Don't Blindly Follow Build Guides! How to Tweak Your Meta Character in PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame?

Don't Blindly Follow Build Guides! How to Tweak Your Meta Character in PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame?

How are the exiles still trapped in Path of Exile doing? Throughout the game's over 10-year development, players unanimously agree that the most agonizing period was when GGG would continuously release trailers about the next league, but with about a week until the developer's livestream, this undoubtedly whetted the players' appetites.

In this process, we can only hope that the trailer will reveal more valuable information. However, not all Exiles have the time and energy to meticulously study and analyze the details in the official trailer, especially those middle-aged PoE loyal players who no longer have the passion to wait for various leaks and only have about an hour to relax.

Therefore, this is where EZG.com comes in handy. We've compiled a list of posts and comments from current social media and communities, summarizing some preparations and tips for POE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame in the current timeframe. These tips may provide you with practical and effective assistance as soon as the new league officially launches on July 24th, helping you climb to the top of the leaderboard more quickly.Don't Blindly Follow Build Guides! How to Tweak Your Meta Character in PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame?

Choose Your Class Carefully

Throughout the many years of league changes in Path of Exile, you've probably heard countless times about the importance of carefully choosing your class in the early stages. This is mainly because even though the game allows you to create alts to try different playstyles, every new character has to go through the leveling process from Act 1 to Act 10 again, and nobody wants to go through this time-consuming and costly process multiple times.

Therefore, it's crucial to choose a suitable class at the start of the league and be prepared to carefully craft an optimal build for it that aligns with the current game content. However, this presents two choices: do you choose the strongest class in the current patch, or the class that best suits your playstyle? EZG.com recommends choosing the former for two reasons.

On the one hand, the builds of the stronger classes in the current league are generally quite good, enabling faster leveling and endgame completion in POE 3.29, thus providing you with a better gaming experience; on the other hand, as will be introduced below, there are more build guides for your reference.

Make Good Use of Build Guides

Once you've chosen a strong class option in PoE Curse of the Allflame, such as Ranger or Shadow, which have recently been hailed as S Tier by players, you'll find a deluge of build guides and tutorials for these classes on the community and social media after patch 3.29 is released. It's important to note that video guides are generally more helpful for crafting than text-based ones.

You can wait a couple of hours after the league starts and watch for bloggers posting build guides that have a similar playstyle to yours and focus on challenging gameplay rather than casual play. Then, jump into the game and try to emulate their approach. Don't rush things, because in Path of Exile, a game primarily about carfting build, thorough preparation is crucial.

If you encounter any issues or problems during crafting, promptly switch to the correct guide video. With the release of 3.29 Curse of the Allflame expansion, this type of content is expected to explode. After completing the entire league with a powerful character build, if you have extra time, create an alt that matches your preferred style. Then it's free time!

Have Own Subjective Insights about Builds

While a comprehensive build guide can save you a lot of time and effort in trying and failing, it doesn't mean you should blindly trust the guide. Instead, you should gradually develop your own insights into your build as you progress through the game and make timely modifications, such as adjusting the source of damage or defense.

For example, based on the balance adjustments leaked in Path of Exile 1 3.29, the build that summons numerous minions from behind to help you complete all damage tasks is the biggest potential pick in this league. This build will effectively reduce time consumption during leveling and completing all Acts, but the situation is somewhat unfavorable in endgame.

On the one hand, its ranged damage makes monsters or bosses who prefer melee attacks a greater threat to you; on the other hand, if your graphics card is not powerful enough, when your character summons more than 20 minions, your entire screen will become very laggy, or even crash, which is not worth it!

Furthermore, depending on the specific content in PoE, you'll need to adjust the priority of certain affixes in your build. For example, if you want to use map runs to farm PoE 1 currency or loot, you should pay special attention to affixes related to map clearing speed and movement speed. If you want to repeatedly obtain boss drops, you should appropriately increase damage output and survivability.

