In ARC Raiders, every raid is deadly, whether it's an encounter or an environmental trap, potentially draining a character's entire health in an instant.
As a rare healing item, Vita Shot restores a significant amount of health after a short delay, making it a crucial consumable in high-risk areas. Therefore, obtaining Vita Shot BluePrints is key to stable self-production.
Having understood the importance of BluePrints and the challenges of high-risk environments, this guide details three main acquisition methods and provides map selection and strategy suggestions to help players choose the best route based on their equipment and resources.
Acquisition Methods
In ARC Raiders Patch 1.30.1, there are three independent ways to obtain Vita Shot BluePrints. Players can flexibly combine these methods based on their equipment and time constraints to achieve maximum efficiency.
Container Search
Medical Containers are the most basic source, including white or blue drawer chests, red lockers, shelves, and electrical panels that can be opened after breaking down doors. In normal map conditions, the drop rate is low, but the quantity is abundant and there is no combat risk.
During Night Raids or Electromagnetic Storms, the quality of container drops is significantly improved. Focusing on searching high-density container areas can increase efficiency several times over.
Enemy Hunting
To improve the stability of blueprint production, players can also hunt specific enemies. Surveyor unit is a relatively stable source. This spherical robot will retract its armor and expose its core when firing a blue laser and conducting orbital communication.
Players can use Showstopper or Hornet Driver to stun it, then attack the core with Heavy Ammo. When not communicating, Surveyor will retreat at high speed, so attack when the core is exposed during laser firing. Mastering the timing can significantly improve the stability of blueprint production.
Trader Trading
If you want to reduce risk or save time farming, trade with vendors provides a stable way to obtain BluePrints. Since Patch 1.31.0, Speranza base vendor can directly sell ARC Raiders Vita Shot BluePrint for 250,000 low-tier ARC parts.
For late-game players with ample resources, this route saves time spent repeatedly farming maps. Merchant inventory refreshes periodically; prioritize acquiring BluePrints when found.
Recommended Locations
The density of Medical Containers and Surveyor spawn points varies across different maps. The two most efficient locations tested are as follows:
Dam Testing Annex
Located in the southeast corner of Dam Battlegrounds map, Testing Annex building has a densely packed circular corridor on the first floor with medical drawers. There are two locked rooms in the basement that require a key to open.
High-value containers include lockers and electrical panels. BluePrints have a higher spawn rate than in normal areas. Before entering, it's recommended to clear patrolling Fireballs and Popps, and use silenced weapons to avoid attracting enemies.
Hospital (Buried City Map)
Hospital building on Buried City map is of higher danger level, containing active turrets and Fireballs, but also many medical drawers. A Surveyor is permanently stationed in the area, usually firing lasers in the first-floor corridor or near the second-floor operating room.
In Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm conditions, this area often becomes a hotspot for multiple players. It's recommended to quickly loot and retreat, or use the terrain to ambush other teams and claim the loot for yourself.
Efficient Looting Strategies
Once you understand the acquisition methods and optimal locations, using strategies effectively can further improve efficiency.
Utilizing Map Conditions
Prioritize Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm conditions. This not only improves the quality of container drops but also extends Surveyor core's exposure time. Investing a lot of time in normal daytime maps is significantly less efficient.
Surveyor Killing Techniques
Carry at least two Showstoppers or Hornet Drivers and use Heavy Ammo. Observe whether Surveyor is firing lasers. When the core is exposed and stationary, throw the control item to stun it, then focus fire on the core.
Armor plates can be picked up as materials. The core drops BluePrints after being destroyed. If Surveyor is not killed, it will retreat at high speed; there's no need to chase it. Continue searching containers and wait for it to relocate.
Accumulating Low-Tier Parts
Players choosing to exchange with merchants can quickly accumulate low-tier ARC parts by dismantling white-quality weapons and armor. In Night Raids, prioritize picking up low-value items and returning them to the warehouse for dismantling; typically, five to ten runs will be enough to collect the required 250,000 parts.
There is no absolutely optimal way to obtain ARC Raiders Vita Shot BluePrints. Early to mid-game players can prioritize using Night Raid conditions to search containers and hunt Surveyors, while late-game players with sufficient resources can reliably obtain them through merchant exchanges.
Crafting Requirements
After obtaining a Vita Shot BluePrint, you need to craft a Vita Shot at Level 3 Medical Lab facility in Speranza Base. Each Vita Shot requires 2 Antiseptics and 1 Syringe.
Antiseptics are frequently obtained from Medical Containers, while Syringes are commonly found in First Aid Kits and White Drawer Cabinets.
It is recommended to prioritize collecting these consumables in Night Raids and also check if merchants sell them directly. Once BluePrints are unlocked, mass production is possible when materials are plentiful, significantly reducing the risk of supply shortages during combat.
By flexibly combining these three methods based on your equipment and resource situation, you can collect Vita Shot BluePrints in high-risk areas with minimal cost and high efficiency.
