Path of Exile Patch 3.29: How Do You Farm Stacked Decks Without Spending a Fortune?
In Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, Stacked Deck is a special type of Divination Card. Using it randomly grants you another Divination Card.
The value of different Divination Cards varies greatly. Stacked Decks can yield low-value cards, but also have a chance to reward high-value Unique Items, Currency, or other rare rewards. You can sell them directly or accumulate them to open in bulk.
This farming strategy recommended by EZG.com can help you reliably acquire numerous Stacked Decks. If you don't want to invest heavily in PoE Currency for map preparation, this strategy is worth trying.
Advantages
The biggest advantage of this strategy isn't the theoretically high yield of Stacked Decks, but the diverse sources of income. During map runs, Stacked Deck, Ritual, Eater of Worlds Altars, Omen, Scarab, and other PoE Currencies all provide rewards.
Even if a map has a low Stacked Deck drop rate, it doesn't necessarily mean the overall reward is low, as other rewards may compensate.
Compared to gambling on a Mirror-level drop, this playstyle emphasizes consistent accumulation. Furthermore, its investment and system requirements are low, requiring no particularly complex map preparation.
It also doesn't demand excessive character strength; as long as you can consistently clear the map, you can continuously farm Path of Exile Stacked Deck and other rewards.
Farming Strategy
For maps, Tier 16 8-Mod Jungle Valley is recommended, primarily because its boss doesn't spawn during normal runs, thus avoiding boss-related Eldritch Altar options. Choosing an 8-mod map is also beneficial because PoE map affixes typically provide higher pack sizes, further increasing the number of monsters on the map.
The most significant benefit of this strategy comes from Doedre's Devoted. Each Divination Scarab of the Cloister adds 40-60 stacks of Doedre's Devoted to the map. Using 5 Scarabs simultaneously, a single Path of Exile map can theoretically add 200-300 stacks of Doedre's Devoted.
These monsters have a fixed 5% drop rate for Stacked Deck. Rather than simply pursuing a higher POE item quantity, prioritizing the increase in Doedre's Devoted quantity is more beneficial.
Pack size is a secondary benefit. While it doesn't directly target Stacked Deck like increasing Doedre's Devoted, a higher Pack Size increases the overall number of monsters on the map, making them more densely distributed and thus increasing overall benefit and efficiency.
When farming, prioritize using Eldritch Altars where Basic Currency has a chance to be duplicated. This is because Stacked Deck is a Basic Currency and therefore has the potential to be copied. For example, if 10 Stacked Decks drop at once and duplication is triggered, you'll gain an additional 10.
Rituals also affect Stacked Deck production. If Doedre's Devoted die near a Ritual, Ritual may re-summon these monsters later. When farming, prioritize finding Eldritch Altars before dealing with Rituals to avoid missing the altar for duplicating POE Currency after completing a Ritual prematurely.
If many Doedre's Devoted die near a particular Ritual, prioritize dealing with that Ritual to increase the chance of these monsters reappearing in subsequent Rituals, maximizing the benefits from the same group of monsters and speeding up the process.
Atlas Tree
This strategy doesn't require you to max out Atlas Tree from the start. Prioritize configuring talents around Ritual, Shrine, and Eater of Worlds, and adjust remaining points based on Path of Exile market price.
First, Shrine Nodes. The focus here isn't just on Shrine itself, but on using Atlas Tree to reduce other League Mechanics, thereby increasing the chance of Ritual spawns on maps. Shrines that spawn on maps also provide various temporary buffs, such as increased movement, attack, or defense, making map clearing smoother.
Ritual Chance passive skills are a key part of your Atlas Tree strategy, as Ritual is one of the primary sources of income for this farming strategy.
Occult Devotion is especially important, as it ensures a fixed 4 Ritual Altars spawn on each map. This provides relatively stable income even if monster and loot distribution fluctuates across different maps.
Next are Scarab-related passive skills. This doesn't need to be completely fixed; you can adjust based on the current market price in POE Patch 3.29. If Ambush Scarab is expensive, you can choose the corresponding Passive Skill to increase your income.
Finally, don't overlook Eater of Worlds Altar-related Passive Skills. Eater Altars aren't the core of this strategy, but they provide additional currency and other Path of Exile loot without requiring any changes to your map-running strategy.