Focus on Affixes on Gear Prioritize Life and Resistance

Since item drops in PoE are completely random, unless you specifically camp out in trading posts, you can't perfectly replicate the gear setup in the build guide. Therefore, choosing the right affixes for gear is crucial after the new league starts. Pay special attention to Life and Resistance, which specifically need to appear in the following gear categories:

  • Life: Chest Piece, Amulet, Ring, and Claws
  • Resistance: Armor, Ring, Amulets, and Gloves

Besides these two affixes, the movement speed bonus affix on the boots is also very important, because only with sufficient mobility and flexibility can you quickly and safely complete all Acts, reach the endgame, and thus run all the maps in Atlas. If the dropped boots are not very efficient, they still need to be re-rolled.

This process may require a large amount of currency reserves, as the results of the roll are full of uncertainty. If you're on a limited budget, try to buy POE 1 currency from EZG.com. Both Divine Orbs and Chaos Orbs are available, and delivery is very fast, so it won't hinder your progress in exploring 3.29 Curse of the Allflame expansion.

One more thing: item filters are still very important, especially those that meet the needs of leveling from the early stages of the league to endgame. So, try those filters that have been shared multiple times in the community; they'll definitely help you progress.

That concludes all the preparations for POE 3.29. Although there are still almost three weeks until the official release, you should start taking action now, as the early stages of the league are extremely valuable, with countless player IDs logging in and dominating the leaderboards every minute. Good luck in the game!

PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame: New Transfigured Skills Could Define the New League Meta | Holy Hammers of Spirals & Reap of Butchery

PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame: New Transfigured Skills Could Define the New League Meta | Holy Hammers of Spirals & Reap of Butchery

The official release of Path of Exile 3.29, Curse of the Allflame, is scheduled for July 24th (Pacific Time). GGG Live will reveal all information regarding the new league and additional updates on Twitch on July 16th at 1 PM.

Two days prior, the official announcement teased new variant abilities for Curse of the Allflame: Holy Hammers of Spirals and Reap of Butchery. The game director briefly showcased the effects of these variant abilities in a video. It's common for abilities to be updated and adjusted with each new league release, so this isn't surprising.

However, the fact that these two Transfigured Skill Gems, introduced in PoE 3.28, are receiving variants so quickly raises questions about their potential importance as key resources in PoE 3.29.

Therefore, let's explore the skill changes these two gems bring.

PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame: New Transfigured Skills Could Define the New League Meta | Holy Hammers of Spirals & Reap of Butchery

Holy Hammers of Spirals

Origins

Holy Hammers is a new Strength and Intelligence skill introduced in Path of Exile 3.28 Mirage League, while Holy Hammers of Spirals is its transfigured version of Curse of the Allflame.

Its basic abilities include:

  • Attack
  • Slam
  • Melee
  • AoE
  • Lightning

Core Mechanics

The most distinctive feature of the regular Holy Hammers is its Power Charge mechanic. Using Power Charges provides extra Hammers, which played a vital role in shaping builds throughout 3.28. Therefore, in PoE 3.29, Holy Hammers of Spirals will rely even more heavily on Power Charge cycle.

Skill Variations

Based on the visual effects text in GGG game director's demonstration video, this version features a Salm tag and summons a Holy Hammer from above the character by consuming Power Charge.

Holy Hammers rapidly rotate and spread, forming a circular spiral attack area that covers a wider range of enemies, making it more suitable for maps with high monster density, such as Legion, Delirium, Breach, and Expedition.

It's important to note that Power Charge consumption only reaches your minimum consumption value.

Therefore, if your maximum Power Charge is 7, your minimum Power Charge is 2, and your current Power Charge is 6, activating Holy Hammers of Spirals will consume 4 Power Charges to reach your minimum value, which is 2 Power Charges.

You will also gain the corresponding skill effect from those 4 Power Charges. This means that as your Power Charge cap increases, using Holy Hammers of Spirals will result in more Holy Hammers falling, and they will spread downwards in a spiral centered on you.

Furthermore, you can see that with a gem level of 1, Holy Hammer can chain attacks a maximum of 7 times. Perhaps after Path of Exile 3.29 is released, the number of chain attacks will increase with gem levels, and perhaps all levels will have 7 chain attacks.

