Diablo 4 Season 14 War Plans: Players Are Already Figuring Out the Strongest Endgame Paths

Diablo 4 Season 14 introduces a new War Plans endgame system dramatically increasing rewards through optimized node combinations. Players can fine-tune different path to maximize loot, experience, and crafting resources for faster character progression.

Jun 15, 2026 Author: EZG

With Diablo 4 Season 14 fast approaching, more and more players are delving into the new War Plans. Compared to simply increasing monster strength or reward quantity, the greatest value of War Plans lies in their ability to reshape the endgame's reward structure, allowing players to achieve returns far exceeding ordinary farming efficiency through different node combinations.

After extensive testing and practical verification on PTR, the optimal routes for various War Plan trees have gradually become clear, with each route containing highly valuable core nodes.

Diablo 4 Season 14 War Plans: Players Are Already Figuring Out the Strongest Endgame Paths

Properly planning your War Plan points can not only significantly improve the efficiency of acquiring equipment, materials, and runes, but also allow your character's growth speed to experience a qualitative leap. Below, EZG will provide a detailed analysis of the most worthwhile War Plan configurations for Diablo 4 Season 14.

Tree of Whispers

Tree of Whispers War Plan Setup can increase the overall enemy drop rate by three to four times, making it one of the most efficient resource acquisition methods in Diablo 4 Season 14. Combining this with targeted drop mechanisms in different areas will further enhance the overall rewards.

Corrupted Roots

Whisper Cache sometimes contains Corrupted Roots. Planting Corrupted Roots will cause them to grow Exposed Roots. These roots will attract nearby Diablo 4 enemies and have a chance to summon stronger enemies.

Roots of Power

Diablo 4 enemies attracted by Exposed Roots gain +1 Monster Power, thus improving the quality of monster drops.

Headrotten Feast

Headrotten Bosses attracted by Exposed Roots gain +1 Monster Power and are guaranteed to drop Whisper Caches.

Simple Gifts

The tree only offers Material Collection or a Collection of Chaos chests. Given the current overall environment of Diablo 4 Season 14, material collection is extremely valuable.

Both crafting and late-game gear creation require massive amounts of resources, so a stable supply of Material is often more valuable than obtaining a few random pieces of gear.

Material Wealth

The tree now only offers material collection. This node can further compress your Diablo 4 reward pool. If you prefer to obtain other specific rewards through Whispers, you can choose other routes.

Chaotic Favor

Completing Whispers has a small chance to obtain a Collection of Chaos.

Resplendent Favor

Each Whisper Cache has a chance to drop a Resplendent Spark.

Nightmare Dungeon

As one of the most important core nodes in Diablo 4 War Plan, Nightmare Dungeon's rewards can be increased several times over by selecting specific nodes like Gauntlet and Nemesis.

Gauntlet

Killing Diablo 4 enemies while under the buff of Shrine will trap their souls within you. When Shrine buff wears off, all trapped souls respawn around you as new enemies.

Fearless Conviction

Killing elite and champion monsters will stack Conviction on you. Conviction chests will reward you based on your faith. Note that you will lose one stack of Faith when attacked by Diablo 4 Elite monsters, so you need to avoid their attacks.

Nemesis

Activating Shrine will attract up to 7 Diablo 4 Elites to ambush you which can be converted into a stable source of drops.

Helltide

Helltide primarily revolves around experience gain. Through specific nodes, you can frequently trigger large numbers of Hellwyrms, making it one of the most efficient leveling methods in Diablo 4. In low-player environments, if your movement efficiency is high enough, this mechanism can even be the strongest source of experience in the entire game.

Hellmouth

When a Hellwyrm appears, it will release Chaos Rifts, Maggots, and Bloodseekers. Defeating them will grant you a large amount of Diablo 4 Items.

Writhe and Rot

Hellwyrms always spew out Maggots, which grant +1 Monster Power.

Bursting Brood

Maggots and Pangs of Duriel explode upon being killed, increasing your map clearing speed and boosting the drop rate of Boss Trophies.

Meat Brothers

Butchers will replace the regular Hellborne. Defeating these butchers has a high chance of dropping a Profane Mindcage. This item is crucial in Helltide, increasing threat levels and allowing you to farm more Hellwyrms.

Hated Foe

Ambush your highest-threat Diablo 4 enemy to gain +1 Monster Strength.

Tainted Shrines

When you kill a Diablo 4 enemy empowered by a shrine, your threat level progression is doubled.

The Undercity

The Undercity's core mechanic is the probability-based spawning of Portal Pranksters, which directly doubles your rewards. Subsequent paths can be chosen based on your needs, focusing on either material or experience growth. I recommend the right-hand path, which provides a more stable growth bonus.

Gutter Filth

Activating a Beacon in the dungeon has a slight chance to summon a portal prankster. Invasion Portals summon rats.

Idols of War

Ancestral Tributes of Armaments drop throughout Sanctuary. This Tribute has a higher drop rate for Ancestral items and offers additional Diablo 4 Bargain choices.

Initiative

Finding a District Boss grants you Initiative buff. Defeating a Diablo 4 District Boss while Initiative buff is active will grant Tribute rewards.

