WoW MoP Classic 2 Biggest Complaints From Players: Is There Any Way To Save This Expansion?
In the current WoW MoP Classic, despite the fact that new content is released every week, the player response has been less than enthusiastic, mainly due to two serious complaints about the expansion. This guide will explain them in detail and provide some suggestions for the developers.
It’s been over three weeks since the release of World of Warcraft’s new expansion, Mists of Pandaria Classic. Players are already midway through Phase 1, which is already actively being explored. According to the developer’s roadmap, the next phase is even likely to be released by the end of this month.
Based on the current trajectory of the gaming industry, Mists of Pandaria Classic should be a rising star. Unfortunately, despite the developer’s deliberate delays in releasing the game’s first raid and a new dungeon, player reaction to the expansion remains extremely negative.

Current Situation
Based on player feedback across major gaming platforms and within the community, many people who initially tried Mists of Pandaria Classic for its new expansion and intriguing storyline have abandoned it after a few weeks (an average of two weeks), turning to more established games like Old School Runescape or Turtle WoW.
This situation is detrimental to both players and developers: players can’t find more effective allies for teamwork-intensive tasks like completing raids and clearing dungeons; and developers can’t generate corresponding revenue from attracting new players.
Based on the current comments, here are two complaints that players have repeatedly mentioned, and some feasible solutions have been proposed. Although there is no guarantee that the developers will see and respond in time, it is also very good to act as a megaphone for the players.
Complaint 1: Excessive Grinding
The primary complaint from players is that grinding and farming in the game are extremely cumbersome and require excessive effort, whether it’s gear, experience points, or Mists of Pandaria Classic gold. While this process was necessary during Phase 1, especially before the release of Mogu’shan Vaults, it was simply too difficult.
While the explorable content in Throne of Thunder, Siege of Orgrimmar, and Timeless Isle is very compelling, the character levels required are prohibitively high. At levels 85-90, players can’t earn enough experience and gold to improve their character’s level and power in a single run, often requiring four or five resets to advance a level.
Under these circumstances, even high-level players who are adept at farming XP and understanding the rules of the game can become exhausted by the endless grind. Even the incredibly rich loot offered by Celestial Dungeons, which just launched two days ago, can’t rekindle their interest in exploration.
This can even lead to a vicious cycle - players become frustrated by their inability to defeat bosses or complete dungeons, prompting developers to quickly release new content, but its difficulty remains high, significantly hindering the exploration of players who actively level up their alt-characters and grind for gear to share with their main accounts.

While adjustments to the game’s difficulty will undoubtedly occur in WoW Classic MoP patch 5.3 or later, the overall number of active players will probably be significantly reduced by that time. Therefore, developers can consider providing players with cumulative experience bonuses for each level gained in subsequent content, which can be used to level up their characters.
Or, improve the quality or quantity of rewards offered for each accessible content. For example, in Celestial Dungeons, add more PvP gear and a large amount of in-game gold. This allows players to increase their specialization skills after successfully completing a dungeon, allowing them to quickly enter PvP content and earn more rewards, thus making their grind feel worthwhile.
As for regular player farming for Reputation Points, Valor Points, and Profession levels, it’s best to reduce its difficulty by patch 5.2 or before Heart of Fear raid launches. This will alleviate the pain of grinding for gear in the early game, increase interest in the new content, and make exploring it less of a chore.
Complaint 2: Too Many Bugs
Another complaint from player reviews is the constant occurrence of various game lags and crashes during exploration. This is unacceptable for a game with over 20 years of development history and a firm foundation of excellent original expansions.
Furthermore, since the release of WoW Classic Mists of Pandaria, the developers have been releasing hotfixes two or three times a week, each covering various areas such as classes, raids, dungeons, quests, and quality of life. While these updates are perfectly normal for MMOs, the frequency is exceptionally high.
Not only does this make many aspects of the game unfamiliar to players who have limited time to explore Pandaria after a long hiatus, but it also hinders players who log in daily and work hard to improve their characters, making it difficult to accurately formulate strategies, like farming MoP Classic gold, which is detrimental to player retention.
Although this is a common problem for all games released by this developer, and it is difficult to solve all in-game problems at once, it is still sincerely suggested that the developer can shut down the game before all players enter Phase 2 or Phase 3, and solve all the current complaints in the first patch after the server is launched, just like POE, but it cannot not update new leagues like it for nearly a year.
These are the two most common player complaints about WoW MoP Classic, along with some suggestions for developers. While developing and releasing a game is no easy feat, it’s unbelievable that a developer with such extensive experience and experience could produce a game that fails to satisfy both new players and longtime fans. Anyway, happy gaming!