Overall Gains
Ritual rewards in POE Curse of the Allflame have a significant degree of randomness; the number of Stacked Decks on a single map can vary greatly.
Overall, running approximately 20 maps yields around 1,000 Stacked Decks, several Divine Orbs, multiple Audience With The King, hundreds of Chaos Orbs, and some high-value Omens, for a total gain of over twenty Divines.

If you're looking for a farming strategy in Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame that doesn't require an enormous investment but allows for continuous Stacked Deck accumulation, then this approach is worth trying. Of course, Stacked Deck drops still have a degree of randomness, so I recommend treating it more as a long-term farming strategy.
PoE 3.29 Orb of Fusing Guide: How to Get More and Craft 6-Link Gear Faster?
Orb of Fusing, a crucial currency item in Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, primarily functions to re-link sockets on equipment, resulting in higher Link counts, especially 5-link and 6-link.
More Link counts mean a player's Skill Gems can be linked to more Support Gems, providing additional buffs to skills and significantly enhancing their effectiveness. This is especially important for players in the late game or nearing the endgame who are aiming for endgame gear.
Below is the latest efficient way to acquire Orbs of Fusing in Path of Exile 3.29 and how to maximize their effectiveness in the game.
How Does it Works?
As is well known, PoE skills are typically paired with Support Gems to gain additional stat bonuses. Only when there is a link between Skill Gem and Support Gem can they interact. This is where Orb of Fusing comes in - enabling links between two gems in the same equipment socket.
This process does not change the color or number of equipment slots; it only randomly re-modifies the slot connections. If the equipment has a certain Quality (up to 30%), each 1% increase in Quality will result in a better final connection effect.
However, based on current player feedback, the most common scenario is obtaining three or four connection slots; the chance of five or six connections is very low. Therefore, for better connection effects, it's advisable to improve the equipment's Quality before using a large number of Orbs of Fusing.
Cost
Furthermore, the more connections, the greater the consumption of Orbs of Fusing.
| Effect |
Cost |
| 2-Linked Sockets |
1x Orb of Fusing |
| 3-Linked Sockets |
3x Orb of Fusing |
| 4-Linked Sockets |
5x Orb of Fusing |
| 5-Linked Sockets |
150x Orb of Fusing |
| 6-Linked Sockets |
1500x Orb of Fusing |
Therefore, for players currently in PoE Curse of the Allflame stage, farming more Orbs of Fusing more efficiently is a top priority.
How to Get?
After Patch 3.29.3, there are four main ways to obtain Path of Exile Orbs of Fusing.
1. Monster Drops
Orbs of Fusing are Currency that can be obtained directly. They can be obtained by killing monsters, opening chests, and destroying containers while farming.
2. NPC Exchange
You can also use a basic currency similar to Orb of Fusing, which is used in the equipment socket system, such as Jeweller's Orb, to exchange for equipment at NPCs like Yeena in Act 2. Currently, the exchange rate is 4 Jeweller's Orbs to 1 Orb of Fusing.
3. Selling Equipment
If you obtain a 6-linked item while farming in PoE but don't need it, you can sell it to an NPC. Since Patch 3.19, the selling price has remained at 20 Orbs of Fusing.
The price is significantly lower than crafting a 6-linked item, so if you want to maximize your profit, you can also put the item on the in-game trading market. Perhaps a player who needs it will offer a higher price.
4. Divination Cards
Some Divination Cards can be used to directly redeem or randomly grant Orbs of Fusing. For example:
- Loyalty: 5 Loyalty cards can be redeemed for 3 Orbs of Fusing;
- Lucky Connections: 7 Lucky Connections cards can be redeemed for 20 Orbs of Fusing;
- Emperor's Luck: 5 Emperor's Luck cards can be redeemed for 5 random types of Currency, with a chance to grant an Orb of Fusing;
- The Void: More special than the three Divination Cards above, 1 The Void card can randomly grant a complete set of redemption rewards from other Divination Cards.
Best Ways to Use
1. Maximize Quality
Once you've acquired enough Orbs of Fusing, to maximize their value, you must apply them to equipment with the maximum number of slots. According to official information, increasing Quality can more than double the chance of a 6-Link, making it crucial to maximize Quality.
In Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame 3.29 Patch Notes, Socket system underwent a major overhaul. Previously, the socket color determined whether Gems could be placed inside; this restriction has now been removed. Equipment sockets default to White, allowing Gems of any color to be placed inside.
