Path of Exile Future Explained: Will It Survive Alongside PoE 2 or Is It Being Replaced?
Many players had believed that as Path of Exile 2 gained more attention, PoE 1 might gradually transition to maintenance, serving only existing players. However, the development team has clearly stated that this is not the case.
They hope both games can have their own space for development while continuing to expand Path of Exile community. Furthermore, they haven't stopped adjusting the core gameplay experience.

Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame has been released, and in an interview, team members shared their views on future PoE 1 updates, new player experience, team development methods, and the relationship between PoE 1 and PoE 2.
Expected Updates - Make Easier to Learn for New Players
Official Perspective
One of the most resonated points within Path of Exile community is that the official focus is now on new players. What has led them to focus on the new player experience and how to get them started?
PoE team stated that if a game stops attracting new players, it will ultimately decline. Even if the current player base is very stable, it cannot be assumed that all players will remain. Therefore, Path of Exile will continue to lower the barrier to entry and improve the new player experience, thus maintaining the game's long-term vitality.
One of the biggest feedback from the community regarding Path of Exile is its complexity. While this complexity is part of PoE unique charm, the numerous systems, equipment mechanics, and technical terms can create a significant learning curve for newcomers to ARPGs.
Therefore, the developers have begun revising the early game flow to make it easier for first-time Path of Exile players to understand the game. These changes are not intended to reduce the game's depth, but to help more new players enter the vast Wraeclast.
Improvement Methods
Many new players may overlook Crafting Bench system during their ancient Path of Exile runs, or even be unaware of its importance. However, for experienced players, Crafting Bench is a crucial tool for addressing resistance, damage, and equipment enhancement issues by consuming Path of Exile Currency.
If a valuable tool, painstakingly crafted, cannot function because players are unaware of its existence, then this indicates a problem with the game's onboarding.
PoE developers need to make Crafting Bench more easily discoverable for players, such as by adding more town environments, allowing players to naturally encounter this feature as they progress through the story.
A keyword system is also a key feature that the community hopes will be implemented in Curse of the Allflame. This system allows players to view keywords in equipment or skill descriptions and get direct explanations without frequently switching to third-party wikis.
However, the development team also stated that the content of Path of Exile is so vast that it's currently impossible to add keyword explanations to all content at once. They will gradually improve this feature in future updates.
Advantages of Developing Simultaneously with Other Games
Many players are curious why Path of Exile can maintain a high update frequency while the team size is much smaller than some AAA studios. The development team revealed that the number of people currently responsible for the core development of PoE1 is not large, including game designers, gameplay programmers, UI programmers, and artists, totaling about a few dozen people.
To avoid excessive management layers, they emphasized that the company has fewer meetings and process restrictions, allowing developers to communicate directly with those responsible for decision-making. If a designer needs a specific art asset, they can directly contact the corresponding artist, instead of going through multiple departments for approval.
This direct communication method allows the team to resolve issues quickly. A modification request might receive feedback within minutes, rather than waiting days or even weeks. This is a key reason they can consistently release major league updates every few months. EZG believes this development model is worth emulating by other game companies.
Another reason is that a significant amount of content can be shared between the two games during the development of Path of Exile. For example, monster models, animations, boss designs, and some art assets can be adjusted and applied to different versions.
Community players have discovered that some boss content in POE 1 actually comes from asset reuse during POE 2 development process. By changing models, colors, equipment, effects, and animations, the same base asset can present a completely different combat experience.
Future Development of Both Games
Interoperability
Besides sharing some resources, community players frequently discuss the possibility of adding some excellent POE 2 features to POE 3.29, including the highly anticipated Build Planner and skill tree-related tools. The development team stated that the challenge wasn't primarily technical, but the allocation of UI development resources.
They hope to create a more similar tool experience for both games in the future, making it easier for players to switch between POE 1 and POE 2 when creating build guides and community content. This shared approach is a crucial link between the two titles; although they are different games, many systems, resources, and development experiences actually influence each other.
In the future, as both games continue to update, you'll can see more excellent features interacting between the two versions. For more information on the latest POE news, follow EZG Facebook. We also have limited-time Path of Exile Currency Giveaways.
Symbiosis and Coexistence
Regarding discussions about whether POE 2 will replace POE 1, the development team stated that they have no plans to abandon Path of Exile 1. For a long time to come, the team will continue to develop content for both POE 1 and POE 2, rather than relegating one game to a secondary position.
