Beyond the Robberies: The Creative Investment and Business Overhauls Fans Want in GTA 6

It is now confirmed that GTA 6 will be officially released on November 19, 2026, but its third trailer has not yet been released, which continues to speculate on the feature improvements that the new game may contain. This guide will introduce some of them to you.

Jun 01, 2026 Author: EZG

Unfortunately, despite numerous leaks and gameplay footage, the Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 3 has not yet been released and remains delayed. The developers stated that they repeatedly delayed the release of this new sequel in order to ensure GTA 6 was launched in a state that better met public expectations.

That sounds very sincere, doesn't it? But in reality, very few of the original developers from Rockstar Games who were involved in the project remain. Therefore, maintaining the reputation built up by the previous work is already difficult, and a comeback is almost impossible.

This situation is welcomed by players who initially had some minor complaints about GTA 5, because a major overhaul of the development team may lead to changes to some features already present in the series, which could be a key factor in the sequel's resurgence.Beyond the Robberies: The Creative Investment and Business Overhauls Fans Want in GTA 6

The community currently has the following requests for feature improvements to GTA 6, which will be released on November 19th:

More Story Content

Among games of the same genre, Grand Theft Auto series is most notable for its dual protagonist system, allowing players to switch between controlling Lucia and Jason to experience different perspectives of Vice City storyline in Leonidas. This setting itself offers a wealth of potential for further story development, but currently feels rather thin.

According to statistics, the main story of the previous game, GTA V, took about 32 hours to complete. However, the main story of Red Dead Redemption 2, which was released 8 years ago by the same developer, took more than 50 hours to complete! Although there is only a five-year difference between them, the richness of their storylines is really huge.

Therefore, players are eagerly hoping that Rockstar will enrich the storylines within the bustling streets of Vice City. This could include developing impactful bonds or interactions with either Lucia or Jason, or exploring the consequences of different choices made by the two protagonists when faced with the same decision. Although the game has been updated, the desire to explore more of the main storyline will never disappear!

Expand Some Indoor Space

This suggestion is actually a derivative of the previous one because during the exploration of previous games, many players complained in the community that the buildings in Vice City were completely useless when the protagonist was on the street hiding from enemies or police. Not only could they not be entered, but they also posed a danger of hindering movement.

So they desperately needed Rockstar to open up more indoor spaces to make it easier to complete some game missions. Excitingly, this suggestion has reportedly been accepted by the developers, and it has been revealed that over 70% of the interior space in Grand Theft Auto VI may be accessible! More game space may mean more storylines will unfold here, killing two birds with one stone.GTA 6 Expand Some Indoor Space

Unexpectedly, new requests followed. Some players in the community expressed their desire to add a housing ownership and customization system similar to The Sims to Grand Theft Auto VI, so that Lucia and Jason could have their own little world in this city known for its crime. This might not be adopted, since it's a bit out of character (OOC).

The Diversity of Money-Making Methods

In GTA V and its predecessors, the protagonist, being controlled, primarily earns money through passive business dealings and actively engaging in robberies or completing missions. This is the core gameplay of the series. However, a professional gamer who spends long hours in front of a computer would eventually get bored if they could only rely on these few repetitive methods to earn money.

Given this, it's time for developers to introduce some new ways to make money, such as actively investing the stolen money, or having the banks that were previously robbed launch financial plans specifically for the needs of these protagonists, or even more extreme: directly establishing some public welfare and livelihood facilities to change original character design!

A More Equitable Player Interaction Mechanism

Although Rockstar's marketing for Grand Theft Auto VI has focused on the single-player story mode with two protagonists, some industry sources and hints from executives at its parent company, Take-Two, suggest that this new work will also feature online and multiplayer gameplay.

This means that GTA 6 will also have many in-game missions that require interaction or cooperation with other real players to complete. However, not everyone is friendly. Some malicious players will deliberately harass or hinder the progress of missions, which is completely unfair.

Therefore, players in the community strongly hope that GTA 6 will add a feature to block or directly avoid these malicious players, in order to create a fairer and more harmonious gaming environment for everyone. Of course, the punishment for these malicious players should be very strict, not just a ban.

