ARC Raiders Update 1.39.0: 15+ Hidden Tips and Tricks to Survive Longer and Extract Successfully
ARC Raiders update 1.39.0 includes several updates, including adjustments to PvP matchmaking system, announcing the system's combat recognition logic, and fixing various bugs.
Thanks to this update, some techniques that were previously unusable due to bugs or the matchmaking system are now usable. In fact, in this PvPvE extraction shooter, the ability to skillfully use items and avoid damage often determines victory or defeat.
I will introduce these practical techniques in several aspects to help players significantly improve their survival rate and extraction success rate.
Avoiding Damage
First, in ARC Raiders, the proper use of items and equipment can skillfully avoid damage and conceal your location.
Hidden Zipline
Many players are unaware that Crash Mats can be used to hide the zipline ropes. While ziplines can help you move quickly in combat, their ropes can also reveal your movement path.
Players can first place a Crash Mat on the ground, then set up a Zipline on top of it, and then use Zipline. After use, the rope on Zipline will disappear, concealing your path and preventing enemies from tracking you.
Blocking Deadlines
Deadlines are high-damage explosive traps in the game, but their explosion damage can actually be blocked by Noise Makers.
After discovering a Deadline, players simply need to place a Noise Maker right next to it and hide behind it; the shockwave from the explosion will be completely blocked.
Blocking Line of Sight
Some ARC enemies in ARC Raiders - such as Turret and Shredder - rely on line-of-sight for their attack hitboxes.
Therefore, players can simply place items, such as Pulse Mine or Fireworks Boxes, in the path of ARC enemy's attack to block their attack path and avoid their hitboxes. Fireworks Boxes are considered by many players to be the most cost-effective item for blocking line of sight.
Offensive Tactics
Here are some techniques to help quickly eliminate enemies:
Launching Traps
In ARC Raiders, players can use the physics of barricades being destroyed to launch traps placed on them.
Players need to reduce Barricade Kit to low health, place a Deadline on top, and then destroy the barricade. The blast shockwave will launch Deadline like a projectile, dealing ranged damage to enemies. This technique works even better when combined with ARC Raiders Items like Volcano.
Mixing Gas and Smoke
When gas and smoke mix, the game's rendering layer will highlight character outlines.
Therefore, if players want to track hidden enemies, they can first throw a Smoke Grenade, then throw a Gas Grenade into the smoke. This way, those outside can clearly see the enemy outlines within the gas area of the smoke, achieving a one-sided vision advantage.
Utilizing Terrain
Making good use of the terrain on different maps in ARC Raiders can help you successfully evacuate or quickly gather supplies:
Control Tower
In the game, players can sometimes use the edge detection of specific terrain features to jump over intermediate platform floors.
For example, on the top floor of Control Tower in Dam Battlegrounds map, players can jump directly from a specific edge, using momentum to land directly on the ground floor, saving time spent running up and down stairs.
Control Tower A6
The top floor of Control Tower A6 usually requires a specific key to enter, but many players have discovered that by setting up a zipline and Snap Hook, they can bypass the key door and enter directly.
Players simply need to use a Snap Hook to reach a specific height outside the tower, then immediately set up a zipline to glide to a protruding part of the tower. Near the top floor, use Snap Hook again to hook onto the edge, allowing them to vault over and enter. This tactic is often used to loot high-level supplies on the top floor.
Utility Items
The game features several useful items with multiple uses, such as:
Barricade Kit
First, Barricade Kit can be used to impede the movement of doors. Simply place Barricade Kit against one side of the door, and its model will be wedged into the door's trajectory, preventing it from opening.
At this point, the door can only be opened from the player's side, and the switch on the other side will be disabled. This is often used to lock down a room to prevent being turned away or to trap enemies.
Second, since Barricade Kit's health is reset after being dismantled and retrieved, players can dismantle it when it's low on health but not destroyed, retrieve it into their inventory, and then redeploy it to restore its full health.
