While the official announcement for Diablo 4's third expansion is likely still some time away, players are already speculating about what the next new class might be.

For Diablo series, new classes have always been a major draw for expansions. From Crusader and Necromancer to the classes added post-launch in Diablo 4, every new addition impacts build choices, gear requirements, and the overall game meta.

If Blizzard chooses to preview Expansion 3 at a future BlizzCon, the new class will undoubtedly be a highlight.

However, since Blizzard hasn't confirmed which class will be included in the third expansion, the best approach right now is to analyze Diablo 4's current roster, classic series classes, and unexplored gameplay styles to determine the most likely candidates.

Monk

Monks are one of the classic classes players frequently ask to see return.

In Diablo 3, Monk featured high-speed movement, close-quarters combos, and a distinct martial arts style. Its overall pacing differed significantly from traditional heavy melee classes like Barbarian, making it instantly recognizable.

In reality, however, Monk's potential return depends on Spiritborn. Spiritborn already features high-mobility melee combat, rapid repositioning, and numerous skills centered on spirit energy - gameplay elements that closely resemble Monk's style.

Furthermore, Spiritborn's tribal and spirit-based themes overlap with design elements previously associated with both Monk and Witch Doctor.

If Blizzard were to simply port D3 Monk directly into the game, the two classes would likely suffer from overlapping roles.

That said, Monk could still return if it undergoes a significant overhaul. This might involve emphasizing fist weapons, rapid-fire strikes, and defensive counters, while establishing a new resource loop based on D4 items - effectively refocusing the class on its core martial arts identity.

Amazon

Amazon faces fewer hurdles than Monk.

Diablo 4's Rogue already covers bow combat, agile movement, and certain ranged damage playstyles; consequently, a traditional Bow Amazon would easily overlap with the existing Rogue class. However, Amazon's identity isn't defined solely by the bow and arrow.

Javelin, Spear, and Lightning-based Amazon builds can still form a distinct class identity. This is particularly relevant given that Diablo 4 currently lacks a class with a gameplay system fully centered on spears, javelins, thrown weapons, and their associated Diablo 4 items.

This actually creates an opening for Amazon. If the developers decide to bring back this classic class, the most logical approach wouldn't be to create another ranged archer; instead, they could emphasize spear charges, javelin throws, spreading lightning attacks, and precise mid-range strikes.

This strategy would preserve Amazon archetype familiar to D2 players while clearly avoiding the gameplay territory already covered by Rogue.

Witch Doctor

Witch Doctor is another highly distinctive class of Diablo 3. Its unique combat style - defined by poisons, pets, summons, and eerie spells - stands out, yet this design feels a bit crowded within the current Diablo 4 landscape.

Necromancer already possess a mature summoning system and command corpses, curses, and a vast array of dark magic, while Spiritborn covers elements like spirits, nature, and tribal culture. Consequently, no matter which direction Witch Doctor takes, it risks overlapping with existing classes.

Therefore, rather than a direct recreation of D3 Witch Doctor, the developers are more likely to deconstruct its defining features - such as poison spells, curses, totems, or unique summoning mechanics - and recombine them into a distinct new class.

Blood Knight

If the developers choose not to look to D2 or D3 for inspiration, a Blood Knight-style class becomes an interesting option.

Blood Knight archetype has already been utilized in Diablo Immortal, and since Diablo 4 already features numerous vampire enemies, blood-based abilities, and dark religious themes, such a design would fit seamlessly into the world of Sanctuary.

More importantly, it is easy to establish a combat style for Blood Knight that differs significantly from the current classes.

Its gameplay could revolve around mechanics like health consumption, life-stealing, sustained regeneration, blood-based skills, and short-term transformations. It could utilize two-handed weapons or polearms, with D4 unique items further enhancing a high-risk, high-recovery melee combat loop. 

While Barbarian emphasizes strength, weaponry, and direct strikes, and Necromancer leans into death, corpses, and summoning, Blood Knight could center its mechanics on a cycle of trading health for damage and then reclaiming that health through combat.

If the developers can craft mechanics that are sufficiently distinct, this class has the potential to stand apart from the existing roster.