If possible, EZG GTA 6 Shop highly recommends that Rockstar add IP tracking technology to the latest version of the game. Once a player has been flagged as a malicious player, their IP address will also be flagged, preventing them from creating any subsequent accounts.

Of course, this could give cheaters who use VPNs to change their IP addresses an opportunity, so developers could devise stricter penalties to avoid these problems. The above are some features and content that players want to modify in Grand Theft Auto VI, which is expected to be released on November 19th.

In summary, these changes aren't too difficult to implement. It depends on whether the developers want to continue relying on the success of their predecessor to let GTA 6 live in its shadow, or whether they aspire to create a completely new game with the same or even greater impact! Best of luck with your game!

Why Is GTA 6 Delayed on PC? Rockstar's PS5 Strategy, Pricing Changes and Player Concerns Explained

With the latest official information leaked, the battle for GTA 6 across different gaming platforms has entered a new phase.

GTA 6's current popularity suggests it has the potential to become one of the most anticipated console games of recent years. Sony PlayStation and Rockstar Games have launched a rather unusual marketing campaign, claiming that GTA 6 offers the best experience on PS5.

While not explicitly a monopoly, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick clarified that PC version's delay was purely Rockstar's internal creative and distribution strategy, not due to an exclusive agreement with Sony PlayStation restricting PC launches, though the nature was similar.

Given the extended PC release date, what does this joint statement from Rockstar actually signify?

Technological Barriers?

On one hand, Rockstar points out on its website and other platforms that PS5's DualSense wireless controller and adaptive triggers will provide a better gaming experience in GTA 6, mentioning that GTA 6 also fully utilizes PS5's ultra-fast SSD, allowing players to enjoy extremely fast boot times. These advantages are indeed unavailable on Xbox and PC.

So why was only PC version notified of a delayed release?

Currently, the three most convincing explanations are:

1. Complex PC Configurations

Former Rockstar producer John Ricchio stated in an interview that PS5 and Xbox Series X have completely fixed limits on processor, graphics card, memory, and cooling. The development team for GTA 6 was able to fully utilize the hardware's capabilities.

However, PC market has thousands of CPU, GPU, and driver combinations. Without dedicated time for adaptation, a disastrous optimization failure at launch would be inevitable.

2. Resource Management

Rockstar has always adhered to a quality-first creative strategy. Given the sheer scale of GTA 6, developing versions for three platforms simultaneously would have resulted in incredibly complex debugging work that could have crippled the entire team.

This isn't unfounded; during the development of GTA 5, over 900,000 bugs accumulated.

3. Microtransaction Data

According to the latest leaked internal financial data from Rockstar, PS and Xbox consoles contributed the vast majority of initial game sales and online microtransaction revenue, while PC platform's microtransaction contribution was the lowest among the three platforms at launch.

Based on Rockstar's usual release schedule for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles and PC, GTA 6 is expected to launch on consoles on November 19th of this year, while PC version may not launch until the end of 2027, or even 2028.

Many players are protesting in the community, saying they've already waited so long, and now they have to pay another $600-$900 for a PS5, otherwise they'll have to wait more than a year to play.

Is the Pricing Too High?

Secondly, players are also protesting that GTA 6 is only being released digitally, yet the price is still outrageously high.

  • Standard Edition: $79.99
  • Ultimate Edition: $99.99

GTA 6 is currently officially available for pre-order in digital stores in various regions. Rockstar has broken with traditional game pricing standards, directly raising the price of the base edition by $10.

To encourage players to pre-order, both Standard and Ultimate editions are included in a pre-order bonus:

  • Vintage Vice City Pack: Includes exclusive vehicle skins, character outfits, and limited weapon skins.
  • One month free. GTA+ Membership Subscription: However, this is only available through pre-orders from the official digital store.

Ultimate Edition includes three additional bonuses:

1. Exclusive Vehicles

95 Grotti Cheetahs, 67 Vapid Dominator models, and a Shitzu Squalo.

2. Weapon Expansion

Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers, and exclusive custom weapon skins.

3. Map Assets and Perks

Jason's exclusive safe house vehicle, access to Rideout custom car shop, Sara's exclusive salon customization, and free access to an exclusive tattoo shop and clothing store.

Judging from the included bundles, Ultimate Edition's rewards are indeed more generous, and players who only pre-order the standard edition don't need to worry about significant differences in resources after the game's launch.