WoW MoP Classic Phase 3 Release Date, New Zones, World Bosses, Raid And Legendary Questline
The highly anticipated WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 3 will launch on December 9th at 3 PM PST, bringing a wealth of new content for both new and veteran players.
At that time, you can enter the game and enjoy the brand new experience it brings as soon as possible.
Below, I will provide a detailed introduction to its new content, helping you stay ahead of the curve in the latest news of WoW MoP Classic Phase 3.
Legendary Questline: Two Princes
To unlock this storyline, players of different factions will need to complete different quests. However, the quest flow is similar: you'll need to find a specific NPC in Shado-Pan Garrison in Townlong Steppes to report to them and begin the questline.
Following the questline, players will gradually unlock the Isle of Thunder.
Completing a series of quests will reward you with various prizes, including common WoW MoP Classic gold, valuable weapons and Legendary meta gems.
You can choose one of the following gems to equip on a helmet obtained from the Throne of Thunder raid:
- Indomitable Primal Diamond
- Courageous Primal Diamond
- Capacitive Primal Diamond
- Sinister Primal Diamond
These Legendary meta gems have different effects and buffs; you can choose to accord to your needs.
New Zones
The two newly added zones expand the map of WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic, bringing players different but equally challenging content.
Isle Of Thunder
This is the highlight area of WoW MoP Classic Phase 3. Here, players will advance the main questline and undertake exciting and thrilling challenges.
Players will join a new faction, either Kirin Tor Offensive or Sunreaver Onslaught, to team up with Shado-Pan Assault to storm Throne of Thunder raid and prevent Lei Shen, the ancient Mogu emperor, from conquering Pandaria once again.
Isle Of Giants
Compared to Isle of Thunder, players will face a more focused challenge in Isle of Giants. Here, players can hunt to collect Dinosaur Bones, which can be exchanged for generous rewards.
Notably, you'll also have the opportunity to unlock rare pets and mounts in WoW MoP Classic Phase 3 through special quests and mob farming, such as Spectral Porcupette, Zandalari Toenibbler, and Bone-White Primal Raptor.
Furthermore, both areas feature World Bosses. Defeating them will yield substantial rewards, which I will detail below.
New World Boss
Nalak
Nalak is located in Isle of Thunder. To find it, at least one faction on your server must have completed Stage 5 Isle of Thunder campaign.
Nalak's special ability allows him to unleash Lightning Tether on multiple players. Additionally, he can perform periodic attacks that inflict high damage on players within his attack range.
Therefore, regardless of player type, maintaining a safe distance is crucial when fighting Nalak to create sufficient space for survival.
Defeating Nalak will reward you with Normal Tier 15 Legs and Gloves, as well as a large amount of PvP gear. If you're lacking this type of equipment, consider focusing your efforts on fighting Nalak.
Oondasta
Oondasta is located in the center of Isle of Giants and can be easily found on WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 3 map.
Due to Alpha Male's unique nature, players cannot target Tanks when fighting Oondasta. Therefore, Tanks must initiate the attack at the start of the fight to ensure Tank gains aggro.
Defeating Oondasta will reward players with Epic 522 item-level gear, which can only be obtained from World Bosses, making it a good way to acquire loot.
New Raid: Throne Of Thunder
It's important to note that Throne of Thunder will not be available with the launch of WoW MoP Classic Phase 3, which will open on December 11th at 3:00 PM PST.
As a new raid instance, Throne of Thunder contains 13 bosses and supports 10-player or 25-player groups for Normal or Heroic difficulty challenges.
The rewards differ depending on the difficulty level. Normal difficulty will drop level 522 items, while Heroic difficulty will drop level 535 items.
In addition, this raid has another special feature: Thunderforged.
After completing the Throne of Thunder raid, all boss drops have a chance of being Thunderforged, which will increase the item level by 6.
Additionally, for non-Thunderforged items, players can use Justice Points to upgrade their item level to the same level. This means that even if players don't obtain Thunderforged items during challenges, they can still narrow the gap.
New Factions
As mentioned above, several new factions have emerged in WoW MoP Phase 3.
- Kirin Tor Offensive: Led by Jaina Proudmoore, its aim is to secure the Isle of Thunder for Alliance.
- Sunreaver Onslaught: Led by Lor'themar, its aim is to excavate Mogu treasures and accumulate vast wealth for the future of Sunreavers.
- Shado-Pan Assault: A branch of Shado-Pan, an elite force led by Taran Zhu.
By completing daily and campaign quests, you can increase your reputation with either Kirin Tor Offensive or Sunreaver Onslaught, and have a chance to obtain valuable Epic gear and mounts.
For the relatively neutral Shado-Pan Assault, you can accumulate reputation by killing Trash mobs, bosses, and Ra-den in the Throne of Thunder raid.
