ARC Raiders is currently a very popular game. Since its release in October 2025, it has received consistent praise from players in many game stores. Its low barrier to entry makes it easy for newcomers to pick up and play, resulting in a generally positive reputation.
We all know that a game needs a long-term and stable player base. First, as developers, they need to systematically update the gameplay of different versions of the game. Second, they need to continuously improve and fix imperfect mechanisms or technical bugs in the game.
Only by doing these things can the player base know the reliability of the game and not easily switch to other types of games. But as everyone knows, a month has passed since Cold Snap map update was released for ARC Raiders in December 2025.
As time goes on, player enthusiasm has gradually waned. Many players in the community have begun reporting numerous bugs in the game.
For example, during item crafting, the crafting counter resets in the last few seconds, forcing players to start crafting from scratch. Doors that appear open automatically close a second later. There are even glitches related to fire rate and pickup speed. If these issues are not fixed quickly, the number of players who love the game will gradually decrease, leading to player fatigue and frustration.
The current discussions among players in the community are quite heated, and it's believed that the developers of ARC Raiders have taken action. To appease everyone and maintain the game's popularity, they will undoubtedly release new content as soon as possible to ensure player retention, as indicated by the roadmap released two days ago and information leaked from various channels.
If you're a player who frequently browses the community, you may have already noticed some rumors; if not, don't worry, because we've compiled all the current leaks here, ending with a surprising conclusion.
Roadmap
Based on information gleaned from roadmaps released in previous months, it can be inferred that this new roadmap indicates a new map will be updated in April, named Riven Tides.
Secondly, the icons for April map feature beach chairs and parasols, suggesting a completely new area-style map.
Releasing just a roadmap is enough to pique player interest and create anticipation for the update. Therefore, the arrangement of icons and text is not random; every detail carries unique meaning and design philosophy.
In conclusion, the details on the roadmap clearly indicate that the new map will center around water, presenting a completely new area for exploration.

Something you might not have noticed is that Esbjörn Nord, the art director of ARC Raiders, uploaded concept art from the game's development phase to ArtStation early on, consisting of five paintings.
The first painting shows workers standing or sitting on the rooftops of city skyscrapers, gazing into the distance at their homes destroyed by the sea. The second and third paintings showcase a more futuristic, ring-shaped city design, built along the water, with transportation routes encircling the city.
The fourth painting shows the abandoned, dilapidated factory area of the city during the day, while the fifth painting focuses on a solitary oil rig-like structure standing on the sea under a dim sky.
It's undeniable that some of the unique architecture depicted in these paintings has been incorporated into the game, clearly demonstrating that the game's map design was inspired by these artworks. Therefore, it's noteworthy that certain elements in these paintings might have served as a bridge to the creation of the new map, Riven Tides, in April.
Furthermore, I discovered that Nord also posted two artworks depicting deep craters created by impacts in an ArtStation thread.
These massive craters somewhat resemble the landing sites of ARC enemies, which might have some mysterious connection to the game's design for April map. Why do I say this? Because subsequent comments from players in the community have forced me to speculate on the various connections.

Finally, I found some clues through recent discussions on Reddit. One player's comment particularly excited me because he provided a screenshot of a bug in the game - a new space that wasn't shown on the map - and explained that when he entered it, there was nothing there. This was likely an unopened area built by the game designers for the new map, but due to some technical oversight, it was missed.
Looking more closely at the map, we can see that some location icons are overlaid on the main menu page, and a second Stella Montis has mysteriously appeared below Buried City! Located east of the volcano, I was overjoyed. This is definitely not a coincidence; its location near the volcano and the deep pit in the artwork likely indicate a future design for the new map!
Based on all the publicly known and leaked information above, ARC Raiders will be providing players with a unique and very interesting new map in April 2026! The map is set in a coastal area near a volcano. Extending from the volcano to the coastline, I predict this new map will be quite vast. I can't wait! Let's look forward to it!