Crash Mat and Powered Descender
In update 1.39.0, Crash Mat is a throwable inflatable cushion that absorbs fall damage for the player; Powered Descender is a small jetpack that slows the player's descent in the air.
Many players are unaware that these two items can be used in combination. By continuously stacking them, players can jump from any known high point in the game and land safely and quickly.
These are some useful tips for ARC Raiders applicable to update 1.39.0. As the game updates, applicable tips will also be updated.
If you don't want to miss the latest tips, you can follow EZG Facebook. We will continuously update the latest game information and hold occasional giveaways.
In short, you can use these techniques in various situations such as extraction and combat. Mastering these techniques will make you a pro player.
Torchlight Infinite SS13 Level 6 Pet Test: Powerful Upgrade or Overhyped System?
In Torchlight Infinite SS13, pets became one of the most discussed systems among players. The reason is simple: high-level pets require a significant time investment to train, representing a long growth cycle for players.
When a level 6 pet finally reaches its full potential, many players expect a noticeable change. After getting their first Level 6 pet in SS13, some players tested Arcana farming in Profound for an extended period and realized the gains were more modest than they had anticipated.
This result clearly differed from many players' initial expectations. So the question arises: in SS13 environment, is investing in a level 6 pet worthwhile?
Based on feedback from other players, the answer isn't so simple. A level 6 pet is indeed powerful, but it's far from being a game-changer.
Pets Haven't Changed the Game
Many players, before obtaining a level 6 pet, tend to overestimate its potential.
Since players may spend hundreds of hours or more to unlock this system reward, many naturally expect it to bring a massive improvement in returns. In Infinite community, there's frequent discussion about the resource advantages of pets in Afterlight, with many believing that having a high-level pet drastically changes resource farming efficiency.
However, after actually acquiring them, players often become more realistic during gameplay. They realize that pets increase drop rates and the maximum potential reward; they don't suddenly turn regular farming into a money-making machine.
If a playstyle isn't inherently profitable, even a level 6 pet is unlikely to produce miracles. If the playstyle relies on random jackpots, then the pet's role is simply to increase your chances of encountering high-value drops.
Many people overlook this, leading to the misconception that "having a high-level pet guarantees higher returns."
Essentially, pets improve the efficiency of an existing farming strategy rather than creating an entirely new source of income.
Arcana Mechanism
The results of this test are closely related to Arcana gameplay in Infinite.
In SS13, Arcana is not a playstyle with consistently high hourly earnings. It's more like a high-volatility reward model: you might grind for hours with little success, but a single crucial drop can instantly boost your overall average reward.
This is why different players have completely different opinions on the same playstyle.
Some players who get high-value items within hours think Arcana's rewards are incredible; others who go dozens of hours without a big drop consider it a complete waste of time.
In reality, both experiences are valid.
Observing only data during a low point doesn't prove that level 6 pets are ineffective. FBecause this farming approach depends heavily on RNG, judging its value through short-term results can be misleading due to luck fluctuations.
High-Level Pet Playstyle
Another easily overlooked issue is that pets never exist in isolation.
Some players, after upgrading their pets, immediately continue playing the game using their old grinding methods, expecting a sudden surge in rewards. However, in reality, high-level pets often need to be combined with the correct playstyle.
Taking Arcana Profound gameplay in Afterlight as an example, experienced players generally recommend using Golden Compass in Profound environment because it's better suited for pursuing high-value drops.
Purple Compass might have an advantage in the early stages of Infinite season or certain specific phases, but it's not necessarily the optimal choice for long-term farming.
Map selection, compass setup, talent build, and overall farming strategy all affect the final return.
Level 6 pets provide enhancements, not solutions for all problems.
The Overrated Pet
The overvaluation of pets is actually related to how players obtain information.
In SS13 community, extreme cases tend to spread more easily. A post about a player getting a large amount of FE from a lucky drop easily sparks discussion. However, posts from ordinary players who farm for dozens of hours and only achieve stable, minor improvements are rarely shared.