Shaman, Dark Knight, and Spellsword

Of course, the new class for Expansion 3 does not necessarily have to come from Diablo's past roster.

Spiritborn has demonstrated the developers' willingness to create entirely new class concepts for Diablo 4, making completely original designs a distinct possibility for the future.

For instance, a Shaman class could be built around totems, elemental spells, and short-duration summons, further distinguishing itself from Druid's shapeshifting and nature magic.

A Dark Knight could wield greatswords and heavy armor, emphasizing blocking, charged attacks, or high-risk melee combat to create a heavy-hitting playstyle that is more stable and rhythm-focused than that of Barbarian.

There is also significant potential for a Spellsword. Currently, Sorcerer relies primarily on pure spellcasting, leaving a gap for a class that truly blends large melee weapons with magic. Enchanted weaponry, elemental slashes, defensive spells, and close-range spellcasting could all serve as core elements of such a class.

More daring directions cannot be ruled out either; after all, Spiritborn proved that Blizzard is willing to push the boundaries of Diablo class design, so Expansion 3 need not look to the past for answers.

As D4 roster grows, it becomes increasingly important for the new class in Expansion 3 to avoid overlapping with existing playstyles.

Whether the choice falls on a classic class like Amazon or a new concept like Blood Knight or Shaman, the key lies in delivering a combat experience that is genuinely missing from the current lineup. Only with a sufficiently distinct identity can the new class truly serve as a core selling point for the expansion.

The global launch of Architect: Land of Exiles is drawing ever closer. Developed by Aqua Tree and published by DRIMAGE, this large-scale MMORPG will be available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Malaysia, among other Asian regions.

With the launch date approaching, the game is currently in its final preparation phase, with pre-downloads, pre-registration, and server and character name pre-orders progressing smoothly.

Currently, the official fourth round of server and character name pre-orders is open. If you didn't manage to select a suitable server in the first three rounds, or haven't secured your desired ID, you can still pre-order now to prepare for the official launch.

What is Architect?

For players unfamiliar with Architect: Land of Exiles, this is a massively open-world MMORPG. The game revolves around Tower of Titans, where players will enter an area known as Abandoned Land, gradually uncovering the forces, conflicts, and secrets behind this land as they explore it.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game emphasizes a large, seamless world, character customization, and an action-oriented combat experience. The combat system includes non-targeting combat, hack-and-slash, and parry mechanics, along with different Battle Stances to handle PvE, PvP, and large-scale multiplayer battles.

Besides combat, character progression, equipment upgrades, and resource accumulation are expected to form part of the long-term gameplay. Therefore, the basic currency, Architect Land of Exiles diamonds, should have a relatively stable demand during the development process.

ALOE has already launched in South Korean market, but based on the currently revealed gameplay, it doesn't entirely rely on traditional target-based MMORPG combat.

Non-targeting attacks, dodging, blocking, and an action-oriented combat rhythm make it feel closer to the action MMORPGs that Western players have become more familiar with in recent years.

This expansion to several Southeast Asian markets can be seen as a further step for ALOE to test its acceptance in overseas markets.

If the global release continues to expand its coverage, its open-world scale, action combat, and multiplayer PvE/PvP content are likely to become some of the main selling points attracting overseas MMO players.

Release Date

Architect: Land of Exiles is in its final countdown to release. The global release will officially launch on September 16th, and players can pre-download the client starting September 14th.

The official pre-order system has been opening in batches since the end of August, allowing players to choose their servers before launch and reserve their long-term IDs, so they don't have to compete with other players for slots during the official launch.

Pre-orders are now in their fourth round. For players who missed the first three rounds, didn't choose a suitable server, or only recently decided to join, this round is essentially a chance to re-enter before launch.

Round 4 Reservation

The fourth round of server and character name reservations for ALOE opened on September 2nd at 8:30 AM ET and will continue until September 13th at 10:59 AM ET.

Considering that there are only a few days left before the official launch after the event ends, this round is essentially the final stage of securing a name before the server opens.

Participation is simple. Players can access the official Server & Character Name Reservation page, log in with a supported social media account, select the server they wish to join, and then enter the character name they wish to reserve to complete the reservation.

Character names are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Duplicate names are not allowed on the same server, and each account can currently only reserve one character name.

