queen's spawn location. Ideally, your starting spawn point should be close to Queen's spawn point, allowing you to enter combat positions before other players.

Upon arrival, don't linger at a distance; instead, actively approach Queen, maintaining a distance where you can easily pick up any dropped items.

Many players are too conservative, staying at a distance to attack, resulting in others grabbing the core first after Queen's leg breaks.

Concentrate your firepower on the same leg of Queen until it breaks and falls off. Aim at one leg and fire continuously, continuing to attack once you see a clear damage effect, until the leg breaks. Each broken leg will drop a core.

Don't pick it up immediately after breaking it; wait a short while to see if other players rush in to steal it. Once it's safe, quickly pick it up. After completing one pickup, immediately move on to the other leg and repeat the process.

This cycle doesn't rely on high damage output; it only requires consistent, stable shooting and timely pickups.

Many players on the battlefield use Free Loadout or other low-level setups. Their strategy is usually to lurk near Queen, waiting for a leg to break before swarming in to grab the core. In such situations, Brillata 1's power is sufficient to repel most ambushers.

In actual firefights, do not actively pursue. Instead, remain vigilant while looting cores. Upon hearing approaching footsteps or seeing someone charging, immediately switch to Brillata for short bursts of fire.

Most ambushers carry very low-protection gear; Brillata's damage can quickly knock them down or drive them away. If surrounded by multiple attackers, prioritize your own survival. Abandon your current core, withdraw from the combat area, and return only after the situation has calmed down.

Once you have collected a sufficient number of Arc Raiders Queen Reactors, immediately use Raider Hatch Key to evacuate. Do not linger at the edge of the battlefield, and do not attempt to kill other enemies or loot additional chests.

Every second you linger increases the risk of being ambushed by other players. Practical experience shows that after three to four leg breaches, you will usually have three to four Queen Reactors in your inventory. Combined with other drops, the rewards from a single run are sufficient for a new trader's upgrade needs.

A decisive withdrawal and return to base to complete the trade is the most efficient cycle.

The new trader system introduced in Arc Raiders Patch 1.29.0 positions Queen Reactor as the most efficient upgrade resource. The key is to strictly adhere to withdrawal discipline, avoid being greedy for extra loot, and always maintain a low-risk, high-turnover farming rhythm.
