Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Sparks New Community Quests: All Challenges, Rewards and Questlines Explained
With the official launch of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, and Tarnished Pack also available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, the official reason for Tarnished's return to Lands Between is yet another.
The newly announced Elden Ring Community Quests transform familiar daily gameplay into shared goals, allowing players across different platforms to collaborate on community milestones and unlock commemorative rewards.

What Are Community Quests?
Unlike traditional side quests, Community Quests don't require individual Tarnished players to complete a series of objectives; instead, all players work together towards a common goal.
This time, Elden Ring Community Quests consist of four Questlines:
- Path of the Tarnished
- Path of the Cardinal Sin
- Path of the Elden Lord
- Path of Shadows
Each Questline has a different start time, content, and rewards. Most importantly, players can participate in Questlines by playing Elden Ring on their preferred platform during the event period, without platform or method restrictions.
Questline 1: Path of the Tarnished
The first questline consists of four community milestone quests, running from September 1st to September 28th. Upon completion of all objectives, each player will receive a Commemorative Artwork by Shimhaq and a Twitch Chat Badge featuring Sorcerer Rogier by Carsondrewit.
1. Summon Sorcerer Rogier 300,000 Times
Rogier is an NPC in Elden Ring whose summon sign can be used in relevant battles. For new or returning players, this challenge can be seamlessly integrated into daily gameplay rather than being a separate grinding activity.
How to Complete It?
Use Sorcerer Rogier's summon sign when it becomes available before engaging in the relevant boss fight. Players can encounter Rogier early in their journey after creating a new character and use his summon sign as normal.
Note that the community quest counts the total number of summons by community members, so players do not need to summon Rogier hundreds of times individually. Only one valid contribution is needed to count towards the common goal.
2. Obtain 2,000,000 Stonesword Keys
Stonesword Keys in Elden Ring are primarily used to break seals created by Imp Statues, unlocking previously locked areas, items, and encounters. Players can find Stonesword Keys throughout Lands Between and obtain them from specific Merchants.
How to Complete It?
This is arguably one of the easiest challenges to achieve in daily gameplay, as Stonesword Keys are valuable exploration items in themselves. If you are exploring new areas, checking hidden corners, ruins, and Merchants will gradually increase your contribution without deviating from your usual route.
3. Obtain 1,500,000 Cookbooks
Cookbooks are very important because they expand the crafting recipes available to your character. They are scattered throughout Elden Ring game world and can be obtained through exploration, NPC Merchants, and other discoveries.
How to Complete It?
The easiest way is to collect Cookbooks whenever you encounter them during your exploration. It's also worth checking Merchants, as some sell specific Cookbooks.
For players starting a new game, this goal aligns perfectly with regular exploration. Instead of rushing straight for the main boss, spend time investigating city-states, camps, and Merchants; this will reveal additional crafting resources and allow you to contribute to the community.
4. Obtain 1,000,000 Sacred Tears
Sacred Tears are valuable upgrade items used to enhance your character in Elden Ring, primarily found in churches throughout Lands Between.
How to Complete It?
As the final objective of Path of the Tarnished, players simply need to find churches and collect any remaining Sacred Tears whenever they arrive in a new area. This process is especially beneficial for new players, as it allows them to improve their strength while contributing to the community quest.

Questline 2: Path of the Cardinal Sin
The second questline also includes four community milestone quests, running from October 1st to October 28th. Upon completion of all objectives, each player will receive an unreleased Commemorative Artwork and a Twitch Chat Badge featuring Festering Bloody Finger by Carsondrewit.
1. Commit 50,000 Cardinal Sins
Cardinal Sin is a key game event in Elden Ring related to the burning of Erdtree. According to the game's storyline, Tarnished's act of igniting Erdtree with fire at Forge of the Giants is Cardinal Sin.
How to Complete It?
Players must advance through the main storyline to reach Mountaintops of the Giants, finish the required events at Forge of the Giants, and set Erdtree ablaze.
2. Summon 3,000,000 White Phantoms
White Phantoms refer to cooperative summoning players in Elden Ring multiplayer games. When a player summons other Tarnished players into their world via the multiplayer system, the summoned players will appear as White Phantoms.
How to Complete It?
The most direct way to speed up this task is to participate in co-op multiplayer. Use Tarnished's Furled Finger to create a summoning marker, or use Small Golden Effigy to send the summoning marker to nearby Summoning Pools.