Once the server and ID are confirmed, they cannot be changed. Therefore, if you are still hesitating between several options, it is best to first determine the one you truly intend to use long-term.

Additionally, reservations may not continue until September 13th. If the current quota is used up early, the official team may close this round early, while also reserving the possibility of adding more reservation slots later.

For popular servers and short, common IDs for Land of Exiles, the later you choose, the fewer options will remain.

After pre-registering, players need to remember their chosen server. Once the game officially launches on September 16th, they can create a character on that server and use their previously saved name.

However, pre-registration data will not be retained indefinitely. If the pre-registered server and character name are not used to log in before the maintenance on November 4th, 2026, the data will be automatically deleted.

For players planning to play long-term, choosing a server and character name in advance is only the first step. After the official launch, character progression, equipment enhancement, and accumulating resources such as Land of Exiles diamonds will gradually become the main focus.

Pre-Registration Rewards

Players who decide to join ALOE at this stage still have time to secure the launch bonuses. Sign-ups are available through the game's website and major mobile storefronts, and the campaign will stay active right up to release.

The currently announced pre-registration rewards include a 4-Star Mount Crescent Night Wanderer, a 3-Star Costume Intermediate Enforcer, Heir Privilege (3 Days), and 10,000,000 Architect Land of Exiles gold. Additional rewards are available in certain regions and through different pre-registration channels.

For players already committed to the game, now is the perfect time to complete all pre-launch preparations: pre-register, claim the corresponding rewards, and then secure your server and character name through the fourth round of pre-registration.

With September 16th launch date approaching, preparations for Land of Exiles are essentially in their final stages.

Compared to waiting until the servers officially open to select a server and grab an ID, completing these steps in advance is significantly easier, especially for players who already have a target character name. The fourth round of pre-registration is still worthwhile.

Aniimo will officially launch on September 16, 2026. This is a free-to-play, next-generation open-world role-playing game where players will capture unique creatures and complete fantasy action quests across the vast continent of Eden.

If you're interested in this game but don't know where to start, then you definitely need to read this article. Next, I'll share the priorities you should have on your first day in Aniimo to help you quickly establish a strong start and avoid wasting time.

Server Selection and Character Naming Strategy

Before entering Aniimo, you need to choose your server. There are three: America, Europe, and APAC. After selection, your character will be locked to your chosen server - it cannot be transferred later.

If you plan to play with friends, please select a server before clicking the create button. These servers are independent of each other; if you need to switch servers, you will need to start from scratch.

Then, register your character name as early as possible. Each name is unique, and the character creation system is comprehensive enough to keep you immersed for at least an hour.

Remember firstly choose your preferred name, then adjust your character's appearance - you can change the appearance later, but names are first-come, first-served.

Starter Choice

The game's initial tutorial will let you catch your first Aniimo - a Fire-type Aniimo, basically given to you outright. A few minutes later, you can freely explore an open area and almost immediately catch Hummin (Grass), Skippy (Water), and Celestis (Dark).

As a new player, you might be unsure which Aniimo to choose for your team. Some Aniimo can help you move around, some excel at team building, some shine in PvP, and then there are many other useful Aniimo.

I think on the first day, don't worry too much about your initial partner; it's important to catch all the animals you see before deciding how to deal with those Aniimo.

Unlock Master Trainer Immediately

This is the most important decision you make early in the game. Your first skill points should be invested directly into Master Trainer in your character's skill tree. This grants you a +10% experience bonus in almost everything, such as capturing and defeating enemies.

However, a word of caution: never use an XP Gem before activating Master Trainer. Otherwise, you will permanently lose this 10% experience bonus. Activating Master Trainer unlocks the Hoverboard to improve movement, and everything else can wait.

Understanding Experience Gain Methods

Elite Training Quests

This is the fastest way to level up in Aniimo. Do these quests as soon as they become available. Relying solely on these quests can get you to around level 31.

Bloom Branches

Activating Bloom Branches on the map grants experience and fast travel points. They also populate the flower map, unlocking subsequent weather control features.

Light Embers (Lumens)

These items are scattered throughout the map, and a notification will appear when you approach them. Don't ignore them; each Light Ember provides experience.