In addition, you can improve your reputation by completing weekly Champions of Thunder King quests and obtaining Shado-Pan Assault Insignia. As your reputation increases, you'll acquire a large amount of valuable Epic gear.
It's clear that the game offers a wealth of new content for both new and returning players. WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 3 is about to begin. Get ready to join in for an exhilarating battle.
WoW MoP Classic Brewfest Is Grand Opening! | Locations, Quests And Rewards
World of Warcraft players, another grand in-game festival has begun! The latest Brewfest based on Oktoberfest, which kicks off at Mists of Pandaria Classic on September 20th and ends at 10:00 AM PST on October 6th, comes with some seriously generous rewards.
During this event, Horde and Alliance players will temporarily cease hostilities and celebrate together to enjoy the fruits of the harvest, including pretzels, cheese, and liquor. And here, major breweries in the game, such as Thunderbrew, Barleybrew, and Ogres gather together to strive to win this event with their own characteristics.
And you, my friend, as an adventurer on the continent of Pandaria, it’s time to have a drink in this event and try to get the tokens that will be rewarded to you. They can be exchanged for Brewfest clothing, toys and festive transformations for your mounts.
To help you complete the challenges and claim all the rewards more quickly, this guide will provide a detailed introduction to WoW MoP Classic Brewfest event, including the event location, quests, rewards offered, and strategies you can use.
Location
First, let’s take a look at the location of your camp during Beer Festival in Mists of Pandaria Classic. This is your base of operations for the duration of the festival, allowing you to take on quests and earn festive rewards, like pets and alcohol.
Like most quest interaction points, Horde player’s camp is separate from Alliance player’s. Horde Brewfest Camp is located on the west side of Durotar, specifically outside Gates of Orgrimmar. When you reach this gate, go right, and you will eventually see a barracks camp run by a man called Tapper Swindlekeg.
As for Alliance Brewfest Camp, it’s located at the foot of the mountain outside Gates of Ironforge. Also from this gate, walk forward and look to the right, and you’ll find the corresponding camp, run by Ipfelkofer Ironkeg.
In addition to these two camps where you can exchange rewards, Beer Gardens located in major cities, such as Shattrath, also allow you to exchange tokens earned from challenges for food, beer, and other beverages.
Specific Content
In fact, the Brewfest festival in this new game in the series has not undergone any major changes compared to the previous expansions. The only difference is that the item level of the epic gear available has been increased to level 489, and all items provided by vendors in the camps of the two factions are related to Pandaria, such as Brewhelm and Pandaren Brewpack.
Also worth mentioning is Brewfest Experience Buff, which is a unique benefit provided to players for this event. During the event, every day at 6:15 AM and 6:15 PM (server time) Mekkatorque and Saurfang will give a speech at their respective camps, which grants a buff to everyone nearby. It increases your experience earned during these 2 hours by 10%, even if you die during this time.
Next up is the most important challenge you’ll encounter in the event: the encounter with Brewfest Boss Coren Direbrew, a level 85 Elite Boss who resides as a Grim Guzzler in Blackrock Depths. Since this boss is shared by all players in the game, you will need to queue up for this encounter using Dungeon Finder tool.
When you kill Coren Direbrew for the first time, he rewards you with a quest item, Direbrew’s Dire, which can be used to open Direbrew’s Dire Brew, located in Durotar (Horde) or Dun Morogh (Alliance), which ultimately rewards you with 40 Brewfest Prize Tokens, some WoW MoP Classic gold, and other loot.
Quests
Next, let’s take a look at what quests are available to players during this holiday event and how to complete them. Incidentally, some of these quests can be completed repeatedly to earn additional tokens. Let’s first look at the non-repeating quests.
Brewfest!
This quest only requires you to talk to Brewfest Organizer outside Brewfest Grounds held by Ironforge or Orgrimmar. The specific NPC will depend on the faction you choose. After completing it, you will receive a free beer, which can be selected from Barleybrew Clear, Thunder 45 and Gordok Grog.
Welcome To Brewfest!
After you complete Brewfest!, you can continue talking to Brewfest organizer to get another free beer. This time, you can choose between Barleybrew Clear, Thunder 45, and Gordok Grog. There are no intermediate steps here, just claim your reward directly.
Chug And Chuck!
Afterwards, you can go to Boxey Boltspinner or Bizzle Quicklift and use the free Complimentary Brewfest Sampler to hit Self-Turning and Oscillating Utility Target 5 times, which will give you 10 Brewfest Prize Tokens.
Pink Elekks On Parade
To do this, you need to go to Beer Gardens in Stormwind, Darnassus, and Exodar, and stun three elekks at each location before returning to your camp to receive 40 event tokens. Note that the pink elekks can only be seen if you are drunk or wearing Synthebrew Goggles, which are granted by Goldark Snipehunter or Glodrak Huntsniper.
