The player pool covers over 800 clubs and national teams, more than 30 leagues, and a total of over 21,000 players, so you won't have trouble finding your favorite player when participating in Destined for Glory vote.

How to Vote?

EA has not placed any edition-based restrictions on the voting process, so players who own either Standard Edition or Ultimate Edition can take part.

From August 21 to September 10, visit EA SPORTS FC 27 Ratings Database, select the player you believe will have an outstanding season, and click Vote button next to their name to submit your choice.

This can easily influence player choices, especially those who blindly follow trends and lack their own opinions.

Another major reason is that players lack sufficient confidence in emerging young players.

While Live Player Items sound appealing, for players, an investment of at least hundreds of thousands or even millions of FC 27 Coins is required. Players without concrete data or experience to back them up for future performance cannot fully gain the trust of most players.

Therefore, if the final votes still favor players they consider being the meta, resulting in homogenized community choices, what is the point of the database used for this vote?

Finally, returning to EA's public statement regarding FIFA 27 Destined for Glory, the official announcement did not promise that all players with the most votes would be included in Squad. Therefore, we can speculate that the final Squad lineup is determined by a combination of community voting and EA's own selection process.

Regarding the hidden flaws I mentioned, EA could easily include some popular players with high community votes in the final Squad, while also using its own selection mechanism to include young players, new signings, or promising talents.

For Destined for Glory, to avoid pseudo-democracy, not only EA but also many other areas need adjustment and attention. Players also need to be wary of being swayed by general trends and media hype, and simply vote based on their own preferences.