Over time, players' expectations for high-level pets increase, and they may believe that having a level 6 pet will definitely make resource farming much easier. They often only realize after actually owning a pet that it merely makes the process more comfortable.
This psychological letdown is very common. Higher-level pets do offer advantages, but they don't change the two core elements of farming games - time investment and luck.
Is a Level 6 Pet Worth It?
If the goal is to make money quickly in a short period, then a level 6 pet might disappoint some players.
It won't immediately put players into a high-yield phase, nor will it guarantee a stable return on every run.
However, if a player is already building a long-term system, then the value of a level 6 pet will gradually become apparent.
The difference in extra benefits from pets between 100 hours of farming and 1,000 hours of farming will gradually widen. In the short term, it might only increase efficiency slightly; but over the long term, these improvements will become increasingly significant.
This is why many veteran players are more calm about SS13 pet system. They don't expect pets to change everything, but see them as an important enhancement in the long-term farming process.
The main benefit of level 6 pets in Infinite is that they increase the probability of players reaping higher rewards over the long term.
They can reduce some efficiency losses and increase the chances of encountering good drops, but they don't replace gameplay understanding or skip the long accumulation process. Ultimately, the rewards still depend on the chosen gameplay style, the combination of items, and how much time you're willing to invest.
Mistfall Hunter Classes Ranked: Which Class Should Beginners Pick After Launch?
With the official launch of Mistfall Hunter on July 30th at 01:00 UTC, all six classes have undergone adjustments compared to Beta testing phase. Many classes have changed their skills, gameplay, and even roles. Therefore, the old tier list is no longer suitable as a basis for choosing a class at launch.
If your goal is to quickly familiarize yourself with the game after the official launch, then a class's margin for error, solo experience, team value, PvP potential, and difficulty of operation will be more important than simply having high damage output.
EZG will rank the six classes based on the launch version of Mistfall Hunter, considering factors such as beginner-friendliness, overall strength, and long-term development potential, to help you find the most suitable class as your first character.
Mercenary
If you could only recommend one class for players new to Mistfall Hunter, the answer would definitely be Mercenary. This isn't because it has the highest damage or automatically wins all matches, but because it provides the most reliable foundation for new players.
Sword and Shield grant you the ability to block, parry, and controllable counterattacks, allowing you to gradually familiarize yourself with the enemy's attack rhythm. Hammer sacrifices some defensive capabilities for higher burst damage, stronger charge, and greater control.
Mistfall Hunter further optimized both weapon paths at launch. Perfect Parry's hitbox is wider, and Shield performs better in PvE; Hammer's Charge Leap is easier to hit targets, Skullcrusher's damage to monsters is increased, and Warhammer Sling's target recognition speed is also improved.
These changes don't alter Mercenary's gameplay, but they make the entire class smoother to play. More importantly, it helps you learn the core combat mechanics of Mistfall Hunter, including positioning, stamina management, blocking, Parry, rolling, and judging the timing of enemy attacks. This experience will benefit you regardless of which class you switch to later.
The only significant issue with Mercenary is that skilled ranged players can easily wear it down. However, overall, it still has a very high margin for error, and is my most recommended beginner class.
Sorcerer
For players willing to learn to position and spell timing, this will be the strongest all-around starting class. The developers of Mistfall Hunter stated in testing that Sorcerer's overall kill and damage performance is relatively balanced. His biggest issues are a steep learning curve, weak specialization skills, and overly powerful frost control in extreme situations.
After Mistfall Hunter changes, Sorcerer is easier to learn without becoming invincible. Fireball, Thunder Strike, and Meteor Charm can be cast quickly even when Energy is depleted; Arcane's startup speed is improved; Wind Craft's range is increased and casting is faster; and several Element and Stardust skills have also received speed and stability optimizations.
Your emergency skills can be cast faster, you will no longer feel helpless and exhausted, and this class now has higher base survivability. Sorcerer provides ranged suppression, area damage, root control, and a lot of team value. It excels in PvE raids, threatening ranged players and punishing enemies cornered in confined spaces.
