Jupiter is one of the most powerful weapons in ARC Raiders, boasting a maximum damage cap of 120, compared to the average rifle's 100. This makes it almost instantly fatal to light and medium ARC Enemis; headshots against human players can also significantly reduce their health.
While Jupiter only holds 10 rounds, its exceptional ARC armor penetration ensures every shot is effective.
Currently, Jupiter cannot be randomly generated; you must obtain Jupiter blueprints through special events like Harvester. This process is difficult, as you will fight Queen during it, but considering its unparalleled firepower, the effort is absolutely worthwhile.
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages
Excellent at destroying ARC Decks, suitable for close-quarters combat where aiming is convenient.
Disadvantages
Slow rate of fire, small magazine capacity, not suitable for dealing with fast-moving and dodging human players; therefore, its best use case is close-quarters firefights in PvE scenarios.
How to Obtain?
You can find this weapon inside Harvester on Dam Battlegrounds map. During this event, other valuable ARC Raiders blueprints, such as Equalizer, will also drop.
Before starting, prepare a powerful loadout, including ample medical supplies. It's also recommended to complete this event in a team; the solo challenge is too difficult and may require multiple attempts.
Harvester Location
This massive machine is located in the northeast corner of Dam Battlegrounds, to the right of Power Generation Complex. It's usually marked with a circular icon on the map.
Approaching this location, you'll encounter Queen guarding the area. You can choose to eliminate it or ignore it and enter the machine to start the puzzle.
How to Solve Puzzle?
Upon reaching Harvester entrance, you need to break down the door to enter. The machine will then begin spewing fire, so remain vigilant and wait for the flames to subside before entering.
Once inside the machine, a timer in the center will begin counting down. After the countdown ends, the central cylindrical structure will turn yellow and release a massive flame.
The resulting blue electric current will directly deplete your shield value. So once you see the structure turn yellow, run outside immediately, otherwise you'll lose most of your health in the first phase.
Phase 1
The first phase of the puzzle requires you to find 3 Power Cells and place them on the central pillar. These Power Cells are stored in the upper level of the Harvester.
Upon reaching the upper level, you'll see many destructible panels along the edges. If destroying a panel triggers a search option, it means Power Cells aren't there, so don't waste time searching every panel. Only three panels contain the items you want.
Phase 2
After installing all Power Cells on the central pillar, different yellow button alarms will sound. These buttons are usually located at different heights or in blind spots. You need to shoot or wreck them. Teamwork is recommended for greater efficiency.
In this phase, Harvester will eject the installed Power Cells. You'll need to interact with the central pillar again and reinstall them. This process will repeat until you destroy all the yellow buttons.
Phase 3
Once you destroy the last yellow button, Harvester will shut down, and three separate loot containers will appear. You're sure to find ARC Raiders Jupiter blueprint among them.
Crafting Materials
After finding the blueprint, you'll need to craft this weapon in Gunsmith 3. Here are the required materials:
- 1 × Jupiter Blueprint
- 3 × Magnetic Accelerator
- 3 × Complex Gun Parts
- 1 × Queen Reactor
Magnetic Accelerator is an Epic item; you can find it in Exodus, or craft it in Refiner 3 using 2 × Advanced Mechanical Components and 2 × ARC Motion Cores. Complex Gun Parts can be obtained by trading seeds with Celeste and aren't too difficult to acquire.
Queen Reactor requires defeating Queen. You can defeat this ARC Enemy when entering Harvester, which will significantly reduce interference later on.
Note that Jupiter cannot be upgraded after crafting. Therefore, consider whether it's worth the significant time and effort required to obtain it.
Use Cases
Jupiter is suitable for attacking small to medium-sized ARC Roberts, such as Bastion, Bombardier, and Rocketeer. It can bypass armor and strike the core directly; for large ARC Enemies like Queen or Matriarch, three bullets can expose their weak points. This allows you and your teammates to attack these weak points with any weapon.
If you're looking for a high-risk, high-precision playstyle, Jupiter is definitely the best weapon. It can be a one-shot kill. In team battles, you can use it as a sniper or support role, monitoring key routes and focusing fire on ARC threats, while your teammates deal with human raiders.
However, it's not a panacea. Its very heavy weight and slow handling make it difficult to deal with agile players. Therefore, it's not suitable for PvP combat.
That's all the information about Jupiter and its blueprint. ARC Raiders' February theme, Shrouded Sky, is coming soon. This month, you'll not only see more game content, including map updates and a new Expedition Window, but you'll also encounter a new ARC threat. We look forward to seeing you use Jupiter to successfully defeat it!