For them, the two titles are not competitors, but unique experiences sharing a large community. POE 2 can attract new players, while POE 1 still has its core player base. They hope the two games can mutually promote each other, bringing more players into the world of Path of Exile.
The official plans for Path of Exile series are very clear: POE 1 will continue to develop, while incorporating excellent designs from POE 2; the team will also continue to optimize the new player experience, allowing more players to enter this complex yet deep ARPG world. The future of Path of Exile will not only revolve around new titles, but the two games will grow together.
Starting PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame? These 5 Builds Offer a Smooth League Experience
PoE Patch 3.29, Curse of the Allflame League, will launch on July 24th. This patch brings significant changes. Adjustments to skill gems, a reworked socket mechanic, and buffs to some skills are all likely to alter the early game experience.
Especially with the introduction of the all-white socket mechanic, the color matching issues that previously plagued many players have been greatly reduced, allowing many builds to be completed much faster. Builds like Rift Spear, Flame Barrage, and some lightning skills have a chance to rise in popularity in the new patch.
Of course, there's no single right way to progress. Some players like to rush T16 on the first day, some prefer to slowly build their characters, and some simply want to play a skill they like. Therefore, the five builds recommended here prioritize stability, progression experience, and practicality in the early game.

Dual Strike of Ambidexterity Gladiator
If you enjoy melee combat but don't want to spend too much time in the early game, then Dual Strike of Ambidexterity Gladiator is the perfect choice for your Curse of the Allflame League.
The biggest feature of this build is its balanced offense and defense. Relying on Gladiator Versatile Combatant Ascendancy passive skill, after reaching the attack block cap, you can further enhance spell block ability, giving your character good survivability.
One thing I particularly like about this build is its very smooth progression path. Early leveling doesn't require waiting for core skills; you can use skills like Frost Blades as a transition, and then switch to the main playstyle after obtaining Dual Strike.
Furthermore, it doesn't have high gear requirements; it's playable in SSF mode and can be quickly leveled up in Trade mode. After PoE Patch 3.29 socket changes, gear adjustments are much easier, which is a significant buff for melee builds that require multiple skill colors.
If you want to play melee characters early on but don't want to pursue complex mechanics from the start, this build is a relatively stable choice.
Glacial Cascade Miner Elementalist
Glacial Cascade Miner Elementalist is a familiar early-game build for veteran PoE players.
Its gameplay is simple: place mines, stack cold build-up, and watch the monsters disappear instantly.
The biggest advantage of this build is its very significant damage scaling. Even without top-tier gear in the early game, you can progress through the map thanks to the skill multipliers; and as your gear improves, the damage ceiling remains very high.
For returning PoE players, I think it's more user-friendly than many popular builds. You don't need to understand complex mechanics; just follow the talent and gear path to reliably reach the late game.
Furthermore, Patch 3.29 buffed Glacial Cascade with increased base damage, making it competitive again. If you're looking for a stable, simple, and effective early-game build, this one won't disappoint.
Icicle Mines Deadeye
Icicle Mines Deadeye is a relatively unique build among the initial recommendations for Curse of the Allflame League.
Unlike traditional PoE builds that focus on stacking damage, it emphasizes avoidance and survival mechanics. Through high avoidance, spell overpowering, and Acrobatics-related talents, it minimizes the character's chances of taking damage.
What I find interesting about this build is that it's not the kind of build that looks overpowered at first glance, but the actual gameplay is very comfortable.
In the early game, it has good mob clearing ability; it also maintains stable output in Tier 16 maps. Later, it can be shifted to a life-stacking build to increase damage and survivability.
If you're tired of the usual builds and want to try something different, Icicle Mines Deadeye is worth considering.
Earthshatter Berserker
Earthshatter Berserker is a simple and aggressive build that I personally like.
It doesn't have many fancy mechanics; the core is Warcry enhancement, then one hammer blow wipes out a horde of monsters.
The biggest advantage of this build is its smooth performance in Patch 3.29 League start. Early game, four-piece gear sets are enough to push the map; the core factor affecting damage is actually a high-DPS axe.
As gear improves, damage scaling is rapid, and it's fully capable of challenging endgame content in the late game. Players can gradually invest their PoE Currency into upgrading their weapon, defenses, and key equipment pieces to improve overall performance.
Of course, it's not without its drawbacks; after all, melee gameplay requires some skill and positioning. But if you enjoy the feeling of "charging in and smashing the screen," Earthshatter Berserker is definitely for you.