Sanctuaries

These are puzzle-style mini-dungeons in Aniimo, offering generous experience points, and if you're lucky, you might even find rare materials.

Alpha Bosses

Defeating these wandering bosses grants a large amount of experience points.

Learn Twining and Combat Modes

Twining is the core mechanic of Aniimo and what sets it apart from other games.

Once you capture an Aniimo, you can twinnate and transform, borrowing its abilities. Some can climb cliffs, some can glide, and some can dive underwater. You'll need to develop the habit of constantly switching forms.

In addition, there are two combat modes that you need to switch between:

Command Mode

In this mode, you need to command your Aniimo like in a tactical team battle, while ensuring your own safety. Precise movement control is required.

Twining Mode

You will transform and directly control your Aniimo, unleashing real-time combos. This mode is best suited for burst damage and battles requiring dodging.

Master Capturing

To successfully capture an Aniimo in Aniimo game, it's not just about lowering your health and throwing balls. You'll need some techniques. The following methods can help increase your capture success rate:

Use Higher-Level Aniipods

Using higher-level capsules significantly increases the capture success rate. Aniipod Ultra has a 100% capture success rate. This item can be redeemed with 20 Aniipod Ultra Vouchers or obtained through Aniimo Currency trading.

Ambush from Behind

Approaching from behind significantly increases the capture success rate. If Aniimo spots you, the capture success rate will decrease.

Catch Them Sleeping

Sleeping Aniimos are easier to capture, so you can wait for the right moment or look for resting targets.

Inflict Break Damage

Breaking a creature's defenses during combat greatly increases the capture success rate. Don't try to capture targets that are still in a completely stable state.

Unlock Homeland and RV System ASAP

The homeland and RV system is also very important in Aniimo. Once your homestead is up and running, you'll accumulate more resources and complete time-consuming activities much faster.

Assuming you start building your homestead on day one of the game, compared to starting on day ten, you'll have a huge advantage.

Since the homestead system primarily runs in the background, it won't affect your gameplay - you only need to check it occasionally to ensure facilities are upgraded, different plots are unlocked, materials are acquired and sold, and so on. Furthermore, materials obtained from the homestead system can be used to upgrade and decorate your campervan.

Netmarble's MMORPG Raven 2 is about to launch its new Fresh Start Server Zero, officially going live on September 15th. Pre-registration is currently open.

Unlike regular new servers, Zero not only forces all players to start from Level 1, but also features adjustments to the server environment and progression system, focusing on reducing the power gap and lessening the pressure of PvP competition.

While a fresh server can attract returning players, the novelty will quickly wear off. Therefore, after its launch on September 15th, the most important question is whether Raven 2 Zero is a new server suitable for long-term development or just a short-term player return event.

Japanese Server Zero

Raven 2 Zero isn't actually a recent addition on September 15th. Japanese version of Raven 2 launched a Zero-type Specialized World on May 27th, and its performance provides some reference for Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero.

Japanese server initially planned six Zero servers, but all of them quickly became congested after launch, even experiencing queues. Because of the unexpectedly high number of players, the developers subsequently added six more servers.

Of course, the performance of Japanese server doesn't guarantee the success of global Zero on September 15th. After all, players in different regions have different playstyles, and the overall Raven 2 environment is different now than it was a few months ago.

However, this result at least shows that this type of server isn't without a market. Netmarble already has practical experience operating one, and the launch of global Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero isn't entirely without basis.

Server Rewards

The most direct attraction of Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero is, of course, the launch rewards. Netmarble has opened pre-registration, and players who complete the pre-registration will receive a Special Starter Package.

These include a Heroic Holy Garment Summon Scroll, a Heroic Familiar Summon Scroll, an Elite Spec. C Member's Accessory Selection Chest, +2 Dazzling Relic Chests, 200 Spec. C Enhancement Stone Chests, and 5 million gold.

These rewards essentially cover the growth resources a character needs in the early stages of Raven 2, especially Heroic Holy Garments and Familiars. After the official launch, Zero will also launch a series of limited-time events. The entire event period will offer up to 550 Summon Scrolls, along with guaranteed Legendary Holy Garments and Familiars.