Catch The Wild Wolpertinger!
Likewise, this quest requires you to capture 5 Stunned Wolpertingers while drunk or wearing Synthebrew Goggles, which rewards you with Wolpertinger’s Tankard.
Now This is Ram Racing... Almost.
This is one of the more complex tasks in the event: you will enter a Ram Racing, which will provide you with a temporary Riding Ram and Ram Racing Reins. In this game, you need to use reins to control the speed of the ram in order to complete the task of maintaining 3 different speeds within 8 seconds.
- Trot (25% increased mount speed) - lose 2 Ram Fatigue every 2 sec
- Canter (100% increased mount speed) - gain 1 Ram Fatigue every 2 sec
- Gallop (185% increased mount speed) - gain 5 Ram Fatigue every 2 sec
The duration of the entire task is 4 minutes. If you exceed the time limit, your mount will disappear, and you will need to start over. After successfully completing it, you will activate Ram Racing Daily Quest, which is updated every day, and a Brewfest Stein Voucher.
Say, There Wouldn’t Happen To Be A Souvenir This Year, Would There?
After completing the above competition tasks, take your Brewfest Stein Voucher to either Belbi Quikswitch or Blix Fixwidget to redeem your ultimate prize: Blue Brewfest Stein.
There And Back Again
The following quests are repeatable. Alliance players need to obtain a keg from Flynn Firebrew in Kharanos and deliver it back to Pol Amberstill; Horde players need to obtain a keg from a goblin along the road to Bladefist Bay and deliver it to Ram Master Ray’s assistant. Both will reward you with 2 tokens.
This One Time, When I Was Drunk...
During the event, Dark Iron Dwarves will invade Brewfest every 30 minutes, and you will need to defeat them. Note that there are no rewards for winning this encounter, but you can collect random drops of Dark Iron Mole Machine Wreckage after the invasion ends; these can be traded with in-game vendors for 10 Brewfest Tokens.
Rewards
In addition to the festive items and event tokens you receive for completing each quest, the first time you defeat Coren Direbrew each day will reward you with a Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest, which contains a variety of valuable items, such as gold, loot, and popular mounts like Great Brewfest Kodo and Swift Brewfest Ram.
This concludes our guide to the current Brewfest event in WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic. We hope this guide helps you enjoy the event and successfully complete all the activities to earn your rewards. Happy gaming!
WoW MoP Classic Brawler’s Guild Full Guide Revealed! | Location, Strategy And Rewards
WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 2 is set to arrive on September 23rd, bringing with it a new campaign, a legendary questline, additional factions, and fresh scenarios. While all of these updates are exciting, the highlight for many players is undoubtedly the return of Brawler’s Guild, a feature that promises to make gameplay even more thrilling and competitive.
This event throws you into intense 1v1 battles against powerful in-game bosses. Even though their attack patterns won’t drastically change, facing them without teammates means you’ll need sharp reflexes and solid strategies. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know, from the event’s location to winning tactics and rewards, so you can step into the arena fully prepared.
Location
First, let’s take a look at the specific location of this guild in the game. Horde players and Alliance players will go in two different directions:
- Horde: Brawl’gar Arena’s entrance is in Orgrimmar, which is located in Northern area of Valley of Honor.
- Alliance: The entrance to Bizmo’s Brawlpub is located in Stormwind, which is in Northwestern area of Elwynn Forest.
Now that you know Brawler’s Guild’s specific locations in both factions, don’t rush to it. You’ll need to have a Blood-Soaked Invitation, the most important prerequisite for accessing the event. You can obtain it from Auction House for some WoW MoP Classic gold.
Also, you can obtain it from specific monsters and boss encounters associated with the two new factions, Operation: Shieldwall or Dominance Offensive in Krasarang Wilds. Here are the enemy names and locations that can provide you with invitations.
Alliance
- Kar Warmaker (/way 13.4 54.8)
- Muerta (/way 9.6 54.6)

Horde
- Dalan Nightbreaker (/way 85.0 27.6)
- Disha Fearwarden (/way 87.4 29.2)

Since the current specializations possess higher damage and survivability, the monsters and enemies in Krasarang Wilds, the main zone of the campaign, will be more challenging than in the previous phase. Furthermore, these invitations have a certain drop rate and are not guaranteed, so please pay attention to your character’s status and your investment when farming them multiple times.
Strategy
Before you begin your exploration of Brawler’s Guild, make sure several parts of your screen are clearly visible: enemy spell bars and enemy nameplates, which will allow you to easily find the boss’s location in the arena and the strength of the damage they can deal to you during the battle.
