Is Kodak Black in GTA 6? Here's What the New Screenshot Shows

A new official GTA 6 screenshot appears to show Kodak Black at the Jack of Hearts club. Here's what Rockstar has revealed and what remains unconfirmed.

Kodak Black may be making an appearance in Grand Theft Auto VI. A new screenshot released by Rockstar Games appears to show the Florida rapper inside Vice City's Jack of Hearts club, and fans were quick to recognize his familiar hairstyle and facial tattoos.

The image is part of Rockstar's official GTA 6 Launch Gallery, published on November 5. It has since attracted attention from gaming and music outlets, with several identifying the man in the club scene as Kodak Black.

There's a good reason the possibility has caught people's attention: Rockstar has already named Kodak as one of the modern Miami artists whose music helped shape the world of Leonida.

So, is he actually in GTA 6? The screenshot makes a strong case for a possible appearance, but Rockstar has yet to officially identify the character.

Does the New GTA 6 Screenshot Show Kodak Black?

Rockstar's GTA 6 Launch Gallery contains 39 new screenshots showcasing Vice City and other parts of Leonida. Most of the images focus on Jason, Lucia, familiar locations, and the people who bring the game's world to life.

One nightclub image stands out. It shows a man sitting in a booth with two women. His haircut and facial tattoos look remarkably similar to Kodak Black's, prompting fans to connect the character with the Florida rapper.

Complex also highlighted the resemblance, reporting that the screenshot appears to feature Kodak at the Jack of Hearts club.

It's an intriguing match, particularly given the character's appearance and the location. But there's one detail worth keeping straight: Rockstar has not published a character name or directly confirmed that the man is Kodak Black.

In other words, the screenshot is official. The identification is based on visual resemblance and media reporting, rather than a formal announcement from the developer.

Why Kodak Black Makes Sense in GTA 6

This isn't the first time Kodak Black has been connected to Rockstar's version of South Florida.

In a September 2026 interview with Dazed, Rockstar senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries discussed the music and cultural influences behind Leonida. He specifically mentioned Kodak Black and Sexyy Red when describing the contemporary Miami music scene.

Humphries also talked about the different places that shape the region's hip-hop culture, from house parties in Overtown to clubs and the more expensive nightlife of South Beach.

That comment is particularly relevant here. GTA 6 isn't simply bringing back the neon-soaked Miami atmosphere of the original Vice City. Its setting is built around a more contemporary version of Florida, including the artists, nightlife, and social media culture associated with the region.

Kodak Black is a recognizable part of that musical landscape. His possible appearance therefore feels more connected to the game's setting than a random celebrity cameo would.

Is Kodak Black's Music in GTA 6?

Kodak's connection to the game also extends to its music.

His track "Skrilla" was heard in Rockstar's GTA VI: An Extended Look, released on August 27, 2026. The extended presentation featured several recognizable songs, giving fans an early look at the musical atmosphere surrounding Vice City and Leonida.

However, hearing a track in promotional footage doesn't automatically confirm that it will appear on an in-game radio station. The distinction matters because Rockstar has separate music projects and in-game radio content.

The studio has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks created in partnership with Atlantic Records. Rockstar revealed the first six singles in September and said more details about the game's music, including its evolving in-game radio, would follow.

Kodak Black's appearance in the Extended Look is a confirmed connection to official promotional footage. It should not be confused with confirmation of a specific radio station, DJ role, or final in-game playlist.

What's the Jack of Hearts Club in GTA 6?

The location in the screenshot is another reason the image has attracted attention.

The Jack of Hearts is a Vice City strip club associated with Boobie Ike, one of the characters Rockstar has introduced in its GTA 6 reveals. According to the Dazed interview, Boobie oversees a business empire that includes the club and a music studio.

The venue also has a connection to Travis Scott. His GTA 6 soundtrack contribution, "RHYNO," references the Jack of Hearts, adding another link between the fictional club and the game's music.

That makes the possible Kodak appearance particularly interesting. The Jack of Hearts sits at the intersection of Vice City's nightlife, entertainment business, and modern music culture — all important parts of the world Rockstar is building.

If the character is Kodak, the location would be a fitting place for him to appear. What remains unclear is whether he has a speaking role, appears in a mission, or simply makes a brief cameo inside the club.

The evidence points to a credible possibility, but it doesn't answer every question. Rockstar has established Kodak's relevance to the game's musical influences, and the new screenshot has given fans a possible look at him in the world itself.

Whether that character is officially intended to be Kodak Black is still an open question.

When Does GTA 6 Release?

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

With the release approaching, Rockstar's latest screenshots are giving fans plenty to examine. The possible Kodak Black appearance is one of the more interesting details, especially because his connection to the game's musical identity was already known.

As players prepare to explore Vice City, there will be plenty to discover beyond its music and celebrity appearances. From exploring the city to customizing vehicles and building up in-game wealth, money will play an important role in the GTA experience. Players interested in the game's economy can also keep an eye on future GTA 6 Cash guides as Rockstar reveals more about earning and spending money in Leonida.

For now, the Jack of Hearts image is the strongest visual clue. A direct confirmation from Rockstar would settle the question, but until then, it's best described as a possible Kodak Black cameo — not an officially announced character appearance.