During the first month after Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero launches, you can also receive Heroic Holy Garments or Familiar rewards weekly. As your character levels up, corresponding Level Milestone Chests will be unlocked.

Additionally, Special Corps Growth Event will offer high-level growth rewards such as Heroic Equipment and Skill Books, primarily obtainable through normal game progress, continuously covering your entire Fresh Start Server growth process.

PvE Changes

Meanwhile, Raven 2 Zero will increase the overall profitability of PvE farming. The server will increase Monster Equipment Drop Rate and Hunting EXP, and adjust some Monster stats, including Accuracy, to reduce misses in PvE combat, allowing players to level up and accumulate gear faster.

Zero will also introduce a Farming Crystal mechanism, allowing you to acquire additional Raven 2 Crystal through Field Hunting. As mentioned in a previous developer livestream, this mechanism allows you to obtain more growth resources through normal gameplay, reducing reliance on paid growth methods.

Guild gameplay will also be more PvE-oriented; you can acquire resources through Guild Boss Hunts and other content, rather than competing for Guild Wars.

Mythic

Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero will also adjust some advanced progression systems, including Mythic and Summon/Awakening mechanics, with some content potentially being removed. This is primarily to control the power gap after the fresh server launch.

Although all players will start from Level 1, if the advanced systems and existing progression mechanics were fully retained, a significant power stratification would quickly reappear on the server. Fresh Start Server Zero aims to slow this process, providing a more stable progression environment for both new and returning players.

However, this doesn't mean Raven 2 has completely become a free-to-play game. It hasn't completely eliminated the advantages for paying players; in the mid-to-late game, paying players' equipment, characters, and endgame progress can still create a gap compared to free-to-play players.

Worth Playing?

If you enjoy the graphics, auto-battle, AFK grinding, and equipment progression of Korean MMORPGs, but dislike the high-frequency PvP of traditional servers, Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero might be more suitable for you.

Fresh Server provides a unified starting point, allowing new players to avoid the power gap accumulated over years in older servers, and enabling returning players to start afresh. For players who prioritize grinding and character progression, this environment is more relaxed than traditional servers.

However, if your primary focus in Raven 2 is PvP, Guild Wars, boss battles, and power struggles, Zero might not satisfy you.

Server Zero can be sustained by Fresh Start, but its long-term player retention depends on the sufficiency of subsequent PvE content. If the endgame ultimately consists of repetitive hunting and equipment farming, player interest will easily wane.

Therefore, after Raven 2 Fresh Start Server Zero launches on September 15th, new and returning players can use Fresh Server to start afresh and then assess whether continued investment is worthwhile based on actual player activity, economic conditions, and subsequent content updates.

With the launch of Phase 3, the profession landscape in TBC Anniversary is shifting. The introduction of new Epic Gems and Jewelcrafting recipes has made Jewelcrafting a profession many players are considering switching to.

However, the server economy in TBC Classic Anniversary differs significantly from the original Classic era. Supplies of low-level materials from Old World have dwindled, causing the prices of certain common ores, bars, and basic materials to rise.

Consequently, leveling Jewelcrafting from 1 to 375 requires more than just speed; you must also consider material prices, crafted-item returns, and whether the final few skill points are worth the cost.

Why Level Jewelcrafting Now?

The biggest impact of Phase 3 on Jewelcrafting comes from the new batch of Purple Gems and their associated recipes.

With these high-level gems, BCC Anniversary players have more options to optimize their current gear. New Jewelcrafting recipes are also available through Hyjal, Black Temple, and reputation vendors.

Since high-level Jewelcrafting content will arrive later with Sunwell Plateau, reaching 375 now can reduce the pressure of catching up later.

Of course, whether it is worth switching professions still depends on your class build, server prices, and the value of your current profession.

Jewelcrafting 1-300

Many players are surprised by the cost of the 1-300 range.

Shopping lists from traditional guides might cost 800 - 1,200 TBC Anniversary gold on some servers, while a route adjusted for current material availability can theoretically reduce the cost to below 700 gold.

The main reason is the scarcity of low-level materials. As most players have reached the endgame, fewer people are mining Copper, Silver, and other Old World ores, driving up prices.