Gameplay Direction

1. Power Charge Stacking Slam

This playstyle best aligns with the design philosophy of Holy Hammers. It allows for the stacking of a large amount of Power Charge. Each time a skill is cast, consuming Power Charge, a large amount of additional Hammer is gained, significantly increasing your attack range and damage.

Currently, the mainstream Path of Exile 3.28 build based on this playstyle is Holy Hammers Inquisitor Starter Build.

2. Strength Stacking Holy Hammers

Utilizing Brutus' Lead Sprinkler, the higher your build's Power Charge, the more fire damage you gain, translating into extremely high Salm output.

Acquisition Methods

Holy Hammers of Spirals, as a Transfigured Gem, cannot be obtained from regular gem merchants. There are generally three main ways to farm it:

1. Labyrinth

Beat the final boss, Izaro, in Labyrinth. Use Divine Font from Labyrinth reward system to convert skill gems; there's a chance to obtain Holy Hammers of Spirals. You can bring a regular Holy Hammer into Labyrinth and try to convert it into Transfigured version after completion.

2. Trading Market

Non-Solo Self-Founded players can directly trade with other players on Trading Market. However, this skill is highly sought after in both the 3.28 and 3.29 Leagues, increasing demand and price.

Especially during the early stages of Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame. However, for players wanting to quickly build a Holy Hammers build, trading is more time-efficient than repeatedly farming Labyrinth.

Therefore, If you have a limited budget, you can also buy Path of Exile Currency from EZG.com after the 3.29 League goes live, which can help you acquire gear and improve your strength faster during the early game.

Secondly, some Transfigured Gems can also be obtained through special gem-related mechanisms, such as random Transfigured Gem rewards, seasonal content rewards, or other late-game drops.

However, these methods are usually highly random and cannot reliably guarantee obtaining Holy Hammers of Spirals, so they are not the primary acquisition methods.

Finally, Holy Hammers of Spirals requires you to equip Mace, Sceptre, and Staff weapons. This indicates that this gem variant does not fit the current Salm build, and a new build may be required to make effective use of it once PoE 3.29 is released.

PoE 3.29 Curse of the Allflame Reap of Butchery

Reap of Butchery

Origins

Reap of Butchery belongs to Transfigured direction of Reap Skill Gem, designed to change the original casting gameplay of Reap. The original Reap was a physical damage spell that applied a powerful physical debuff that dealt damage over time to the target.

Basic Skills:

  • Spell
  • Physical
  • AoE
  • Duration

Core Mechanics

Unlike Holy Hammers, Reap consumes health instead of mana. After applying the debuff to an enemy, if the enemy survives, you gain a stack of Blood Charge, increasing the spell's damage and cost, up to a maximum of 5 stacks. Each stack of Blood Charge increases the health cost by 20% and the damage dealt by 15%.

Skill Variations

Reap of Butchery is essentially a finishing blow. While it loses 40% of its instant damage, its base physical damage per second is 18% higher than the regular Reap spell.

Furthermore, Blood Charge provides an even greater damage bonus. The base Blood Charge damage bonus is 15%, reaching 75% at 5 stacks, while Reap of Butchery's Blood Charge increases the damage bonus by 25% per stack, reaching 125% at 5 stacks. This is its advantage.

As seen in the demonstration video, Reap of Butchery's release must be centered on the caster, which somewhat weakens its damage scaling.

Therefore, Reap of Butchery is more suitable for boss fights, single-target burst damage, and Physical Damage over Time. The key is to continuously stack Blood Charge throughout the build to ensure sustained damage, rather than increasing base damage.

Gameplay Direction

From the skill performance and basic design of Reap of Butchery, it's clear that it requires a sufficiently tanky build. The pursuit of base damage is not high; defense and maximum life are the primary considerations.

1. Ascendant

Ascendant can combine the advantages of multiple classes, achieving a good balance in physical damage, life regeneration, defense, and sustained damage.

2. Elementalist

Elementalist isn't the most traditional choice for Reap of Butchery, but it offers a very promising Physical-to-Elemental/Spell burst Reap build.