Regardless of which version you pre-order, if you want to quickly build your power after the game's launch, you can get what you need in EZG GTA 6 Shop.

Undeserved?

Beyond the complaints over the pre-order pricing, some players also argue that GTA 6's content may be overhyped and question whether it can truly justify its high price tag.

There are still four months until its official release, but if we trace back to the earliest announcement, it was in April 2022 when Rockstar officially acknowledged on social media that GTA 6 was in development. That's four years and three months until now.

Players have been waiting, and aside from a development video clip leaked by a teenage hacker on September 18, 2022, all they've actually received are two trailers.

Based solely on these two short trailers, GTA 6 has been hailed as the greatest game of all time, a game of the century… Is such praise undeserved? Many players, even those with high enthusiasm for the game, are filled with skepticism due to Rockstar's current approach.

On one hand, the official information revealed to players is too little, and the window of opportunity is too long; on the other hand, the content shown in the trailers may not actually appear in GTA 6, given the history of GTA games. This concern was already present in GTA 5.

Such worries aren't unfounded. A former developer warned players that the trailer visuals were meticulously crafted and might not accurately reflect the final gameplay. See, what a survival-conscious warning! If you seriously studied the trailers and had high hopes, you might be in for a disappointment.

Besides the authenticity of the content, GTA 6's signature satirical style might not resonate with the same depth and impact as its predecessors in today's rapidly changing and often absurd world. In short, the current world situation is too absurd for even satire to hold its power.

Regardless, a November 19th release is almost certain. If you're a PS5 or Xbox player, pre-ordering now will ensure you get to play your desired game on time. If you're a PC player, you'll have to wait another year, or even longer. Even with Rockstar's accusations of forcing players to pay twice, GTA 6 remains incredibly popular.

GTA 6 May Not Hit 60 FPS, But Here's Why That Might Be a Good Thing

GTA 6 pre-orders opened on June 25th, and while its official release is still months away, the level of discussion surrounding the game has reached unprecedented heights.

Compared to grand predictions about changing the gaming industry, players are more concerned with practical questions: Why are GTA 6's graphics so stunning? Can it achieve 60 FPS on consoles?

As Rockstar continues to showcase this unprecedented open world, GTA 6 is becoming a major test of the performance limits of current-generation consoles.

30 FPS or 60 FPS?

There has been a huge debate among players about whether GTA 6 should aim for 30 FPS or 60 FPS.

Players who support 30 FPS believe that higher image quality, more realistic lighting and shadows, and a stronger sense of immersion are more important than simply increasing the frame rate.

They believe that as long as the game's animations, controls, and combat system are optimized around 30 FPS, the experience won't be bad, and the cinematic presentation is more in line with the official game style.

Players who support 60 FPS believe that 60 FPS has long been an important standard for modern action games.

With more and more open-world and action games offering performance modes, players have become accustomed to smoother gameplay, so there's no reason for GTA 6 to remain at 30 FPS.

Both viewpoints have merit, but the problem lies in a fundamental difference between GTA 6 and typical open-world games: it's not just about showcasing a beautiful world, but simulating a complex and functioning one.

The Biggest Difference Between GTA 6 and Typical Open-world Games

Previously, some players compared GTA 6 screenshots with other open-world games, suggesting the visual differences weren't as significant as initially thought.

However, closer inspection reveals that the amount of visual information in GTA 6 is completely different.

In a screenshot of a coastal city, players can see not only buildings, roads, and the natural environment but also airplanes in the sky, various boats on the sea, jet skis, and vehicles on a distant bridge. The city in the background features numerous buildings, along with volumetric clouds, complex lighting, and environmental details.

This content is not simply a stacking of textures, but the result of many real-time simulated elements.

This is why some visually stunning games can easily achieve 60 FPS in performance mode, while GTA 6 may need to sacrifice frame rate. The goals are different.

Why Might GTA 6 Not Be Able to Maintain a Stable 60 FPS?

Previously, a technical analysis team discussed GTA 6's performance issues. They believe that even with future official optimizations, 60 FPS may still be a very difficult goal. The reason is not just excessive GPU load, but more importantly, CPU becomes a limiting factor.

