Arc Raiders Riven Tides May 4th Weekly Trials Complete Guide: Get 3-Star on All 5 Missions Fast

Arc Raiders Riven Tides weekly Trials (May 4th) include five missions: destroy fireballs, kill swamp ARC enemies, search cabinets, deal damage, and melee ARC enemies. No double points. This article summarizes 3-star strategy.

May 05, 2026 Author: EZG

Against the backdrop of the ongoing Riven Tides update, Arc Raiders has rolled out a significant new rotation of weekly Trials. This update not only introduces fresh challenge missions and a revised scoring system but also quietly implements several system optimizations that were not prominently highlighted.

Concurrently, the player community has provided concentrated feedback regarding issues such as weapon durability, equipment balance, and cosmetic customization. The following section provides a detailed breakdown of this week's Trials content, the highlights of the hidden updates, and the key points of contention within the current version.Arc Raiders Riven Tides May 4th Weekly Trials Complete Guide: Get 3 Star on All 5 Missions Fast

Detailed Breakdown of This Week's Trials Missions

This week's weekly Trials consist of five missions. Notably, the "double points" bonus has been removed from all missions; consequently, players must interpret mission descriptions with greater precision and handpick the appropriate maps and tactics.

Destroy Fireballs

This mission requires players to destroy Fireball units that spawn across the map.

Fireballs spawn with extremely high density in the new Riven Tides map - particularly near Hotel and near Extract Points adjacent to it - making these two locations the most frequent spawn zones for these units.

Additionally, Buried City area also offers a substantial number of potential targets. By selecting these specific zones for rapid clearing operations, players can efficiently achieve a 3-star rating for this mission.

Destroy ARC Enemies in the Swamp

Particular attention must be paid to the specific wording of this mission objective. It does not ask you to Deal Damage, but to Destroy. This implies that players must ensure they land the final blow - the killing shot - on ARC enemies using Arc Raiders Items to secure the kill credit. Furthermore, Swamp area within Dam Battlegrounds is the only designated location where this objective can be completed.

Although the development team previously stated they would no longer tie missions to specific maps, this week's Trials still adhere to that older design philosophy. When playing in a squad, it is advisable to coordinate kill assignments with your teammates to avoid wasting damage output on targets that won't count toward your individual progress.

Search Kitchen Cabinets

The optimal location for completing this mission is Buried City. This area is densely packed with apartment complexes and residential buildings, resulting in an extremely high concentration of kitchen cabinets. The good news is that even if another player has already looted a cabinet, searching that same cabinet again will still count toward your mission progress.

Therefore, there is no need to compete for First Search of a cabinet; simply repeatedly search through the cabinets located within the dense residential zones to complete the objective.

Damage Any ARC Enemies

This serves as a long-term objective that overlaps significantly with the missions mentioned above. As you work toward completing the tasks of Destroying ARC Enemies in the Swamp and Destroying Fireballs, you will naturally accumulate a substantial amount of damage points toward this objective. To further accelerate your progress, it is recommended that you head to Riven Tides and focus your attacks on high-health units. Additionally, keep an eye out for the flying Turbine units; attacking them yields a substantial amount of points. It is advisable to attempt this Trial in matches that lean more towards PvE to avoid interference from other players.

Deal Melee Damage to ARC Enemies

This is the most challenging objective of the week. Relying solely on your Raider's Tool to attack small units will not be sufficient to meet the point requirements; you must utilize dedicated melee weapons to land effective strikes against larger ARC enemies. A common strategy involves using Snap Hook to close the distance with enemies like Rocketeers, then dealing damage by repeatedly landing melee attacks. This objective places high demands on both player execution and equipment loadouts; it is recommended that you pair your melee weapons with survival-oriented skills and armor.

Useful Updates

Within Projects interface, players can now navigate forward through the pages to preview the specific materials required for stages they have not yet unlocked. This change allows players to plan their resource-gathering routes in advance, eliminating the need to wait until the current stage is completed before beginning to prepare for subsequent items.

For instance, even if you haven't yet completed Avian Alarm Project, you can now view the material checklist for the subsequent stages, thereby significantly boosting your overall efficiency. This feature was introduced in a recent patch but was not explicitly mentioned in the official update notes.

Feedback and Suggestions

The player community is currently highlighting three main issues.

About weapon durability, while the rate of durability decay for Common quality weapons is considered acceptable, the wear-and-tear rate for Uncommon and Rare weapons appears disproportionately high. Players argue that Rare weapons - classified as mid-to-high-tier gear - suffer from a durability drain that does not align with their actual in-game utility. They suggest appropriately reducing the durability decay coefficient for non-Common weapons to strike a better balance between resource investment and combat experience.

Regarding Arc Raiders Photoelectric Cloak, following a series of recent adjustments, its invisibility effect has been significantly nerfed. In the current version of the game, this gear piece offers only limited utility within an extremely close range of 5 meters, rendering its tactical value virtually nil. The community is calling upon the development team to revert some of these numerical changes or redesign the item's functionality to restore it to a usable state.

Since the game's launch, players have consistently expressed a desire to freely mix and match components from different cosmetic skins; however, this feature has yet to be implemented. The community believes that introducing a "mix-and-match" system would vastly deepen the level of customization and visual diversity available, and they suggest prioritizing this feature in future updates.

With Riven Tides update, Arc Raiders continues to keep its content feeling fresh through a rotating schedule of weekly Trials and the newly optimized Project preview feature. However, systemic issues - such as weapon durability, equipment balance, and cosmetic customization - remain critical factors influencing the long-term player experience. The development team must address community feedback in future patches to sustain the game's strong initial momentum.
