From Zero to Enigma: A No-Nonsense High Rune Farming Guide for Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 14

This article describes how to farm three High Runes - Jah, Ith, and Ber - in Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 14 to craft the Enigma gear, which grants players the Teleport ability.

May 25, 2026 Author: EZG Views: 121

If you're a Diablo 2 Resurrected player, you'll know that there's a piece of equipment every player dreams of obtaining: Enigma.

Why is this equipment so powerful? Because it grants any character class a unique ability - Teleport. With this ability, your character's map traversal efficiency, PvP mobility, and safety will experience a qualitative leap.

However, this equipment is notoriously difficult to craft. It requires you to socket three extremely rare High Rune into a single piece of equipment in a specific order. Many players have played for years without ever seeing what they look like.

Next, I will explain how to obtain High Rune needed to craft Enigma. From Zero to Enigma: A No-Nonsense High Rune Farming Guide for Diablo 2 Resurrected Season 14

Choosing Right Map

To craft Enigma, you need three extremely rare High Rune: Jah, Ith, and Ber. These Rune are not easy to farm, but mastering the techniques can greatly improve your farming efficiency.

First, unlike most Diablo 2 Resurrected players who farm various bosses, you can directly farm Rune in a place called Lower Kurast.

There are two reasons for choosing Lower Kurast.

First, it's the map with the most Super Chests. On Lower Kurast map, one or two Campfires sometimes spawn. Each Campfire has two buildings next to it: a long building on the left with two Super Chests, and a short building in the upper right corner with one Super Chest.

That means one Campfire can provide you with 3 Super Chests. If you're lucky enough to get two Campfires, you can get 6 Super Chests per run.

Second, these Super Chests have a higher drop rate for High Rune than anything else. According to years of data from the player community, Lower Kurast is the best place to farm Berserker and Survivor Rune, bar none.

Of course, this doesn't mean you'll get it after just a few runs - in fact, the average player might need dozens or even hundreds of runs to find a Berserker. But compared to farming monsters elsewhere, this is already the most efficient method.

Finding Popppables

However, simply using Super Chests is very inefficient. Actually, you can do something most players overlook: casually search all the popppables you encounter along the way, such as Corpses, Logs, Stashes, Pile of Bones, Weapon Racks, and Armor Racks.

You might think this is nothing special? But someone on a player forum tried this method, and the result was that this player found two Survivors and one Berserker among these popppables - yes, he found High Rune from Diablo 2 Resurrected from corpses and piles of wood along the roadside.

This completely overturns the traditional belief that "only Super Chests yield good loot." In fact, besides him, many experienced players have shared similar experiences on community forums, with some even believing that popppables sometimes yield better loot than Super Chests.

Moreover, it's not difficult. You simply need to click your mouse or keyboard while exploring the map, opening every popppable you see. This is time-consuming and has no learning curve, as your main task is finding Super Chests; opening popppables is a natural next step.

Therefore, stop focusing solely on Super Chests and search everything you can in Lower Kurast. Good loot might be hidden in any corner.Buy the cheapest Diablo 2 Resurrected Items from EZG.com to make Enigma easily

Increasing Speed

Exploring the map for gear is essentially a race against time. The faster you explore each round, the more chests you open per unit of time, naturally increasing your chances of getting good loot.

Therefore, improving your speed is crucial. In Diablo 2 Resurrected, Barbarian class is the easiest to increase speed with. All you need is a set of speed-boosting gear to stack Faster Run/Walk stat as much as possible.

Here's my recommended gear and Rune Word, a combination referenced from a well-known player in the community:

Any bow with Harmony Rune Word

Harmony Rune Word is a Rune Word that can be used on bow-type weapons. It doesn't need to be used for shooting; simply holding it provides a level 10 Vigor Aura. Vigor Aura increases Faster Run/Walk by 36%, allowing all nearby teammates to run faster.

Hawkmail

This is a Unique Scale Mail with two key attributes: a 10% Faster Run/Walk increase and a built-in Cold Resist effect. The former further increases your movement speed, while the latter prevents you from being frozen by monsters and becoming incredibly slow.

M'avina's Tenet

This belt is part of M'avina's Battle Hymn set. While most of its stats aren't particularly outstanding compared to other Uniques, it has a unique feature: a direct 20% Faster Run/Walk increase. M'avina's Tenet was once the only belt in Diablo 2 Resurrected to boost running and movement speed.

Natalya's Soul

Natalya's Soul is a set mesh boot, part of Natalya's Odium set, and is key to increasing speed - because these boots provide a whopping 40% Faster Run/Walk increase. This means that even wearing just these boots can nearly double your movement speed.

Combining the speed boosts from all your gear, your character will run like the wind. What takes others 40-50 seconds to complete a run, you might only need 20-something seconds.

The above is a guide on farming Jah, Ith, and Ber in Diablo 2 Resurrected to craft Enigma. In short, the key is to increase your speed, repeatedly run Lower Kurast map, and unlock everything you can. It may be a bit tedious, but it's definitely worth it.