Furthermore, before entering the arena, you should be as familiar with the boss’s combat mechanics and damage types as possible so that you can modify your Talents with Dust of Dissappearance. If the enemy has high health or strong resistance, it is important to bring Flask and Buff Food, which will be very important in a long battle.
It’s worth noting that Brawler’s Guild Arena is instanced, so it’s shared with other players. If you’re in the queue, you can click the telescope next to Quartermaster to watch other players fight in the Arena. When it’s your turn, you need to interact with any Arena Grunt and select Yes, Sign me Up for a Fight option to start the fight. The following are the boss names for each rank.

However, some players speculate that MoP may follow the previous phase and provide players with explorable content in batches. Who can say for sure? We can only wait and see.

WoW MoP Classic Phase 2 Landfall: What New Content Is Expected To Be Brought To Players? - Release Date & Content Details
WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic, which has been attracting much attention recently, is expected to usher in its first major content update on September 23, namely the launch of Phase 2 called Landfall. In this update, the developers will bring players new campaign content, reputations, scenarios, and systems.
According to some published information, the war between Horde and Alliance on Pandaria will spread to the coast of Krasarang Wilds, where all players will need to build new bases, compete for resources, and complete daily tasks to receive more loot and faction reputation points.
To help all players prepare for Phase 2 of Mists of Pandaria Classic, this guide will summarize all the released content and leaks to give you an overview of what’s coming in this update, including release dates, content details, and some possible exploration tips.
Release Date
In the official MoP Classic Roadmap, Phase 2 Landfall is scheduled to be officially released in NA realms on September 23, 2025, and will be released in EU realms the day after due to time zone reasons.
Content Details
Now comes the most important part of this guide. In summary, Phase 2 adds a new Quest Campaign, two Factions, a Legendary Chapter, a new tournament format, Brawler’s Guild, five new Scenarios, and a host of updates. Let’s take a look at each one.
New Quest Campaign
The main battleground in WoW Classic is between Horde and Alliance, and MoP Classic is no exception. As the fog clears, their war continues to Krasarang Wilds, and as the most loyal followers of these two factions, you need to help your fleets land on this continent, which is where the theme of this update comes in.
The specific ways to compete are: building bases, collecting resources, hunting rare monsters, etc. The campaign begins with Meet the Scout quest, which automatically pops up the first time you log in after Phase 2 Landfall is activated. If you accidentally close it, you can pick it up by visiting Sunwalker Dezco or Lyalia in Pandaria capital city.
New Factions
With the addition of Krasarang Wilds, two new factions have been added to MoP Classic: Operation: Shieldwall and Dominance Offensive, which the gear rewards they offer as you progress through the campaign are mostly the same, just with different names.
What is worth mentioning here are the faction-exclusive mounts they reward you with: Grand Armored Gryphon and Grand Armored Wyvern. One is a ground mount, and the other is a flying mount.
As in Phase 1, you’ll earn reputation points specific to these two factions by completing daily quests and Campaign to receive item rewards such as Helmbreaker Medallion, Shock-Charger Medallion, Vaporshield Medallion, and Arrowflight Medallion.
Legendary Chapter
As the game content develops, the next chapter of Wrathion’s Legendary Questline in the game will also begin. In this new chapter, you need to focus on the faction conflict in Krasarang Wilds, such as participating in PvP in this zone, completing battles in Temple of Kotmogu and Silvershard Mines Battlegrounds, and killing General of the opposing faction.
According to some leaked information, players generally feel that the battles in this Legendary Chapter will be more difficult than those in Phase 1. On the one hand, the combat mechanism of NPC enemies may be modified, and on the other hand, PvP combat ability and survivability of all players at this stage are very strong.
So after you complete Incoming... quest, which will require you to build an outpost for your faction in Krasarang Wilds and before begin this chapter of exploration, invest as much WoW MoP Classic Gold as possible in your character to maximize its effectiveness.
Before you can begin this new chapter, you must first reach Revered in the Black Prince faction’s reputation system and complete the Breath of the Black Prince quest, which will require you to unlock Domination Point or Lion’s Landing. Completing this new Legendary Chapter rewards you with Eye of the Black Prince, which adds a prismatic socket to Sha-Touched weapons.
Brawler’s Guild
To add some competitive excitement to the mythical WoW MoP Classic, the developers have added a new competition format, Brawler’s Guild, where you will face off against various challenging bosses in a 1v1 arena.
To start this fight, you need to have a Blood-Soaked Invitation, which you can get from exploring in Krasarang Wilds or from Auction House for some in-game gold. The following are the names and locations of NPCs that can provide you with invitations. After you receive Blood-Soaked Invitation, you can go to Stormwind or Orgrimmar to find Brawler’s Guild and start the battle.
