Monopoly Go: How To Play Ghostly Gatherings? - December 15-17

This week, Monopoly Go has a bunch of new events for you to play, including Ghostly Gatherings. This event will give you Haunted Mansion tokens besides the regular rewards. Based on this, we will show you how to play Ghostly Gatherings.

Dec 16, 2024 Author: EZG

Do you love horror stories or games? Or do you love them but are afraid to try them? This week in Monopoly Go you’ll have the chance to experience Ghostly Gatherings, a spooky but not super scary event!

This Ghostly Gatherings event is based on the tournament event type mechanic, and will take you on a fun ghost tour of the game. Not only will you get a chance to experience the atmosphere of the holiday season similar to Halloween, but you’ll also get a lot of Monopoly Go Dice and Haunted Mansion event tokens!

With that in mind, let us show you how to play this Ghostly Gatherings event.Monopoly Go: How To Play Ghostly Gatherings? - December 15-17

What Is Ghostly Gatherings Event?

This Ghostly Gatherings event continues the tradition of tournament leaderboard time events and has officially kicked off at 1pm EST on December 15 and will last until 1pm EST on December 17. During this period, you can participate by logging in to Monopoly Go and entering the corresponding event interface.

Because of the fixed mechanism, you need to work hard to accumulate Ghostly Gatherings points to complete the event milestone and get the rewards for this event. In addition, since the large-scale Haunted Mansion adventure event will also end on the 17th, Ghostly Gatherings is also your last chance to win Haunted Mansion tokens!

How To Get Ghostly Gatherings Event Points?

To get points for this event, on the one hand, you need to use Monopoly Go Dice on hand to move forward on the game board as much as possible, and on the other hand, you need to land on tax squares or the utility squares as much as possible. Specifically, the number of points you can win in this Ghostly Gatherings event is as follows:

In daily games, Luxury Tax and Income Tax usually take your money. However, landing on one of them now will win you four Ghostly Gatherings event points. Electric Factory or Water Works are blocks that provide you with small cash rewards. They will win you four points in Ghostly Gatherings.

Of course, as always, you’ll want to boost your dice roll multiplier, especially if you find yourself landing on one of these squares. There are only four spaces like this on the board, so you should use your free dice and dice multiplier to maximize the number of points you can get.

What Rewards Does Ghostly Gatherings Event Include?

Ghostly Gatherings event will end on December 17th, along with Haunted Mansion event, so this also means that it also provides you with the last chance to get Haunted Mansion tokens. In fact, of the 50 milestone rewards in Ghostly Gatherings, 13 of them offer Haunted Mansion adventure tokens.

Of course, besides these special tokens, Ghostly Gatherings event also brings you a lot of free dice rolls, flash event triggers, cash rewards, and some strange sticker packs. Monopoly Go Cards opened in these sticker packs can help you complete your collection of recent Jingle Joy albums.

Date

Aqua Partners event lasts for 5 days, starting at 1 pm on July 8, 2025, Eastern Time, and ending at 4 pm on July 13.

Top Reward: All Partnerships Completed

  • 5,000 Free Dice Rolls
  • Swap Pack
  • Giant Clam Token

You and your partner need to complete the first 5 milestone rewards, and Top Reward will be automatically unlocked. Besides the 5,000 dice and Giant Clam Token, which are very valuable, Swap Pack is also very important because it allows you to get a lot of Monopoly Go cards.

After opening Swap Pack, you can get 4 rare cards. If you are not satisfied with these cards, you can open it again. In the period when Summer Escape album has just started, Swap Pack is much more useful than a Wild Sticker.

How To Add Partners?

You need to build an aquarium with your partner, and you can invite up to 4 partners to join your team. You can choose which of your friends or system-recommended players to invite to join your team by clicking on the empty slot.

But you’d better make sure that the players you invite are as active as you. Otherwise, if one or two players do not log in during the event, the pressure on you and your partners will become very large, and you may not get the highest reward.

