MLB The Show 25 New 11 Diamond Players: How Much Have They Increased In Value?

After the May 23 update, 11 cards in MLB The Show 25 were upgraded from gold to diamond, and their values also increased significantly, currently ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 stubs.

May 27, 2025 Author: EZG

MLB The Show 25 player ratings are not static. Every once in a while, the developers will adjust the player’s score up or down, or even upgrade gold cards to Diamond cards. Every player whose OVR is increased will have a higher value in the free market, and betting on which players will get the increase and making a profit is also one of the fun things for players.

In the latest update, 11 players have been upgraded to gold cards. Let’s have a look at their changes.

1. Cal Raleigh (86 OVR)

MLB The Show 25 Top 10 Balanced Switch-Hitter: What Are Their Batting Statistics?

In MLB The Show 25, the batsman is a very important part of the offense. In the game, it is not only the overall rating that determines the strength of the batsman, but also the various attributes of the batsman and the way the opponent pitches.

Just like there are left-handed and right-handed pitchers, batsmen also have their own dominant hand. Some batsmen can handle pitches from both sides and can switch flexibly with their left and right hands, and these batsmen are switch-hitters. If your team has such a batsman, you don’t have to adjust your team frequently.

  • Bunt: 69
  • Drag Bunt: 66
  • Durability: 85

This card was officially launched on May 23 and is from Color Storm series. Xavier Edwards is the shortstop and second baseman of Marlins. His contact left and right attributes are at the top level of the game, and his speed, stolen bases and base running are also at the best level.

The weakness of this card is that its power attribute is relatively low, but he is very balanced in other aspects and it is not difficult to get. You only need to complete the Marlins’ mission to get this card, and no MLB The Show 25 stubs are required.

No.2 99 OVR Carlos Beltran Signature

  • Bunt: 57
  • Drag Bunt: 50
  • Durability: 99

You can tell from the overall rating that he is very strong. Most of the data of 99 OVR Carlos Beltran is better than Xavier Edwards. The reason he is placed in the second place is that it is more difficult to get.

He is the top-ranked center fielder, right fielder and designated hitter in MLB 25. You need to complete All Live Collection quest to get this card, which will consume a lot of your MLB 25 stubs.

  • Bunt: 40
  • Drag Bunt: 25
  • Durability: 94

92 OVR Luis Rengifo was officially launched on May 15th. His batting attributes are already very good. If it is upgraded by Pitcher Captain, then this card will have no weaknesses.

This card is currently worth around 92,000 stubs. This is because he can be the second baseman, third baseman, shortstop, and left and right outfielder in your team, and it is a very flexible and versatile card.

  • Power Left: 32

  • Durability: 90

81 OVR Geraldo Perdomo’s attributes don’t seem to be very good, but as a switch-hitter, Geraldo Perdomo’s data is very balanced and can play as a shortstop, second baseman and third baseman.

The way to get it is also easy. You only need 800 stubs to get this card, and he can get the bonus of both Hitter Captain and Pitcher Captain.

  • Vision: 87
  • Discipline: 85
  • Clutch: 66
  • Bunt: 35
  • Drag Bunt: 25
  • Durability: 97

The reason why the card is placed at Rank 7, it is more difficult to get than All-Star Chipper Jones.

No.8 90 OVR Ted Simmons Awards

  • Durability 94

90 OVR Ted Simmons has two good hitting attributes, but his power is slightly lacking in comparison. Ted Simmons can help you defend as a left fielder, but his speed attribute is very poor. Which Players Are Worth Paying Attention To?

The May 23 player update has influenced the values of many players. This change is good for players who are always ready to trade players for MLB The Show 25 stubs.

By signing new players and putting old players back on the market, some players with a careful mind can always profit from it. So let’s see which players are most worthy of attention.

88 OVR Live Tarik Skubal

  • Stamina: 85
  • H/9: 81
  • K/9: 71
  • BB/9: 88
  • HR/9: 79
  • Pitch Clutch: 82
  • Control: 83
  • Velocity: 99
  • Break: 71

First up is Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal, who has been a very worthy investment card over the past month, with his value maintaining a steady upward trend, up about 60%.

Now he is showing a downward trend, and 50,000 stubs is about the limit of this card. If you hoarded him in advance, you’d better sell them now.

87 OVR Live Zack Wheeler

  • Stamina: 90
  • H/9: 83
  • K/9: 72
  • BB/9: 81
  • HR/9: 74
  • Pitch Clutch: 81
  • Control: 79
  • Velocity: 96
  • Break: 75

Zack Wheeler is another card worth selling right now. Although he is still trending up, he is almost doubled compared to his value on May 17. You know that every card will not be worth more than a certain amount.

