Another week has arrived, and Weekly Trials in ARC Raiders have been updated. A new wave of challenges is now available in Week 23, running from April 6th to April 13th. Compared to previous weekly trials, this week's will be slightly more difficult.
Therefore, you may really need the detailed guide to this week's trials provided by EZG.com to help you survive and achieve a three-star rating. It's worth noting that the team evaluation criteria for Weekly Trials have changed since Flashpoint update, so you might need to pay special attention.
Week 23 Trials List
This week, you need to complete the following trials:
- Damage ARC enemies in Old Town of Buried City
- Demolish Mines after Locked Gate condition is activated
- Search Raider Caches
- Damage to Wasps
- Damage to Vaporizers
The following are the specific methods for completing these trials.
Trial 1
This first trial has the most prerequisites of all the challenges this week, but that doesn't mean it's difficult: you need to enter Buried City map and deal damage to Arc robot enemies in Old Town, rather than simply killing them.
Since you only need to inflict damage on them, you can easily create some noise in the area to attract these Arc enemies, then shoot them and immediately run away or retreat. However, be careful to avoid the location where the new added Vaporizer, as it will not allow you to escape easily.
Trial 2
This mine-clearing trial previously appeared in Shrouded Sky update, so many players are familiar with it: You need to enter Blue Gate while Locked Gate Major Map Condition is active and clear the mines. If your goal is to complete the trial, be sure to stay on the topside after entering the assault and avoid entering the traffic tunnels.
On the one hand, the mine spawn rate in this tunnel is not very high, which prevents you from progressing through the trial as quickly as possible; on the other hand, the real players and Arc enemies present here will pose a great threat to you when you are unarmed, because this looting point does not allow you to take effective cover.
After defusing 14 hidden mines, you'll earn a three-star rating for this trial. By the way, when defusing them, be sure to control your positioning and distance from the mines; ensure you can interact with them but don't detonate them. It might be a little difficult at first, but it will get better after a few tries.
Trial 3
Searching for Raider Caches should be the easiest of this week's trials, as these loot chests appear everywhere except on Stella Montis map, so it's not difficult. Most importantly, these scavenge little metal boxes will hum in quiet moments, making it very easy to pinpoint their location. Like demolishing mines, you need to search a certain number of boxes to earn a three-star rating.
Trial 4
In previous weekly trials, small flying Arc enemies like ticks and pops appeared many times. This trial requires you to damage Wasps, which are slightly stronger than both of them. This process will be a little difficult, but not too difficult, as long as you equip the appropriate Arc Raiders Items and aim at its weak points.
Since Wasps are designed to appear in groups of flying enemies, it is highly recommended that you carry weapons that can deal powerful long-range damage, as well as grenades or hand grenades that can be used for crowd control or damage when necessary. Once you're ready, you can enter any map to search for Wasps' trail.
During raids, it's recommended to maintain a low profile and snipe Wasps from a safe distance at a higher vantage point, as these types of enemies have difficulty tracking enemies at the same or higher altitude. If your goal is simply to achieve the damage required for the trial, you can stop here; however, if you're after the rich loot from its kill, focus your fire on its blades, its most important weakness.
Trial 5
The final trial this week will require you to damage Vaporizers, which only appear in Close Scrutiny Major Map Condition, they are new enemies added in ARC Raiders Flashpoint update and are described in the lore as flying tanks that guard Assessors.
Although you are still only required to damage this boss, the difficulty increases dramatically because Vaporizers have heavy armor and powerful laser attacks that can quickly kill any raider in the arena, whether they have no loadout or have used a free loadout.
Therefore, to avoid taking excessive damage, you need to find cover as much as possible, and use cover to your advantage, firing continuously and intensely from places where Vaporizer cannot detect you. Here, we recommend using heavy weapons and targeting its weak points with propulsors for suppressive fire.
The above details the trials in ARC Raiders Week 23, including walkthroughs and more. While this week's trials are more challenging than previous ones, especially with the introduction of the new team evaluation criteria following Flashpoint update, they are not entirely impossible.
Overall, although the new update adds considerable challenge, it also provides players with greater rewards and a stronger sense of accomplishment. For players who enjoy high-difficulty content, it's still worth investing time in.
