Global MapleStory Classic World Founder's Access officially opened on October 6, allowing players to enter the game up to two weeks early.
The official team has also released some additional details. Not all content is currently available, and some features will not open to players until October 21. Let's take a look at the specific details of Founder's Access.

How To Enter MapleStory Classic World?
Players who are eligible to access MSCW can log in directly through Nexon Launcher or download and play the game through Steam. However, when launching the game for the first time, you will need to follow the prompts to log in to or link a Nexon account.
The game supports both Windows and Mac, and English and Spanish remain available. The default key settings can be switched between Classic Style and Modern Style.
Modern Style also supports WASD movement. Xbox and PlayStation controllers are also fully supported.
Founder's Package
Some new players may not know how to gain early access, which is where the official Founder's Packages come in.
The rewards from these Packages are mainly cosmetic items, such as hats, effects, and Outfit Sets. They do not provide any stats or combat bonuses, and they also allow eligible players to enter the game early. Founder's Package availability currently ends on October 14, 2026.
The official team has prepared three Founder's Packages:
- Snail Package ($30)
- Orange Mushroom Package ($60)
- Zakum Package ($80)
It is important to note that Snail Package does not provide early access. You will still have to wait until October 21, while only the other two Packages provide two weeks of early access.

Available Classes And Areas
You can create a Beginner and advance into one of four classic classes: Warrior, Magician, Bowman, or Thief.
Each account can have up to 3 characters, and deleting a character comes with a waiting period, usually 24 hours. Your character can make the first job advancement at Lv. 10 and the second job advancement at Lv. 30. There is currently no third job advancement, and the current level cap is Lv. 100.
All characters begin on Maple Island before traveling to Victoria Island.
Forgotten Hollow will not be available during Founder's Access. The official team plans to add it later, and it will not necessarily be held back until the grand launch. The area may be redesigned or adjusted before it becomes available.
Bosses
Founder's Access version will introduce 5 field bosses for players to challenge. The specific bosses are:
- Mano: Lv. 20
- Mushmom: Lv. 40
- Shade: Lv. 48
- Zombie Mushmom: Lv. 55
- Jr. Balrog: Lv. 80
Shade is a new addition that did not appear in the closed online test.
Quests
Citizenship is a town resident progression system. During Founder's Access, characters who reach Lv. 12 can join either Henesys or Kerning City, complete town quests to earn Contribution, and increase their Citizenship Grade.
You can accept resident quests through Community Board. Completing these quests rewards XP, MSCW Mesos, consumables, and other items, so progressing through the system early is recommended.
The game will feature daily and weekly tasks that can increase your Citizenship Grade and provide discounts. These include discounts related to Storage Keepers, special items from Local Stores, discounts at General Stores, and more.
Only the existing Party Quests will be available for now. As with the previous Closed Online Test, no new Party Quests will be added.
In addition, accounts that completed A Strange and Familiar Wood and Beyond the Unknown quests during the closed online test can claim Classic Beginner Label Chat Ring when the game officially launches on October 21.
Founder's First Step
The official team appears to have responded to player feedback that Founder's Packages did not offer enough content by introducing a new Founder's Access event.
From October 6 to October 20, a separate login event called Founder's First Step will be available. After reaching Lv. 10, players can speak with Maple Administrator in Henesys to accept the event and complete one login each day.
Checking in increments your account's total count by one; the sequence continues even if you miss a day. Each account can claim the rewards for a specific check-in day only once.
- Day 1: 5,000 Leaf Points Coupon, 5 Megaphones, 3 Super Megaphones, 3 Atmospheric Effect Boxes, 30 Red Potions, 30 Blue Potions
- Day 2–7: 1,000 Leaf Points Coupon, 10 Red Potions, 10 Blue Potions each day
- Day 8–14: 3 Megaphones, 1 Atmospheric Effect Box each day
Leaf Points are the dedicated Cash Shop currency for Classic World. They function as points that can be used for Cash Shop items rather than event tokens that are specifically used in a separate reward exchange shop.
You can use them to redeem cosmetic items such as outfits, hairstyles, pets, and other appearance-related items. However, some items currently require NX and cannot be obtained with Leaf Points.
All packages and Cash Shop content are purely cosmetic. They provide no stat bonuses and do not offer XP or progression-boosting items.
GM Event System
A total of 8 GM Events will be held during Founder's Access, with 4 different event types:
- Physical Fitness Challenge
- Ola Ola/Up and Up
- Coconut Harvest
- Monster Invasion
The first three events will provide Scroll of Secrets, while Monster Invasion will drop Mesos and items.
If you have participated in a GM Event within the past 24 hours or already have a Scroll of Secrets, you cannot participate again.
That covers the full MapleStory Classic World Founder's Access content. If you are still deciding whether to enter early, you can first watch other streamers' livestreams or videos before deciding whether early access is right for you.