Alliance
- Kar Warmaker (/way 13.4 54.8)
- Muerta (/way 9.6 54.6)
- Ubunti the Shade (/way 13.2 66.0)
Horde
- Dalan Nightbreaker (/way 85.0 27.6)
- Disha Fearwarden (/way 87.4 29.2)
- Mavis Harms (/way 84.6 31.0)
Scenarios
Phase 2 of MoP Classic also adds 5 new explorable Scenarios for all players, two of which are exclusive to Horde or Alliance respectively, and 3 are universal, each with different exploration objectives.
- Assault on Zan’vess: You are needed to assist Klaxxi in attacking Zan’vess and reclaiming Mantid weapons.
- A Little Patience: Your assistance is needed to recapture Temple of the Red Crane from King Varian Wrynn.
- Dagger in the Dark: Your assistance to Vol’jin is needed to monitor a Saurok-infested cavern.
- Lion’s Landing (Alliance): You are needed to protect Lion’s Landing from Horde’s attack.
- Domination Point (Horde): You are required to defend Dominance Point against Alliance attacks.
Item Upgrade System
To address player complaints about the difficulty obtaining high-value items, Mists of Pandaria Classic added an Item Upgrade System in Phase 2, which allowed you to upgrade your end-game gear once or twice, as well as 8 additional item levels.
- Rare Dungeon Gear: 750 Justice Points for 8 item levels
- Rare PvP Gear: 1000 Honor Points for 8 item levels
- Epic PvE Gear: 1000 Justice Points for 4 item levels, 2000 for 8 item levels
- Epic PvP Gear: 1500 Honor Points for 4 item levels, 3000 for 8 item levels
The above are some of the new additions and improvements currently known in WoW MoP Classic Phase 2 Landfall. I hope you can find more interesting ways to explore in this new season and find all the rewards you need on the continent of Pandaria. I wish you a happy game!
WoW MoP Classic A Brewing Storm Scenario Guide Is Here For You - Exploration Strategy & Stage Breakdown
In the new Mists of Pandaria Classic expansion launched by WoW Classic some time ago, the developers added a new feature called Scenarios to enrich the player’s exploration experience. The main content it contains is the same as raids and dungeons, but it will focus more on storytelling.
Currently, there are 6 scenarios in MoP Classic for players to explore. Among them, A Brewing Storm is the most popular among players because the battles in it are simpler than others and the story it presents is very interesting.
To make exploring this scene easier for you, this guide will introduce you to the exploration strategies available in A Brewing Storm, as well as a detailed explanation of each stage.
Brief Introduction
A Brewing Storm located in The Jade Forest is the third scenario you encounter in order in WoW Classic Mists of Pandaria. And this scenario is the main prerequisite for completing Blanche’s Boomer Brew quest. It’s a faster-paced, more exploratory experience than the first two.
In this scenario, you need to go through three stages: extinguishing the fire to help brew the perfect brew, escorting Brewmaster Blanche through Jade Forest, and completing the final confrontation with Borokhula the Destroyer to save Thunderpaw Refuge.
Joining a scenario is no different from a regular raid and dungeon: simply queue up in the Looking for Dungeon system. However, it’s important to note that unlike raids or dungeons, scenarios don’t require specific characters in your party. So, as long as all characters on your team are level 85 or higher and meet the required number of players, you can queue up.
Stage Breakdown
After having a brief understanding of A Brewing Storm Scenario, it is time to have a detailed introduction to the three stages: Make Boomer’s Brew, Road to Thunderpaw, and Save Thunderpaw Refuge. The following are the strategies you can use when exploring them.
Make Boomer’s Brew
Your ultimate goal in this stage is to assist Brewmaster Blanche in brewing the famous Boomer’s Brew. First, she’ll place five barrels of brew around herself. These will occasionally catch fire, so you’ll need to extinguish the flames by repeatedly tapping on them. Meanwhile, adds will appear sporadically on either side, requiring DPS to destroy them with area-of-effect damage.
While extinguishing the fire and killing the monsters, there will be some thunderstrikes that will cause some damage to AoE projectiles near the lightning conduits. So, be careful to avoid them when completing the task.
Once no one on your team is hit by thunderstrikes during this phase, you can claim The Perfect Pour achievement, which will give you some WoW MoP Classic Gold and reputation points.
Road To Thunderpaw
The second stage is the easiest part of the entire scene to explore, and you only need to escort Blanche along Thunderpaw Road. Of course, this process will not be smooth sailing. There will be a lot of adds on the hillside that you need to deal with.
After you send Blanche to the edge of the forest, she’ll interact with you and ask you to go to Thunderpaw Refuge, which is the final stage of this scene takes place.
Since you will be fighting a boss next, it is recommended that you spend some in-game gold on your character to increase damage and defense before heading to the next stage.