When colors are uniform, the corresponding Gem's Quality is increased by 10%. Therefore, players can use this mechanism to use Gems of the same color in equipment slots to increase Quality of equipment using Orb of Fusing.
2. Phased Use
If your primary goal is simply leveling up your character or you've just entered the map progression phase, using Orbs of Fusing to farm 5-Links is sufficient. At this stage, your gear may not be what your endgame build requires, and crafting too early will only lead to waste when you need to replace your gear.
If you've already entered the endgame of PoE and want to enhance core skills, build your endgame build, and farm high-difficulty maps in a long-term loop, then you can consider investing more Orbs of Fusing to farm 6-Links.
3. Crafting Bench
If your goal is clearly to get 6-links, relying solely on RNG might result in excessive Orb of Fusing consumption. Therefore, you can also choose to use a fixed Socket Link recipe in Crafting Bench, which requires 1,500 Orbs of Fusing to consistently get 6-Links.
This method is especially suitable for players who haven't had much luck and have already invested a significant amount of Orbs of Fusing.
To alleviate the financial burden on players, EZG has added a quick link to the homepage navigation bar to participate in a giveaway of free resources (such as Currency). Simply follow EZG Facebook and like/comment on the corresponding post to participate!
Whether it's Orb of Fusing or more links, the ultimate goal for players is to create a more powerful set of gear and achieve a build that breaks through the limits. Hopefully, this guide can help players complete this process more easily.
Stop Wasting Chromatic Orbs: Path of Exile 3.29 Socket Color Guide
In Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Curse of the Allflame, the equipment socket system is one of the core mechanics of character builds.
Players need to insert Gems into equipment sockets to create skill combinations, and the color of the socket determines which Gems will receive additional quality bonuses. Therefore, the color of equipment sockets is crucial.
So, how do you change the color of a socket to your liking? This is where a currency in the game comes in - Chromatic Orb.
What is Chromatic Orb?
In the extensive currency system of Path of Exile Patch 3.29, Chromatic Orb holds a special place because, as mentioned at the beginning, it can reforge the color of sockets on equipment, although the reforged color is random.
It's worth noting that in Patch 3.29, Chromatic Orb mechanism underwent a significant change: each time a player uses it, at least one socket on the equipment is forced to become non-white, while the remaining sockets are reforged randomly according to normal probability.
This guaranteed mechanism ensures that players will get at least one colored socket every time they use a Chromatic Orb. Before this, unlucky players might even use hundreds of Chromatic Orbs without getting the desired color.
How to Use It?
You might think it's very simple - just right-click on it in your inventory and left-click on the target equipment. However, this approach can waste a lot of Chromatic Orbs.
This is because there are certain techniques involved in using Chromatic Orbs. Mastering these techniques allows you to reforge your desired color with minimal cost.
Color Reforging Rules
First, you must understand Chromatic Orb color reforging rules in POE Patch 3.29: equipment's attribute bias significantly affects the probability distribution of socket color generation.
Specifically, if an equipment's attribute bias is Strength, then using a Chromatic Orb will make it easier to reforge a red socket; similarly, Agility bias corresponds to green sockets, and Intelligence bias corresponds to blue sockets.
If your target color aligns with the prevailing attribute tendency of the gear - for example, if you want to reroll a red socket on a chest piece with high strength requirements - you're likely to achieve the target color with fewer Chromatic Orbs.
However, if your target color is the opposite of the attribute tendency (for example, rerolling a green socket on a high strength-requirement piece), you'll need to consume more Chromatic Orbs.
Understanding this rule allows you to use it flexibly, rerolling socket colors on gear with attributes corresponding to your target socket color to conserve Chromatic Orbs.
Crafting Bench Socket Color Change
However, many PoE players face a practical dilemma: their builds require socket colors that are the opposite of the gear's attribute tendency.
Don't worry, this doesn't mean they have to gamble with a large number of Chromatic Orbs. In Patch 3.29, there's a more controllable way to change socket colors than using it directly - Crafting Bench.
Players can use Chromatic Orbs in Crafting Bench to directly reroll non-white sockets. For example, consuming 5 Chromatic Orbs will yield at least two non-white sockets; 20 will yield at least three; and 75 will yield at least four.
