For Monopoly Go enthusiasts, every limited-time digging event is a gamble of resources and strategy. The recently concluded Beanstalk Treasures event consumed a significant amount of Dices for many, and the new Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones is confirmed to launch on April 28th at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, lasting four days.
Similar to the previous Beanstalk Treasures, the core consumable in this Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones is Pickaxes, obtained by digging up blocks on the board.
Based on data from past digging events, the following provides the required number of Dices to complete this Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones, the sources of Pickaxes, and the most resource-efficient execution plan. However, specific values may vary slightly between events, but the methodology and proportions generally remain consistent.
Basic Data
The event spans four days, from 1:00 PM Eastern Time on April 28th to 1:00 PM Eastern Time on May 2nd. Based on statistics from previous Beanstalk Treasures and other digging events, completing the entire digging board requires approximately 4,000+ Dices.
The minimum number of Pickaxes required is 200+. This assumes an ideal scenario where each dig hits the target precisely and there are no extra misplaced squares.
Considering missed digs, misplaced digs, and the additional costs due to the randomness of the board layout, it is recommended to prepare 300 to 330 Pickaxes. This range has been verified in multiple events and can reliably complete all digging layers without wasting too many resources.
Remember that 1 Pickaxe is roughly equivalent to the value of 3 Dices. This means that if you excessively roll the dice to accumulate more Pickaxes, resulting in a net loss in Monopoly Go Dice exceeding the gains from Pickaxes, it will be counterproductive.
Free Pickaxes Acquisition Overview
Without spending additional Dices to acquire Pickaxes, you can obtain approximately 84 free Pickaxes through regular in-game channels and limited-time event rewards. This source is stable and doesn't require risking progress to higher levels, making it a priority for all players.
Daily Fixed Rewards
- Quick Wins: If you save your Quick Wins from the previous day until the first day of the event, you can complete four quick wins within four days, each rewarding 12 Pickaxes, for a total of 48.
- 8-Hour Free Gift: A gift box above the board every 8 hours, which can be claimed at least three times within four days, granting a certain number of Pickaxes each time, for a total of at least 24.
- Tycoon Club: Pickaxes also appear daily in the member-exclusive rewards, at least 12 within four days.
During actual mining, each block you break may yield 1-3 additional pickaxes. These recycled resources can be used to make up for previously missed blocks.
Stable Output
Daily activities are the main source of Pickaxes. Based on past Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones experience, if you complete the daily activities every day during the event, you can obtain approximately 330 Pickaxes. This means that if you complete the daily activities on time every day, you won't need to use extra Dices to exchange for Pickaxes and can successfully complete the digging on the fourth day.
Who is suitable to participate?
Based on player feedback from previous digging events, players with over 2,000 Dices and several collections that are about to close can most easily complete this Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones.
2,000 Dices provides ample room for error; even if you have bad luck digging in the first two days, it won't prevent you from continuing. The collections that are about to close will provide you with extra Dices during the event. Closing each set will give you hundreds to thousands of Dices, essentially adding insurance to the event.
For players with fewer Dices, don't give up completely. It's recommended to complete the daily dice roll missions first, then use the remaining rolls to dig. Prioritize completing Quick Wins each day to collect daily gifts, then utilize the natural progression of Side Tournaments to acquire Pickaxes, and only consider actively digging with Dices as a last resort.
Regardless of your Dices count, basic discipline is essential: avoid impulsiveness, don't compare yourself to others on the leaderboard, and don't continuously max out your multiplier just to reach the finish line faster. By adhering to these principles, even with only slightly over 1,000 Dices, you have a good chance of completing the event.
Efficient Strategy
Don't try to finish digging on the first or second day. The event lasts four days, with new Quick Wins and 8-hour gifts each day. Side Tournament and top bar progress also refresh daily. The correct approach for the first two days is:
- Complete Quick Wins each day (don't claim them prematurely; wait for the refresh).
- Complete the daily activities each day.
- Save the digging action for after claiming all daily fixed rewards.
By the end of the third day, you'll have accumulated approximately 250-280 Pickaxes while keeping your Dice consumption within a reasonable range. If you still have two layers left to dig, you can easily finish on the fourth day using the new free pickaxes and tournament rewards. If you're significantly behind, consider adding a few small multipliers on the evening of the third day or the fourth day. The second priority is to generate Pickaxes through tournaments and the daily activities. These Pickaxes come from daily progress. Although it requires consuming a small amount of Dices to score tournament points, the overall benefit is positive, and the net Dice loss is manageable.
Important Notes
Three points require special attention.
First, avoid excessive dice rolling and pickaxe stacking. One Pickaxe is roughly equivalent to the value of 3 Dices. If you find that you have consumed more than 2,000 Dices but have accumulated less than 200 Pickaxes, your current strategy is unbalanced. You should immediately stop high-intensity dice rolling and return to your daily minimum reward rhythm, prioritizing free rewards.
Second, don't leave pickaxes unused. All unused Pickaxes will be cleared by the system after the event ends and will not be carried over to the next digging event. Therefore, at the end of the fourth day, even if you only have one pickaxe left, you should dig it up to avoid waste.
Finally, beware of leaderboard traps. While the ranking rewards for Side Tournaments seem tempting, climbing from level 17 to 30 to compete for first place often requires consuming several times the value of the rewards in Dices.
This Beauty and the Treasures Rewards and Milestones lasts four days, aiming for 300 to 330 pickaxes. It can be reliably completed using Quick Wins, 8-hour gifts, and daily activities. With over 2000 Dices and by closing 1-2 collections, you should be able to break even. Remember: slow and steady wins the race; finishing on the fourth day is the most resource-efficient. Good luck digging up all the treasures in Monopoly Go!
