Struck by Lightning on Purpose? ARC Raiders Week 20 Trials Guide to Easy 3-Stars & Fast Rewards

The latest ARC Raiders Week 20 Trials have a very strange and bizarre requirement: you must be struck by lightning. Besides this odd task, what other tasks are there in this week's trials? This guide will provide detailed instructions.

Mar 17, 2026 Author: EZG

It's time for ARC Raiders' weekly Trials again! This week's Trials are quite creative, departing from the usual focus on attacking ARC Enemies and leaning more towards environmental interaction and aerial combat, requiring a certain level of tactical strategy.

Here's a complete breakdown of all five Week 20 Trials and how to three-star them efficiently.Struck by Lightning on Purpose? ARC Raiders Week 20 Trials Guide to Easy 3-Stars & Fast Rewards

This week's five Trials are as follows:

  • Get hit by lightning
  • Damage Hornets
  • Damage flying ARC enemies inside Spaceport walls
  • Damage Bombardiers
  • Deliver Carriables

Get Hit by Lightning

This is easily the strangest Trial this week. Instead of dodging danger, you actively seek it out. This challenge is related to Electromagnetic Storm condition; only when this condition appears on the map will you be lucky enough to be struck by lightning.

There are two approaches to this trial: a fast method and a fun method. Since the official team is being abstract, we must abstract back to the original. As the saying goes, the world kisses me with lightning, but I repay it with humor.ARC Raiders Get Hit by Lightning

Fast Method

When lightning is about to strike, a blue circular indicator briefly appears on the ground. Your goal is simple: step into it.Think of it like playing hopscotch with lightning.

Because continuous lightning attacks cause massive damage, carrying plenty of healing items is crucial. Once you've accumulated enough attacks to reach 3 stars, quickly retreat to ensure your progress is saved.

Fun Method

If you want to lean into the absurdity, equip multiple Light Shields, stock up on Shield Recharges, and fill your remaining inventory with healing items like Herbal Bandages and Fabric.

Then just stand still in the storm and… wait. And wait. And keep waiting. Ideally, just stand still for the entire raid. If you feel lonely, you can shout, “Let the lightning come even harder!” No advanced skills or meaningful decisions are required; all you need is the desire to be Harry Potter.

Damage Hornets

Back to basics, Damage Hornets offer a more traditional combat experience. Hornets are among the more vulnerable ARC Enemies, easily destroyed with a few precise shots. Their weak points are on their propellers, especially the tail, although removing their frontal armor also exposes these weaknesses.

Since Hornets spawn on all maps and often alongside Wasps, this trial can be perfectly integrated with the next Spaceport trial, allowing you to complete both missions simultaneously under the right conditions.

Damage flying ARC enemies inside Spaceport walls

Various flying ARC Enemies will spawn within Spaceport walls area, including Snitches, Spotters, Wasps, Hornets, Fireflies, and Rocketeers. Rocketeers score the highest, so prioritize attacking them.

For maximum efficiency, enter Spaceport during abnormal map conditions (like storms or Night). Enemy density tends to increase, letting you rack up points much faster.

Damage Bombardiers

Week 20 Trials focuses on one of the most formidable enemies in ARC Raiders: Bombardiers. They are renowned for their devastating mortar attacks, which relentlessly target and suppress unsuspecting players.

The key to this battle lies in dealing with Bombardiers' deployed Spotters. These small units will mark your location, significantly increasing the accuracy and frequency of enemy attacks. Therefore, eliminating Spotters should be your top priority in any battle.

Positioning is equally important. Since Bombardiers attack from above, taking advantageous cover will significantly reduce the damage taken. Combined with high-damage weapons like Deadline or Anvil, this can end their lives instantly.Buy ARC Raiders Anvil Blueprints from EZG.com to get weapons faster and complete 3-Stars Trials

It's important to note that Bombardiers do not spawn on Stella Montis, making other maps like Blue Gate more suitable for this trial.

Deliver Carriables

This has appeared in previous trials. While simple, you'll still need some healing and mobility. We recommend carrying:

  • Healing Items
  • 15-20 Adrenaline Shots

Adrenaline Shots allow for fast movement across the map, making them essential. Additionally, you can use Snap Hooks to pull Carriables towards you, speeding up the process.

What counts as a carriable?

Three types of items earn points upon delivery:

  • Field Crates: Found near Field Depots across all maps. Deliver them to nearby storage points.
  • Fuel Cells: Primarily found in Stella Montis. Placing Fuel cells on a generator or unlocking a mechanism counts as a delivery. They are easier to obtain than Field crates because they tend to spawn in clusters.
  • Power Cells: Similar to Fuel cells, but appear in access capacitor racks. These items are found in Reinforced Reception puzzle on Blue Gate and other similar locked areas on the map.

It's important to note that Carriables do NOT respawn during a raid. For maximum score, head to Dam Battlegrounds, where item density is higher.

Week 20 Trials are surprisingly accessible, with at least two objectives feeling like easy points. Whether this is intentional or the devs are busy preparing upcoming content, it's a great opportunity to farm rewards with minimal friction.

And honestly—getting struck by lightning on purpose? That's a new one. Good luck out there, Raider.