3. Obtain 1,000,000 Festering Bloody Fingers
Festering Bloody Fingers are intrusion items in Elden Ring, primarily used to attempt to enter other players' worlds for PvP.
How to Complete It?
Generally, players can obtain Festering Bloody Fingers through Merchant quests and related missions in the game.
A relatively easy source is White-Faced Varre questline. Players will obtain Festering Bloody Fingers as they progress through his quests.
4. Obtain 3,000,000 Golden Seeds
Golden Seeds are a crucial upgrade resource in Elden Ring, typically found near Golden Saplings on the map.
How to Complete It?
When exploring new areas, keep an eye out for small golden trees near roads. Golden Seeds are usually located next to these small golden trees; simply approach to collect them.
Questline 3: Path of the Elden Lord
The third questline, Path of the Elden Lord, will run from November 2nd to November 28th. Completing four community milestone quests will reward you with the corresponding Commemorative Artwork and Warrior Jar Alexander by Carsondrewit Twitch Chat Badge.
1. Summon 50,000 Warrior Jar Alexander
Warrior Jar Alexander is a highly representative NPC character in Elden Ring, appearing throughout multiple regions and story phases.
How to Complete It?
If Alexander's summon sign is available in the relevant boss fight, players can find his summon sign and summon him before entering the boss room.
For veteran players who have completed Alexander's questline, replaying his story in a new playthrough is a good option; new players can proceed with Alexander's questline normally and use the summon sign in boss fights where he can be summoned.
2. Obtain 3,000,000 Rune Arcs
Rune Arcs are primarily used to activate Great Rune effect in Elden Ring items. Players can obtain Rune Arcs through multiplayer, exploration, and other in-game activities.
How to Complete It?
Helping other players defeat bosses earns Rune Arcs. Therefore, participating in Co-op during Path of the Elden Lord not only helps the community complete White Phantom-type objectives but also contributes to your own Rune Arc reserves.
3. Obtain 500,000 Legendary Armaments
Unlike Golden Seeds or Rune Arcs, Legendary Armaments are not ordinary repeatable resources, but a special set of weapons in Elden Ring.
How to Complete It?
These weapons are scattered across different areas. Some require defeating specific enemies, while others require exploring hidden locations or progressing through related quests. Therefore, this objective is better achieved through normal exploration and weapon collection than by finding so-called fast-farming routes.
Even experienced players who already possess most of Legendary Armaments can collect them again during this process, or focus on other resource objectives, such as Elden Ring runes.
4. Upgrade 100,000 Standard Spirit Ashes to +8
It's important to note that Standard Spirit Ashes are upgraded using Grave Gloveworts, while Standard Spirit Ashes are upgraded using Ghost Gloveworts. Furthermore, Spirit Ashes upgrades are provided by Roderika at Roundtable Hold.
How to Complete It?
First, you need to unlock Roderika's Spirit Tuning feature, then collect enough Grave Gloveworts to upgrade Standard Spirit Ashes.
If your character already has multiple un-upgraded Standard Spirit Ashes, this Community Quest is perfect for integrating into character progression.

Questline 4: Path of Shadows
The third questline, Path of Shadows, runs from December 1st to December 28th. Unlike the previous four questlines, as the final community quest, it features five milestone quests. The reward remains a Commemorative Artwork and a St. Trina by Carsondrewit Twitch Chat Badge.
1. Collect 1,000,000 Scadutree Fragments
Scadutree Fragments are a crucial enhancement resource in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. They can be used at Sites of Grace to upgrade Scadutree Blessing, thereby enhancing your character's combat capabilities in Realm of Shadow.
How to Complete It?
When exploring Realm of Shadow, players should focus on finding Scadutree Fragments near Miquella's Crosses, some churches, and other hidden locations.
2. Reach the Abyssal Woods 15,000 Times
Abyssal Woods is a highly hidden area within Shadow of the Erdtree and cannot be reached directly by following the main route after entering Realm of Shadow.
How to Complete It?
First, you need to enter Shadow Keep, find the hidden passage, and then go through the sarcophagus behind the hidden wall to reach Castle Watering Hole.
Then explore downstream along Recluses' River to enter Darklight Catacombs. After defeating Jori, Elder Inquisitor, at the end of the dungeon, you can enter Abyssal Woods.
