Arc Raiders released patch 1.27.0 on May 5th, focusing on fixing several issues reported by players after Riven Tides update went live. This patch includes adjustments to Arc Raiders' core combat units, as well as optimizations to audio performance, map stability, and some equipment mechanics.
Since Riven Tides update, Arc Raiders team has been closely monitoring community feedback and has been working on deeper balance changes. This patch primarily addresses obvious flaws affecting the gameplay experience, aiming to improve the smoothness and fairness of matches.
Meanwhile, new cosmetic items have been added to Arc Raiders shop: Corsaro outfit and Mutton Chops facial hair bundle, available now.
Enemy Fixes
This update focuses heavily on fixing issues with Arc Raiders' ARC units, primarily covering Turbine combat performance and combat interactions while carrying items. These changes directly impact players' tactical choices and survivability when fighting ARC units.
Turbine Combat Performance Optimization
Previously, Turbine projectiles were not visible at long range. This made it difficult for Raiders to determine the source and impact point of the projectiles, reducing the competitiveness of the combat. After the update, Turbine projectiles are visible to Raiders at a greater distance, facilitating subsequent tactical planning.
Additionally, Turbine's own sound effects, which previously suppressed other in-game sounds, have been corrected. The audible detection range of Turbines has now been improved, allowing players to detect their approach or firing from a greater distance.
Previously, the proximity mines deployed by Turbines had insufficient visual contrast in certain environments, making it difficult for attackers to identify danger zones. This adjustment improves the visibility of the mines, making them more consistent with the intended risk warning.
Furthermore, when automatically selecting a landing location, Turbines sometimes mistakenly land on treetops or other unusable terrain. This forces players to wait for Turbine to re-land or forcibly attack a Turbine that landed in an inappropriate location, but the latter's attack power is significantly lower than when deployed on flat ground.
This process directly prolongs the time window from deployment to actual attack output, reducing operational efficiency and the continuity of the game's rhythm, resulting in a poor gameplay experience.
This patch improves the landing behavior algorithm. Turbines now prioritize flat, passable ground, significantly reducing abnormal landing point occurrences.
Defensive Actions While Carrying Items
Previously, when Raiders were carrying carryable items (such as chests or batteries) and encountered Ticks' attacks, players had no effective countermeasures and could only watch helplessly as they were attacked and knocked down.
After the update, players can actively drop their items and immediately enter combat to repel Ticks. This change eliminates the defensive vacuum when carrying quest items, increasing strategic options.

Audio System Fixes
Arc Raiders' audio has received several fixes in this update, particularly addressing the lack of sound feedback in densely vegetated areas of Riven Tides map.
First, the lack of corresponding ambient and action sounds when characters move or fire in densely vegetated areas has been added, allowing players to judge their surroundings by sound.
Second, the desynchronization between sound effects and animations when rapidly using items has been resolved, resulting in smoother operation feedback.
Third, the aforementioned issue of Turbine sound effects suppressing other sounds has been fixed, and the overall mixing is now more balanced.
Map Scene Bug Fixes
The following primarily fixes bugs related to two maps.
Riven Tides
This map had several defects affecting mission completion and character movement.
Field Depot POI was previously not correctly recognized by Off the Radar mission, causing mission progress to freeze; the counting logic has now been corrected.
In addition, several fruit basket models in the scene were either floating or partially buried in the ground; these have been adjusted to their correct positions. A gap that could have caused players to fall below the floor has been filled, eliminating the risk of getting stuck in the terrain.
Stella Montis
A wall on this map lacked collision detection, allowing ARC and players to shoot through it. The missing collision detection has now been added to the wall, restoring a normal cover-based combat environment.
Functional Adjustments
The following are several functional fixes and adjustments designed to improve the player experience.
Trigger 'Nades
A bug in a previous patch allowed players to instantly detonate Trigger 'Nades while throwing them, bypassing the normal fuse delay. This bug disrupted the combat balance and has now been fixed; grenades now have a normal delayed detonation mechanism.
Cosmetic Items
Howdy emote can now be used while sprinting, improving animation fluidity. Rachetta suit's color reproduction has been calibrated for greater accuracy compared to the original design.
Progress System
The information displayed in Late Departure interface window was inaccurate and did not correctly reflect Catch Up Rewards content. The updated window now accurately displays the details of catch-up rewards earned by players, facilitating progress tracking.

The fixes directly impact gameplay, reducing frustration from unexpected actions. Further balance adjustments are still under development; this update provides a more stable foundation for future work.