Poisonous Concoction of Bouncing
The last build is a classic early PoE League pick: Poisonous Concoction of Bouncing.
The biggest advantage of this build is its simplicity and low gear requirements.
During leveling, you can directly use Poisonous Concoction or smoothly transition using skills like Caustic Arrow. Once you get the core skill, you can basically push through with little gear pressure.
It doesn't rely on powerful weapons, making it very comfortable in the early game when resources are limited. For players who want to quickly complete the story and enter the map phase, this low-cost, high-return playstyle is very appealing.
Furthermore, the socket mechanism adjustments in Patch 3.29 have reduced the restrictions on skill colors, which is also an improvement for builds that require flexible skill combinations.
If you're just looking for a build that's "just for day one, don't want to research too much, and just start grinding," I think it's still an excellent choice.

While Curse of the Allflame League brought many changes, the core of a truly suitable build for beginners is still stability, comfort, and the ability to continuously grow.
The most important thing at the beginning of the League isn't pursuing the so-called strongest build, but choosing a character you're willing to play for dozens of hours. After all, the greatest joy of PoE is building your ultimate character from a shabby Exile.
Is Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame Worth the Hype? Mercenary Returns, Crafting Buffs, and New Skill Gems
The highly anticipated Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Curse of the Allflame has finally released its detailed patch notes, outlining Challenge League mechanics, changes, and additions included in this new league. So, after the developer's livestream, did you carefully read the still very lengthy notes forum released by GGG?
If you've already browsed this but still don't understand what it's about, or if you haven't started browsing yet, you definitely can't miss EZG.com's detailed analysis of POE Patch 3.29, including whether new league is worth trying, and how the important changes and additions will affect your experience in Curse of the Allflame expansion.
New Challenge League - Curse of the Allflame Challenge League
Similar to previous league changes, PoE 3.29 also introduces a new challenge league called Curse of the Allflame. According to the developers' patch notes, this league seems to be related to the ocean, sailing, and adventure. Does this remind you of the nearly year-long Settlers of Kalguur League, which also had a sailing theme?
In this league, your main NPC to interact with is Valerie, who needs your help to find long-forgotten treasures deep in Wraeclast's oceans, especially charts. These will bring you closer to boarding Sovereign and setting sail! However, you must be warned that this exploration process is very dangerous: giant waves, pirates, and all kinds of plunder will threaten your voyage.
To escape these terrifying threats, you can dive into the ocean and collect enough sparks of the Allflame, which can effectively protect you during massive waves. Furthermore, the ocean floor holds abundant loot, such as Gold, PoE currency, and various types of gear waiting to be collected. Among these, the most crucial item to plunder is the chart.
By piecing together charts, you can embark on a voyage, a grand underwater adventure where you'll reap unprecedented rewards. Most importantly, this voyage isn't a onetime event; each visit will provide corresponding rewards. Furthermore, in PoE 3.29, certain gear or buff items' affixes will further enhance the quantity or quality of rewards!
According to GGG's description of this mechanism, the generous rewards are often hidden in below-decks, which contain the core of Curse of the Allflame Challenge League mechanic. When you put it into an item, it splits into countless ghostly fragments, from which you can choose one to keep in your collection.
These fragments will make searching for valuable Ducats on the seabed much easier. This is a league currency unique to Patch 3.29, which can be used in-game for crafting processes such as warping and twisting existing or new PoE items - a method never seen before in previous leagues.
This new Curse of the Allflame challenge league still includes 40 brand-new challenges, with 8 more in Ruthless version. Completing all challenges will earn you micro-transaction rewards exclusive to this league. Additionally, starting with the 19th challenge, you'll receive a Curse of the Allflame Totem Pole as a decoration for your hideout every three challenges completed.
Mercenaries of Trarthus Came in Core League
Due to popular demand, Mercenaries of Trarthus league system from Patch 3.26 has been officially added to Path of Exile and has become a permanent core feature. From Act 3 onwards, you will encounter Mercenaries from the lawless cities of Trarthus who will challenge you, betting items carried by the mercenary and your gold.
If you succeed in the challenge, the mercenary will become your ally in the Curse of the Allflame expansion, helping you acquire more loot; however, if you fail, your bet will be forfeited, and the mercenary will disappear, awaiting your next encounter. According to the patch notes, the locations with the most mercenaries are The Sceptre of God, The Grand Arena, The Ridge, and The Hidden Underbelly.