While these recipes only guarantee the number of non-white sockets, not the specific color, the final color is still influenced by the equipment's attributes.
However, the value of Crafting Bench lies in raising the minimum acceptable result for socket color changes, increasing the probability of obtaining the desired socket color.
Of course, this guarantee comes at the cost of higher per-use costs - meaning you need to prepare a large amount of Path of Exile Chromatic Orbs beforehand.
Socket Colors on Corrupted Equipment
For corrupted equipment, Chromatic Orbs cannot change socket colors; players need to use Tainted Chromatic Orbs.
Crafting Bench socket color recipes can also be used on corrupted equipment, but each operation requires an additional amount of Vaal Orb on top of Chromatic Orb.
How to Obtain?
In PoE Patch 3.29, players have several ways to obtain Chromatic Orbs, including:
Monster Drops
Like most Currencies in the game, Chromatic Orbs have a chance to drop from monsters, chests, and destructible containers. According to player forum analysis, the drop rate from Arcanist's Strongbox is relatively high.
Due to the increased rarity of Chromatic Orbs in Patch 3.29, accumulating them through monster farming requires more patience than before.
Trading with Merchants
This is one of the most common and reliable ways to obtain Chromatic Orbs in the game: selling a piece of equipment with at least three connected sockets (red, green, and blue) to any merchant will grant you one Chromatic Orb.
These three-colored connected socket equipment can be obtained in various ways - either from monster drops or by purchasing basic equipment from merchants and then manually connecting the sockets with Jeweller's Orbs.
Redeem via Divination Cards
Divination Cards are another way to obtain Chromatic Orbs. Players can use one The Heroic Shot to redeem 17 Chromatic Orbs, or one Emperor's Luck to redeem 5 random Currencies of the same type.
Player Trading
As a Currency in PoE, Chromatic Orbs can be traded between players. Therefore, you can directly acquire them by trading with other players.
You can also follow EZG Facebook and participate in our giveaway events by tagging your friends and leaving a comment. You will have a chance to win Currencies, which may include Chromatic Orbs.
The above details how to use Chromatic Orbs to modify equipment socket colors in Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Curse of the Allflame and how to obtain them.
As a common and essential currency, players should stockpile as many Chromatic Orbs as possible to adjust socket colors at any time, thereby adjusting skill combinations and builds.
Path of Exile 3.29 Beast Farming: Is This Still One of the Best Ways to Make Currency?
In Path of Exile Patch 3.29, Beast Farming remains a very stable and worthwhile way to earn money. Especially for builds with fast map clearing capabilities, this strategy allows for stable income from high-value beasts.
Compared to some farming methods that require high initial investment, Beast Farming has a relatively low cost per map and is easier to learn.
This guide will give you a complete understanding of Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame Beast Farming Strategy, helping you farm beasts more efficiently and maximize your profits.
Atlas Tree
First, we need to configure POE Atlas Tree around three areas: Beast, Ore, and Mercenary. Beast Nodes are the core of this Atlas Tree. We need to invest enough points to transform Yellow Beasts into more valuable Red Beasts and increase the number of beasts in Wilds and Caverns.
Simultaneously, you need nodes that increase the spawn rate of rare Beasts and improve the probability of Beasts spawning in pairs. Finally, ensure that EinhAr appears more frequently on PoE maps so we can more consistently capture these high-value beasts.
Next are Ore Nodes. You need to ensure that multiple Ores appear consistently on each PoE map and increase the probability of Rare Varieties appearing. Our ultimate goal is to find Verisium Ore, as it can trigger Starfall Crater, providing an opportunity to pursue high-value rewards.
Finally, we select mercenary nodes. Mercenaries on the map can provide additional random rewards, such as Path of Exile Currency, Divines, or valuable Uniques.
Scarabs
Once Atlas Tree is set up, you can begin preparing PoE Mapping Materials. First, go to seller to obtain Bestiary Scarab of Duplicating, and prepare sufficient Path of Exile Chaos Orb.
The core function of Bestiary Scarab of Duplicating is to provide additional duplication rewards after capturing a Beast. When encountering high-value beasts like Black Morgan, a successful duplication trigger can potentially cover the cost of multiple maps in a single instance.
Because of the high rewards of Beast Farming in Curse of the Allflame, the demand for these scarabs increases. Additionally, Bestiary Scarab of the Herd is required. Each use generates 5 additional Red Beasts on the map.