Its weakness remains positioning. If an aggressive melee player approaches you when your key abilities are unavailable, Sorcerer will quickly crumble. However, once you master Sorcerer's timing and positioning, it becomes the strongest all-around choice for Mistfall Hunter beginners.
Blackarrow
Blackarrow is the best ranged-focused choice for Mistfall Hunter solo play. The release notes indicated that Blackarrow was slightly overpowered in high-level solo play, leading to nerfs to some of its powerful abilities.
Mystic Fire Arrow's scaling against heavily geared targets has been reduced, Exhausted duration of Paralysis Arrow has been shortened, and the recharge rate after Shadow Step exits stealth has been decreased.
However, Blackarrow hasn't been completely nerfed. The archer path now prioritizes fully charged fire arrows. The hunter path no longer requires a fully charged shot to gain the range boost from Light Arrows. This makes the choice clearer.
In extraction mode, Blackarrow's greatest advantage isn't just its damage output, but its ability to chip away at enemies before they get close and decide whether to continue fighting or retreat safely based on the situation. This is crucial for preserving equipment and Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblod.
Of course, its biggest weakness is also quite obvious. Once melee classes successfully close the gap, Blackarrow's margin for error drops rapidly, so maintaining distance and making good use of the terrain in Mistfall Hunter are essential.
Withered Knight
Withered Knight undoubtedly received the most changes at launch. During the testing phase, its damage output wasn't weak; the real problem was Greatsword's slow feel and the lack of a secondary weapon system, resulting in insufficient overall gameplay depth.
The official Mistfall Hunter version effectively addressed these two issues. Greatsword unlocks Parry earlier, has a longer Counter Window, a more stable Thorn Guard, increased hitboxes for multiple attacks, and restores more health after knocking down enemies.
In addition, Mistfall Hunter added a complete polearm and shield weapon path. This weapon boasts six skills and offers extended attack range, active blocking, area control, and the ability to revive downed teammates from a distance.
The offensive talent allows players to charge into enemy lines after accumulating Shield Power, while the defensive approach emphasizes blocking, protecting teammates, and using enhanced attacks to repel enemies. More importantly, this weapon even received a buff on launch day.
Charge and Block consume less energy, basic thrust and Spear Barrage damage are increased, and Rainbow Piercer has reduced energy consumption and a faster return speed, making the entire weapon build smoother than when the server launched.
However, the learning curve for Polearm and Shield is still steeper than for Greatsword, requiring better distance judgment, attack rhythm, and battlefield awareness. Therefore, new Mistfall Hunter players are better suited to experience Greatsword first, becoming familiar with the class before trying Polearm and Shield.
Seer
Catalyst Seer and Mace Seer are almost two completely different classes. Catalyst is currently the purest support class in Mistfall Hunter. Its value lies not in damage output, but in healing, maintaining raid status, and helping teammates maintain their offensive rhythm.
In the launch version, Healing Rune and Punishment Rune have faster startup speeds, and the buffed Support Orb's hitbox has also been expanded, resulting in significantly improved healing efficiency and hit rate consistency. For a fixed three-person team, Catalyst is arguably the most definitive team support choice.
However, if most of the time is spent soloing, Catalyst is not the best class for progression. The other path, Mace, is more proactive. Because of its overly strong chasing and escaping abilities during the test server, the official version has nerfed its long-range mobility, slowing, and control effects, but retained its close-range chasing capabilities.
Meanwhile, Rune Drain's life steal effect on players has been strengthened. Therefore, Mace Seer hasn't lost its competitiveness, just no longer possessing the excessive safety of its Mistfall Hunter test server counterpart.
Shadowstrix
Last on the list is Shadowstrix. It's important to emphasize that being ranked last doesn't mean the class is weak; rather, it means it's the least suitable class for beginners new to Mistfall Hunter. Shadowstrix is a standard stealth assassin.