Many players believe that simply reducing shadows, textures, lighting, particle effects, or turning off some visual effects can improve the frame rate. However, for a large open-world game like GTA 6, the problem is not so simple.

GPU is responsible for processing the visuals the player sees, including models, textures, lighting, and various visual effects. However, before GPU can render each frame, CPU must process a large amount of game logic and provide instructions to GPU.

Therefore, even with reduced graphics quality, CPU still bears a significant workload in simulating the game. For PS5 and Xbox Series X, which use architectures from six years ago, this is likely the biggest limitation.

GTA 6 faces this problem: it's not simply about making the graphics card render more beautifully, but about making the entire world run more realistically.

Why Might the Developers Have Chosen 30 FPS?

If the developers wanted GTA 6 to reach 60 FPS, they could certainly make optimizations, such as reducing NPC density, decreasing the amount of world interaction, weakening physics effects, or even shrinking the scale of the game simulation.

But doing so might undermine the game's core design philosophy.

The developers' strength has never been simply creating beautiful maps, but creating a detailed world that players can freely explore.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prime example. It didn't pursue an extremely high frame rate, but created a highly immersive experience through complex animations, ecosystems, NPC behavior, and environmental interactions.

If GTA 6 also had such a high density of simulated content, then 30 FPS wouldn't necessarily mean a terrible experience. As long as the animations, driving, shooting, and combat systems are optimized around 30 FPS, it can still provide a very smooth experience on an enormous TV screen and with a controller.

Not to Be Faster, But to Be More Realistic

The biggest challenge for GTA 6 isn't creating a beautiful map, but making the world feel as vibrant as the real world.

Players can drive high-speed sports cars through cities, or travel several kilometers quickly by plane or speedboat. During such high-speed movement, the game still needs to constantly load environments, update NPCs, calculate traffic, and handle various events. This puts enormous strain on current console hardware.

Therefore, GTA 6's final decision to lock in 30 FPS doesn't necessarily indicate a lack of technology; rather, it may mean that the developers chose to invest performance resources in world simulation, AI, physics systems, and environmental details.

If the developers can ultimately create a more complex and realistic open world than Red Dead Redemption 2, then even at only 30 FPS, it could still become one of the most technologically impressive games of this generation.

GTA 6 Trailer 3 Speculation Grows After Rockstar's Mysterious July 6 Post

Pre-orders for GTA 6 are now open, with an official release date of November 19th. For players eagerly awaiting the release date of Trailer 3, the official social media activity has stirred up a storm.

On July 6th, the official Rockstar Games account retweeted a post from Circle Loco Records. While this content itself appears to be just a regular music promotion, the timing, linked to July 10th, has led many players to speculate that it might be a signal from the official for the next phase of GTA 6's promotional activities.

Of course, the official release date for Trailer 3 has not been officially confirmed, and any related speculation is merely player conjecture based on past promotional patterns.

However, considering the relationship between the official account and Circle Loco Records, and GTA 6's previous marketing methods, this retweet has certainly sparked considerable speculation among players.

What Does the Retweeted Tweet Mean?

The content retweeted by the official account came from Circle Loco Records, and the link in the tweet leads to the record label's platform page.

On its own, this appears to be a typical music promotion. However, Circle Loco Records is not an unrelated third-party music label.

The label was jointly established by the electronic music brand CircoLoco and  GTA team, with their collaboration dating back to 2021.

Circle Loco Records primarily focuses on genres such as underground house and electronic music, leveraging GTA team's influence in the gaming entertainment field to connect music content with game culture.

Because of this special relationship, GTA team's proactive reposting of Circle Loco Records' promotional content has led players to believe it may contain more information.

Especially in GTA series, music has always held a crucial position. From the radio system to game trailers, music has become a vital tool for GTA team to shape the game world.

Music May Be a Key Clue

Looking back at the two previously released GTA 6 trailers, it's clear that GTA team has always placed great emphasis on music selection.

  • Trailer 1 used Tom Petty's Love Is a Long Road, a song with a distinct road trip feel and nostalgic vibe, echoing Florida theme and the free-spirited travel atmosphere depicted in the game.
  • Trailer 2 used Hot Together, further emphasizing the game's vibrant urban life, party culture, and Miami-style tropical atmosphere.