Save Thunderpaw Refuge
The final stage requires you to engage in a battle with Borokhula the Destroyer, which primarily utilizes two attack mechanics: Swamp Smash, which causes the boss to unleash a massive shockwave in front of itself, and Earth Shattering, which causes the boss to summon small rings around the room and spawn an earth pillar from them that deals massive damage.
Through the comments and feedback of many players, we can know that Earth Shattering is the easier one of the two, as long as you observe the ground in time; while Swamp Smash requires you to get behind the boss as much as possible and avoid the shock wave before the blow falls, which requires a higher level of mobility of your character.
Additionally, some Adds will appear in the room and attack friendly NPCs: Thunderpaw Guardians. When they die, they will turn and attack you. Please note that the boss’s attacks during the battle can also cause damage to Adds, so you can use the boss’s power to eliminate them or deal with them yourself if you have strong damage capabilities.
Alternatively, kill the first wave of Adds before they start damaging allies, which will reset NPCs’ health. If your damage isn’t that strong, you can use Threat on them first, which will cause Adds’ health to drop faster. Killing Borokhula with all six Thunderpaw Guardians alive will earn you the Party of Six achievement.
As long as you successfully kill Borokhula the Destroyer, you will get A Brewing Storm achievement, and if you don’t get hit by Swamp Smash once, you can also get Don’t Shake the Keg achievement, which both bring you some rewards.
This concludes the complete process for completing A Brewing Storm Scenario in WoW MoP Classic, along with the strategies available for exploration. While the scenario may not offer the same rewards as raids or dungeons, it’s still a joy to explore the story unfolding on Pandaria in your free time. Happy gaming!
WoW MoP Classic Grand Empress Shek’zeer In Heart Of Fear Raid Fighting Can Be Easy With These Strategies
A few days ago, the recently popular WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic launched a new raid called Heart of Fear, located in the western area of Dread Wastes. In this raid, players need to help Klaxxi destroy Mantid Queen to achieve the goal of clearing the negative influence of Sha within the race.
So, Grand Empress Shek’zeer is the final boss you encounter in this raid, which contains three combat phases, and each one is very challenging. If you’re working towards completing the raid but haven’t yet started the encounter with this powerful boss, this guide will provide you with combat strategies that will be perfect for you.
Here we will first give you an overview of Shek’zeer, and then introduce you to some of the combat moves that this boss will cast in 3 Phases, as well as the countermeasures that each member of the raid has, which are particularly needed to complete the challenge against her as quickly as possible.
Boss Overview
In the background story provided by WoW MoP Classic to players, Grand Empress Shek’zeer was corrupted by Sha of Fear, which led to her issuing many strange and paranoid orders, which made Klaxxi, the guardians of Mantid, begin to rebel. So overall, this encounter only has this boss as a target.
As mentioned above, the fight with Grand Empress will last three phases, but it’s worth noting that the transition from phase one to phase two is different from usual: it occurs 2.5 minutes into the fight. Therefore, whether you’re a healer, DPS, or tank on your team, try to avoid taking significant damage in the first phase, as this will make the fight more difficult later on.
Detailed Of Combat Moves
Next is the highlight of this guide: all the combat moves that Grand Empress Shek’zeer has. Please note that these moves can be rotated just like the abilities of your characters, so at the end of each move, all members must concentrate on predicting the next position that may be harmed.
Phase 1
Although this phase is only a short 2.5 minutes, Shek’zeer’s damage is immense. Therefore, you must be extremely cautious in responding to each potentially damaging move and spend as much MoP Classic gold as possible on your chosen defensive abilities such as Power Word: Shield to ensure a safe passage. Below are the mechanics and countermeasures for each move.
Dissonance Field
At the 30th and 60th seconds of this period, the boss will place two adjacent Dissonance Fields. These have a certain amount of health, but are only vulnerable to spell damage. During this period, spell-focused DPS players should attack them as much as possible, while the tank can continue to absorb the damage.
And when one of Dissonance Fields is destroyed, the other will cast Sonic Discharge to cause a lot of damage to the team. So in this process, you and your allies need to make sure that both of them are not destroyed at the same time, otherwise the damage they cause may not be able to withstand even the main tank.
Cry Of Terror
The boss applies a continuous Shadow damage debuff to a random player in your group, which also causes all nearby players to take damage. For this reason, while this debuff is inflicted on a player, all members except the healer should stay as far away from them as possible, at least 5 yards away.
Eyes Of The Empress
The most damaging move in Phase 1 is Eyes of the Empress. It applies a stacking debuff to the current target, permanently mind-controlling them at 5 stacks. Therefore, the tank should try to keep Shek’zeer facing away from the raid during this move, and perform a taunt-swap when the debuff reaches 3 stacks.