His current value is around 16,000 stubs. If you are greedy enough, you can wait until 20,000 stubs before selling him.

87 OVR Live Kyle Tucker

  • Contact Right: 84
  • Contact Left: 76
  • Power Right: 88
  • Power Left: 82
  • Vision: 81
  • Discipline: 96
  • Clutch: 99
  • Bunt: 35
  • Drag Bunt: 25
  • Durability: 92

If you have this card, don’t expect much from it and sell it now. The value of this card has been falling for a month, and what’s worse is that there is almost no sign of it rising. On May 6, you could still exchange it for about 40,000 stubs, but after the May 23 update, you can only exchange it for half of that. You’d better sell it now to avoid losing more money.

85 OVR Live Jacob deGrom

  • Stamina: 80
  • H/9: 77
  • K/9: 78
  • BB/9: 76
  • HR/9: 59
  • Pitch Clutch: 85
  • Control: 82
  • Velocity: 90
  • Break: 75

Although this card has average stats, its value is rising healthily, and it is not clear where its ceiling is. Jacob deGrom is a member of May 23 model update player, and his value may continue to rise for a while. This card is worth investing in.

85 OVR Live Pete Alonso

  • Contact Right: 73
  • Contact Left: 70
  • Power Right: 90
  • Power Left: 95
  • Vision: 66
  • Discipline: 80
  • Clutch: 70
  • Bunt: 35
  • Drag Bunt: 25
  • Durability: 98

Pete Alonso is in a very similar situation to Jacob deGrom, and they are both one of the crazy players worth investing in. Pete Alonso’s value has increased by 30% in the past 24 hours, which is even more amazing than Jacob deGrom.

84 OVR Joe Ryan Live

  • Stamina: 83
  • H/9: 74
  • K/9: 69
  • BB/9: 89
  • HR/9: 52
  • Pitch Clutch: 59
  • Control: 66
  • Velocity: 85
  • Break: 72

Joe Ryan is also a worthy investment. Although this update does not have a big impact on him, his value has been rising during this period. I suggest you invest in him now and sell him when his value rises to around 3700 stubs.

The above are some of the players worth investing and selling after May 23 update. As long as you keep an eye on this information, you can easily get a lot of stubs.

MICO Profit Model: Stranger Social Networking Has Infinite Potential

In recent years, the development of global network technology has enabled people of different languages and skin colors around the world to gradually come into contact. Entertainment and communication methods, such as live broadcasts and short videos have gradually become part of the daily lives of various users.

In this process, the social platform software of various technology giants has made significant contributions. Apps such as TikTok and Instagram have gradually occupied the global market. After years of operation, MICO has gradually become mainstream in markets such as Northeast Africa, Southeast Asia, North America, Japan, and South Korea.

MICO’s User Market

In the acquaintance social networking field, apps such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter have long occupied the market, and it is difficult for other companies to get a share of it. However, MICO’s developers believe that the stranger social networking market is still to be explored.

MICO has an “interest-based intelligent social recommendation system” with functions such as global roaming, real-time translation, and sliding matching. Subsequently, MICO has gradually connected to pan-entertainment elements such as short videos and games. At present, the number of users it has accumulated has exceeded 100 million, covering more than 100 countries and regions around the world, and the number of users is still growing.

According to App Annie data, MICO once ranked first in App Store social download list in 71 countries and regions around the world, and ranked in the top ten in the Google Play social download list in 82 countries and regions.

MICO’s Profit Method

In addition to the number of users and the scale of growth, MICO’s monetization ability is also worth discussing. In the three years from 2017 to 2019, MICO’s revenue had an annual compound growth rate of 157.6%.

It is reported that, in 2014, MICO’s monetization channels were mainly membership subscriptions and advertising. Subsequently, with the enrichment of pan-entertainment elements, MICO has more abundant monetization methods, among which short videos and live broadcasts bring considerable income. Users can reward anchors or other users through MICO Top Up.

MICO has been particularly favored by users in Middle East. From 2014 to the present, MICO has accumulated tens of millions of users in the region, and has also been on the top 3 recommended on the homepage of Middle East App Store, which means that users in Middle East widely recognize MICO.

Although MICO still has room for growth, its competitors are also eyeing it. MICO needs to adjust its business strategy based on its previous experience in market development and the customs and methods of different countries and regions.

Madden NFL 26 (5 Quality Of Life Changes): Why Are These Features Urgently Needed In The Game?