3. Drink from St. Trina's Nectar 10,000 Times
This quest is arguably the most unique in Path of Shadows.
St. Trina's Nectar is tied to St. Trina's storyline. Players need to find St. Trina in Garden of Deep Purple, interact with her, and then choose to drink Nectar.
How to Complete It?
First, travel to Garden of Deep Purple via Stone Coffin Fissure and advance the relevant route.
Once you find St. Trina, interact with her to see the option to drink Nectar.
4. Obtain 70,000 Larval Tears
Larval Tears are an important character progression resource in Elden Ring, used for Rebirth at Rennala, which involves redistributing character attributes.
How to Complete It?
Larval Tears are primarily obtained through exploration, with some hidden among special enemies or in specific locations.
If you're already planning to rework your build, you can collect Larval Tears at the center of the blue-glowing tombstones at night.
5. Obtain 500,000 Revered Spirit Ashes
Like Scadutree Fragments, Revered Spirit Ashes are also a unique enhancement resource specific to Shadow of the Erdtree.
How to Complete It?
Players can find Revered Spirit Ashes during exploration of Realm of Shadow. They are scattered throughout the area, usually in remote locations, and can be found at key points.
This goal is especially suitable for players who already own Shadow of the Erdtree and are planning to re-enter Realm of Shadow in December.
Significance
The timing of Elden Ring Community Quests is crucial. The official announcement came immediately after the release of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition and Tarnished Pack.
On one hand, Community Quests provide returning players with a reason to return.
Players who have completed the base game or Shadow of the Erdtree DLC may not be looking for another traditional progression system. Still, pursuing a shared objective with the community can provide a unique source of motivation, as each player's efforts can make a meaningful contribution to the overall result.
Most importantly, the event provides Elden Ring community with a common goal without fundamentally changing the gameplay.
Players don't need to abandon their existing character builds, learn new event systems, or follow separate seasonal progression paths. They can contribute to Community Quests simply by playing Elden Ring.
For players, Elden Ring Community Quests are less of a traditional limited-time event and more of an invitation.
Players return to Lands Between and play in their familiar way, but this time they will not only receive rewards for completing the game, but also a huge collective honor.
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Guide: New Classes, Armor Sets, Torrent Skins And Best Starting Builds
Elden Ring will be getting its Tarnished Edition on August 28th. This is a full edition for Nintendo Switch 2 and new players, while also offering veteran players a reason to start a new game with a few new additions.
For players who already own the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree, the standalone Tarnished Pack will be even more appealing. This smaller content pack includes two new starter classes, four armor sets, new Torrent skins, and pre-order bonuses such as gestures.
Whether you're new to Elden Ring or have hundreds of hours of gameplay, this article will guide you through what's new in Tarnished Edition and which starting builds are best suited for Heavy Knight and Idus Knight classes.

What's New in Tarnished Edition?
The confirmed new content includes:
- Two new starting classes: Heavy Knight and Idus Knight
- Four new armor sets
- Three interchangeable appearances for Torrent
- Additional gestures available with pre-order
For players new to Elden Ring, starting with Tarnished Edition is the easiest option, as it covers the base game, DLC, and the new content in one go.
However, if you already own the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree, Tarnished Pack is the real focus.
Tarnished Pack
Tarnished Pack can be considered a smaller, lower-priced DLC. Its standard price is €4.99, clearly not sold as a large expansion.
It's best suited for three types of players:
The first type is veteran players looking to start over. If your Faded Knight is already hundreds of levels high and you've fought the bosses countless times, going back to play might not be exciting anymore. Reborn as a Heavy Knight or Idus Knight will be much more fun than simply replicating an old build.
The second category is players who enjoy themed builds. For example, Heavy Knight is naturally suited to: heavy armor knight, greatsword knight, giant weapon, Strength build; while Idus Knight is clearly suited to: agility knight, light greatsword, agility/faith hybrid build.
The third category is collectors. The four new armor sets and Torrent skins won't change the build environment, but for players who enjoy collecting gear in Elden Ring, these items are valuable in themselves.
Heavy Knight
Heavy Knight is the most straightforward of the two new classes. He is a heavily armored knight wearing heavy steel armor, wielding a large scimitar, and crushing enemies head-on with Strength and Endurance.
