Now, February is almost halfway over, and Arc Raiders players still haven't received Shrouded Sky Update promised by the developers in 2026 roadmap, which has caused a lot of dissatisfaction. So, in an effort to quell the unrest, the developers released February Update 1.15.0 on February 10th, which included a new limited-time event and made several changes to the existing content.
Although this is not a very major update, the content it contains is definitely worth trying. If you are interested, you can follow this update note provided by EZG.com to see the details of the important additions and changes in 1.15.0. After this update is released, you may need to change your combat perspective a bit. Let's take a look!
About Shared Watch Event
To successfully attract all players and retain existing players, Arc Raiders has added a limited-time co-op event in this update, Shared Watch Event, which goes to live with the patch and ends on February 26, 2026. The event's primary combat type is PvE, reminding players that the real enemies are not the surrounding players, but the Arc enemies that threaten them.
The specific gameplay involves earning 100 experience points for each ARC enemy defeated, which translates to 1 Merit in this event, they are used to advancing the reward track in this Shared Watch Event. It's worth noting that while PvP still applies during this event, killing other raiders, whether they are your teammates or not, will not earn your Merit.
Incidentally, assisting other players in defeating ARC enemies throughout the game will also count towards your score, further highlighting the theme of harmonious cooperation among players advocated by this Shared Watch Event. Once you accumulate the specified number of Merits, you can win the following rewards.

Looking at these 21 rewards, it's clear that Arc Raiders is offering significantly more generous rewards in this new limited-time event than before. With such substantial prizes, I doubt any player could resist. Join the raid and team up to take down those pesky Arc enemies!
Cold Snap Map Condition
In this Update, Cold Snap has become a permanent map state in Arc Raiders, rotating with outdoor map states like Night Raid and Electromagnetic Storm, still providing you with a high-risk, high-reward raid experience.
Also, although Flickering Flames event associated with Cold Snap is gone, you can still collect Candleberries; they are not linked to any events and are merely decorative. When the map is covered in snow, you can also pick up snowballs, which you can throw as weapons or do nothing else.
New Cosmetics
In addition to the above new content, the developers have also added two new skins to Arc Raiders: The Slugger set, which is a reward for Shared Watch Event; and The Vulpine set, for which no information has been leaked yet.
However, I dare to speculate that it might be designed to match the style of a snowy map, resembling a very warm gray fox fur coat; or perhaps the look of a hunter who has lived deep in the mountains for a long time. Anything is possible.
Adjustments to Existing Content
Of course, ARC Raiders February Update 1.15.0 won't just be full of new content; there will also be changes to existing content. For example, Trailblazer Grenade has been nerfed: its explosions will no longer cause damage to walls. There were also modifications to its damage output.
This grenade deals increased damage to small enemies, but its damage output against large enemies like Leaper and Bastions is reduced. The developers claimed it was to ensure a balanced experience for players fighting large enemies, but unfortunately, it backfired.
While most players now consider Trailblazer Grenade the most effective tool against these powerful and challenging bosses, it hasn't caused a serious imbalance. Instead, players want Bettina buffed or Stitcher nerfed, because that's the real culprit.
Skipping over this less-than-ideal nerf, let's look at two very important quality-of-life improvements in this update: fixing an issue where weapon switching was unstable when bound to a key other than the mouse wheel, and fixing an issue where crafting would sometimes be canceled, among others.
Additionally, Arc Raiders addressed the issue of exploiting network problems to duplicate and sell Rubber Ducks, which have recently become very popular in Bird City map condition, for a large amount of coins, in the update, and stated that it will strongly crack down on such cheating.
In summary, Update 1.15.0 for Arc Raiders feels like a shot in the arm for all players and builds momentum for the next Shrouded Sky Update. Therefore, the grenade nerfs may not be final; we'll have to wait for the details in the next major update. But when will that be released?