This has led players to speculate that if Trailer 3 continues to use official music, Circle Loco Records' tracks might be used as background music.

After all, GTA 6's story is highly relevant to Miami's culture, and electronic, house, and retro dance music are integral parts of South Florida's nightlife.

From a stylistic perspective, Circle Loco Records' music direction does indeed align to some extent with the worldview GTA 6 might present.

Therefore, some players believe that Circle Loco Records' July 10th event might not just be a simple music promotion, but could be connected to the next phase of the official promotional plan.

The official may be using a music collaboration to pave the way for future promotional content.

Why July 10th?

Besides Circle Loco Records activity, the date July 10th itself has become a focus of discussion.

Some players have noticed that Circle Loco Records' events are scheduled around this date, and the official promotional rhythm has led players to believe that July might be a window for new GTA 6 content announcements.

In the past, the official usually chooses weekdays like Tuesdays or Thursdays to announce major promotional content.

For example, the release dates of GTA 6 Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 both align with the official's preferred promotional rhythm.

However, the official isn't completely immune to releasing information on Fridays. In recent years, the company has also used Fridays to release news articles, announcements, or community information to generate buzz for upcoming events.

Therefore, if new GTA 6-related news emerges on July 10th, it wouldn't be entirely out of character for the official.

A popular speculation among players is that Circle Loco Records might release new music on July 10th, and GTA 6 Trailer 3 might be announced a few days later, or even the following week.

GTA 6 Promotional Campaign is Entering Next Phase

Besides the music speculation, several factors lead players to believe that Trailer 3 might not be far off.

First, pre-orders for GTA 6 have already begun, officially entering the commercial promotion phase. For the developers, continuously releasing new information is crucial to maintaining player and market attention.

Second, with the official release date approaching, player expectations for new characters, maps, gameplay, and story content are constantly increasing.

Furthermore, Take-Two Interactive plans to hold an investor conference in early August. In this context, releasing new promotional content in advance would help demonstrate the market buzz surrounding GTA 6 and further boost confidence in the game's sales performance.

However, compared to other game developers who frequently announce development progress, the official developers prefer to release important content all at once after thorough preparation. Therefore, even with several potential clues, it cannot be definitively proven that Trailer 3 will be released soon.

If the official is preparing for the next round of promotional activities, then the long-awaited Trailer 3 may not be far from being revealed.

If you've pre-ordered GTA 6 and are worried about not having enough resources to start the game, check out our GTA 6 Store. We offer currency and various services to help you have enough resources for a great gaming experience.

Perhaps Trailer 3 will be released in July. Let's wait and see!

GTA 6 Pre-Order Controversies Explained: No Physical Disc and $100 Ultimate Edition

On June 25, 2026, pre-orders for GTA 6 officially opened. As a sequel to a renowned game, it garnered significant attention from players worldwide even before the pre-orders began.

However, this highly anticipated pre-order event ironically sparked discontent among some players, primarily regarding two aspects: the physical edition only included a download code and no disc, and $100 Ultimate Edition was problematic.

So, why are players dissatisfied? What intentions does this reflect in the developer's decision? I will provide a detailed analysis.

Broken Promise of Physical Edition

Let's look at the first controversy. To understand this issue, we need to understand the background.

Controversy Background

When GTA 6 pre-order page went live globally, countless players excitedly opened the pre-order page.

But soon, an announcement cast a shadow over this anticipation: players who opted for the physical edition would receive a box containing only a digital download code, without the game disc. For veteran gamers who have been playing since PlayStation 2 era, this is nothing short of a betrayal.

Furthermore, physical copies of games are often easier for players to borrow and trade, leading to a massive amount of secondhand game time. However, with the purely digital download code model, players will lose this right.

What angers players most is that Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated in an interview that they wouldn't only release digital versions of games, yet the physical version of GTA 6 appears in this fraudulent form.

In response, some independent retailers have chosen to protest through action.

Video Games Plus in Toronto, Canada, explicitly stated that it "will not sell physical products containing only digital download codes"; Lootbox Gaming in Delaware, USA, also refused to list it; and PNP Games in Winnipeg even launched a petition urging Take-Two to release a version including a physical disc.