The core idea is to leverage elemental damage buffs, elemental penetration, and powerful damage amplification to transform Reap of Butchery from a traditional Physical DoT skill into a high-burst spell.

3. Occultist

Occultist can enhance map clearing capabilities using curses, chaos damage bonuses, and an energy shield system, while improving survivability through defensive mechanics.

The acquisition method for Reap of Butchery is the same as Holy Hammers of Spirals. In PoE 3.29 League, farming it in Merciless Labyrinth is highly recommended, as it offers a moderate difficulty level, faster completion times compared to other Labyrinths, and no specific requirements for gear.

Of course, if you intend to use this gem variant in a new league, you should prioritize life and defensive stats when choosing your build and gear.

In my opinion, Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame will definitely bring more than just skill variants of these two gems. Let's tune in to the decryption livestream on July 16th and don't forget to claim the livestream loot.

Path of Exile 3.29 Expansion Curse of the Allflame Explained: How Allflame Influence New League Mechanics?

Path of Exile 3.29 Expansion Curse of the Allflame Explained: How Allflame Influence New League Mechanics?

According to the official schedule, the full content of Path of Exile 3.29 expansion will be revealed via livestream at 1 PM Pacific Time on July 16th, officially unveiling the new league mechanics, new challenge content, and complete system changes.

After the livestream, Game Director Mark and Game Designer Octavian will hold a Q&A session to further answer player questions. Curse of the Allflame will be available for free on PC and consoles starting July 24th, Pacific Time.

Path of Exile 3.29 Expansion Curse of the Allflame Explained: How Allflame Influence New League Mechanics?

As the livestream approaches, discussions about map mechanics, trailer details, and gameplay continue to heat up. What exactly does Path of Exile 3.29 expansion bring us?

Allflame

In the world of Path of Exile, Allflame has always been a metaphorical and unsettling presence. It first appeared as an important item related to Fairgraves in Act 1, found in Ship Graveyard Cave, alongside the corpse of a slave girl. You need to find it and deliver it to Fairgraves to complete the quest Marooned Marine.

Based on current information, Allflame is more than just a simple quest item; it's more like a source of power capable of granting life at a significant cost, a medium between life and corruption. This concept was reignited in the latest PoE Curse of the Allflame trailer, quickly sparking widespread speculation within the community about its mechanics and plot.

In 3.29 expansion's storyline, Fairgraves remains a crucial character for understanding Allflame. His dialogue mentions that for Allflame to grant life, it must first be ignited with life, foreshadowing its later connection to the undead, curses, and corruption.

Fairgraves appears early in PoE story as a resurrected undead captain, and Allflame is likely one of the key factors causing his abnormal state. Some players further speculate that the undead controlled by Fairgraves are not necromancy in the traditional sense, but rather the result of forcibly igniting life remnants through Allflame.

This setting makes Allflame more than just a magical tool; it's more like a twisted life pact: granting form but depriving one of the right to natural death. If this theory holds true, then the storyline of PoE 3.29 will probably further reveal how Allflame influences undead transformation, soul remnants, and even the entire death rule of Wraeclast.

Judging from the atmosphere of the official PoE trailer, this expansion clearly strengthens the themes of the deep sea, voyages, and unknown curses. The opening line, A curse in the deep, directly sets the overall tone of the ocean and the fear of the unknown.

In the visual, a character sails on the water, and the only light source is Allflame itself. This visual expression reinforces two key metaphors: first, Allflame is a guiding light, but also a tempting fire; second, it may not be simply a tool of power, but an entity that actively calls upon its wielder.

Many players have even drawn parallels to real-world bioluminescent deep-sea creatures, such as anglerfish, suggesting that its mechanics may revolve around enticement, consumption, and transformation.

Necropolis Mechanics

Looking back at Necropolis expansion, Allflame embers appeared in PoE as map fragments. As a dropable resource used for mechanic interactions, it gradually became a portable map modification material.

While the overall design of Necropolis received mixed reviews within Path of Exile community, the core idea of using Allflame to modify the combat environment gained some player approval. In particular, its impact on map spawn structure, monster attributes, and the drop rate of Path of Exile 1 Currency led many players to see the potential of burst-type map mechanics.