Lair Bosses

Diablo 4 Lair Bosses are more gear-focused. The left-hand nodes improve boss drop quality and increase the number of chests opened, while the middle route focuses on additional boss spawns, thus increasing the overall drop rate of rare Diablo 4 gear.

Lair of Runes

Lair Bosses grant +1 Monster Power and have a higher chance of dropping specific Runes.

Lair of Plenty

This node also grants Lair Bosses +1 Monster Power. Defeating them grants +1 Hoard Chest.

Two by Two

Activating a Hoard Chest has a slight chance of opening a portal to Nemesis Lair, where you'll challenge two Initiate Lair Bosses. Defeating these two D4 bosses will yield generous rewards.

Greater Nemesis

Completing Nemesis Lair has a chance to spawn a portal to Greater Nemesis Lair. Here you'll find two Greater Lair Bosses; defeating them will grant even greater rewards.

If your character is insufficient for Greater Lair Bosses, follow EZG Facebook. We'll be launching a limited-time Giveaway where lucky players will receive free Diablo 4 Items to help you complete your build faster and farm more easily.

Ultimate Nemesis

Defeating all bosses within Greater Nemesis Lair will open a portal to Ultimate Nemesis Lair. All enemies gain +5 Monster Power. Defeating the boss will grant you 10 Hoard Chests worth of Items.

War Plans have become one of the most important progression mechanics in Diablo 4 Season 14 endgame content, offering unprecedented rewards for every playstyle when combined correctly. War Plans are no longer just an extra reward system; they are the core element that truly determines your farming routes and resource acquisition speed.

Mastering these optimal routes will help you acquire gear, materials, and experience with maximum efficiency, quickly complete your character build, and tackle higher difficulty content.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Forgotten Souls Farming Guide: The Best Methods Players Are Using to Upgrade Perfect Gear Faster

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, many players encounter a similar problem: their character's equipment is complete, and they have enough gold, but they can't continue upgrading their endgame items because of a lack of Forgotten Souls.

Forgotten Souls are one of the most crucial crafting materials in the endgame stage, consumed significantly faster than regular materials, and the closer they get to the endgame, the more noticeable the consumption. Therefore, finding a stable and efficient way to farm Forgotten Souls in Season 14 has become an important goal for Diablo 4 players.

Next, EZG will introduce the most effective Forgotten Souls farming methods in Diablo 4 Season 14 to help you find the most suitable resource acquisition method for you.

Why are Forgotten Souls so important?

Forgotten Souls are mainly used for endgame equipment enhancement, including enchanting, Diablo 4 Items reforging, and high-level crafting. For Diablo 4 players striving for perfect gear, a piece of equipment with potential often requires continuous rolling for new affixes until the desired attributes are achieved.

Especially when pursuing Greater Affix gear and Masterworking enhancements, you'll typically need to consume a significant amount of Forgotten Souls for adjustments.

Salvage Unique and Mythic Items

In Season 14, disenchanting regular Legendary Items yields a limited number of Forgotten Souls, while Unique Items and Mythic Items are the primary sources.

According to EZG's testing, salvaging a regular Diablo 4 Unique Item yields approximately 7-8 Forgotten Souls, while Ancestral Unique Items offer even higher returns, providing around 15 Forgotten Souls.

Mythic Items are even more remarkable; salvaging a single Mythic item can provide a substantial amount of Forgotten Souls, potentially reaching 150-200. Therefore, during farming, you shouldn't just focus on the quantity of gear, but rather on the drops of high-quality gear.

Lair Boss Farming Strategy

Currently, Lair Boss Farming remains one of the most stable ways to obtain Forgotten Souls in Diablo 4. The key is to choose the reward nodes in War Plan wisely. Layer of Plenty allows you to obtain two extra Horadric Chests after defeating Lair Boss, increasing the yield of Unique and Mythic Items.

Andariel is a very popular target. Her advantage lies in her short spawn animation and simple combat flow. You can quickly defeat her, use Diablo 4 Lair Boss Keys to activate Horadric Chests, collect Unique and Mythic Items, and then return to town for Salvage, thus steadily accumulating many Forgotten Souls.

Kurast Undercity War Plan

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Kurast Undercity War Plan system is also an important route for obtaining Forgotten Souls. By choosing War Plan nodes wisely, you can significantly improve the efficiency of obtaining high-value gear.

Gutter Filth is a particularly noteworthy node in Undercity Farming. Activating this node allows Portal Pranksters to spawn during Undercity exploration. Defeating these special enemies grants additional Tribute Chest rewards.

These extra enemies also have a chance to drop Unique Items and even Mythic Items, which can be converted into a large amount of Forgotten Souls via salvage. For group players, Kurast Undercity progression is more efficient, further increasing the overall yield of Forgotten Souls.

Mercenary Resource Acquisition

Mercenary system in Diablo 4 Season 14 is an often overlooked additional source of Forgotten Souls. While it doesn't provide a large amount of high-value equipment at once like Lair Boss Farming, Mercenary Bartering can be a stable way to replenish Crafting Materials for players who regularly engage in endgame activities.