Once the materials are prepared, enter the map interface, ensure you are switched to the correct Beast Atlas Tree, select Dunes, place Tier 16 White Map and the prepared scarabs, and you can begin farming.
Farming Strategy
Note that this strategy does not require the map to be Tier 16. A map Tier 14 or higher is acceptable. The advantage of white maps in PoE is their lower difficulty and faster traversal speed, allowing you to complete more maps per unit of time.
Once the map is activated, and you're in, Beast Farming strategy is quite simple. Your primary goal is to find high-value Red Beasts, and also keep an eye out for Yellow Beasts, which also have decent valued.
When you encounter a beast, kill it first, then wait a moment for EinhAr to capture it. As for which specific beasts to look for, you don't need to memorize them all at the beginning. Because Curse of the Allflame increases Beast spawn rates, after a few runs, you'll gradually become familiar with which Beasts in PoE are valuable and which can be ignored.
Visually, prioritize easily identifiable high-value Path of Exile Beasts, such as beasts with red spikes on their backs, gigantic spiders with white spots, significantly larger wilder beasts, and bears and dogs with distinctive red or white features. Additionally, some strangely shaped frogs, birds, or tentacled beasts may also be valuable.
Ideally, each map should be completed in about one minute. Once you spot a target beast, deal with it immediately. Don't waste time checking monsters that aren't valuable; after capturing them, continue clearing the map. If your build can quickly clear mobs, you should minimize the time spent on a single map and use more maps to increase overall efficiency.
Besides Beasts, keep an eye out for Starfall Craters on PoE maps. Enter them immediately and clear them quickly. As long as your build's map clearing ability is strong enough, this extra content won't take up too much time. Using this method, the cost per map is only about 45-50 Chaos Orbs, mainly from Scarabs and the map itself.
Menagerie Management
After completing a map, besides continuing to look for high-value Path of Exile Beasts, you also need to check Menagerie regularly. As you continue capturing Beasts, Menagerie will quickly reach its capacity limit. You need to clear it after about 25-30 maps.
Red Beasts usually have complete, clearly visible colored Beast images, while Yellow Beasts have simpler-looking images. When cleaning up, prioritize removing low-value Beasts while retaining valuable Red and Yellow Beasts.
To speed up Menagerie's cleanup, you can bind left mouse button to mouse wheel. Then fill Inventory with junk items and perform batch operations in Bestiary. This is much faster than using Control + Click individually.

The core of Path of Exile Beast Farming is not complicated. You don't need to completely copy this Atlas Tree; you can adjust it according to your build, budget, and market conditions to find the farming strategy that best suits you. As long as you are familiar with the value of Beasts and the main methods, you can make money long-term using this method.
Path of Exile Patch 3.29.3: Cursed Ducats Are Great, But Essence of Desolation Fix Sparks Controversy
To optimize the experience at the end of Patch 3.29, Path of Exile released Patch 3.29.3, fixing numerous bugs.
However, this small patch sparked discussion among some players. Some felt the patch actively addressed inconsistencies in the game, while others believed it changed things that shouldn't have been changed - such as Essence of Desolation.
So, are the changes in this patch good or bad?
Positive Changes: Cursed Ducats
First, most players expressed approval of the new Cursed Ducats added in POE Patch 3.29.3.
Cursed Ducats are new collectible items introduced in this update, with six types in total, used to enhance Voyages and Charts gameplay.
Players can find Valerie on The Sovereign and claim their first Cursed Ducat after defeating Velka for the first time. Subsequent Cursed Ducats are obtained randomly by defeating specific monsters in Voyages or Charts while the current Cursed Ducat is already socketed.
Mechanism of Operation
The operation of Cursed Ducats is straightforward: players can socket a maximum of three Cursed Ducats in their Voyage Planner simultaneously. Each Cursed Ducat provides three stackable basic buffs to monsters in Voyages and Charts:
First, Monster Toughness: This is essentially a damage reduction mechanism, not simply an increase in health.
For example, a monster with 1 million health and 600% toughness requires 7 million damage to kill, compared to a monster with 7 million health and 0% toughness. However, their effects on life steal and damage over time caps will differ.
Second, Quantity of Items Dropped: Directly increases the total amount of loot dropped.
Third, Rarity of Items Dropped: Increases the probability of dropping high-quality equipment.