You can find players in some player communities, but not all of them are honest, so be sure to carefully identify them.

How To Get Aqua Partners Event Points?

To get Aqua Partners event points, you need to use Clam Shell tokens. You can click the wheel on the right side of the screen to use the wheel by consuming 20 Clam Shell tokens. You will get different points according to the results of the wheel.

You can also set a multiplier in advance before spinning the wheel, so that the points you get in the wheel will be multiplied by the multiplier you set in advance. If you are lucky enough, you will get all the rewards quickly, but this will also accelerate your token consumption. If you set ×3, then this spin of the wheel will consume 60 Clam Shell tokens.

How To Get Clam Shell Tokens?

Tournaments And Banner Events

There are a lot of Clam Shell tokens in the milestones of tournaments and daily events. They are your main source of tokens. The events currently running are:

  • Tournament: Tan Tussle (July 8-9), 1,910 Clam Shell Tokens
  • Banner Event: Summer Style (July 8-10), 3,780 Clam Shell Tokens

While both events will also give you Monopoly Go stickers and dice, this will cost you more dice, so it is not recommended to get all the tokens in each event, and it is better to plan ahead to avoid wasting your dice.

Quick Wins

Quick Wins rewards that refresh at 9 am ET every day will give you some Clam Shell Tokens. Completing a week of Quick Wins will also give you a chance to get a purple sticker pack.

Store Gifts

The store refreshes gifts every eight hours, and these gifts will have Clam Shell Tokens. You need to go to the bottom of the store to see the gifts. If you have already claimed them, you can also see a countdown to the next available claim.

Game Board

When you move on the game board, some Clam Shell tokens will appear, but there are not many of them. If you set the multiplier in advance and successfully reach this grid, you will get more tokens.

Partner’s Wheel

When your partner uses Aqua Partners event‘s wheel, sometimes it stops at the partner segment. This position will send some Clam Shell tokens to other partners.

The above is the general content of Aqua Partners event. Summer Escape album has just begun, and a Swap Pack will help you a lot, not to mention that this album also has more precious 6-star stickers, so try to find a reliable partner.

Monopoly Go Golden Hour Wonders July 2-4, 2025: What Rewards Are Worth Paying Attention To?

Are all Monopoly Go tycoons hiding from the scorching sun in the shade? Monopoly Go has also launched a new sticker album, Summer Escape Album. The first special event of this album is the racing event Heatwave Racers.

You can invite your friends to join your Monopoly Go Heatwave Racers Event Slot Rank #1 and try to surpass other players to become the first. You and your friends need to collect Flag takes to join in the event. The rewards of the current banner event Golden Hour Wonders include many Flag takes.

Date

Golden Hour Wonders is a two-day banner event with 62 milestones and many Monopoly Go dice rewards. It starts at 1 pm EST on July 2, 2025 and ends at 1 pm EST on July 4, 2025.

How To Get Points?

Unlocking all the rewards for this event is a tough challenge, and you need to get 43,475 points. If you just want all the tokens, you will need 22,050 points.

You need to land your tokens in the following locations to get points:

  • Chance: 1 point
  • Community Chest: 1 point
  • Railroad: 2 points

The railroad grid can provide you with points for Stream Sprint Tournament, so you need to pay the most attention to this grid. Whenever you are close to the railroad grid, you should try to set a high multiplier so that you can get a lot of points in Golden Hour Wonders event and Stream Sprint Tournament at the same time. This is the most efficient way to use the dice.

Although the chance grid has a little chance to send you to the railroad grid, allowing you to get three points at once, this probability is about 1 in 20, so it is not recommended to use the multiplier on this grid.

Golden Hour Wonders Rewards

Golden Hour Wonders is pretty stingy with Monopoly Go stickers, and you can only get the top three-star sticker pack, which requires you to get at least 3,845 points.

You can get up to 2,630 Flags taken in milestone rewards, which is slightly more than you can get in tournaments, but it is still recommended to do what you can and don’t waste too many dice.