As your Mercenary Rapport level increases, you can obtain Pale Marks. These resources can be used for mercenary bartering and exchanged for different types of rewards, including Salvage Material Caches. Opening these caches gives you a chance to obtain Forgotten Souls, Veiled Crystals, and other crafting materials for enhancing Diablo 4 Items.

While the amount of Forgotten Souls obtained from a single Bartering run is usually less than that from Salvage gear acquired through Boss Farming, its advantage lies in not requiring additional Boss materials and not affecting your primary farming route.

Havza Helltide Farming Method

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Helltide remains a crucial source of crafting materials. If your primary goal is to collect Forgotten Souls, Havza Helltide area is currently the recommended farming location.

Completing Diablo 4 Whispers questline rewards you with Corrupted Roots, which can be further enhanced using War Plan nodes, converting ordinary Roots into higher-value Loot Explosions.

The combination of Roots of Power and Head Rotten Feast War Plan significantly increases Root rewards, giving you a chance to obtain Forgotten Souls when activating Corrupted Roots, while also replenishing scarce resources like Volatile Primordial Dust and Scroll of Restoration.

To maximize these benefits, you need to focus on increasing your Craft Material Drop Chance, prioritizing killing high-density Diablo 4 monster groups. The large amount of material obtained through continuous farming can be further converted into Forgotten Souls.

In Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, Forgotten Souls have become a core resource determining the speed of your gear progression. Establishing a complete Forgotten Souls farming cycle around boss farming, unique salvage, and War Plan rewards is crucial for continuously improving your character's strength in the later stages of Season 14 and achieving your final gear crafting.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Blizzard Shock Sorcerer Build: Underrated Sorcerer Setup With Huge Clearing Power

In Diablo 4 Season 14 Season of Death Awakening, Firewall Sorcerer build has long been a popular choice for Sorcerer class. However, this build suffers from poor mobility, leading to criticism from players.

Now, a player has shared a new and improved build in the community - Blizzard Shock Sorcerer Build. While not as popular, this build balances mobility and damage output, boasting strong map clearing capabilities and survivability, making it suitable for most players.

So, how does this build achieve this?

Damage Mechanics

In the past, Blizzard Shock Sorcerer Build suffered from insufficient survivability. However, in Diablo 4 Season 14, due to changes in many game mechanics, survivability is no longer a problem for this build.

The core mechanics of this build mainly consist of the following parts:

Skill Modifications

First, this build modifies Sorcerer's signature skill, Blizzard - players can choose Static Field as core upgrade branch of Blizzard in Skill Tree.

This decision fundamentally changed Blizzard's skill attributes: it was no longer a purely Frost skill, but was transformed into a new skill with an Electric attribute and a Stun effect.

The significance of this transformation is that it allows Blizzard to simultaneously benefit from both Frost and Lightning skills and related equipment affixes.

More importantly, Static Field changes Blizzard's damage type to DoT, meaning that the skill's damage no longer relies solely on critical strike chance and critical strike damage, but can also depend on DoTs, which enhances its power to some extent.

Increasing Damage

If players wish to further increase damage of this build, they can utilize Unstable Currents skill.

In Diablo 4 Season 14, when a player uses Unstable Currents, the skill automatically casts Charged Bolts, Lightning Spear, and Ball Lightning, and generates Crackling Energy.

If a player upgrades this skill to Unstable Currents, each time they pick up Crackling Energy, they gain a 10% lightning damage bonus, with no cap on this bonus.

This not only significantly increases attack damage but also effectively shortens the cooldown of Unstable Currents, making it almost permanent.

Charm, Equipment and Aspect

After equipping the skill, although this build already has considerable output capability, it can be further improved. Furthermore, this build has significant shortcomings in survivability and sustain.

At this point, players need to use Diablo 4 Uniques, Aspect, and Charm to enhance output and compensate for these shortcomings.

Charm

To maximize damage, a Charm Set is needed - Cain's Wild Lightning Set.

When Cain's Wild Lightning Set has two pieces, the player's lightning skill will randomly gain Wild Strikes effect, providing a damage bonus that fluctuates between 1% and 125%.

When the three-piece set is complete, Wild Strikes triggering its maximum damage bonus will also trigger an additional Lightning Bolt, dealing damage and stunning enemies.

Most importantly, when the player has five pieces, the maximum Wild Strikes damage bonus is increased to 750%, and the damage value is determined by two dice rolls, taking the higher value. If both rolls reach the maximum value, two Lightning Bolts will be triggered.

Therefore, if players have sufficient gold, they should definitely collect the five-piece set. If gold is insufficient, they can collect three-piece set first.

Another key charm is Orsivane. Its effect is that whenever the player's Action Bar has one less Defensive Skill, the player gains a damage bonus and also benefits from the corresponding Enchantment effect.

Therefore, players can remove defensive skills like Teleport and Frost Nova from their skill bar while still enjoying their passive bonuses, and utilize Teleport's enchantment effect for high-frequency movement.