Dread Screech
During this phase’s final attack, Shek’zeer will cast an area-of-effect damage attack on a random ranged player every 6 seconds, inflicting significant physical damage to all other players within 5 yards of that player. If your team’s DPS is focused on ranged attacks, they should also stay away as much as possible during this phase, unless the tank is survivable enough to carry them away.
Phase 2
After 2.5 minutes, your fight with Grand Empress Shek’zeer automatically enters the next phase. During this phase, the boss becomes immune to all damage and summons two minions with distinct damage types: a group of Set’thik Windblades and two Kor’thik Reavers. Set’thik Windblades initiate the fight upon entering the arena, while Kor’thik Reavers pull you into the room.
In this phase, your main goal is to kill all the minions within 2.5 minutes, otherwise Shek’zeer will reappear and the minions will continue to damage you, making your battle process much more difficult than in Phase 1. After you repeat this process, when the boss’s health reaches 30% or less, you will enter the next phase.
Since the moves cast by the two monsters in this stage will be mixed with the boss’s moves, we will not introduce the name and mechanism of each move in detail here, but will directly provide you with the strategy for confrontation.
Because the two minions’ attacks mix with the boss during this phase, we won’t go into detail about their names and mechanics here. Instead, we’ll focus on countering them. First, Windblades will lock onto players and chase them, so you should use a kiting strategy whenever possible.
For example, you could cast a damaging ability on them, then use your mobility to escape, then recast damage again, repeating the cycle. Based on this strategy, it’s recommended that tanks with higher mobility focus on this fight, as it maximizes their advantage.
Furthermore, the minions can also cast Dispatch, which deals physical damage to random players and requires prompt interruption. As for Reavers, the damage they inflict is all poison-related, such as Poison Bomb, Toxic Slime, and Poison-Drenched Armor debuff, so consider adding some poison resistance to your character.
Of note, Sticky Resin slows players’ movement, but when two slowed players touch, the debuff dissipates, creating a small pool. When four allies are affected by the debuff and each drops their Sticky Resin into the pool, an Amber Trap spawns, which can stun Reavers and loses 5% health every 2 seconds, which is very helpful.
Phase 3
When Grand Empress Shek’zeer’s health reaches 30%, a dangerous DPS race begins. During this phase, the boss abandons all previous moves except Eyes of the Empress, so the tank must still monitor stack counts and switch taunts promptly. Also, all players should equip Bloodlust to reduce the cooldown of their DPS’s damaging abilities. Countermeasures for the remaining moves are as follows.
Sha Energy
The boss will cast Sha Energy on two random players, dealing 80,000 Shadow damage. In a 25-player group, the number of players affected increases to 5. While this might seem like a significant damage potential, it’s not as threatening to players at this stage compared to other attacks. Dodge it if possible, or simply take it and use potions or healing abilities to restore the appropriate health.
Calamity
This move causes each player to take 50% of their current health in shadow damage. Since this damage is inevitable after everyone’s health drops, the healer must compensate as much as possible to ensure the team can continue the fight.
Consuming Terror
Shek’zeer unleashes this attack in a 70-yard cone in front of her, dealing 316,875 to 333,125 Shadow damage and causing players in the area to be terrorized for 4 seconds. To avoid this, avoid her by moving away from her or dispelling the debuff immediately after being struck.
Amassing Darkness
It still deals high Shadow damage, approximately 85,766 to 96,231 points. This move recurs every 2 seconds, hitting additional players until all have been hit. According to player reviews, this process can be unbearable for many tanks, so avoid it and anticipate the hit location whenever possible.
Visions Of Demise
Sometimes, you’ll see a Shek’zeer die, but its health remains. This is a hallucination cast by Shek’zeer, which ends after 4 seconds and inflicts Fear on players within 8 yards, dealing 121,875 to 128,125 Shadow damage for 20 seconds. Because of this, it’s highly recommended that you and your allies spread out to minimize the damage stacking.
Heart Of Fear
This move, which shares its name with this Raid, is unique to this boss. It unleashes a swirling heart of dark energy that targets a random player, dealing Shadow damage in their direction. If a player stands between the heart and the targeted player, they take all the damage. Due to the sheer amount of damage dealt, no specific tank specialization can handle it.
Therefore, healers have a heavier role to play in Phase 3, as maintaining the team’s combat effectiveness requires more time and energy. Therefore, when selecting raid members, try to choose those who are more skilled tanks and healers, as well as DPS with high damage potential and short cooldowns.
This concludes the overall process and strategies for defeating Grand Empress Shek’zeer in Heart of Fear raid in WoW MoP Classic. Hopefully, with the help of this guide, you’ll be able to quickly complete the encounter and claim the boss’ achievements for even more rewards and loot. Have fun!
