Helldivers 2 June Leaks Hint At New Warbond, Warhammer 40K Crossover And Level Cap Increase

This article presents a Helldivers 2 player's predictions for new content in June, including a new Warbond, collaborations, Super Destroyer customization features, an increased level cap, and more.

Jun 03, 2026 Author: EZG

Recently, some Helldivers 2 players, using data mining and other methods combined with real-world scenarios, have predicted a series of major content releases for the game.

These predictions include not only a new Warbond, but also new collaborations, Super Destroyer customization feature, and an increased level cap.

This text will detail these predictions. However, these are just speculations and not official announcements from publisher, so they should only be considered as reference.Helldivers 2 June Leaks Hint At New Warbond, Warhammer 40K Crossover And Level Cap Increase

Collaboration

One of the most discussed topics in Helldivers 2 player community recently has been a potential crossover between Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 40,000. A half-true, half-false rumor circulates in the community claiming that a collaboration is imminent.

Warhammer 40,000 is a turn-based board game set in a distant, dark future. Specifically, the game is set in 41st millennium after the decline of human civilization, where the galaxy is engulfed in endless war, filled with alien monsters, chaotic demons, and rebellious forces.

One of the game's most iconic weapons is Chainsword. It's a chainsaw-like sword, a standard weapon for many Space Marines and Imperial commissars in the game's setting, the human Empire.

Considering the settings of the two games, this collaboration is indeed a perfect fit - not only do they share similar post-apocalyptic backgrounds, but Illuminate in Helldivers 2 also bears a striking resemblance to Aeldari using Chainsword in Warhammer 40,000.

Even more interestingly, data miners discovered a model outline of Chainsword in Helldivers 2 files; the publisher also stated on Discord that the team "won't rest" until some form of Chainsword is added to game. This adds some possibility to this seemingly unfounded collaboration rumor.

New Warbond

According to this player's prediction, the biggest new content for Helldivers 2 in June will be the new Warbond. In this Warbond, players will have the opportunity to obtain brand-new, cool equipment, items, and cosmetics.

Based on data mining, the next Warbond update may include the following:

  • Two fast reconnaissance vehicle variants: These are brand-new ground vehicles that will enhance player speed and mobility, allowing players to more skillfully evade or pursue enemies across the map.
  • Hyena Sniper Rifle: This name is inaccurate and is merely speculation. However, it will undoubtedly be a precision-focused weapon, with accuracy that could surprise players. However, for game balance, this gun will likely have some noticeable weaknesses.
  • New laser weapons: Currently, the game already features many laser-based weapons, and players have shown great enthusiasm for them. Therefore, the new Warbond is likely to further expand the laser weapon arsenal.
  • Electrified landmark grenade: A brand-new throwable explosive that may possess electromagnetic effects. This means its explosion is not a traditional blast but an electromagnetic one, potentially dealing fatal damage to certain enemies.

The addition of these items will further enrich players' tactical options, especially allowing for more flexible responses when facing different types of enemies.

While this is just speculation, given that the game last released Warbond a considerable amount of time ago, releasing a new Warbond in June or July is entirely reasonable.

Note that you'll need to prepare sufficient Super Credits in advance to participate in the new Warbond, as accumulating Super Credits takes a significant amount of time.

Of course, you can directly buy Helldivers 2 Super Credits from EZG.com, and we'll deliver cheap Super Credits to your inventory as quickly as possible.

Super Destroyer Customization

Currently, Super Destroyer gameplay in Helldivers 2 primarily revolves around the upgrade system. Players can use materials to upgrade various attributes of Super Destroyer, increasing ammunition capacity, deployment speed, and more.

However, data miners have discovered an early design diagram of Super Destroyer in game files.

Super Destroyer in the diagram is drastically different from the current version: it has a mech customization bay on the right, a wardrobe displaying armor on the left, strategic equipment launchers on its body, and four areas for customizing equipment configurations.

This information suggests that the developers initially planned to allow players to deeply customize their Super Destroyer, but these features are not currently implemented in the game. Therefore, the future Super Destroyer system is likely to be modified in this direction.

Besides functional modifications, the appearance of Super Destroyer may also be customizable by players.

Data mining shows that in the future, players will be able to customize its overall primary color scheme, interior primary color scheme, overall secondary color scheme, flag colors, and special textures.

If the developers add appearance customization to Super Destroyer system, then Super Destroyer will truly become a "home," where players can freely create their own resting place.

Level Cap Increase

Currently, the maximum level in Helldivers 2 is 150, a level cap that hasn't changed for a long time, causing some veteran players to feel bored with the game.

Back in May, the developers publicly stated that they planned to further increase this level cap to 200 or even 300 in the future. Recently, data miners discovered that the level cap in the game's application programming interface has already been expanded to level 200.

This might be a signal - that the game's level cap will be raised to 200 in June or July. For veteran players who have already reached the level cap and have excess resources, this is undoubtedly good news, as a new level cap means new challenges and room for growth.

These are some of the recent speculations from players regarding new content for Helldivers 2 in June. Some of them might come true, while others may just be wishful thinking.

In any case, we hope the developers will bring us more interesting gameplay.