It relies on stealth, burst damage, and catching enemies off guard to secure kills. The official release has nerfed many of the aspects that were most advantageous in Beta phase. Crow Storm can no longer repeatedly stack stuns on already stunned enemies, its damage has been slightly reduced, and its chasing ability has been weakened.
Several attack hitboxes have been optimized, making skill hits more consistent, but the overall difficulty of operation has significantly increased. Playing Shadowstrix well now requires more precise positioning, better timing of entry, and a safe retreat route after a kill.
For experienced PvP players, it may still be one of the most dangerous classes in Mistfall Hunter; however, for new players still learning the map, Extraction system, monster mechanics, and class counters, it is undoubtedly the choice with the lowest margin for error.
This isn't a simple Mistfall Hunter damage ranking, but a recommendation based on the launch environment, new player experience, team value, and overall performance in both PvE and PvP. As players' gear improves and balance patches are released, the rankings for each class are still subject to change.
Path of Exile Patch 3.29.1 Harvest Farming Guide: Best Setup for 2-5 Divines Per Map
The first major patch since the release of Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame expansion, Patch 3.29.1, has now been released. It includes numerous balance changes to the existing content, some of which have even affected the farming and running strategies of some loyal players.
Fortunately, the strategy of relying on Harvest mechanism for farming has not been weakened much. On the contrary, its advantages of low investment cost and stable returns have made it popular among players, who have made it the main way to run endgame in POE 3.29.
If you happen to have this need, then you definitely can't miss the method provided by EZG.com here, which shows how to use Harvest to still farm efficiently while making balance adjustments to multiple game contents in Path of Exile Patch 3.29.1. Enough chit-chat, let's get started with the crazy farming!
Preparations before Farming
Before embarking on the relentless farming of Harvest, it's important to remember to use builds that are suitable for speed farming and offer high mobility, such as any Elementalist builds that maximize Ignite, combined with the powerful shields and blocking abilities provided by Aegis Aurora.
With the help of this type of build, clearing maps quickly and without damage is no longer a dream. In addition to a strong build, you'll also need to prepare Fruiting Astrolabe, as it's essential to ensure that every map you enter contains a Harvest encounter.
It's worth reminding you that at the beginning, you don't need to focus too much on whether Fruiting Astrolabe contains the high-quality affixes you need, because as farming progresses and Astrolabe chain continues to improve, things will develop in the way you expect!
Finally, and most importantly, is accumulating a sufficient amount of currency. This is because we'll be using scarabs to maximize the efficiency of farming Harvest. The drop rate of these essential items is too random, so we'll have to rely on currency trading.
If your budget is limited, you can directly buy PoE currency from EZG.com, which is both convenient and quick. Not only that, we also offer you 8% off, which can be done simply by filling COA code. Come and enjoy this great deal!
Some Setup
Next, we come to one of the most important parts of farming Harvest in the current POE 3.29.1, which is to perform some necessary setup on the map and Atlas Passives in your character build, in order to maximize the entire process.
Scarab Options
In this farming strategy, the scarab is mainly used to enhance the Harvest mechanic's impact on monsters or encounters on the map. There are currently three options, and you can choose to accord to your playstyle:
- Harvest Scarab: This will cause the area to contain Sacred Grove.
- Harvest Scarab of Cornucopia: When the area contains Sacred Grove, each type of Tier 4 seed will contain a maximum of 1 additional one.
- Harvest Scarab of Doubling: Harvest Monsters on the map have doubled Lifeforce and their health increased by 100%.
Additionally, scarabs that increase the pack size and number of monsters on the map are also worth considering, such as Scarab of Monstrous Lineage or Influencing Scarab of Hordes. While they will make the farming process more difficult, the rewards are much greater.
Atlas Passive Nodes
Similarly, when choosing Atlas Passive Nodes for your character, you should prioritize the probability of Harvest encounters. Therefore, Harvest Chance node is one you must activate, as it will be crucial in determining whether the entire farming process proceeds smoothly.