Starting Stats
The currently displayed initial stats are:
- Level: 10
- Vigor: 14
- Mind: 8
- Endurance: 17
- Strength: 15
- Dexterity: 11
- Intelligence: 7
- Faith: 8
- Arcane: 9
The most striking stat is the high Endurance of 17. This means Heavy Knight can simultaneously handle heavy armor, wield large weapons, and meet high Endurance requirements very early on.
High Endurance is crucial in the early Elden Rings. Many Strength characters' initial problem isn't insufficient damage, but the rapid depletion of their stamina bar.
When you equip heavy gear, you easily enter a heavily burdened state, significantly slowing your rolls and affecting your invincibility frames. You either need to prioritize increasing Endurance or replace some of your overly heavy gear.
Heavy Knight starts with 17 Endurance, alleviating some of the burden and reducing the need to prioritize Endurance too early in your stat allocation. Combined with 14 Vigor, the early game margin for error is quite high, whether traversing the map or fighting bosses.
If you want to get these early stat upgrades in place faster, you can also buy Elden Ring Runes from EZG.com and put more levels into Vigor and Strength without spending as much time farming.
Therefore, if you're new to Elden Rings or simply don't want to stick to ranged kiting, Heavy Knight is a very convenient choice.
Starting Weapon
Based on current demonstrations, Heavy Knight wields a large, curved weapon, remarkably similar in appearance to the existing Dismounter.
The official announcement has explicitly mentioned four new armor sets, without specifically highlighting the new weapons. Therefore, this weapon is highly likely part of the existing weapon system, rather than a new addition specifically for Tarnished Pack.
This also makes Heavy Knight seem less novel than Idus Knight. Its biggest changes are primarily in starting attributes and equipment combinations, rather than bringing a completely different combat style.
Idus Knight
Compared to Heavy Knight, Idus Knight is significantly more interesting. He hails from a region called Idus, characterized by lightweight equipment and an emphasis on Dexterity and weapon handling.

Starting Stats
The currently announced initial stats are:
- Level: 7
- Vigor: 10
- Mind: 12
- Endurance: 11
- Strength: 13
- Dexterity: 15
- Intelligence: 8
- Faith: 11
- Arcane: 6
The most striking initial stat for Idus Knight is undoubtedly 15 Dexterity. However, his other stats are also quite good: 13 Strength, 12 Mind, and 11 Faith. This makes him less suited to a pure Dexterity build and more easily adaptable to a hybrid build.
What's even more interesting is 11 Faith. Many early-game Incantations in Elden Rings don't have high skill ceilings, and this class can use buffs early on with just a little Faith. Combined with 12 Mind, his Power Points are also significantly higher than Heavy Knight's, allowing for more comfortable use of weapon arts and prayers.
Therefore, if you prefer a melee-focused playstyle, incorporating buffs, Incantations, and Weapon Skills, Idus Knight is clearly better suited for this build.
Starting Weapon
The most appealing aspect of Idus Knight right now is its starting weapon.
From the official previews, this weapon looks very similar to Milady. Milady is a Light Greatsword added in Shadow of the Erdtree, with lighter and more agile movements than traditional Greatswords while retaining decent attack range. Its feel is noticeably different from straight swords and Greatswords.
Normally, Milady is only available after entering Shadow of the Erdtree, meaning it's impossible to build around this weapon from the start in the base game.
However, if Milady is confirmed as Idus Knight's starting weapon, its difference from other classes becomes more significant. You can start the game from Limgrave with Light Greatsword, instead of waiting until you enter Land of Shadow to finally obtain the core weapon.
This is why I'd prefer to try Idus Knight first. Heavy Knight's advantages are more straightforward and practical, while Idus Knight brings a completely new way to start the game.
For veteran players who are already very familiar with Elden Ring, Tarnished Edition may not be enough to support a whole major update. But if you were looking for a reason to start a new game anyway, it at least provides a more interesting option than simply copying the old build.
Elden Ring DLC: How To Defeat This Boss Features Indiscernible Moves? - Putrescent Knight Guide
Putrescent Knight serves as an optional boss in the latter stage in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, who is pretty hard to deal with because of its indiscernible moves.
This boss fight is separated into two semi-distinct phases, one is to against a large skeleton equipped with a powerful weapon, and the other is a horse which will cut the breathe of you.