Equipment

Regarding equipment, players should first use Unique Pants Temerity. Its effect is: healing received exceeding your maximum health is converted into a shield equal to a certain percentage of your maximum health, lasting for several seconds.

To continuously trigger this effect, players need to stack Life on Hit affix on their equipment and use Runewords to summon Spirit Wolves. These summons' attacks also trigger Life on Hit effect, continuously generating overhealing.

To address the mana consumption issue of this build at high attack speed, players also need to use Ring of Starless Skies.

Its effect is that consecutively casting Core Skills gradually reduces the skill's mana cost and increases its damage, stacking up to 50%. This greatly enhances the player's survivability.

Aspects

Players can use the following two aspects to increase their damage output:

First, Aspect of Elemental Constellation. Its effect is that when a player equips the same number of Frost, Fire, and Lightning abilities simultaneously, it grants a significant percentage-based damage increase, further enhancing the player's damage.

Second, Aspect of Shredding Blades. This power causes summoned creatures to inflict a vulnerable status on enemies.

Players can utilize abilities like Hydra, Ice Blades, and Lightning Spear in conjunction with this aspect's mechanics. Furthermore, this aspect can synergize with Aspect of Elemental Constellation.

This concludes the detailed guide to Blizzard Shock Sorcerer Build in Diablo 4 Season 14 Season of Death Awakening. This build has been revitalized by the latest patch, and new builds will benefit from it as the game continues to update.

If you are interested in builds, you can follow EZG Facebook; we will continue to update this build and the latest patches. In addition, we will be holding events in the future, and by participating, you will have the chance to win valuable gifts.

So far, this build has performed remarkably well in the game. If you're tired of the regular Sorcerer build, you should definitely give this powerful but less common build a try.

Diablo 4 Season 14 Patch Notes 3.1.2 Update: Pit Bubble Returns and Mythic Unique Bugs Fixed

Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening Patch 3.1.2 will officially go live at 1 PM EST on July 28th.

This patch update, besides renaming Mythic crafting Horadric Cube recipe from Upgrade to Craft, focuses more on fixing bugs and issues that have appeared since launch. Also, Pit Bubble, which players noticed disappeared at the beginning of the season, will return with this patch.

For the majority of players, the comeback of Pit Bubble is undoubtedly the most welcomed change in this update. But what makes it so highly praised? Why?

Specific Functions

After completing a Pit and defeating Pit Guardian, a Glyph Upgrade will appear in the player's field of vision, followed by a transparent protective bubble - this is Pit Bubble.

Entering Pit Bubble will prevent players from taking damage from nearby mobs or residual abilities from bosses after death. Ground-based burning, poison, and other continuous damage effects will also be unaffected, allowing players to safely upgrade their Glyph.

This function is especially important for high-level Pit, because in high-level environments, mobs, especially elites, deal more damage. Therefore, Pit Bubble has always been considered one of the most important quality-optimizing designs in Pit.

Development History

Phase 1

Pit Bubble first appeared in Diablo 4 Season 4: Loot Reborn, debuting alongside Pit.

The initial design goal of Pit was to provide players with endless challenge content, test their build limits, and provide Masterworking materials. After completing a Pit, players would enter a Boss reward phase and have a safe process for upgrading their Glyph.

However, this process required players to open UI, during which combat was completely impossible.

To counter the ever-increasing number of monsters, Blizzard added Pit Bubble. Players within the bubble would be completely protected from damage, giving them a safe window to inspect their equipment, manage their inventory, and finish upgrading Glyphs.

At this time, Pit Bubble was not a heavily promoted system, but rather a naturally occurring convenience mechanism.

Phase 2

As Diablo 4 seasons progressed and players increasingly challenged higher-level Pit, the value of Pit Bubble became more apparent.

This is because in higher-level Pit, not only do the bosses deal more damage and face greater difficulty, but the constantly spawning elite monsters also deal significant damage. Dying in a higher-level Pit results in more severe penalties.

Therefore, to prevent players from facing death after defeating a boss, Pit Bubble transformed from a convenient mechanic into an essential safety measure for players progressing through higher-level Pit.

Phase 3

However, at the beginning of Diablo 4 Season 14, players discovered that Pit Bubble did not appear after a Pit ended. Initially, players thought this was a bug, as some reported that Pit Bubble appeared randomly, and others reported that monsters could also enter it.

But recently, players finally confirmed that it was indeed an intentional adjustment by Blizzard to Pit Bubble, not a bug.

Reasons for Removal

While the official explanation is not clear and complete, the player community has summarized two key reasons.

Reason 1:

Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening brought several new seasonal features and mechanics, including:

  • Whisper Ambush
  • War Plans-related Events

Some players discovered they could use Pit Bubble to deal with extra spawned enemies, killing them without taking damage and obtaining a large amount of extra loot.

Reason 2:

After a Pit ends, Whisper Ambush is triggered, randomly spawning an Ambush Boss. However, if a player enters Pit Bubble, Boss cannot attack, but the player can attack Boss through Pit Bubble. This severely impacted game balance and atmosphere.

Therefore, Blizzard decided to temporarily disable Pit Bubble.