Therefore, with Curse of the Allflame, many players naturally wondered: Will PoE use Allflame to bring us a more mature map enhancement season mechanic?

Map Mechanics

At the gameplay level, the most daring speculation in PoE community currently focuses on the restructuring of Atlas mechanic. This season may introduce marine Atlas or a map-flipping system, allowing you to enter a parallel space corresponding to the existing Atlas structure.

This reverse Atlas system is believed to possess several characteristics: it may share influence mechanisms with the main Atlas, but its operating rules are completely different; the overall content leans more towards sailing, drifting, and exploration of the unknown.

Simultaneously, this mechanism may incorporate various voyage events, causing you to constantly encounter sudden boss battles, corrupted areas, or unpredictable environmental changes as you progress through Path of Exile map.

While this concept is currently still highly speculative, its close alignment with keywords such as deep sea, curse, and unknown summons in the official POE trailer has quickly gained traction in the player community, becoming a focal point of discussion.

Fleet Season

Meanwhile, the term fleet season has resurfaced in Path of Exile community. Players generally predict that this season may include sailing mechanics, drifting exploration, and even light fishing gameplay and ocean encounters, thus reigniting the long-standing debate surrounding the fishing system in Path of Exile.

Further fueled by the promotional hype surrounding Curse of the Allflame, discussions about boat fishing, sea monsters, and fish bosses have expanded further. Path of Exile players have even begun to envision a complete boat fishing league, eagerly anticipating true ocean mechanics and exotic creature bosses.

If you want to learn more about POE 3.29 expansion, follow EZG Facebook. We also have limited-time giveaways where lucky players can receive a free Path of Exile 1 Currency.

EZG Facebook Path of Exile 1 Currency Giveaways

Based on all current clues, Path of Exile 3.29 expansion, Curse of the Allflame, remains highly uncertain. It may continue the map-changing approach of Necropolis, or it may completely shift towards a new gameplay system centered around navigation and the curse of the deep.

The only certainty is that Allflame is no longer just a story item, but is gradually becoming a core symbol connecting life, corruption, and the unknown abyss. The true answer may only be revealed in the livestream on July 16th.

Path of Exile 3.29 League Launch Guide: 4 Strong Starter Builds for Smooth League Start

Path of Exile 3.29 League Launch Guide: 4 Strong Starter Builds for Smooth League Start

Path of Exile 3.29 league will officially launch on July 24, 2026 at 1 PM PST. GGG livestream will begin on July 16, 2026 at 1 PM PST, where the new league mechanics, balance adjustments, and new skills will be officially announced.

To smoothly and successfully start the new league, choosing a build with low gear investment requirements and effective late-game progression is crucial. If you want to lighten the load and better adapt to the game, you must read this article.

This article has prepared four Path of Exile 3.29 league early game builds for players. You can choose 2-3 as backups and then adjust them according to the official patch notes after July 16th livestream announcement. Let's take a look.

Path of Exile 3.29 League Launch Guide: 4 Strong Starter Builds for Smooth League Start

1. Toxic Rain Totem Pathfinder (Ranger)

This build is widely considered one of the safest and most efficient early game builds for PoE 3.29 league. Its advantage lies in its self-sufficient growth mechanism, allowing you to accumulate Path of Exile 1 Currency while acquiring gear, without overly relying on trading.

The core mechanic involves using Ballista Totem Support gem to summon totems, which automatically cast Toxic Rain. The poisonous rain falls like rain, generating spore pods on the ground that deal continuous, significant chaos damage to enemies within the area.

In addition, the spore pods explode upon disappearing, dealing extra damage to enemies, making it ideal for farming mobs and dealing with bosses.

In the early stages of PoE 3.29 league, I recommend prioritizing gear with attack speed modifiers, as this directly increases the totem firing frequency.

2. Minion Necromancer (Witch)

Minion Necromancer builds have consistently been recommended by players of all levels because most of the damage comes from the undead army, allowing you to focus almost entirely on survival and positioning. Therefore, this build doesn't have high gear requirements in the early game, making it very suitable as a starting build for Path of Exile 3.29 league.