Therefore, check Auction House on your TBC Anniversary server and adjust your route based on real-time prices instead of blindly following older guides.

How to Save Gold from 1-300?

The rings, necklaces, and green-quality items crafted while leveling often retain resale value.

Some can be listed directly on Auction House, but listing too many identical items at once can slow sales and lower prices.

If you have an Enchanting alt or a friend who can disenchant items, compare the prices of Dust and Essence. In many cases, disenchanting green-quality jewelry is easier than selling every finished item individually.

Handled properly, crafts from 1-300 can recoup around 200 gold, meaning a nominal 700 gold material cost does not equal the final net expense.

Some stages also rely on Yellow recipes, which do not guarantee a skill point with every craft. Treat shopping-list quantities as minimum requirements and prepare a small surplus of materials to account for unlucky skill-ups.

Jewelcrafting 300-375

Upon entering Outland, the cost rises significantly. On some servers, leveling from 300 to 375 can cost over 1,000 gold.

However, high-level gems, jewelry, and transitional gear crafted during this stage are easier to sell, so their resale value should be included when calculating the real cost.

Most basic Jewelcrafting recipes required for 300-375 can be obtained from trainers or vendors in Hellfire Peninsula.

Alliance players can visit Tatiana in Honor Hold, while Horde players can visit Kalaen in Thrallmar.

Before getting materials in bulk, make sure you already have the required vendor recipes.

365-375: Speed or Savings?

The final 10 skill points are the most expensive part of the entire 1-375 route.

Using Meta Gem recipes such as Earthstorm Diamond can make 365-375 alone cost over 600 gold. For players who want to reach 375 quickly, this is essentially trading gold for time.

If you are not in a rush, Brilliant Glass offers a more cost-effective alternative. Its material cost is much lower than repeatedly crafting Meta Gems, but it has a 24-hour cooldown.

That gives you two options: use expensive Meta Gem crafts for speed, or make Brilliant Glass daily and finish 365-375 gradually.

With Purple Gems entering Phase 3, demand for Blue Gems may also decline. If prices remain high on your server, consider monitoring Auction House before acquiring them in bulk.

Server economies vary, so always base acquires on your own market conditions.

Recipes After 375

Reaching 375 is only the foundation of TBC Phase 3 Jewelcrafting. Its long-term value depends heavily on the recipes you collect afterward.

Many recipes are gated behind faction reputation, dungeon drops, and raid progression. The Consortium is one faction Jewelcrafters should prioritize.

Epic Jewelcrafting recipes in Phase 3 mainly come from Battle for Mount Hyjal, Black Temple, and The Scale of the Sands Quartermaster.

Purple Gem recipes have different sources: some drop in raids, while others require reputation with The Scale of the Sands.

If you plan to keep Jewelcrafting long-term, building reputation and collecting raid recipes is more important than simply reaching 375.

Jewelcrafting and Mining

Mining remains the most natural companion profession for Jewelcrafting. Ore can be converted into gems through Prospecting, while bars obtained through Smelting can be used for many 1 - 300 recipes.

If you do not want to spend hours mining, you can get ore from Auction House and level Mining through Smelting. The full route costs around 650 TBC Phase 3 gold, depending on your server economy.

The resulting bars can be used for Jewelcrafting or resold, so the full amount is not necessarily a sunk cost.

Optimal 1 - 375 Leveling Route

If your goal is to reach 375 quickly, gather the required materials upfront and use Meta Gem route for the final skill points.

If cost-efficiency matters more, sell or disenchant crafted gear, use Brilliant Glass to progress through 365 - 375, and wait for better Blue Gem prices before getting in bulk.

For long-term Jewelcrafting players, Phase 3 is also about building reputation with The Consortium and The Scale of the Sands while collecting recipes from dungeons, Hyjal, and Black Temple.

Jewelcrafting is expensive in TBC Anniversary Phase 3, but once material costs, crafted-item returns, and endgame recipe value are considered together, it remains a worthwhile profession in Phase 3.

Grinding Gear Games is paying more attention to Path of Exile 2 with the upcoming Patch 0.5.5 and Forbidden Rites Event, launching at 1 p.m. Pacific Time on September 4th.
