Blood Strike Blood Purge Alpha Guide: Humans vs Zombies Meta Explained

Blood Strike Blood Purge Alpha Guide: Humans vs Zombies Meta Explained

Blood Purge Alpha is a faction-based game mode in the first-person shooter battle royale game Blood Strike. Its introduction completely changed the game's landscape, making it one of the fastest-paced modes.

It transforms the game into a war between humans and zombies, spanning all maps, rather than a typical squad-based combat. Even today, this mode remains a favorite among players.

This article will provide a game guide to Blood Purge Alpha mode in Blood Strike, hoping to deepen your understanding of the game.

About Blood Purge Alpha

Blood Purge Alpha is a faction-based game mode where players are randomly assigned to either a human commando team or a zombie team on all maps. Humans use standard equipment and hero abilities. Zombies rely on melee attacks, special abilities, and evolution driven by Blood Crystals collected from fallen players and fixed spawn points.

When humans die, they respawn as zombies, meaning each human death strengthens the opposing faction. Zombies have an unlimited number of respawns, but require evolution and numerical superiority to overcome human firepower. The longer the match lasts, the stronger Zombies become.

Human Striker Skills

ETHAN: He can deploy a one-way bulletproof barrier with 400 health points, lasting approximately 30 seconds. Place it in a choke point so teammates can shoot through it while zombies cannot effectively retaliate. He excels in the late-game survival phase, withstanding zombie onslaughts more effectively than most characters.

JET: He is very powerful in Blood Strike mode. He can quickly scavenge for supplies while dodging zombies in the early game, and also launch missiles to clear hordes of zombies.

E.M.T.: He is generally stronger in the late game, using his endurance to withstand zombie pressure. He utilizes medical stations and armored drones to maintain a defensive position in prolonged battles.

Zombie Evolution and Skills

Basic zombies are fast and can only engage in melee combat. Collecting Blood Crystals unlocks Bloat form, granting more powerful abilities, including:

  • Charged Jump: Hold the jump button to charge a jump. The longer you hold, the farther you jump. Use this skill to attack snipers who think they're safe on rooftops.
  • Throw Contamination: Throws a sludge grenade, slowing and damaging humans within range. Ideal for rushing groups of humans and breaching doors.
  • Blood Rage: This skill grants approximately 2 seconds of X-ray vision, during which speed and damage are increased. Maximizes its effectiveness when used in conjunction with other zombies.
  • Acid Fog (Bloat): In fog, blinds and damages enemies within range. Devastating in densely packed rooms.
  • Summon Zombies (Bloat): Summons AI-controlled zombie minions to attack and create chaos.
  • Self-Destruct (Bloat): Zombie's ultimate ability, dealing widespread damage to humans. He might use a well-timed self-destruction of trade one Bloat zombie for two human defenders, which is usually worthwhile, especially in the final stages of the game.

How to Win as Humans?

If you're assigned to the human team in Blood Strike, how should you win?

First, strategically configure your team so that each player uses weapons with different ranges. One long-range player should use a Kala or FAL, one mid-range player a KAG-6, and one melee player a P90 or Vector to guard the entrance. This setup can handle most phases of a zombie attack.

If you lack a certain type of weapon, you can buy Blood Strike Golds from EZG.com in the in-game store. Using the right weapon will greatly increase your chances of winning.

Second, capture the objective point as early as possible while Zombies are still weak. The faster you control a capture point, the more zombies will swarm you. It's best to eliminate them before they transform into Bloat zombies. Once they transform, killing them becomes significantly more difficult because their skills (Acid Fog, Summon Zombies) cause the most chaos. Therefore, you need to deal with these zombies before they transform.

How to Win as Zombies?

If you're assigned to Zombie camp by Blood Strike system, how should you win?

First, never fight alone; team up. Three basic zombies can suppress one human, but a single zombie will only provide an easy kill for the human and strengthen the enemy.

Second, zombies should coordinate using signals. First, use Contamination to slow down the human's movement speed at the entrance, then activate Blood Rage to advance, followed by Bloat zombies dropping Acid Fog.

Finally, and most importantly, zombie players should prioritize collecting Blood Crystals rather than immediately launching an attack. A single bloated zombie is far more powerful than three regular zombies; patience in the first two minutes will pay off throughout the match.

Note that as a zombie, you can completely bypass chokepoints using Charged Jump. Humans often occupy high ground, believing zombies can't reach them, but this isn't true. If you skillfully use the jump button, leaping onto rooftops mid-combat can catch even experienced human players off guard.

This concludes our article on Blood Purge Alpha mode in Blood Strike. Whether you're a human or a zombie player, you can gain experience from this article, and hopefully, this guide will help you improve your gameplay.