Gradient Disappearance of Physical Games

However, GTA 6's decision is not an isolated case. According to market research data, in US, over half of Xbox Series consoles and over a quarter of PS5 consoles no longer come with disc drives, as digital sales now account for the vast majority of game revenue.

In the same week that pre-orders opened, Sony announced it would stop producing physical discs for new games on PlayStation platform in January 2028.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that Microsoft was testing a disc-to-digital feature called Positron for its next-generation console, Project Helix, allowing players to convert physical discs into digital redemption codes.

This shows that the entire gaming market is gradually shifting towards selling games using digital codes rather than physical copies. This trend is likely a deliberate attempt by game developers to combat the used physical game market.

However, not only does the used game market created by physical games significantly promote game distribution, but physical games themselves also hold high collectible value for many game enthusiasts. Therefore, this practice is bound to face widespread resistance.

Expensive Ultimate Edition

The second controversy mainly concerns the pre-order of Ultimate Edition of GTA 6.

Controversy Background

On June 25, 2026, the developer released pre-orders for GTA 6 on major retail websites. The pre-orders were divided into two versions: Standard Edition, priced at $79.99, and Ultimate Edition, priced at $99.99.

The biggest difference between the two versions lies in Ultimate Edition. Players can access and purchase items from five in-game stores.

These are: Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's (for vehicle customization), Sara's Unisex Salon (for changing character hairstyles and makeup), Stock 305 (for acquiring streetwear), and Electric Fang Tattoo (for tattoos).

In addition, Ultimate Edition includes several exclusive vehicles, exclusive weapon skins, and Classic Car Collection side missions.

Controversy Points

There is controversy among players regarding the content and pricing of Ultimate Edition. Some players feel they've spent an extra $20 for only minor, insignificant cosmetic changes to characters or vehicles.

Of course, many players argue that GTA 6's Ultimate Edition content is similar to traditional DLC, as it doesn't directly impact the core gameplay.

Furthermore, Red Dead Redemption II's Ultimate Edition features similar exclusive missions, yet most players were unaware of their existence and still progressed smoothly.

However, opponents argue that traditional DLC provides additional content on top of the full game. GTA 6, on the other hand, simply transfers existing shops and features from the base game to Ultimate Edition.

This means that players of Standard Edition aren't getting the "complete game", but rather "basic game".

When a player drives through Leonidas and sees a Rideout Customs sign but can't enter, this feeling of being "locked out" is logically no different from Paywalls prevalent in free-to-play mobile games.

In fact, the pricing of GTA 6 Standard Edition already makes it the second AAA title after Mario Kart World to break $70 industry benchmark. This price point itself isn't cheap.

The more far-reaching impact of the developer's actions is that it may be testing player tolerance for this approach. If GTA 6 is successful, other developers will inevitably follow suit, indirectly raising the prices of all games.

This concludes the recent controversy surrounding GTA 6's pre-order information. However, despite the controversy, countless players continue to eagerly await the game's official release.

If you've also pre-ordered the game, consider following EZG GTA 6 Store. We offer in-game currency and various services after the game's official launch to help you quickly enhance your character's strength.

The game is expected to officially launch on November 19th of this year, while PC version may launch in 2027. Let's look forward to the game's official release!

GTA 6 World Design May Be Rockstar's Most Advanced Open World System Yet

GTA 6 pre-orders opened on June 25th, and most GTA enthusiasts are likely already aware of it.

According to currently available information, the map size of GTA 6 is approximately 2.1 times that of GTA 5. However, based on the official open-world design philosophy, a growing body of analysis suggests that the perceived map size in GTA 6 during actual gameplay may far exceed this figure, potentially approaching five times the perceived size.

The key to this difference lies not in the map's actual area, but in how the developers use environmental design, path structures, and dynamic event systems to create the illusion of a larger world for players as they move through the map.

Florida-inspired Leonida

GTA 6's story takes place in Leonida, based in Florida, USA. Unlike Los Santos in GTA 5, this region features a flatter terrain with less pronounced mountain ranges.

Intuitively, this design might seem to reduce the map's depth, but it actually enhances the sense of open-world expansiveness. Because players cannot quickly determine the map's end using distant mountains or terrain boundaries, the feeling of being restricted by the map is visually reduced.