Additionally, with the release of Curse of the Allflame Patch 3.29.1, Eater of Worlds Eldritch Altars have become increasingly important in endgame gameplay. Given that, you need to activate Eldritch Gaze node, which increases the positive effects of the map by 50%, which is exactly what we need.
After that, you can freely choose passive skill nodes with Explicit modifiers, such as those that increase damage or defense, which are quite important in higher-difficulty endgames. If you are confident in your build, you can also pay attention to affixes that increase the number of monsters and the size of monster packs.
Farm Harvest Now!
After making all the above preparations, you can start farming Harvest. It is recommended to start with Jungle Valley Map, because it can prevent the altars on the map from rolling affixes that enhance bosses, which will make the whole farming process more stable and profitable.
Once you enter the map, prioritize finding Eldritch altars. They shouldn't be too difficult to find, since the passive nodes we just activated and the scarabs will increase their spawn rate. Once you interact with it and roll a modifier related to Harvest encounter, immediately head to Harvest plot location marked on the map and prepare for a large-scale mob clearing operation.
If you successfully complete the entire Harvest farming process, the total rewards you receive will be worth approximately 2-5 PoE Divine Orbs, depending on your map clearing speed. This is significantly simpler than other strategies that require you to constantly farm map bosses to earn currency.
As a side note, this strategy is very likely to be suppressed by GGG again, so you need to pay close attention to the timing of patch releases.
You can follow EZG Facebook to find out the release date and details of the latest PoE patch. If you're lucky enough, you might even get a free currency giveaway. Maybe you'll be the next lucky one!
The above describes the specific methods for leveraging Harvest encounters to generate effective benefits in Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame, despite the significant nerfs to other endgame farming strategies in Patch 3.29.1.
DragonSword Awakening Beginner Guide: How to Progress Fast, Unlock Heroes, Upgrade Karma, and Avoid Resource Mistakes?
The new game DragonSword Awakening launched on July 22nd. If you've already registered and logged in, you'll find that the game throws a ton of stuff at you right away. There's a lot to sort through, and you might feel a bit lost about what to do.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, this article is for you. This guide will explain all the major mechanics of DragonSword Awakening in detail, tell you what to prioritize, and help you smoothly navigate the early game, avoiding wasting resources on the wrong things.
Game Progression
Many players' first question upon arriving in DSA is, "How do I progress through the game?" Let me answer that for you.
First, the main story is the core of your game progression. Each chapter you complete unlocks new game systems, hero quests, and reveals more areas to explore. Remember, if you jump to side quests before completing the main story chapters, you'll miss out on all the unlockable content, so be sure to progress through the main story.
Next, the most important are the two daily activities: Regional Missions and World Bosses. Don't underestimate them; their importance is second only to the main story.
Regional Missions reward Skill Scrolls, used to upgrade hero skills, forge molds, and customize the main attributes of ultimate equipment. World Bosses drop Basic Karma, which can be used to upgrade and rank Karma weapons. These two activities reset daily, and missing them can result in a significant progress gap.
Unlocking New Heroes
One of the things players loves about DragonSword Awakening is that it completely abandons the traditional gacha system. All heroes are recruited using Fate's Invitation Tickets, which you can choose from the exchange menu. There's no need to worry about random summons or pity systems.
Fate's Invitation Tickets can be obtained in two ways: main story chapters and Hero Quests. Hero Quests unlock after you reach certain campaign milestones and reward additional Fate's Invitation Tickets and exclusive Karma associated with specific heroes. In addition, some characters will automatically join your party after your complete story quests.
However, since Fate's Invitation Tickets are indeed scarce, you need to choose carefully and use them on heroes that fit your intended team composition. Don't recruit a character just because they look good or are interesting, only to leave them useless on the bench.
Awakening System
Awakening system provides a way to enhance your heroes in the late game. Each hero has six awakening levels, each unlocking unique bonuses. These bonuses either increase attack power or add new passive effects, thus changing the character's gameplay.