Reinstatement

Finally, thanks to positive player feedback and anticipation, Pit Bubble will return with a brand new look in Diablo 4 Season 14 Patch 3.1.2.

The main adjustment to Pit Bubble in this update is that if Whisper Ambush doesn't trigger after a Pit ends, a Pit Bubble will spawn immediately; if it does trigger, it will respawn after the player defeats Ambush Boss.

This adjustment aims to prevent mechanic conflicts while preserving the safe leveling experience players need. This way, in the later stages of Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening, when players are actively pushing for Pit 150, they can smoothly evacuate after victory without suffering unnecessary deaths and penalties.

The disappearance and reappearance of Pit Bubble essentially reflects a long-standing issue in Diablo 4: the endgame difficulty should challenge players, not punish those who have already completed it.

Other Fixes

Besides the return of Pit Bubble, this update also focuses on mechanic bugs, Rogue abnormal damage, Mythic item interactions, and:

  • Fixed an issue where Whisper icon could overlap Infernal Horde teleport interaction location.
  • Fixed an issue where killing Soul Eater while it was frozen could cause it to respawn.
  • Fixed an issue where Deathtoll Chamber would complete before Soul Eater was defeated.
  • Fixed an issue where skipping objectives could prevent Cosmic Archives Stronghold from progressing.
  • Fixed an issue where mount effects would persist after being disbanded.

For more details on Patch 3.1.2 or Diablo 4 Season 14 news, follow EZG Facebook. Besides real-time updates, we'll also be giving away free game resources to lucky fans - come join us!

Compared with the previous 3.1.1 patch, which mainly focused on endgame economy problems such as Mythic Unique acquisition, Diablo 4 Season 14 Patch 3.1.2 serves more than a seasonal stability update, delivering a second wave of adjustments based on player feedback following the season's release.

For casual players, the biggest benefit of this patch will be more stable seasonal events. For endgame players, the biggest changes are improved Mythic inventory management (fixing the issue of Mythic Uniques not being recyclable) and corrections to some abnormal bursts in Rogue mode.

Overall, the player experience in the later stages of Diablo 4 Season 14 has been optimized to some extent.

Diablo 4 Season 14: Fast Flawless Horadric Sapphire Farm Still Works - Get 20 Hours of Progress in 1 Hour

In Lord of Hatred, Diablo 4 completely redesigned the gem system, adjusting the attributes of various gems and introducing two new gem tiers: Horadric Gem and Flawless Horadric Gem.

Flawless Horadric Sapphire is a rare and powerful gem that increases frost damage and frost resistance. However, players typically need to spend up to twenty hours farming for just one.

But in Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, a bug allows players to farm Flawless Horadric Sapphires in just one hour. This bug has not yet been fixed.

Core Mechanics

Normally, farming Flawless Horadric Sapphire in Diablo 4 was a lengthy process:

Players needed to collect a large number of Sapphire Fragments, then use them to craft five Horadric Sapphires, and finally use Horadric Cubes to combine Horadric Sapphires into a Flawless Horadric Sapphire.

Previously, players could farm these fragments in Nightmare Dungeons and craft Flawless Horadric Sapphires, but this process was extremely time-consuming.

In Season 14, this changed. First, players could unlock Branching Pathways, nodes related to Nightmare Dungeons, through War Plan system.

Branching Pathways allowed players to choose from several bonus affixes at the end of each Nightmare Dungeon level, including Gem Reserve - which granted players more gem fragments.

More importantly, the benefits of this affix increased significantly with each level. According to player testing, level 3 is the most suitable level for farming gem fragments. This is because level 3 has moderate difficulty and offers very substantial affix rewards.

However, Nightmare Dungeons currently has a bug: according to player feedback, if a player selects escalating Nightmare Dungeons and teleports back to town, returning to the dungeon may reset it to a normal dungeon, no longer retaining the escalating status.

Under certain conditions, players can exploit this phenomenon to reset Nightmare Dungeons, causing all chests and enemies to respawn immediately, but the affixes will remain unchanged.

Therefore, players can repeatedly farm Nightmare Dungeons level 3 to obtain a large number of Sapphire Fragments in a short time, thus quickly farming Diablo 4 Flawless Horadric Sapphire. This will save a significant amount of time compared to the normal farming method.

Operation Flow

Now that we understand the mechanics, we can proceed with the specific operations.

Obtaining Affix Combination

The first and most time-consuming step in this farming method is obtaining the ideal affix combination in the first two levels of Nightmare Dungeon.

First, players need to farm Gem Reserve of the target type. Since the target is Sapphire Fragments, Sapphire Reserve is required.

Second, players need to farm Dark Omen. This affix has a special effect in Nightmare Dungeon; players will definitely encounter The Butcher in Dungeon, and there is also a chance to encounter Treasure Goblin or Helltide Boss. Defeating these monsters will reward players with additional Gem Shards.

Resetting Dungeon

Once players successfully farm the target affix and enter the third level, they should clear all chests on that level and defeat the additional boss summoned by Dark Omen, but not the final boss of that level.

Next, players need to teleport back to the main city and then randomly enter a normal dungeon, such as Seer's Reach in Skovos region.