The goal of this build is to build a powerful undead army. You need to acquire and upgrade key minion skill gems as early as possible, such as Raise Zombie, Raise Spectre, Summon Chaos Golem, and Summon Holy Relic. Afterward, you can further enhance the power of your undead army by investing in numerous undead-related passive skills in the north and northwest of the skill tree.

In the early stages of POE 3.29 league, I recommend focusing on defensive armor that increases life, skill gem levels, and summoner skills. Another powerful item worth pursuing is The Covenant, a chest piece that significantly enhances your summoner build.

3. Archmage Ice Nova Hierophant (Templar)

For players who enjoy spellcasting and powerful area-of-effect damage, this build is also a very good starting choice for 3.29 league. Generally, completing the first act of the main questline will unlock Ice Nova skill, a spell that deals frost damage to a surrounding area.

This build utilizes Archmage Support gem to enhance Frost Nova, which adds significant lightning damage to the skill based on your mana. This combination delivers massive burst damage, proving effective for both farming monsters and dealing with bosses.

In the early stages of 3.29 League, you should prioritize increasing mana and spell damage. Archmage Support gem's power is directly related to your maximum mana. You should allocate points to the top of Passive Tree, where nodes that increase elemental damage are located.

4. Kinetic Fusillade Ballista (Whisperer)

Kinetic Fusillade Ballista Whisperer build was very powerful in POE 3.28 League. However, it's worth noting that it's likely to be nerfed in this League. If it isn't, then this is your best choice for 3.29 League.

This build is considered a top-tier early-game build because of its incredible growth curve. It reaches full potential at level 31, and from then on, its damage output far surpasses that of typical early-game builds. It delivers extremely high damage output with very low gear investment.

Meanwhile, Kinetic Fusillade Ballista build gives you a significant economic advantage. It allows you to easily farm T17 maps and the final boss on day one or two with only about five Path of Exile 1 Divine Orb gear sets, something most builds take weeks to achieve - truly a bargain.

At the start of Path of Exile 3.29 league, Mind of the Council helmet is your top priority. Next, prioritize acquiring Anathema rings with powerful anointments to maximize your damage in the early stages of PoE.

With July 24th release date approaching, be sure to watch GGG livestream on July 16th for the full patch notes and any nerfs or buffs. This will be the final piece of the puzzle to help you finalize your choices. If you'd like to learn more, follow EZG Facebook. They also have occasional giveaways to help you acquire more game resources.

This article concludes with predictions and analysis of the best starting builds for Path of Exile 3.29 league. Having 2-3 possible initial builds will allow you to quickly adjust based on the final patch notes, helping you flexibly adapt to the new league.

However, remember that the best starting build should be the one that best suits your style and goals; don't blindly follow the crowd. Finally, let's look forward to the launch of the new league!

Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Explained: Harbinger Return, Meta Build Predictions and Synthesised Item Rework

Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Explained: Harbinger Return, Meta Build Predictions and Synthesised Item Rework

As Patch 3.28 of Path of Exile draws to a close, players, busy with Return of the Ancestors event, have already set their sights on Patch 3.29, which will officially launch on July 24th.

Currently, the developers have not revealed any specific update content for Patch 3.29, leading to much speculation and anticipation among players. For example, will Harbingers return? Which build will become Meta? Will the crafting system be modified?

This article will address three of the most popular speculations from the community.

Path of Exile Patch 3.29 Explained: Harbinger Return, Meta Build Predictions and Synthesised Item Rework

Harbinger Return Speculation

First, a hotly debated speculation within POE player community: Harbingers may return in Patch 3.29.

Harbinger Introduction

Harbingers are a unique and mysterious enemy introduced in Harbinger League in POE. They are floating, robed humanoid creatures who use a unique language, whose script and grammar have become a hot topic of puzzle-solving within the player community.

These are essentially immortal monsters that cannot be directly attacked; players must defeat their summoned minions to inflict damage. The reward for defeating them is also unique: a special Currency.

This Currency can be used to exchange for powerful special equipment, and even allows players to summon their own Harbinge, thus receiving widespread praise.