To upgrade your heroes, you need Stigma Awakened Stones, each requiring 200 Fragments of Sacred Light to exchange. These fragments need to be accumulated through continuous exploration in DragonSword Awakening, so awakening is not something that can be done in a short time.
It is recommended that you prioritize awakening your main damage dealers. After your main characters have unlocked all six levels, then allocate resources to other characters.
Acquiring and Reforging Gears
Unlike most games, most gear in DragonSword Awakening comes from Blacksmiths rather than enemy drops. However, crafting materials for gears are obtained through Trait Dungeons, Exchange (using Adventurer's Emblem medals earned from missions), or Alchemist NPC Shanoa.
Because each hero in the game is tied to a specific element, gear compatibility won't be uniform. Be sure to craft gear that enhances your hero's elemental strengths.
Regarding gear attribute allocation, it's recommended to place your strongest attack attributes on chest or leg armor. If you feel your crafted gear's secondary attributes are unsatisfactory, the blacksmith's reforging system can regenerate them randomly. Reforging requires one Stat Grinder (each costs 25 Adventurer's Emblem medals) and DragonSword Awakening Gold.
Because the results are random, consider it a gradual optimization tool, not a tool for frantically grinding for attributes early on.
The attribute priorities are as follows:
- Critical Damage
- Attack Power
- Defense Ignore
- Airborne Damage
Karma System
In DSA, Karma is attached to a hero's weapon and directly affects damage output. Basic Karma provides general attribute bonuses and can be equipped by multiple heroes. Unique Karma is character-specific and can unlock additional combat skills, significantly altering the hero's performance in combat.
Upgrading Karma requires unique Karma cards, which can be obtained from world bosses. If you obtain unique Karma for an infrequently used hero, disenchant it for resources rather than letting it sit idle.
Familiars and Mercenary
Familiars are your mounts, but their function goes far beyond simply increasing your movement speed. Each companion possesses unique movement abilities that unlock different areas of the world. However, some Familiars require progressing through the story or completing specific quests to unlock, while others require reaching a certain mercenary rank.
Here are four Familiars I recommend prioritizing: First, Bright Crowtit, whose movement ability is Air Dash, unlocked at Novice Mercenary Corps rank; then Snowstorm Sky Wolf, whose movement ability is Underwater Dash, unlocked by completing Captain's Scheme quest;
Stormy Direwolf is also a good choice, with Charged Jump, unlocked at Elite Mercenary Corps rank; finally, you can also choose Stormy Direwolf, whose movement ability is Boost Jump, but you might need to wait, as it requires Veteran Mercenary Corps rank to unlock.
During the game, if you find yourself short of items, equipment, and resources, you can buy DragonSword Awakening Gold from EZG.com to trade, which will provide you with funds to acquire the items you need as quickly as possible.
This concludes this article on DSA beginner tips. Mastering this information will help you progress more effectively in the game. If you feel you've grasped the concepts after reading this article, then go ahead and give it a try!
MLB The Show 26 July 31 Update Guide: How to Unlock 99 OVR Ken Singleton, Dustin Pedroia & More Rewards?
On July 31st, MLB The Show 26 received a major update - one that many players had been eagerly awaiting.
The most significant update was 6th Inning Program, giving players the chance to obtain top-tier 99 OVR player cards, along with numerous card packs and stubs. In addition, the game also updated Cornerstone Program, July Spotlight Program & Pack, and other events.
In short, players will have a very fulfilling weekend. I will now detail these events in detail.
6th Inning Program
Inning Program is one of the core activities in MLB 26's Diamond Dynasty mode. Players can earn XP to progress through Inning Program. Rewards are given for reaching certain milestones.
Rewards
6th Inning Program offers a wealth of rewards, the most important of which are:
First, Signature Series Ken Singleton. This card is one of the rewards from 6th Inning Program's Boss Pack.
Signature Series, an ambidextrous hitter, boasts exceptional Contact and Vision against both left and right pitchers, along with clutch ability.
While his speed is relatively slow, his powerful coverage and power make him a core player in the offense. Furthermore, he can fill in at left field, providing flexibility for the player's lineup.