After you hire a mercenary, their passive attributes and skills will adjust based on the level of the area you are exploring, up to a maximum of level 68. However, the items you can equip them with, such as weapons, armor, and boots, are limited by the level of the area where the mercenary was discovered.
Meanwhile, the number of mercenaries you bring is not counted in the team lineup, so they will not increase the difficulty of boss encounters or improve the quality of dropped items. Also, when you win a mercenary's challenge and loot their Rucksacks in Endgame Maps, you will no longer find Orbs of Transmutation or Orbs of Augmentation.
Normally, a character can only equip one mercenary, but the new Luminary Ascendancy Class for Scion breaks this rule. This class allows you to hire three mercenaries at once, two of whom need to be on standby in towns and hideouts, and one who is ready for battle at any time; moreover, the gear on the mercenaries can be freely changed to create more build potential.
Some Added Content
In addition to these two very important league mechanics, Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame also adds some fresh blood to this game content that has been running for over 10 years, such as:
- 2 New Bloodline Classes, one which is exclusive to Curse of the Allflame challenge league
- 4 Exceptional Skill Gems
- 2 Exceptional Support Gems
- 4 Transfigured Skills
- 15 Unique Items
- 3 Divination Cards
- Crafting Bench in every Town from Act 2 onwards
This is just a small part of it. There are also various new additions included in the regular balance adjustments, such as adding extra affixes to special items; or adding an Altered Prophecy cluster to Atlas Passive Tree to make specific rewards drop more frequently, as well as adding additional currency types, etc, which will make POE Patch 3.29 more exciting to explore.
Endgame Changes
The last change you need to pay attention to in Path of Exile Patch 3.29 is the endgame. In the previous league, the original game's endgame was criticized by players as being as poor as the current sequel, which greatly disappointed them. This time, GGG listened to their feedback and made corrections.
In the endgame of Curse of the Allflame expansion, Voidstone will cause some unusual reactions, typically affecting the edge maps of Atlas. These maps will no longer be affected by Atlas Passives and will instead have their own unique map affixes:
- Reflecting Mists do not spawn in normal maps.
- Nameless Seers will not spawn in normal maps, and new Scrying Orbs will drop in Tier 14 and above maps instead of Nameless Seers' Scrying function.
- Fully Revealed Heist Blueprint Wing will randomly generate some Rogue Companions.
- The single-plot Sacred Grove can be enhanced; and Strongbox is available for gambling.
With this exploration involving unstable anomalies, the endgame in POE 3.29 contained more uncertainty and more farming strategies, routes, and ideas, which in turn inspired players to further explore this ever-changing game, thus achieving the developers' goal!
This concludes our analysis of some key mechanics, additions, and changes in the current Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame. With only a week until the new league launch, in addition to gathering more leaked information through social media and the community, be sure to follow EZG Facebook.
We will update league patch release information as soon as possible and host some PoE currency giveaways at the start of the season, giving you a chance to win valuable Divine Orbs, Chaos Orbs, and Exalted Orbs for creating the best starter builds. Don't hesitate, you might be the lucky one!
Overall, EZG.com considers this league overhaul of Path of Exile a very risky but currently very successful innovation. It brought back the highly praised mercenary mechanic and made endgame more challenging - things that weren't done before, but that players loved. If you previously gave up on it for these reasons, July 24th will be the perfect time to return!
Path of Exile 3.29 Predictions: 3 Huge Nerfs And 3 Massive Buffs in Curse of the Allflame
Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame will launch on July 24, 2026 (Pacific Time). The official GGG livestream will be held on July 16th. Don't worry, the livestream is just around the corner, and we'll soon know all about Path of Exile 3.29.
Recent leaks have revealed a lot of information. This article will introduce three contents that may be buffed or nerfed in Path of Exile 3.29. Let's take a look.

Nerfs Content
Minion Pact Support Gem
This Exceptional Support Gem, introduced in 3.28 league, is arguably the strongest support gem in recent years. It provides a fixed physical damage bonus to support spells based on the health of the sacrificed summon.
Even with a small investment, when applied to Dark Marionette, it provides approximately 1000 additional physical damage, typical of level 20 Added Cold or Added Lightning support offers. Then, adding the summon life passive, cluster jewels, and gem level, Minion Pact Support Gem's damage becomes absurd.
This gem was already severely out of balance in League 3.28. When combined with Blade Vortex skill, it increases Minion Pact's damage on the first cast and maintains an excessively strong bonus throughout its duration.
