If both players choose the same symbol, the robbery is successful, and you can steal one of the other player's landmarks; if you choose different symbols, nothing happens.

While this mechanism attempts to simulate the robbery gameplay in the mobile game, it actually just adds extra steps and doesn't bring any real strategy. In contrast, trading, investing, and money management in classic Monopoly and the mobile Monopoly GO are simpler and more direct, making it easier to create psychological warfare between players.

Monopoly GO also features a massive attack mechanic called Mega Shutdown, which is arguably the most game-breaking aspect. Each player has a Shutdown progress bar; when it reaches its maximum, a Mega Shutdown can be activated.

Once activated, you choose a color, and all other players must remove all landmarks of that color. This means that if a player is close to completing a building, just one block away, another player can potentially reset their progress to zero with a Mega Shutdown.

While this mechanic aligns with the destructive gameplay of the mobile Monopoly GO, in a board game setting, it creates a strong sense of frustration for players. Players might spend considerable time building an advantage only to be instantly back to square one because of a single attack.

The biggest problem with Monopoly GO isn't that it hasn't found its niche. Unlike the classic Monopoly, which boasts a complete economic system and player interaction, Monopoly GO doesn't offer the same thrill of rapid growth, collection, and upgrades as the mobile version. Monopoly GO feels more like a derivative product launched to capitalize on a popular IP.

Monopoly GO officially launched The Simpsons GO Episode Stickers Set 3: Krustyland Invasion on July 1st. This is the third Episode Stickers collection phase since the start of The Simpsons GO! Sticker Album collaboration event.

According to the current official Monopoly GO event schedule, Krustyland Invasion will last until July 15, 2026. Simultaneously, the second round of voting for Golden Blitz from The Simpsons GO Album has also begun.

For players still hoping to complete this reward route, the next two weeks will be crucial for collecting Monopoly GO Episode Stickers and Gold Stickers and achieving milestone rewards.

How to get them?

Episode Stickers are obtained differently from regular Stickers. Currently, the only direct way to obtain them is through Episode Sticker Packs. Completing daily Quick Wins remains one of the most stable sources of Episode Sticker Packs, helping you continuously earn Episode Sticker rewards.

In addition, limited-time events such as Banner Events, Tournaments, Partner Events, and Dig Events will also set Episode Sticker Packs as milestone rewards, so actively participating in various events is still the best way to improve collection efficiency.

For players who already have duplicate stickers, exchanging stickers with Monopoly GO friends is still one of the fastest ways to complete the collection. Most Episode Stickers, except for some Gold Stickers, are tradable.

If you obtain a Monopoly GO Wild Sticker, you can directly redeem any sticker from the current Episode that you don't yet own, making it ideal for completing your collection of rare stickers or Gold Stickers.

Note that Episode Sticker Packs only drop stickers currently available. When the current Episode ends, unopened Episode Packs will automatically be converted into packs for the next Episode, without retaining the previous one. Therefore, you cannot hoard packs to complete ended Episodes.

Additionally, each Episode typically lasts only about two weeks, and the corresponding stickers will stop being obtainable after the event ends. Therefore, it's recommended to complete your collection during the event period.

If you encounter a Monopoly GO Sticker Boom event, opening previously saved Episode Sticker Packs will allow you to obtain more stickers at once, increasing your chances of getting missing stickers.

Event Schedule

Following the launch of Krustyland Invasion, Monopoly GO has also arranged numerous limited-time events to help players collect Episode Sticker Packs and event points, which are worth your attention.

On July 2nd, Monopoly GO will launch Mega Heist and Builder's Bash; on July 3rd, the new Milestone Event Pickled Profits will launch, along with multiple reward events such as Tycoon Class Tournament, High Roller, Cash Boost, and Mega Heist.

On July 4th, Monopoly GO will still have Tycoon Class Tournament, with Rent Frenzy, Mega Heist, and High Roller rotating among the events. If your Monopoly GO Dice are limited, it is recommended to prioritize completing Tournament Milestones, as this is the most efficient way to obtain Episode Sticker Packs.

July 5th marks the highly anticipated Sticker Boom, coinciding with the launch of Cash Grab, Wheel Boost, and Builder's Bash events. This is the perfect time to unlock Episode Sticker Packs and maximize collection efficiency.

On July 6th, the new Peg-E Prize Drop, Milestone Event Okily Dokily Garden, and a new Tournament will launch. Tycoon Class Tournaments will continue to be released in the following days, providing a consistent opportunity to obtain Episode Sticker Packs.

For players aiming to complete Krustyland Invasion collection, strategically planning Monopoly GO daily activities, actively participating in tournaments, and taking advantage of Sticker Boom events will significantly improve sticker collection efficiency.

With the official launch of Krustyland Invasion, discussions within Monopoly GO community have rapidly intensified. Currently, community voting results indicate that Obviously Grilled and More Coffee are the two Gold Stickers most likely to be included in the next Golden Blitz. Based on past event schedules, the official announcement of the event time and the opening of trading usually take place within a few days after the voting ends.

Once Golden Blitz begins, you can simply select the corresponding Gold Sticker in Sticker Album to initiate a trade or gift it to a friend, just like a regular sticker. A maximum of 5 Gold Stickers can be gifted during the event, making Golden Blitz one of the most important opportunities for players still lacking a specific Gold Sticker to complete their collection.