If you acquire all three buffs, they can collectively provide up to 60% increased Quantity of Items Dropped and 60% increased Rarity of Items Dropped, equivalent to gaining an additional high-value Map Modifier.
Negative Modifiers
In addition, each Cursed Ducat comes with a unique negative Difficulty Modifier, which players need to carefully choose based on their character build.
For example, some Cursed Ducats increase monster damage by 50%, some increase monster elemental resistance by 10%, some increase monster critical strike chance by 500% and critical strike damage by 50%, and others increase monster attack, casting, and movement speed by 50%.
The intention behind this design is clear: to allow players to actively choose the negative effect that has the least impact on their class build, thereby finding a balance between high rewards and manageable risks.
For example, builds with low elemental resistance will avoid Cursed Ducats, which increase monster elemental resistance by 10%, while melee classes might prefer Cursed Ducats that increase monster critical strike chance.
In short, this change is widely considered one of the most useful positive changes in PoE Patch 3.29.3, and even players who don't approve of Patch 3.29.3 will acknowledge the usefulness of Cursed Ducats.
It will significantly increase the benefits players can obtain in Voyages and Charts, including Path of Exile Currency, gear, and items.
Negative Change: Essence of Desolation
Since Cursed Ducats have received so much praise, why do many players dislike Patch 3.29.3? The reason lies in its changes to Essence of Desolation.
What is Essence of Desolation?
Essence of Desolation was a powerful item introduced in PoE Patch 3.28, and its accompanying modifier combinations were extremely valuable in certain builds.
When Patch 3.29 was released, following past practice, Essence of Desolation was supposed to become Legacy Items - meaning they would be discontinued.
Bug and Fix
However, in the early stages of Patch 3.29's release, due to a bug, players could still obtain equipment with Essence modifier by using a node in Atlas Passive - Imprisoned Monsters in your Maps - which allowed them to drop an additional Rare Item with an Essence Modifier.
Some astute players exploited this bug to hoard large quantities of this equipment.
This bug was fixed in Patch 3.29.3 by completely eliminating all acquisition methods for Essence Modifier in PoE.
The crux of the problem is that existing equipment with Essence modifier, as well as equipment duplicated through Mirror of Kalandra, remains unaffected and continues to exist in the game.
Fairness Crisis
As a result, after Patch 3.29.3 took effect, existing Essence modifier equipment became truly unavailable, giving players who possessed this equipment and Mirror of Kalandra a monopolistic advantage.
They could continue to offer duplication services at exorbitant prices, with prices only increasing.
Furthermore, since equipment duplicates created through Mirror of Kalandra can no longer be duplicated, other players, regardless of their resources, can no longer craft Essence modifier equipment themselves.
Because obtaining Essence of Desolation was already extremely difficult and niche, it didn't have a devastating impact on the overall game economy.
Therefore, the developers handled this bug so casually, ultimately leaving an irreversible inequality. This has greatly angered some players.
While this doesn't directly impact the daily gameplay experience for most ordinary players, as the player community worries, will this precedent lead to more similar situations in the future?
In short, Path of Exile Patch 3.29.3 is a mixed bag. On one hand, it fixed numerous in-game bugs and increased the rewards for Voyages and Charts in Cursed Ducats system; on the other hand, the fix for Essence of Desolation bug resulted in unfairness.
Due to widespread player protests, based on past experience, the developers may further address this bug and other in-game bugs in the next patch.

PoE 3.29.3 Beast Farming Guide: The Best Beasts to Keep and Sell
Path of Exile Patch 3.29.3 has been released, introducing new Voyage improvements, Cursed Ducats, and multiple gameplay fixes. With the latest update continuing to improve the league experience, players are once again focusing on efficient farming methods.
Beast Farming has always been a stable source of income in PoE, but the tedious management of Menagerie has led many players to abandon it.
However, in Curse of the Allflame, with increased crafting requirements, the prices of some key Beasts have started to rise, especially Red Beast, used for high-level crafting, which has maintained a consistently good market demand.
Now, the focus of Beast farming isn't simply catching more Beasts, but increasing the probability of encountering high-value Beasts and quickly disposing of the low-value ones.
Beast Farming
The continued profitability of Beast Farming is largely because some Beasts consistently have clear crafting uses, and player demand for them doesn't easily disappear. The Black Mórrigan is one of the most sought-after targets in Patch 3.29.3.
