In Arc Raiders' recent Riven Tides update, the strength and utility of numerous items underwent significant adjustments, requiring both veteran and returning players to reassess their gear choices.
This version made subtle changes to combat pacing, survival strategies, and the balance of PvEvP scenarios, further highlighting the dominance of certain items.
Whether you're a PvE player focused on battling large Arc raids or a PvP pro who enjoys engaging other scavengers, this list will help you optimize your gear and gain the upper hand in every raid.
Here is a ranking of the top ten most powerful items (from strongest to tenth):
1. Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor)
2. Raider Hatch Key
3. Snap Hook
4. Deadline
5. Adrenaline Shot
6. Wolfpack
7. Barricade Kit
8. Kinetic Converter
9. Smoke Grenade
10. Defibrillator
1.Looting Mk. 3 (Survivor)
This item ranks first among all Arc Raiders Items. Its core advantage lies primarily in its amazing storage capacity. A large backpack with 20 slots and a maximum weight capacity of 80 points ensures that players won't easily become overweight when picking up heavy weapons, armor plates, or rare materials.
It provides three Safe Pockets, the highest configuration among all items currently available. This means you can permanently store three items in a safe zone, ensuring they are not lost even upon death.
The most amazing feature is that when a player is knocked down and remains stationary, their health automatically regenerates to 75% of their maximum downed health.
Since Arc won't attack downed targets, you can remain downed for a long time unless another player follows up with a shot. This creates an excellent opportunity for teammates to revive you or for you to retreat after the enemy leaves, and with Raider Hatch Key, you can even escape unscathed.
2.Raider Hatch Key
This key allows players to use Raider Hatches scattered throughout most maps for extraction. Cargo elevators have long waited times and are very noisy, easily attracting other players or Arc attacks. Raider Hatches, on the other hand, are usually located in remote areas, allowing for almost immediate extraction with minimal risk.
3.Snap Hook
Snap Hook grants players unparalleled mobility. It can be fired at any surface and quickly pulls the player there, making it easy to climb buildings, vault rooftops, or cross cliffs.
If used properly, a Snap Hook can negate fall damage during freefall, allowing you to land safely from a height. Moreover, compared to other similar Arc Raiders Items, Snap Hooks are easier to obtain.
4.Deadline
Deadline is Arc Raiders item that deals the highest single-hit damage to large Arcs. It needs to be directly attached to the target and detonates after a 6-second fuse.
While approaching these dangerous enemies requires skill, a single Deadline can sometimes instantly kill an Arc when successful. It's crafting cost is also very low; defeating a Comet yields nearly half the materials.
5.Adrenaline Shot
Despite being a common rarity item, Adrenaline Shot is an essential consumable for every player in every match. It instantly restores stamina to maximum and provides several seconds of free sprint time before stamina begins to decrease again. In PvP firefights, this extra sprint distance can often be a matter of life and death; it's also a lifesaver when escaping Arc pursuit.
6.Wolfpack
Wolfpack is the best choice for dealing with flying Arcs. The grenade releases 12 guided missiles that automatically lock onto any Arc within the area, dealing significant damage to armor as well.
While its crafting difficulty has increased in Riven Tides version - it now requires a Rocket Soldier Driver as a material - Arc Raiders Items needed to craft it remain a stable source: they have a high drop rate from Rocket Soldier Debris and security breaches.
7.Barricade Kit
Barricade Kit deploys a temporary barrier that absorbs up to 500 damage and can be placed at doorways or stairwells to impede enemy attacks. Similar to Smoke Grenade, it buys you valuable time to safely revive teammates or loot downed enemies.
Deployed Barricade Kits can be disassembled and returned to your inventory. Upon redeployment, their health is reset to full, allowing for reuse. The Barricade Kit is extremely inexpensive to craft. It requires only one Mechanical Component, allows you to carry three at a time, and six can be purchased daily from the vendor Apollo.
8.Kinetic Converter
This stock provides a 15% increase in rate of fire, at the cost of a 20% increase in horizontal and vertical recoil. In direct firefights, the leap in rate of fire directly alters the time-to-kill (TTK), giving you a significant advantage in gunfights. The recoil drawback can be effectively mitigated by other Weapon Mods.
9.Smoke Grenade
Smoke Grenade releases the largest smoke cloud in Arc Raiders, lasting 20 seconds and covering a radius of 7.5 meters. Its uses are extremely versatile: when ambushed, the smoke can obscure vision, helping you reposition; in open areas where you need to quickly loot downed enemies, the smoke provides brief cover; and when teammates are downed, it greatly improves the safety of reviving them.
10.Defibrillator
Defibrillator holds an irreplaceable position in team play. It not only significantly reduces the time needed to revive downed teammates but also instantly restores 50 health points to the revived player, significantly reducing the preparation time required to rejoin the fight. If you're a solo player, Defibrillator is still valuable; you can use it to revive other players and form temporary alliances to face danger together.
In Riven Tides version, whether you're a new or experienced player, prioritizing and properly combining these ten items will significantly improve your win rate and rewards in raids.