It's expected that GGG won't just adjust the numbers; they'll likely remove or completely rework this gem in patch 3.29.
Kinetic Fusillade
In the first week of League 3.28, it had a 13% usage rate, far exceeding the second most popular skill (5%). Its popularity is largely due to Hierophant totem variant, which provides an extremely safe and powerful early-league experience.
I predict that while this skill won't be completely nerfed, it will be appropriately weakened to align it with other skills. The most likely change is targeted restrictions on totem interactions, or even a complete ban on the skill's interaction with totems, to curb its dominance as an automated playstyle.
Screams of the Desiccated
This unique belt provides permanent shrine buffs and is not expected to receive a direct numerical nerf, but its acquisition method is highly likely to change. In PoE 3.28 league, it was easy to obtain by defeating Sesh boss, which appears in almost all maps.
In Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame, Screams of the Desiccated may become much harder to obtain, making it extremely rare. This effectively amounts to a major nerf, causing the belt's price to skyrocket.
If you want to quickly obtain this item in Path of Exile Curse of the Allflame, the easiest way is to trade with others, although the price may fluctuate. If you don't have enough funds after the game launches, you can buy Path of Exile 1 Currency from EZG.com, which will provide you with the safest and fastest way to acquire it.
Enhanced Content
Self-Cast Class
In the past few leagues, the traditional Self-Cast Class has been relatively weak, barely surviving only with special builds like Archmage or Life Stacking. GGG has consistently focused on balancing specific spellcasters, such as adjusting wand attacks in PoE 3.27 league and holy skills in 3.28 league. Changes to Self-Cast Spells are expected in 3.29 league.
Currently, it appears that the core mechanics of Self-Cast will be strengthened, including increased damage bonuses from gem levels, enhanced cast speed bonuses from talent trees and equipment, and improved caster defense.
If a buff is indeed being implemented, Archmage will also receive one. However, Archmage is already strong enough, and I believe they will nerf it while buffing other self-cast classes to achieve balance.
Because, generally speaking, apart from Archmage, other self-cast classes have been relatively weak for a long time, and they deserve some attention. Players who like Self-Cast classes can look forward to it; there might be unexpected surprises.
Rite of Aquarius Ascendancy
Rite of Aquarius is a dynamic, rotating Scion ascendancy introduced in Path of Exile 3.28. While its concept is good, its actual performance has been disappointing, making it relatively weak.
Since ascendancy nodes change with each league, this system must be strong enough to compensate for its temporary weaknesses. To ensure its success in 3.29 league, GGG may need to significantly increase the base strength of Red Aquarian, creating more influential and unique build ideas, making it an ideal choice for theoretical builders.
Under-used Bloodline Nodes
Finally, my prediction for buffs in PoE Curse of the Allflame is bloodline classes, specifically some very weak and underutilized bloodline nodes.
Bloodline system underwent balance adjustments in 3.28 league, but many nodes remain unpopular and weak. GGG is expected to continue this work in PoE Curse of the Allflame, focusing on the worst-performing nodes, such as The Vivid Cat (Oshabi bloodline), It Wasn't Me (Delirious bloodline), and Death Offering (Karui bloodline).
The goal is to increase the strength of these underutilized nodes, giving players more options and making the bloodline system a more meaningful choice in character building. Furthermore, sesh bloodlines are likely to be integrated into the core game mechanics regardless of how players challenge the relevant bosses.
These are my predictions for three buffs and three nerfs in Path of Exile 3.29 league. If you want to know more, follow EZG Facebook; there will also be occasional giveaways.
Players shouldn't have to wait too long to find out the final result, as the patch notes should be released immediately after the full livestream on July 16th. Let's look forward to it together!
Path of Exile 3.29 Trailer Analysis: Why Players Believe Abyss Is Getting a Massive Rework?
With only a few weeks until the official release of Path of Exile patch 3.29, Curse of the Allflame, the game developers have released some new teaser information, including trailers.
Players have analyzed the best trailers and speculated about what Patch 3.29 will contain. The most popular theory is that Abyss will receive an update, and its gameplay will become similar to that in PoE 2.
In addition, the game may add more Transfigured Gems and enhance Minion summoning mechanic.
Below, I will focus on introducing these speculations.

Abyss Update
Abyss update is the most significant content in patch 3.29. Why do players have this speculation? In what direction will it be updated? This stems from the trailer.
