With early May, Monopoly Go players are once again greeted with one of the game's most valuable limited-time events: Trade Fest.
This multi-day special event officially begins on May 9th, combining the concurrently launched Blocks Boutique series challenges and a plethora of Boost Events, providing all collectors and strategy players with a golden window to advance their Monopoly Ever After Album collection and accumulate dice.
This article, combining the latest official information and high-win-rate strategies, outlines the core value of Blocks Boutique and Trade Fest, how they synergize with the current event, and how to maximize your gains over the next week.
Blocks Boutique
Blocks Boutique will run from May 8th to May 12th (Eastern Time). This is a typical Milestone event. If you successfully complete one full row and one full column on the main prize board, you will be awarded the grand prize, which includes 2,000 dice rolls, Potion Shield skin, a swap pack, and a four-star blue sticker pack.
However, be aware that Blocks Boutique consumes a significant amount of Monopoly Go Dice. Most players need to complete more than 20 levels to win the grand prize, and the chance of breaking even before running out of dice is not high. Therefore, strategically entering Boost window is crucial.
Based on Monopoly Go's Boost events schedule for the next few days, your core strategy is to wait for the optimal moment. My suggested strategy is to closely link High Roller with Roll Match, Builder's Bash, Sticker Boom, and other Boost Events during Blocks Boutique period. The specific strategy is as follows:
High Roller
Start the 10-minute High Roller at 9 AM and Cash Boost at 2 PM. A key strategy: Don't log in from 7:30 AM until around 1:48 PM. This activates the 5-minute High Roller and connects seamlessly with the 2 PM Cash Boost, allowing for up to 15 minutes of maximum high returns.
Roll Match
Focus on the 9 AM Roll Match and the immediately following Builder's Bash. Note that Builder's Bash comes after Roll Match, not the money-making Boost. You can choose to quickly accumulate cash with High Roller first, then complete the upgrade during Builder's Bash to climb the leaderboard with minimal cost.
Sticker Boom
Utilize the 10-minute Sticker Boom. The value of Sticker Boom lies not only in the extra stickers but also in its perfect synergy with your 700 Stars Vaults and the mid-to-late game blue and purple packs in Blocks Boutique.
Conservative Approach: Control the pace in advance to ensure a high-star pack drops immediately during Sticker Boom window; or prepare a game of Bank of Monopoly and wait to obtain double sticker rewards during Sticker Boom window.
Trade Fest
Unlike Blocks Boutique's milestone reward mechanism, Trade Fest, a game driven by collecting, is the second largest trading event in Monopoly Go after Golden Blitz. Normally, it doubles the player's daily trading limit from 5 to 10.
This means you can complete up to 20 trades during the two-day event. Its value lies not only in the increased number of trades but also in the ability to use an "Exchange many for one" strategy, pooling your high-star Monopoly Go Stickers to exchange for rare five-star key stickers.
Trade Fest and Blocks Boutique perfectly complemented each other during Monopoly Ever After Album in early May.
Trade Fest focuses on quickly filling sticker gaps through external communities, while Blocks Boutique provides a stable output of dice and points within the game.
For you, the most direct approach is to use Monopoly Go trading platform or community channels to exchange two or three unwanted four-star stickers for a popular five-star sticker. This quickly advances your collection and avoids the predicament of running out of stickers and being unable to complete multiple transactions.
Boost Events Synergy
In high-level Monopoly Go gameplay, relying solely on the above-mentioned single events often cannot support long-term cycles. Combining them with daily Boost Events can achieve better results. For example, Boost Events of May 9th: High Roller, Cash Boost, and Mega Heist can be synchronized. The specific operational logic is as follows:
First, during normal gameplay, your dice multiplier is limited by the default cap, usually only x20 or x50. However, when High Roller is activated, the multiplier can typically reach 500 to 1000x, significantly amplifying the score for each landing. This is your only window to climb the higher difficulty levels of Blocks Boutique.
Secondly, Cash Boost provides exponential cash gains, especially useful when Free Parking or Heist is triggered.
Finally, if you need to quickly replenish the trillions of dollars needed to advance, Mega Heist is the most worthwhile long-term boost. Concentrating on using High Roller during its activation period will yield more satisfying returns.
You might wonder how to coordinate the corresponding Monopoly Go Boost Events on another future day?
The answer is actually quite simple. You can check the official schedule released by the community in advance, plan the most efficient sequence, and schedule a period where High Roller and Cash Boost overlap.
Prioritize accelerating your token collection for Blocks Boutique; during Mega Heist, proactively switch to the highest multiplier attack to earn massive double-digit cash to address the funding gap for subsequent upgrades to Builder's Bash.
After reviewing the full event list, you should notice that there's one more high-value window before the afternoon of May 12th: Blocks Boutique is ending. If you haven't completed this round, the final 5-minute High Roller opportunity will most likely appear that afternoon.
If you've already completed your progress, the best advice is to stop logging in before the end and log back in after the window closes - this will carry over any unused High Roller slots to the next unknown main event.
Additionally, for Golden-locked players, Trade Fest is a crucial opportunity to clear out inventory and earn loot box stars: exchange your unused four- to five-star stickers for single high-star stickers on the trading platform to quickly advance your 700-star Star Vault progress.
Once Stars Vaults open, combined with Sticker Boom event on May 11th, you'll have a chance to complete your collection of the remaining gold stickers.
Finally, a reminder: Regardless of your strategy, avoid mindlessly rolling the dice during periods without Boost Events; this only wastes dice without any real benefit. Accurately calculate each window you enter in Monopoly Go, maintain sufficient patience, and you can make a fortune in early May.