However, they were removed in Patch 3.28. Based on the historical update patterns of PoE, the temporary removal of a mechanic often means it is undergoing "remodeling" rather than "abandonment".

Moreover, given that the developers currently need to balance the development of both PoE 1 and PoE 2, remodeling a mature, old mechanic is far more efficient than designing entirely new ones from scratch.

Therefore, the player community generally expects Harbinge to return in Patch 3.29 after a series of modifications - such as updating Atlas Passive key nodes, improving the reward mechanism, and more closely integrating it with endgame content.

Harbinger New Mechanism Speculation

If Harbinger returns, its appearance will likely be similar to Delirium or Wildwood: appearing as a random encounter event on the map, and cannot be forcibly triggered. This "uncontrollable encounter" design has become increasingly common in recent updates to PoE and PoE 2.

The core mechanism of Harbinger encounters might be: players have a certain probability of encountering Harbinger, who will then summon waves of monsters. After defeating these monsters, players will receive exclusive Harbinger Currency Shards.

These Currency Shards could be used to exchange for other Path of Exile 1 Currency, or they could be used in Atlas Passive Tree or other endgame content.

Meta Build Predictions

Besides Harbinger, PoE players are most enthusiastic about speculating which build will become the meta in Patch 3.29.

Currently, the three most discussed builds are: Toxic Rain Pathfinder, Lightning Arrow Deadeye, and Essence Drain Contagion Occultist.

Toxic Rain Pathfinder

Toxic Rain Pathfinder build is unanimously considered by the community to be the most likely to become a meta build in Patch 3.29. Its core advantage lies in its extremely low risk of being nerfed - the core mechanics of this build have been virtually unaffected across multiple patches.

Its core mechanics involve Pathfinder continuously using Toxic Rain ability. The projectiles from this ability spawn Spore Pods upon landing. These Spore Pods can explode, causing area-of-effect chaos damage over time, and the area-of-effect damage from multiple Spore Pods can overlap.

Lightning Arrow Deadeye

Lightning Arrow Deadeye is another widely favored build. Lightning Arrow ability was not adjusted in Patch 3.28 and is very likely not to be nerfed in Patch 3.29.

The core advantage of this build lies in the synergy between Deadeye's two Notable Passive Skills - Endless Munitions and Far Shot. The former increases the number of arrows fired by Lightning Arrow, while the latter increases the damage dealt by these arrows.

Essence Drain Contagion Occultist

This build has maintained a strong position across multiple patches and is considered a classic build by PoE players.

Its core mechanic is the synergy between Essence Drain and Contagion. First, Essence Drain inflicts continuous damage on enemies while simultaneously restoring the player's health based on the damage dealt.

Simultaneously, when an enemy attacked by Contagion dies, Contagion spreads the remaining continuous damage from Essence Drain to all surrounding enemies, creating an area-of-effect attack.

Synthesised Item System Speculation

Finally, there's a speculation about Synthesised Item system. In the current PoE, Synthesised Item represents the pinnacle of gear crafting.

"Synthesised" refers to adding hidden base affixes to the base gear through specific crafting techniques. These affixes can significantly increase the theoretical potential of the gear and are an indispensable part of creating super-powerful equipment.

However, Synthesized Items are almost impossible to obtain directly through normal farming. Players can only produce them or roll them using specific options in Harvest crafting or Vivid Vulture recipe. This unique acquisition method makes crafted equipment a crafter's domain.

The developers have previously stated that Synthesized Item system will be significantly adjusted in Patch 3.29. The most likely change is that Synthesized Items will be reinstated as a drop in crafting maps, allowing players to obtain them directly through farming.

Therefore, existing crafting options in Harvest may face adjustments or even removal. Vivid Vulture recipe is also likely to be removed or completely reworked in Patch 3.29.

These are three of the most popular guesses in Path of Exile player community regarding new content in Patch 3.29.

If you're interested in this article, you can follow EZG Facebook. We'll bring you more information and give away valuable gifts to our followers in the future.

In general, all three of these points have a high probability of becoming reality. Whether they will ultimately be implemented remains to be seen until Patch 3.29 is officially released.