Therefore, it is necessary to make a well-prepared plan before launching a fight with him. Discovering his weaknesses, grasping his attack mode and equipping with powerful weapons will help you diminish this boss easily. This passage will detail the specific strategy to defeat him.
The Location Of Putrescent Knight
Putrescent Knight is located at the bottom of a pit in Stone Coffin Fissure. Players are available to enter this location destroying Miquella’s seal, which will dead your way to Fissure. Then head to the southern edge of Cerulean Coast and search for an enormous rift in the middle of the peninsula.
Find a path going down surrounded this rift, where lies Site Of Grace.
Go along the road, you will find a ledge. Jump off it, then Putrescent Knight will appear.
Putrescent Knight Movesets
Among the toughest bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree, the high aggression is often what makes the fight so difficult. But increasing aggression and putting the player on the defensive is not the only way FromSoftware has used to increase the challenge of the game.
Some bosses feature some unique moves which are pretty hard to understand, and it is also enhancing the difficulty of the game. And Putrescent Knight can be served as a vivid example.
His moves features twisting, and spinning in inhuman ways which are targeted to confuse players at first glance. And another uniqueness is Putrescent Knight’s horse. His mount further expands the uncertainty of the way forward, making Putrescent Knight faster and more erratic.
Here lies a specific description of moves Putrescent Knight will use in the game.
Swing Attacks
Putrescent Knight will charge at the player and swing his cleaver, which could be avoided by rolling into the boss.
Cleaver Spin Attack
Putrescent Knight will jump off his horse and charge at the player. Then the boss will start spinning, standing upside down, and running straight at the player. This attack is very consistent and you need to dodge twice to completely avoid it.
Boomerang Throw
Putrescent Knight will pull away from the player and throw his cleaver like a boomerang.
Purple Flame Barrage
The boss starts raining down frostbite-inflicting flame on the arena. The player can avoid it by jumping.
Purple Flame Circle
The boss will spew out flames in the shape of a circle to deal with flame attacks.
Purple Flame Breath
The boss spews out purple flames in a straight line. The player can jump to avoid it. After the attack, he will walk towards the player without giving the player any chance to fight back.
How To Beat Putrescent Knight?
Accurately finding the boss’s weakness and equipping the right weapon are necessary conditions to ensure victory in the battle. It is noticeable that Putrescent Knight is particularly fragile to Holy and slightly less fragile to fire. Although his attacks do look difficult to parry, as long as you dodge in time, they will not cause significant damage.
You are required to have 8 Scadutree upgrades for consistent damage and defense before fighting with this boss. Below lies the best load out to deal with Putrescent Knight:
Talisman
- Sacred Scorpion Charm
- Carian Filigreed Crest
- Shard of Alexander
- Two-Headed Turtle Talisman
- Holy-Shrouding Cracked Tear
Flask of Wondrous Physick
- Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear
Weapons
- Sacred Relic Sword
- Any Holy Damage Dealing Weapon
Armor
- Highest resistance with Medium Roll
Putrescent Knight Boss Rewards
220,000 Elden Ring Runes and Remembrance of Putrescence will be claimed after slaying this tricky boss. And Remembrance of Putrescence can be exchanged for other two items with Finger Reader Enia, which are Putrescent Cleaver or Vortex of Putrescence, respectively.
Considering the fact that Cleaver will build up frost and Vortex features a ridiculously small range, players will make a simple choice.
That’s it for Putrescent Knight in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Thanks for reading.
Elden Ring DLC: How To Head To This Vital Area Full Of Dangerous Bosses? - Jagged Peak
The completion of Igon’s questline and knocking down one of the most overwhelming bosses in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC requires players to head to a place called Jagged Peak.
Reaching this vital area is not a simple task. We have witnessed a group of players feel confused about its location. Even after knowing the specific route, it takes strong faith and powerful strength to reach this area.

This imposing area is actually located in a secret passageway which features complexity and difficulties. This article will detail the specific steps to reach this place and what you can get in this area.
How To Get To Jagged Peak?
It is indeed possible to reach Jagged Peak in the early game, but it is not recommended. Because your weapons and equipment and level are not enough to compete with the various dangerous enemies and bosses in the area.
Therefore, it is recommended that to level up the performance of your weapon and collect an abundance of Scadutree Fragments to negate additional damage in the early stage. And if you find it hard to upgrade your weapons, then you can devote some Elden Ring Runes to help you directly.