Golden Hour Wonders event offers a lot of dice rewards, and you can get up to 18,205 dice, but you will definitely spend more than that. If you complete 53 milestones and get all the flags taken, you will get 9,505 dice.

Here are the approximate rewards for this event:

  • 18,205 dice
  • 2,630 Flags Tokens
  • Green sticker pack×2, Yellow sticker pack×1, Pink sticker pack×1
  • Builder’s Bash×1, Cash Boost×2, Mega Heist×1, Color Wheel Boost×1

Monopoly Go Tycoon Terminal June 8-11, 2025: How To Easily Earn Peg-E Tokens?

The past few weeks of Monopoly Go have been very busy, with shorter intervals between major events and Golden Blitz, forcing you to work hard for them to get those precious Monopoly Go cards!

Fortunately, the beginning of this week seems to be a little easier, and you don’t have to worry about finding partners or racing teammates for the time being, just enjoy a new round of familiar Peg-E Prize Drop!

Of course, the progress of Peg-E Prize Drop event is also inseparable from the role of tokens, but one of the new banner events, Tycoon Terminal, can solve your token concerns. It is held almost at the same time as this Peg-E, fully meeting your token needs!

When Does Tycoon Terminal Take Place?

The event has been launched on June 8 and will end on June 11, lasting a total of two days and 20 hours. Perhaps to cooperate with Peg-E Prize Drop, the duration of Tycoon Terminal is slightly longer than the normal banner event.

It is worth noting that there is a Golden Blitz during these two events, which means that you can still trade Monopoly Go Warm & Fuzzy and Princess Leia gold stickers with your friends until 9 AM ET on June 9th 2025! Don’t miss it!

How To Play Tycoon Terminal?

Whether you are just starting to play Tycoon Terminal or have already completed a few milestones, you don’t have to worry about the gameplay, because although the time has increased, the gameplay has remained almost the same.

In this event, the four corner tiles on Monopoly Go board are your main targets, because only they can provide you with Tycoon Terminal points:

  • Go
  • Free Parking
  • In Jail
  • Go to Jail

Since they don’t account for a large proportion of the board, in order to ensure that you can get enough points to redeem milestone rewards, you can increase your dice multiplier before each roll - provided that you have enough dice! Because overconsumption will cause losses!

What Are The Benefits Of Participating In Tycoon Terminal?

First up, Tycoon Terminal is giving away 725 Peg-E tokens that can help you win Peg-E Prize Drops rewards - including the very valuable purple sticker pack and Wild Sticker!

In addition, Tycoon Terminal is giving you the following game props through Milestone Rewards:

  • 18,205 Free Dice Rolls
  • Pink Sticker Pack (26th Milestone)
  • 10-Minute Color Wheel Boost (44th Milestone)
  • 15-Minute Builder’s Bash (18th Milestone)
  • 40-Minute Mega Heist (50th Milestone)

These resources will be a great help in your progress towards other new Monopoly Go events in this week, especially the nearly 20,000 dice! And the pink sticker pack will help advance your Star Wars Go album collection.

Monopoly Go Shutdown Mini-Game: How To Win? - Mechanics & Strategies

When you enter Monopoly Go, which has generated 2 billion in revenue in less than a year, you will find that there are many events provided to you, such as regular single-player banner events and tournament events; partner events, racing events and the latest Adventure Club events that require you to work together with your partners.

Because they last for different periods of time in the game, players pay different attention to them. For example, single-player banner events and tournaments that are updated every 1 or 2 days are the favorites of players because they can provide players with super rich milestone rewards in a high-frequency update cycle, including a large number of free dice, Monopoly Go Stickers and cash rewards.

But if you ask ten Monopoly Go players to choose a more preferred one between these two events, it is estimated that 8 players will choose the tournament that can provide additional leaderboard rewards. If you want to get more points rewards to exchange for higher milestone rewards, you may need to pass the test of Shutdown and Bank Heist.