Secondly, Milestone Series Dustin Pedroia. This card is another Boss Pack reward card, with attributes similar to Singleton, making him a second base version of the contact god.
He also possesses extremely high hitting, vision, and clutch performance attributes, making him a typical hit-maker. While his power is slightly lacking, it can be further enhanced through Parallel Progression system, so this isn't a major issue.
In addition, on the path to Boss Pack, players can also obtain Pipeline Series Max Clark, Finest Series Keith Foulke, and Milestone Series George Kell, all of whom have a 99 OVR.
In addition, MLB 26 offers a voucher system, allowing players to directly redeem Boss Packs by collecting specific cards, skipping lengthy XP accumulation process.
Methods to Obtain XP
During the event, players can earn XP through almost all gameplay activities, such as playing matches and completing specific stat goals. Besides this, there are some quick ways and tips to acquire XP:
Accumulate XP by completing various in-game tasks and challenges. Reaching certain XP milestones unlocks rewards. Quick ways to acquire XP include:
First, completing designated tasks. During the event, there will be designated tasks in the game, such as achieving specific stats (hit, home run, etc.), completing online matches, or using specific card sets to complete challenges. Completing these designated tasks will earn a large amount of XP.
Second, playing different game modes, such as Moments, Conquest, and Mini Seasons. Moments, in particular, has many story challenges or timed missions, which are usually short but provide a large amount of XP.
Third, completing player card collections. During the event, collecting specific player cards will also grant a significant XP bonus. The key to quickly accumulating XP lies in multitasking.
For example, you can complete multiple performance indicators while finishing designated game tasks, allowing you to advance multiple tasks simultaneously within the same game and maximize efficiency.
Other Activities
In addition to 6th Inning Program, MLB 26 has updated a whole host of activities.
Weekend Classic 5
First and foremost among these activities is Weekend Classic 5. Weekend Classic is a timed, high-stakes online tournament mode with incredibly attractive rewards, including a large number of MLB The Show 26 Stubs and top player cards.
The top reward in this updated Weekend Classic 5 is a top player card - Milestone Series Johan Santana. This card pays homage to Santana's no-hitter in 2012, the first no-hitter in New York Mets history, a moment that remains memorable for fans.
This card is also 99 OVR, and boasts a luxurious 4-Seam Fastball, Circle Changeup, Sinker, Slider, and Cutter. This makes him one of the top left-handed pitchers in the game.
Furthermore, he possesses a unique Quirk - Break Outlier, meaning his changeup ball movement is extremely exaggerated.
Cornerstone Program
This is a shorter, smaller mission chain that accompanies each Inning Program. Players can earn a specific team's core player card (99 OVR) by completing certain events and missions. This time, the reward is Alan Trammell.
July Spotlight Program & Pack – Drop 3
This event, also accompanying each Inning Program, releases MLB 26-themed card packs based on player performances in real-world baseball games. Players can obtain player cards representing those players who delivered outstanding performances in real-world games by completing specific missions.
In Drop 3, the game released player cards featuring Kazuma Okamoto, Wilyer Abreu, and Zach Thornton for players to acquire.
Additionally, Gavin Williams, Esteury Ruiz, Heliot Ramos, Eduardo Valencia, and Petey Halpin were added to July Spotlight Pack.
July Lightning Collection
With Spotlight Program update, July Lightning Collection was also updated. Players who collect one to three Spotlight Series player cards in July Spotlight Program can obtain Milestone Series Salvador Perez.
Salvador Perez is Kansas City Royals' current home run leader in real life, and in the game, he boasts a 99 OVR, making him incredibly powerful.
This concludes the detailed overview of July 31st update for MLB The Show 26. If this article was helpful, you can follow EZG Facebook. We will continue to provide the latest game update information and will occasionally host events to give away valuable in-game items to random followers.
In summary, the most important updates in July 31st update are 6th Inning Program and Weekend Classic 5, but other accompanying updates are also worth noting.