Upon entering the normal dungeon, players need to immediately open Sanctuary map and teleport directly back to the third level of Nightmare Dungeon.

If done correctly, players will find that the dungeon level has been completely reset - all chests are openable again, Dark Omen boss can be defeated again, and the player's affix combination remains unchanged. At this point, players can begin a new round of opening chests and farming gem shards.

Additionally, players can activate Recurring Nightmare node. In Diablo 4 Season 14, this affix gives Nightmare Dungeon boss a chance to drop Escalation Sigils - essential items for unlocking Nightmare Dungeon, thus enabling infinite Nightmare Dungeon farming.

Efficiency Comparison

According to experiences shared by Diablo 4 players in the community, if this farming method is applied on Torment XII difficulty, a single chest in Nightmare Dungeon's third level can yield approximately 270,000 target-type gem shards, and defeating Dark Omen boss can yield approximately 750,000 shards.

With such incredible efficiency, this player obtained a Flawless Horadric Gem in less than an hour. In comparison, traditional farming methods would take nearly 20 hours to achieve the same result, making it dozens of times less efficient.

Potential Risks

However, since this method exploits a bug in Diablo 4 Season 14, it carries potential risks. Once this bug is fixed, players will no longer be able to farm Flawless Horadric Gems, and of course, Flawless Horadric Sapphires, in such a short time.

This bug bypasses the normal dungeon reset process and significantly increases shard acquisition efficiency, clearly contradicting the design team's original intentions; therefore, its fixing is inevitable.

In fact, some players have already reported the existence of this bug to the developers. Based on past experience, the developers may fix it when it becomes widely known in the player community. Currently, the bug is known to many players, and it is very likely to be fixed in a few days.

The above is a method for quickly farming Flawless Horadric Sapphire in Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening. In addition, you can follow EZG Facebook; we may be giving away gifts to followers in the future, which may include Flawless Horadric Sapphire.

If you want to use this farming method, please act quickly before the bug is fixed.

Struggling with Diablo 4 The Pit of Artificers Timer? High-Level Strategies for Running in Season 14

Diablo 4 Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, which Blizzard intentionally increased in difficulty, is currently underway. Based on existing community comments, The Pit of Artificers is the most affected; high-level players are raving about how awesome it is, while regular players are complaining bitterly.

Besides the criticism of the difficulty, the reduced rewards in this tier-based endgame system in S14 have also become a major point. Many players commented that they worked hard to successfully complete The Pit Tier 120 +, but only received a little Obducites, resulting in a completely asymmetrical return on investment.

These objective factors will constantly hinder your progress in The Pit of Artificers, but they are not insurmountable. Based on tests and strategies provided by advanced professional players, EZG.com offers a comprehensive guide to a comfortable journey through The Pit in Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening.

How it works?

The Pit of Artificers in Diablo 4, also known simply as The Pit, is a tiered endgame activity introduced in Season 4. In this activity, you must defeat all monsters and bosses in the arena within 15 minutes to unlock the next tier of content, excluding Tier 10 and below, as these are already unlocked when you enter the endgame.

If you succeed in the challenge, the number of tiers you can skip will be determined by the time remaining on the timer: less than 4 minutes left, skip 1 tier; 4-6 minutes left, skip 2 tiers; 6 minutes or more left, skip 3 tiers. However, if you unfortunately die in The Pit, the timer will reduce your exploration time based on the number of times you die.

The first death reduces the timer by 30 seconds, the second death by 60 seconds, and the third and subsequent deaths by 90 seconds each, until the timer runs out. After resets, you need to return to Cerrigar, Scosglen to find and interact with Artificer's Obelisk, and spend some Artificer's Stones to unlock the next exploration of The Pit of Artificers.

What are the rewards?

Upon completing The Pit for the first time in Diablo 4 Season 14, you'll be rewarded with some Upgrade Materials and the Masterworking system at The Blacksmith will be unlocked. As a side note, this reward is account-wide, so if you have more than one character this season, such as many Alts, you won't need to perform multiple runs.

Subsequently, completing each Tier of The Pit of Artificers run yields Upgrade Materials, such as Obducites in Tier 1-29, Ingoliths in Tier 30-59, and Neathirons in Tier 60+. These are primarily used for Masterworking Diablo 4 Items in The Blacksmith. Meanwhile, there are Ancestral Legendary Items, Murmuring Oboliths, and Paragon Glyphs.

If your character build is strong enough, you might want to try your luck with Glyph upgrade chances, which requires you to kill the boss precisely and quickly in the final stages of the timer: 4-6 minutes remaining, upgrade 3 additional tiers; 6 minutes or more remaining, upgrade 5 additional tiers. Note that in certain The Pit Tiers, the bosses will become Shadow bosses, which are even more challenging.

In addition to the regular rewards mentioned above, during Season 14 Season of Death Awakening in D4, The Pit of Artificers will also offer a chance to obtain Lair Boss Keys, which can be used to unlock Lair Bosses' Hoards. However, this is largely based on luck. According to player testing, it's only possible to farm these special items at Tier 120+, but the risks involved are also very high.