In contrast, the mountainous and coastal structures of GTA 5 make players more aware of boundaries, which is one reason some players felt its open world lacked a sense of scale in later stages.

Loading Corridors

The most crucial concept in this analysis is loading corridors.

These designs are typically hidden within bridges, narrow roads, archipelago connections, or complex terrain. Their core function is to naturally slow down the player's movement and provide time for the game world to load.

In GTA 6, the most typical example is probably Leonida Keys archipelago. Players must cross bridges and winding routes to reach the main city, Vice City. This structure essentially lengthens the movement path while allowing the system to seamlessly load denser urban content.

Similar designs exist in GTA 5, but are more direct. For example, the highway system that encircles the map, while improving movement efficiency, also causes players to reach their destinations too quickly, weakening the sense of spatial distance.

In GTA 6, this implicit slowing mechanism will be embedded more frequently and naturally into the entire map structure.

Road Design

Besides the loading structure, road design itself is a key factor influencing map size perception.

GTA 5's highway system was overly linear, allowing players to quickly traverse the map and reducing exploration time. GTA 6, however, is expected to employ a more complex road network, using swamps, rivers, and islands to restrict players' straight-line movement.

For example, Grass Rivers will resemble the real-world Everglades; different terrain types may require specific vehicles, naturally increasing travel time.

Regional Diversity Inspired

Another major way GTA 6 enhances the perceived scale is through regional diversity, a feature clearly inherited from Red Dead Redemption 2.

The known world of Leonida currently comprises several distinctly different areas, such as:

  • Vice City (neon-lit urban core)
  • Leonida Keys (resort islands)
  • Grass Rivers (wetlands and swamps)
  • Port Gelhorn (declining tourist city)
  • Ambrosia (a mixed industrial and agricultural area)

These areas not only differ greatly in visual style but can also be completely different in weather, NPC behavior, and random events.

This design aims to create the illusion of entering another world for players when entering new areas, thus enhancing the sense of hierarchy in the open world.

Random Events

Another key factor contributing to GTA 6 feeling bigger than GTA 5 is the density of random events.

GTA 5 has approximately 60 random events, while Red Dead Redemption 2 expanded to 180+. According to early leaks, GTA 6 may have over 1,300 world interaction events.

This means events will constantly interrupt players during their movement, such as NPC interactions, sudden conflicts, or environmentally triggered events.

The focus of this design isn't on rewards, but on altering the pace of movement, making the journey "from A to B" no longer a straight line, but a constantly changing experience path.

Underwater Exploration and Hidden Map

Besides land-based content, GTA 6's ocean and underwater systems are also expected to expand significantly.

The vast ocean surrounding Leonida Keys, along with its scattered island structures, provides ample space for diving, shipwreck exploration, and hidden treasure.

Furthermore, some analyses even suggest the existence of undisclosed areas in the northern part of the map, such as the expanded state area hinted at by Gloriana symbol. If true, the actual explorable area in GTA 6 could be much larger than currently shown.

GTA 6's map size isn't solely determined by its actual area, but is shaped by multiple systems. Therefore, even if the map is only about 2.1 times larger than GTA 5, players may experience an open-world experience several times larger in actual gameplay.

GTA 6 will be officially released in November. If you're worried about running out of resources early in the game, follow our GTA 6 Store, which offers a wealth of game resources to help you progress more smoothly in the initial stages.

Besides environment design, GTA 6 may also feature technological upgrades such as more efficient scene streaming and higher NPC density, reducing loading interruptions, making exploration more continuous, and improving the overall macro-level experience without expanding the map size.

Grand Theft Auto VI New Gameplay Explained: Weapon Storage, Fencing System, Social Media & More

Finally, on June 25th, Grand Theft Auto VI was available for pre-order! Two versions are available: Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. The difference lies in the number of gameplay features.

Along with the pre-orders were dozens of screenshots of GTA 6 and a wealth of game information. Since the release of the two GTA 6 trailers, players have speculated about its gameplay, and now it seems some of these speculations may be true.

Next, I will analyze this information and introduce the new gameplay revealed:

Weapon Locker

In GTA 5 and previous titles, players could carry all unlocked weapons and switch between them at any time via a weapon wheel. This design allowed players to easily use unlocked weapons, but sacrificed realism and strategy.