These two mini-games are triggered when you land on Railroad tile on Monopoly Go board, and both allow you to perform destructive actions on other players’ landmarks or banks to earn more points and cash rewards. According to some players’ actual tests, you are more likely to trigger Monopoly Go Shutdown in these games, so this guide will show you how to easily win and earn more rewards in these games.

How Does Shutdown Work?

When you trigger Monopoly Go Shutdown, you will be teleported to a landmark built by a player you specify. From here, you can complete the destruction task by clicking on any landmark he or she owns.

If this player has some shields that can prevent you from demolishing it, you will get the result of Shutdown Blocked, which only gives you 2 tournament points and a small cash reward.

But if the landmark you destroy is not protected by a specific shield, you will get 4 points and a large cash reward. And if the landmark has been destroyed and has not been repaired in time, you will earn more cash!

Note that the final points reward offered to you here is affected by the dice multiplier you choose when moving the board token; and the cash reward will change based on your current net worth.

Can I Choose The Target?

Some careful players may have seen in the description of the running mechanism just now that you can choose the target player you want to destroy the landmark after you trigger Shutdown mini-game, so the answer to this question is absolutely yes.

Before you enter Monopoly Go Shutdown, you will see a Switch Opponent button at the bottom of the screen. After pressing it and jumping to the interface, you will see the two tabs of Revenge and Friends.

Revenge, as the name suggests, you can choose those players who have demolished your landmarks for revenge, and they will appear in your recent attack list. This means that you can destroy a player’s landmark again, which will greatly increase your chances of success. Not only that, this tab also allows you to attack any random player except your friends.

As for Friends tab, it is also obvious that you can visit the city of any of your friends in Monopoly Go and destroy his or her landmark. But it is worth noting that in this case, your friends will receive a notification from the game system and can take revenge on you when they trigger this mini-game.

How To Maximize Your Rewards?

Now that you know the basics of Monopoly Go Shutdown and the common problems, here are some strategies and tips on how to maximize your potential rewards.

Use A High Dice Multiplier

First of all, when rolling the dice to move the pieces around the board in Monopoly Go, it is important to choose the right dice multiplier. The roll is completely random, but years of trial and error have shown that 6, 7, and 8 are the most likely outcomes.

So, if you see that your token is 6-8 tiles away from Railroad tile that triggers this mini-game, you can use a higher dice multiplier to get more points in it.

But it must be said that this method is still a little risky because you can’t directly determine that it will land on the exact tile you need. And a higher multiplier will also make you more likely to run out of dice.

Increase Net Worth

Since you’re aiming for not only points that bring you super-rich milestone rewards, but also cash rewards in Shutdown, you’ll also need to increase your net worth to make sure you get more cash each time you get a Shutdown Blocked or Shutdown Success.

The best way to increase your net worth in this game is to upgrade all your landmarks as much as possible: each board contains five landmarks, each of which can be upgraded six times, with each upgrade directly increasing your net worth.

While the cash cost of upgrading higher-level landmarks is huge, trust me, it will allow you to get more cash even if you get a Shutdown Blocked than a regular player would earn from a Shutdown Success.

Collect As Many Shields As Possible

You can destroy other players’ landmarks by Shutdown, and other players can also use the same method to threaten your landmarks, so you need to collect as many shields as possible in Monopoly Go to fill up all the shield slots you have.

Some special partner events, treasure events, and Peg-E events will also give you some shield rewards for you to collect. But the most direct way is to use the tiles on the board, and when you collect all the shields but land on a shield tile again, all the dice you just spent will be returned to you.

It is also worth noting that those landmarks that have been destroyed or have their shields destroyed will emit smoke, and you can choose the one you want to Shutdown by entering each landmark situation in the player list provided to you.

Here are the gameplay and tips for Shutdown, one of the main mini-games in Monopoly Go for tournament points. Hopefully, you can use the information provided by this guide to add more controllable factors and get more rewards in this game that is almost entirely based on luck. Have fun!