Available Strategies

While the low drop rate of high-value rewards in The Pit in Diablo 4 Season 14 is currently the biggest drawback, it must be acknowledged that every type of reward it offers is essential for the Season of Death Awakening endgame. Therefore, it is crucial to utilize it most effectively and maximize its impact. EZG.com offers the following strategies for you.

Optimize Your Build

As always, if you want to farm a specific area of content in Diablo 4, you must prepare the most suitable character build. For The Pit of Artificers, which emphasizes clearing efficiency and damage output, we recommend builds that can deal massive area damage and are highly flexible.

The extreme wide-area damage/control can effectively eliminate all enemies near you in the shortest time, while the extremely high mobility allows you to move freely throughout the arena to achieve the effect of traversing without taking damage.

Currently, there are many builds in D4 Season 14 that meet these two requirements, but Whirlwind Barbarian build and Dance of Knives Rogue build have been tested and are the most suitable for The Pit runs. You can choose to accord to your playstyle.

By the way, as the season progresses, more similar builds may appear in Diablo 4, so you can follow EZG Facebook closely. We will update this page promptly with any patch updates or changes. Also, you can also participate in Diablo 4 in-game product giveaways - come and join us!

Seize Timing

The next operational strategy I'll provide is to effectively capture certain timings, especially paying attention to certain nodes in the timer. If your task is simply to clear one tier to obtain the final reward, then you only need to ensure you survive the run; however, if you want to advance to the higher tiers of The Pit, then you must allow enough time.

Since there are more than 6 minutes remaining before you have a chance to skip more tiers, EZG.com suggests keeping the entire run of The Pit of Artificers to 9 minutes. This will unconsciously increase your monster-clearing speed and movement speed, thus achieving your ultimate goal.

In addition, familiarizing yourself with some of the bosses' attack moves in advance is also very important for controlling the timing of the entire process: after encountering them, attack them directly with elemental damage that they cannot resist, and specifically target their biggest weakness, their back, for damage.

Timely Retreat

The last strategy is one that most Diablo 4 players might overlook. If you encounter setbacks while progressing through or running The Pit of Artificers, such as dying twice in a tier, repeatedly dying in the same tier, or running out of time, don't hesitate to return to town and prepare for the next attempt.

Many players might think that repeatedly trying is a waste of time, but that's not the case. In contrast, the most time-consuming and energy-intensive task is to recklessly place a character who can't withstand high Tier The Pit and let them die repeatedly until the timer stops. So don't be afraid to give up.

This concludes the most comprehensive guide to running The Pit of Artificers in Diablo 4 Season 14. Hopefully, it will provide you with the most effective exploration strategies and allow you to apply them appropriately to your character. While The Pit is challenging, it's an unmissable and fun activity in the endgame. Come and experience it!

Diablo 4 Season 14 Flawless Horadric Topaz Guide: Crafting Cost, Best Builds and Fast Farming Methods

In Diablo 4 Season 14, crafting and enhancing a Flawless Horadric Gem using Horadric Cube has become a core objective for anyone aiming to complete the season and unlock the final rewards.

Among these gems, Flawless Horadric Topaz holds an irreplaceable strategic position in the endgame.

Due to its rework, Flawless Horadric Topaz's gem bonuses are now entirely independent multiplicative damage, providing a significant stat boost that conventional gems cannot match. It's a standard item for almost all builds tackling high-pressure environments like Pit 140-150, especially for Sorcerers and Druids.

Below, this article will explore how this important gem works and how many materials are needed to craft it in Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening.

Flawless Horadric Topaz

Attribute Bonuses

As one of the top-tier gems in the endgame, Flawless Horadric Topaz requires a player character to be level 30 to equip. Notably, when socketed into different equipment slots, it provides different attribute bonuses:

  • Weapons: x32% Lightning Damage Multiplier.
  • Armor: +150 Intelligence.
  • Jewelry: +4,375 Lightning Resistance.

Crafting

Cost

To craft a Flawless Horadric Topaz in Diablo 4 Season 14, the following materials are required:

  • Topaz Fragments: 25 million.
  • Gold: 250 million.
  • Forgotten Souls: 7,500.

Horadric Cube

After collecting all the crafting materials, you need to place them in Horadric Cube to synthesize them. The conversion mechanism and synthesis order are as follows:

  • Grand Topaz: 1 million Fragments + 10 million Gold + 300 Forgotten Souls.
  • Horadric Topaz: 5 Grand Topazs.
  • Flawless Horadric Topaz: 5 Horadric Topazs.

Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening optimized the fragment conversion rules: there is no longer any loss when converting fragments at Jeweler. You can use any other unwanted Gem Fragments to perfectly exchange for Topaz Fragments, greatly reducing the difficulty of collecting Fragments and eliminating idle waste.

Best Builds

Depending on the different bonuses provided by Flawless Horadric Topaz on various equipment slots, the best builds for each class and build in Diablo 4.

1. Weapon Slot

Flawless Horadric Topaz provides extremely strong multiplicative burst damage to weapons, directly raising the ceiling for all builds that rely on lightning damage this season. Therefore, the two best builds, from highest to lowest, are Sorcerer and Druid.