The keyword "Weapon Locker" appears multiple times in GTA 6 pre-order information. For example, Paradise Garage system is labeled "Equipped with a weapon locker for storing stolen items to be sold".

The common message conveyed by these statements is that players will no longer be able to carry all their weapons. Instead, the game will adopt a limited weapon carrying system similar to RDR 2 - in which characters could only carry two long weapons and two pistols, with other weapons stored in horses or storage locations.

This change means that GTA 6's mission design will place greater emphasis on pre-battle planning. Players will need to select appropriate equipment based on the mission type before setting out, rather than drawing any weapon at any time during combat.

Simultaneously, vehicle trunks may become mobile weapon storage locations. If separated from their vehicles during combat, players' firepower choices will be significantly limited, adding to the challenge of combat.

Fencing Mechanism and Safe Houses

The terms "fencing", "contraband", and "stolen goods" appear repeatedly in GTA 6 pre-sale information.

The garage mentioned earlier also mentions "stolen goods awaiting disposal"; the description of a gang outpost mission shown in the pre-sale information also mentions that players can "loot special items and contraband".

All this information confirms that GTA 6 will introduce a stolen goods disposal mechanism similar to RDR 2. This means that after stealing goods, you'll need to find a place to hide them, then find a suitable buyer to sell them to obtain funds.

However, RDR 2's stolen goods were mainly limited to horses and carriages, and were relatively small in scale. As a "crime simulator" game, GTA series' stolen goods disposal system could cover a variety of types, including vehicles, weapons, drugs, and valuables.

Therefore, this system could create a complete illegal economy within the game, similar to the drug trafficking system in GTA: Chinatown Wars.

Furthermore, much information confirms the existence of Jason's Safehouse, with accompanying vehicles including Dinka Enduro motorcycle and Crest Kayak kayak.

This means that Safehouse will not only be a save and change location but could also become a comprehensive hub for vehicle storage, weapon management, and stolen goods storage.

Shop System

If you're playing GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, you can also find five exclusive shops available only to Ultimate Edition players. The first shop is Rideout Customs, a vehicle customization shop. Here, you can transform your vehicle into a work of art with detailed interiors, exquisite wheels, and unique designs.

The second shop, One-Eyed Willie's, and the third, Sara's Unisex Salon, both offer hand-painted designs, hair styling, facial hair removal, makeup, and nail products.

This confirms the existence of a makeup system in GTA 6, allowing players to customize Jason and Lucia to their liking, and perhaps even give them extravagant manicures.

The fourth shop, Stock 305, offers unique streetwear. I believe that once GTA 6 officially launches, player forums will be filled with outfit sharing.

The most anticipated shop is the fifth - Electric Fang Tattoo - which will feature over 50 tattoos designed by the artist team FAILE. Many players are already curious about the designs.

While this feature has been criticized by some players as "locking in features that should belong to the core game for a fee", it has sparked some controversy.

However, the very existence of these shops confirms that GTA 6 will have a more comprehensive character customization system than its predecessors - including clothing, hairstyles, makeup, nail art, tattoos, and other multi-layered appearance modifications.

Social Networking System

GTA series has always been adept at satirizing real-world society, and GTA 6 extends this tradition to the virtual realm of digital life.

A retailer's pre-sale page mentions that GTA 6 will have an integrated social networking system, allowing players to watch videos, follow influencers, and discover hidden side missions via in-game phones.

This social networking system may include parodies of real-world social networking platforms and may even allow players to earn in-game currency by posting content. This would greatly enhance the realism and consistency of the game world.

Leaked information also suggests that social networks may influence the in-game bounty system. If NPCs witness players committing crimes and choose to "livestream" or "post" on social networks instead of directly reporting them to the police, the game's pursuit and escape logic will become extremely diverse.

Players may not only have to deal with the police but also the chain reaction of online public opinion.

That concludes the latest information on Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay. The game is expected to officially launch in November. If you're worried about lacking resources in the early stages of the game, you can follow our GTA 6 Store, where you'll find everything you need.

In addition to the above, the pre-order information also reveals more gameplay details, such as more realistic NPC behavior, a dynamic weather system, and various outdoor activities. I believe players are already eager to play the game.
