Equalizer is one of the most coveted Legendary rifles in ARC Raiders. It uses an energy magazine, fires fully automatically, easily penetrates the thick armor of ARC enemies, and provides sustained firepower during raids. Its performance is incredibly powerful.
Unlike most ARC Raiders Blueprints, Equalizer blueprint does not randomly appear in regular chests, hidden loot boxes, or high-value areas. This means you can't obtain it by repeatedly farming for luck; you can only acquire it through high-difficulty, high-challenge events.
This guide will explain how to obtain ARC Raiders Equalizer blueprint and how to craft this legendary weapon.
Acquisition Methods
Currently, there are only two ways to obtain Equalizer blueprint in the game: completing Harvester event and defeating the Queen, who has a chance to drop the blueprint.
Harvester event is the most reliable and the primary acquisition method set by the developers, but it is extremely risky and difficult.
Harvester
Harvester is a high-risk, high-reward map event, typically appearing as a massive structure in the shallow lakes of Alcatara Dam or somewhere on Acerra Spaceport.
It possesses an independent electrical defense system that periodically triggers high-damage zones; it also features a fire defense mechanism, forcing players to move frequently, and the entire structure is heavily guarded by Queen. Therefore, breaching it is extremely difficult.
To complete Harvester event, you need to perform the following tasks:
Enter Harvester. This usually requires clearing the surrounding ARC Enemies and finding the entrance, during which you are easily targeted by other intruders.
Find 3 energy cells and insert them all into the central pillar.
Destroy all the yellow buttons. These buttons are usually located at different heights or in blind spots, requiring teamwork or strategic movement.
After destroying all the yellow buttons, loot the three containers.
These three containers will definitely contain Jupiter or Equalizer blueprints. If all goes well, you will unlock ARC Raiders blueprints you desire.
Defeating Queen
If you find Harvester event too complex, you can choose to challenge Queen herself.
When challenging Queen, it is strongly recommended to bring Looting Mk. 3 Survivor and ensure it has secure slots. This augment significantly extends your survival time after being knocked down, reducing the margin for error, which is crucial against a high-burst boss like Queen.
After defeating Queen, be sure to pick up the dropped core parts and loot immediately. Queen's combat area is usually a high-incidence PvP zone; hesitating for even a few seconds could result in other intruders stealing your loot.
Crafting Materials
Once you obtain ARC Raiders Equalizer blueprint, you can craft this rifle at Gunsmith Level 3. Here are the materials you will need:
- 3 × Magnetic Accelerators
- 3 × Complex Gun Parts
- 1 × Queen Reactor
When you attempt to enter Harvester, you will inevitably face Queen in a decisive battle. Therefore, if you successfully obtain the blueprint in the Harvester event, it means you have successfully defeated this colossal ARC enemy. Therefore, Queen Reactor should be relatively easy to obtain.
Magnetic Accelerators are slightly harder to acquire. You can find them in Exodus area. Complex Gun Parts can be obtained by trading seeds with Celeste.
Weapon Attributes
Equalizer cannot be upgraded after crafting; its weapon attributes will remain unchanged. Here are its weapon attributes for your reference:
- Ammo: Energy Clip
- Magazine Size: 50
- Damage per shot: 8
- Fire Rate: ~33.3
- Stability: ~84.6
- Agility: ~44.6
- Range: ~68.2
- Weight: 14kg (Heavier than most weapons)
Statistically, Equalizer is not a traditional high-burst rifle, but an energy weapon focused on sustained damage and armor penetration.
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages
Equalizer's biggest advantage lies in its extremely high armor penetration. Against medium to large ARC Enemies, it can almost ignore armor layers and rapidly reduce protection.
Meanwhile, its high-capacity 50-round energy magazine, combined with fully automatic fire, makes it extremely stable in sustained suppression and prolonged battles, making it ideal for defense or attrition warfare.
Disadvantages
The weapon is too heavy, resulting in poor mobility. It's not suitable for fast-paced PvP combat.
Single-shot damage is low, and accuracy is too low against small or fast-moving ARC enemies.
Usage Tips
Equalizer performs exceptionally well in ARC Raiders PvE environments, especially against medium ARC Enemies like Hornet, Wasp, and Leaper, where it can almost instantly disarm them.
It's best suited for defensive formations or pre-planned battlefields. Choosing cover in advance and planning retreat routes maximizes its sustained firepower advantage.
Rapid assaults don't utilize the full potential of this gun and will be exhausting, given its weight. In team battles, you can use Equalizer as the frontline firepower core, responsible for sustained suppression and weakening enemy armor, while your teammates use high-burst or precision weapons to finish off enemies.
That concludes the introduction to Equalizer. Obtaining it is indeed very difficult, but its outstanding attack power will definitely make it worthwhile. Good luck obtaining Equalizer!