As more players craft high-level gear, the demand for these crucial Beasts continues to rise. The price of The Black Mórrigan largely depends on market supply and demand; when demand is high, the value of a single Beast can even exceed Path of Exile Currency gains from a regular map.
Besides The Black Mórrigan, Craicic Croaker is another Red Beast with relatively stable demand. It has fixed uses in certain crafting processes, so even with market price fluctuations, there is still consistent demand for it. For players who specialize in Beast Farming, these rare Beasts are the real determinant of their profits.
Of course, Beast Farming doesn't guarantee encounters of high-value Beasts every time. Most Beasts are actually quite ordinary in price, and the profits mainly come from the occasional rare target caught.
Basic Gameplay
The efficiency of Beast Farming depends primarily on how many Beasts you encounter on a single map.
In Curse of the Allflame, players typically increase Beast spawn rates through Atlas Passive Trees and map enhancements. Some also combine this with other map mechanics to maximize rewards per run.
The advantage of this approach is that it doesn't require PoE players to completely revolve their run routes around Beasts. Even if you primarily run other Atlas content, you can still accumulate Beast resources.
However, when sorting these Beasts, you don't need to keep them all.
While common Yellow Beasts are more numerous, their individual value is usually limited; Red Beasts spawn less frequently but are more likely to provide high-value rewards. Often, the profit from a run doesn't come from numerous common Beasts, but from a few key targets.
Therefore, don't try to save every Beast you catch, or you'll quickly run into Menagerie sorting problem.
Beasts to Keep
In Patch 3.29.3, The Black Mórrigan and Craicic Croaker remain the most worthwhile Red Beasts to keep in Beast Farming.
The price of The Black Mórrigan is primarily influenced by crafting demand. However, as long as high-level gear crafting remains active, there will continue to be players looking for these Beasts on the market.
The situation is similar for Craicic Croaker. Because it has a fixed use in certain crafting processes, many players prioritize keeping these easily sellable targets when clearing Menagerie.
Of course, other Red Beasts are not entirely without value. While some Beasts may currently have average prices, their trading value could increase significantly if the corresponding crafting demand rises.
Menagerie Clearing
Many players ultimately abandon Beast Farming not because of insufficient returns, but because of the challenges of clearing Menagerie.
In Curse of the Allflame's Beast Farming, continuing to indiscriminately save Beasts when Menagerie is nearing full capacity will only make subsequent management increasingly difficult. It's advisable to start clearing out targets with clearly no trading value.
Beasts in specific uses, low market demand, and consistently low prices don't occupy much space. Many players worry about future price increases for these beasts, but PoE market changes very quickly. Instead of holding a large inventory of low-value items, it's better to allocate space to targets with higher current demand.
Remaining beasts can be categorized by value. High-value Red Beasts should be kept separately for later sale or crafting; Yellow Beasts, which are more numerous, can be sold depending on market conditions.
Beast Categorization
Before Patch 3.29.3, many people new to Beast Farming tended to judge beast value by color: Red Beasts were kept directly, while Yellow Beasts were ignored by default.
However, in actual PoE trading, color should only be used as a reference.
Red Beasts are indeed more likely to be high-value targets and are usually worth prioritizing, but many are of average price and don't need to be included in Menagerie.
The situation is reversed for Yellow Beasts. While most Beasts have low unit prices, some types with stable production demand still have a trading market. Once accumulated to a certain quantity, they can also generate additional revenue.
Therefore, when organizing Beasts, the focus should be on actual market demand. Red Beasts can be prioritized for inspection, while Yellow Beasts should be quickly filtered out as having no clear value. Don't waste a lot of time researching ordinary Beasts one by one; otherwise, the revenue from farming will be dragged down by the organization process.
With proper Beast selection and Menagerie management, Beast Farming can remain a reliable way to earn PoE Currency in Patch 3.29.3. Follow EZG Facebook for more Path of Exile updates, and don't miss Player's Choice Giveaway. Remember to @ your friends and followers who are interested in PoE to join the event and share it with more players.
Beast Farming isn't about making money from a single high-value Beast drop, but accumulating revenue through continuous farming and proper management. As long as you master Beast selection, inventory organization, and PoE market judgment, this approach can still be a stable way to make money in Patch 3.29.3.