Dear American football fans, this year’s EA Sports Madden NFL 26 has been confirmed to be officially released on August 14. There will be multiple versions at that time, and players can pre-order to get different rewards for the latest work in the series. Of course, if you pre-order a higher version, you can also experience it 3 days in advance on August 11.

According to the developer, this year’s Madden 26 brings more new changes, whether it is a higher-level coach, or a high degree of authenticity of QB, or even explosive gameplay, it will bring surprises to players and allow players to create their own football stories more freely.

However, we still need to wait for a while to get confirmation about Madden 26, especially before they start the open beta, everything is unknown.

But before the official release, there are still many players who will have expectations for gameplay, features, etc., especially improvements in quality of life features, because this is where the Madden NFL series has always been complained by players.

So, here we want to highlight 5 key quality of life changes that I think are very important and key to improving our game experience. Without further ado, let’s get started.

1. Challenge System Needs To Add A Pause Function

The first thing that urgently needs to be changed is Challenge System in MUT 26. Actually, this has to do with the way Challenge system works, because every time we have to do something to actually throw a flag or challenge a play, it means that we have to pause the game to challenge a play. In my opinion, this is a huge break from immersion and we should never be forced to pause the game to do something that is essential to the game.

If we need to pause the game for any reason, such as needing to go to the bathroom or do something else, then we should not be forced to pause the game. There is actually a handy Coaching Adjustments feature in the game. Click R3 and it will pop up and the game clock will be paused, at which point we can adjust everything.

So why not add such a button to the challenge mode? We can just click to throw a flag and it will throw a flag while we can still be immersed in the game, which is much better than forcing us to pause the game.

2. Play Call Screen Can Provide Wind Information

The next question is related to Play Call Select screen. When we think about kicking a long field goal or any field goal in general, we can’t predict the wind direction or speed.

But this is very important because it may cause the wind to blow the ball to the right or directly into your face. Then you either call a timeout to get out of trouble or you have to take a penalty. But if we can get this information in advance on Play Call Select, we will be able to avoid risks.

3. Lack Of Mass Substitution Options

I believe every experienced football player knows that a suitable formation is the key to winning the game, so the convenience of mass substitutions in the game will directly affect our quality of life.

Now, obviously we can make formation substitutions directly in Play Call screen, or make global substitutions by position. However, this requires the operation of the play clock and the game clock because we are trying to find the players we want to replace, and we have to do it. If we make substitutions one by one, it will be too inefficient, so especially in preseason games or games with a big difference in the record between the two sides, the mass substitution option will be very effective.

In Madden NFL, we don’t even have a mass substitution option. If you want to make multiple position adjustments at once, you have to pause the game, go into the depth chart, make these position adjustments, or complete the substitutions you want.

So we urgently need this feature to give us a mass substitution option. Otherwise, sometimes even if you spend Madden NFL 26 coins to get the strongest player, it’s useless if you don’t have more time to make substitutions.

4. The Graphics In CPU vs CPU Lack Immersion

The next feature we are going to mention may not be suitable for everyone, that is, CPU vs CPU. Some people like to play games on the live screen, and some people like to experience CPU vs CPU. However, whether you are playing or watching, there is often a situation where the position of the player’s down-and-distance marker changes.

When the developers designed this feature, they always assumed that players would play directly through Madden screen. They didn’t take into account those who play CPU vs CPU or play through the live screen.

When we were on the live screen, as the position of the down-and-distance marker changed, the player’s body was cut off in half and you couldn’t even see him. This is definitely a huge issue for me at least. It’s about immersion and just the foundation of a wonderful experience, so Madden 26 definitely needs to address this.

5. Increase The Diversity Of CPU Playbooks

For the last quality of life issue we want to talk about, it really ties into the fact that franchise mode players don’t have the ability to change CPU’s playbook.

CPU playbooks in Madden 26 are a tremendous problem, CPU calls the same playbooks repeatedly, and the run-pass ratio is catastrophic. And we can’t adjust it, whether it’s CPU to CPU or user to CPU, we can’t do anything because we can’t assign custom playbooks to the CPU. So you keep seeing the same plays repeated over and over again.

But actually, developers can increase this playbook diversity. If we can assign playbooks to CPU and start playing immediately, not only will it give us a good pass-run ratio and play variety, but it will also enable custom plays and a better game experience. So what’s the reason not to do this in franchise mode? This way we can make the game more realistic with simulation modes, because that’s what we want to achieve in these modes.

Conclusion

So that’s our list of five quality of life features that need to be changed or features that I would like to see tweaked in Madden 26 to improve the game experience. What do you think are the top quality of life changes? Is there anything missing? See you next time!
