In Splintering Damage system, Thorns damage doesn't disappear immediately after dealing counterattack damage. Instead, it leaves behind splinters after each trigger, continuously dealing damage to enemies.

Another advantage of Splintering Damage is that it grants Thorns stronger battlefield control capabilities.

The more Thorns stacked, the better the control effect on enemies. It not only slows down enemy movement speed but also reduces their attack speed, creating more offensive opportunities for the player.

For Thorns-focused builds, Thorns will no longer be a passive defensive mechanism but rather a complete playstyle.

3. Expanding Damage Range

One of the biggest challenges facing Thorns build is its difficulty in efficiently clearing large groups of monsters.Splintering Damage addresses this by allowing Thorns effects to spread.