Basis for Speculation
On July 12, 2026, PoE developers released a short trailer of approximately 30 seconds about patch 3.29, titled "They Rise Again".
Despite its brevity, the trailer is packed with information. First, the overall color scheme of the trailer is a dark, muted green, highly consistent with Abyss monster hordes - especially the eerie green backlighting unique to Abyssal Depths environment.
Second, there's the markings. A distinctive mark appears in the trailer, remarkably similar to the decorative patterns at the entrance to Abyss Crack and Abyssal Depths.
In PoE, Abyss Crack is the starting point for player encounters, appearing as irregular fissures in the ground that expand and spawn monsters upon approach. This particular mark looks like a miniature version of those fissures.
Based on these clues, it's fairly certain that patch 3.29, Curse of the Allflame, will significantly update Abyss gameplay.
Update Direction
Following the usual practice of game developers, many players speculate that PoE rework of Abyss will heavily reference Abyss from PoE 2. In PoE, Abyss wasn't particularly popular. First, it lacked "Chase Items" - items with extremely low drop rates but incredibly powerful stats, capable of altering a character's build or providing a significant boost.
Players primarily acquired Path of Exile 1 Currency, Abyss Jewels, and exclusive gear from Abyss.
Second, compared to other mob-based gameplay modes like Breach and Delirium, Abyss offered relatively low replayability - players were limited to tracking cracks, clearing mobs, and acquiring chests.
However, in PoE 2, Abyss was arguably the most popular gameplay mode.
From a mechanics design perspective, PoE 2's Abyss, while retaining the core framework, introduced several important gameplay expansions:
First was Desecrated Desecrated modifiers system. After completing Abyss encounters, players could obtain items like Preserved Bones, used to add hidden Desecrated modifiers to their gear.
Secondly, Abyss will interact with other encounters on the map; for example, defeated Rogue Exiles will respawn in different forms within Abyss.
Finally, there are Bosses. In higher-level Abyssal Depths, players can obtain Kulemak's Invitation by defeating monsters, which can be used to challenge more powerful bosses.
These gameplay elements make Abyss in PoE 2 highly replayable, full of opportunities and challenges - features absent in PoE.
Therefore, PoE patch 3.29, Curse of the Allflame, will likely borrow successful mechanics from PoE 2 to refine and upgrade its Abyss.
Other Updates
Besides the core Abyss updates, players widely speculate that patch 3.29 may also update Transfigured Gems and enhance the minion summoning mechanic.
New Transfigured Gems
Transfigured Gems are upgraded versions of existing Active Skill Gems in PoE: they create entirely new build possibilities by altering skill mechanics, damage types, or projectile behavior.
Since Affliction League, Transfigured Gems have become a staple of every patch update. In fact, the developers have confirmed that patch 3.29 will add a new batch of Transfigured Gems.
One confirmed example is Holy Hammers of Spirals. This skill is a variation of Holy Hammers.
Its mechanics are as follows: The user slams into the ground, consuming all Power Charges, summoning a holy hammer from the air to strike the target, spreading outwards based on the amount of Power Charges consumed and dealing more hammer blows. Additionally, each Power Charge consumed provides a 15% increase in Damage per Power Charge removed.
In addition, another confirmed Transfigured Gem is Reap of Butchering - a variant of Reap - which will also be added to the game in patch 3.29.
These designs align perfectly with the development team's goal: to expand build diversity through Transfigured Gems without significantly increasing the number of new Active Skill Gems.
Minion Gameplay Enhancement
In the released trailer screenshots, Animate Guardian's item UI has been updated. This change is interpreted by players as a signal that Minion gameplay will be strengthened.
The reason is that Animate Guardian is a commonly used support Minion in summoner builds, its core value being to provide powerful offensive and defensive buffs to the player and other summons.
By equipping specific Unique Items, Animate Guardian can significantly enhance the combat effectiveness of summoner builds.
Therefore, UI update suggests that the development team may be planning an overall buff to Minion gameplay.
The player community speculates that patch 3.29 might revive some dormant Minion builds by adding Transfigured Gems or adjusting base stats.
These are predictions regarding the new gameplay of Curse of the Allflame in Path of Exile patch 3.29.
If you're interested in this article, you can follow EZG Facebook. We will continue to provide more game-related information and will give away valuable in-game items to our followers in the future.
Currently, patch 3.29 looks very exciting and shouldn't be missed.