Players are also required to head through a small cave known as Dragon’s Pit, and fight with specific boss there to open the path toward Jagged Peak. To get to Dragon’s Pit, players have to head across Ellac Greatbridge, which begins Castle Site Front of Grace. Then head East and follow a road leading to a small mountainside. Then cross the ridge and continue along a less traveled path.
At the top of this area, you will find a cave located on the left of the mountainside, which is marked by a glowing fire pit.
Inside this cave lies Dragon’s Pit, which is made quite straightforward and simple. The entire Dragon’s Pit stretches out in a very winding way until you see a large altar of sorts. There is a large pit keeping you from approaching the altar. You just need to walk into this pit from the edge and then fall a long distance until you land safely at the bottom.
Arriving there, there will be a Boss Door, and you are required to contend with Ancient Dragon-Man inside. Slaying this foe and you are available at another door at the back of the boss arena. Keep going and you will reach Site of Grace, and then Jagged Peak.
What’s Found In Jagged Peak?
There are a few of important locations in Jagged Peak are waiting for you to search.
If you determine to make a way down the small cliff side, then you will encounter a large area with a sleeping Jagged Peak Drake. And if you take the path to the right, Grand Altar of Dragon Communion will be your final destination.
It is noticeable that players are allowed to trade Dragon Hearts for special abilities. Afterwards, players will reach an area called Charo’s Hidden Grave, where you will encounter two more Jagged Peak Drakes, along with a boss named Ancient Dragon Senessax. This is also a key area to complete Igon’s questline. Moreover, you are offered a chance to challenge DLC Super Boss, Bayle The Dread.
That’s all the information you need to know about Jagged Peak. Thanks for reading.
Elden Ring DLC: Where The Source Of Inspiration Comes From? - Mythologies
It is commonly known that Elden Ring serving as one of the best Souls-like games introduced by FromSoftware so far. You may be surprised by the designs of side quests, dungeon, overwhelming bosses, and most importantly, it is a twisting story filled with distraction and satisfactions.
A lot of hard work has been devoted to making this game, especially in the aspects of the designs of lore and mythology. The lores and characters in Shadow of the Erdtree expansion have embraced over 70 new weapons, 30 new armor sets, and new bosses. Each of them has a specific origin and designs.

This article will introduce the mythological elements in Elden Ring to help players better understand this game.
What Mythology Is Elden Ring Based On?
Strictly speaking, it would take all the symbolism, cultural touchstones and other mythological and historical references in this game to piece together the origin of creatures, locations and overall style. This kind of discussion is usually obscure. To keep it much easier to understand and concise, here is the relatively simple introduction of it.
The Link With Celtic
Obviouly, Elden Ring has not limited its emphasis on one particular event or country. Hallmarks of Norse, Celtic, and Greek legends, among many others, can be easily discovered throughout the game. Such as Messmer the Impaler in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, bears much more similarities to one of history’s most feared rulers, Vlad the Impaler, also known as Vlad Dracula.
The entire background of the game is set in the Middle Ages. If you make a deep research in mythology section, you will find plenty of names, descriptions and designs comes from the combination of Irish and Celtic myths.
For an instance, Fire Giants resemble Irish Fomorians, who features huge physique that settled in Ireland. Twisting trees are similar to Deirdre of the Sorrows, and its inspiration is a much-talked tale of two lovers that had twisting trees above their graves. Also, we can find the same elements between Golden Beast Crest Shield and Celtic Battersea Shield. This shield is of big use in the game, and you can embrace to by devoting some Elden Ring Runes.
In addition, it is noticeable that everything has more than one name, which symbols the routine of old Celtic. The idea is that only by knowing the true name of something can you truly master it.
Sprinklings of Somewhere Else
There are also a few other cultural elements in the game. For example, the existence of Japanese Shintoism and Christianity.
For example, to use swords to mark graves or the significance of warriors represents the tradition of Norse Viking. And Erdtree draws the name of Yggdrasil the World Tree, which can be viewed as the most obvious and sparkly example.
It has to be admitted that a good game design must have drawn a lot of valuable content, and Elden Ring is a good example of this. Drawing inspiration from excellent culture and creating it in the game makes it an actual game.
The above is the introduction to the luxurious elements in Elden Ring. Thank you for reading.