S-Tier

Sorcerer - Static Field / Lightning Spear

As a top-tier (T0) build in terms of map clearing efficiency this season, this gem pushes the already wide-area clearing lightning spell to its damage ceiling.

A-Tier

Druid - Lightning Storm

This gem significantly mitigates the fatal weakness of this build - relatively weak and inconsistent damage output against single-target bosses.

2. Armor Slots

In the late game of Diablo 4 Season of Death of Awakening, many rare nodes and Glyphs in Paragon Board have extremely high requirements for primary stats, and certain conditions must be met to trigger hidden secondary damage multipliers.

However, if all five pieces of armor are fully socketed with Flawless Horadric Topaz, you can gain a whopping 750 Intelligence points, allowing spellcasters to easily unlock the ultimate stats of all Paragon Boards.

S-Tier

Sorcerer - Firewall DoT

As a popular build poised to reach Pit 150 this season, Firewall DoT heavily relies on the infinite amplification of the primary stat Base Damage.

These 750 Intelligence points not only provide a huge base skill damage multiplier but also come with a massive amount of all elemental resistances, allowing Sorcerers to achieve maximum damage output while also significantly improving their tankiness.

A-Tier

Necromancer - Blood Wave

As the most outstanding Necromancer build this season, its high Intelligence directly guarantees its heavily reliant base damage.

Warlock - Lunatic Warlock

Utilizing the Intelligence bonus to stack Dominance nodes in Paragon Board greatly enhances its late-game survivability.

3. Jewelry Slot

High-level Pits and difficult bosses in Diablo 4 Season 14 impose extremely severe resistance reduction penalties. Compensating for resistance through other gear affixes like chest armor, pants, or shoes would significantly waste other core affixes such as dodge chance, total defense bonus, maximum health, and critical strike chance.

However, a single Flawless Horadric Topaz provides a massive amount of lightning resistance. Against specific final bosses with high lightning damage, such as Tormented Duriel, or certain Pit affixes, players only need to sacrifice one Jewelry slot to gain a significant amount of lightning resistance.

This allows all the regular affixes from the other Diablo 4 Items to be allocated to the crucial survival affixes, directly and indirectly improving the overall stats of the build, especially suitable for WW Barbarian and Quill Volley Spiritborn.

S-Tier

Barbarian - WW

The high resistance provided by this gem, combined with Barbarian's high health stat, ensures that he won't instantly die from lightning damage when fighting hordes of monsters.

A-Tier

Spiritborn - Quill Volley

Under the severe resistance penalties of high-level Pit difficulty, Quill Volley Spiritborn faces extremely high-frequency lightning barrages at close range.

The high lightning resistance granted by this gem is the foundation for Spiritborn's survival, allowing him to stand in the center of a monster horde for maximum close-range damage output.

Farming Methods

Based on the current game progress in Diablo 4 Season 14, there are two optimal farming routes for Flawless Horadric Topaz.

1. Endgame Infinite Build

On T10 and higher difficulties, this method allows you to collect all the base materials for crafting Flawless Horadric Topaz within an hour.

Core Route: Utilize War Plans to unlock Escalation Nightmare Dungeon.

Specific Steps

First, you need to speedrun the first two levels of Nightmare Dungeon normally, choosing any affixes. Upon reaching the third level, use the three-choice portal provided by the War Plans upgrade, ensuring you get Gem Reserve and Dark Omen affix combination.

After entering the third level, open all Horadric chests and defeat Dark Omen Boss (on T12 difficulty, each chest can yield up to 250,000-270,000 Gem Fragments).

However, remember, do not defeat the final boss. After opening all the chests, teleport back to the main city, enter a regular dungeon, and then reset the map.

At this point, the third level will refresh, all chests will reset, and the top-tier affixes from the first spawn will remain. This process continues, allowing for an almost infinite loop of nearly 30 million Fragments per hour.

2. Low-Barrier Speedrun

If you haven't reached the difficulty level for T10, Seer's Reach is definitely your best choice.

Core Route: Unlocked at T1 difficulty, all difficulties have the same base loot (Torment Difficulty only provides slightly more gear).

Specific Steps

Upon first entry, go directly to the deepest boss room. After defeating it, a map pin will be permanently left in the upper right corner of the room. Pick up the three Royal Gems dropped on the ground, then leave the instance and reset it.

When you re-enter the instance, thanks to the previous pin not being cleared, your mini-map will directly guide you to the boss's location. You can ignore the mobs along the way and directly farm the boss. Once you're familiar with it, a run should only take about 15-40 seconds.

Of course, if the above two methods are too cumbersome for you, you can also choose to buy Diablo 4 Flawless Horadric Topaz from EZG.com. Not only can you enjoy an 8% discount when you order now, but 90% of orders will arrive in about 30 minutes, making it definitely safer and more time-saving.

In short, Flawless Horadric Topaz is almost an essential gem for all current T0-tier builds aiming for the top Tower and high-level Pit. Hopefully, this guide can help all players obtain it faster.
